LD30 — Connected Worlds

Nodes of Jucia by pirate-rob 2014-08-25T03:15:00

Instead of linking to your download as "Web," you should link to it as Windows, as it links to an .exe download and I went to the link thinking it'd be a browser based game (as Web implies). Hope to see a Mac port, I'd love to try your game it looks fun!

Hitchhike World by Mnemusyne 2014-08-25T04:13:00

Oh this is fun! It's a little basic, but it's a neat concept that interprets the theme in a different way than other games I'd tried tonight. The graphics are serviceable, no sound, and it's kinda hilarious when the islands hit the birds and they explode in to a bloody mess. Neat little game, would play again.

On the edge of Earth: 5000 by Hypnohustla 2014-08-25T19:49:00

Unfortunately I'm having real trouble figuring out what to do which is why my rating on fun is a little lower. It's got a great presentation, good music and cute sound effects, and a cool concept, I just don't really know what to do.

bats: fish invasion by sthreet 2014-08-25T04:22:00

That is one of the creepiest lose screens I have ever come across A+

Interplanetary Messengers by DragonMaster21 2014-08-25T05:09:00

Couldn't get it to launch after the start screen! Tutorial worked, but in hitting play it'd crash. It's an old mid-2009 13'' MacBook Pro running Mavericks ^^

These Cosmic Chains by ploogle 2014-08-25T19:24:00

I really like this! The death quotes are a cool addition, the game is quite fun, the graphics are cute, and the interpretation of the theme is pretty spot-on. Would recommend!

The Life of a Pixel World by ShivanHunter 2014-08-25T02:35:00

Totally fun! Really interesting use of the theme, well-built, colorful, and very interesting! Will be sharing with friends, I liked it a lot!

Abstrakt by ViliX64 2014-08-25T19:46:00

Unfortunately couldn't get it to run on OS X. Console says this: 8/25/14 12:45:48.570 PM gkbisd[142]: Unable to collect cdhash for /System/Library/CoreServices/Jar Launcher.app (error code 100024)

I'm guessing it's an issue on my end, but I hope that helps!

Abstrakt by ViliX64 2014-08-27T03:58:00

I really like that the message here can apply to a lot of different people. It's a game about mental illness, and it speaks to a lot of different illnesses in a way that relates to the theme and is interesting to play. I too would have toned down the colors but I like it a lot.

Chipset-0 by deepnight 2014-08-25T02:57:00

Absolutely fucking adored this. The puzzles and platforming offer a good, interesting challenge. The graphics are wonderful, the sound is fantastic, the robot is hella cute, the use of the theme is original Keep it up!

Planetary Marriage Counseling by WeaselZone 2014-08-25T19:38:00

Really fun and quite funny! It's rather challenging, but super charming and I'd recommend it. I haven't beaten it yet, either!

Match And Shoot by skymarionsky 2014-08-25T12:16:00

Two of my favorite game types! The game would be more fair if the bullets in the shoot portion acted more like they do in Missile Command. Fun game though!

Gravity: Connected Worlds by Seraphic Media 2014-08-25T05:24:00

Oh this is fun! I like that there are multiple kinds of games. I'd love to see a touch screen version of this, it kinda reminds me of Eliss Infinity in the best way possible.

Troika - how long will you cooperate? by Tomker 2014-08-25T03:29:00

You should submit your link as a Windows link instead of a Web link! Web implies that it can be played in a browser. Hope to see a Mac port, I'd love to try your game! :D

Spacecat Marines by matthias_zarzecki 2014-08-25T03:14:00

Kinda fun! Feels a little derivative and I'm having trouble understanding its relationship to the theme, but the graphics are nice and the sounds are cute, plus the game has a lot of content considering the time limit. I'll probably keep it on my computer until I finish it, and the fact that it's going to take me a while to finish speaks to the breadth of content it has (3 different worlds with 4 different missions each for a total of 12 levels).

Linking by handkor 2014-08-25T04:57:00

It's cool that you have a video for those of us without Windows! :D

Connected We Run by Sandcrawler 2014-08-25T02:24:00

It's very tricky and has a cool concept! There are some glitches, and often the game creates platforms in such a way that it's practically impossible for both blocks to continue, but it's a good base to start from!

Spectral Divide by rmeier 2014-08-25T05:20:00

This is cool! It feels like games I've played in the past but it's implemented quite well and has quite a challenge! The fact that some levels took me upwards of 70 turns was quite rewarding.

World of Beatrice, the girl next door by Lyszie 2014-08-25T07:05:00

My favorite part about Twine is the way it can make a person feel someone else's lived experience and this is a shining example of that potential. Well done!

World of Beatrice, the girl next door by Lyszie 2014-08-25T07:06:00

A defining game for the Twine platform. On an 'objective/measurable' level, Twine games are technically basic, but this game's writing is incredibly poignant and transports the player somewhere else.

Color Runner by vinhuman 2014-08-25T07:24:00

Frenetic and fun! Some minor glitches, but a cool concept with neat graphics that could turn into something really cool!

Scrunch by mcc 2014-08-25T04:14:00

Rad as fuck and she knows that I feel that way. Love this so much OMG. Doesn't have too much to do with the theme other then it connecting MY world to a world of RAINBOWS AND EXCITEMENT

Transcendence of the Human Spirit by duncankeller 2014-08-25T04:06:00

Super interesting! I love how well the mechanic functions for such a quickly made game. The graphics and sound are rather charming and the puzzle presented to the player is engaging. The game made me want more, and I really hope to see a more polished version in the future.

LD33 — You are the Monster

Teratogenesis by MiloSomething 2015-08-22T03:58:00

As a trans person who experiences and has made Twine games about dysphoria before, first route made me say "damn", but it feels a little thin on content as all routes lead to essentially the same ending. I did like it, but it might be stronger if you use the rest of the 48 hours to add more.
