I'm confused. What IS the weapon? Also, the shooting is constant. It's not toggled by left mouse. And the sound it makes is really annoying.

This "game" is kinda fun for a few minutes... but I'm not sure how this fits into the theme at all. I don't think you are either, due to your lack of "theme" rating category.
Those were the most amazing sound effects I've ever heard. I ended up getting stuck in corners a lot though.
Intersting concept. I'm not very familiar with the genre (nor am I sure there is one), but the progressive choice thing was kind of cool. Would have liked it more if it explained a little more though.
It's a good idea (controlling three people), but the difficulty spike was huge!
You can basically place a plant anywhere and win eventually because it keeps growing indefinitely.
I didn't even know you could make buttons like this in pdfs... I've thought about powerpoint games before, but this is a new level to me.
The enemies eventually just stopped spawning... Am I too good?
I was considering trying for the high score... and probably will later.
(response to something posted on my page, also posted there)
Took me a while to remember what game you were talking about. The art was bad and a paintball gun wasn't original, I won't lie about that. Maybe the way I phrased that was too harsh, but they weren't under the intention of being mean. I posted a second comment on the game's page.
I'm not sure what you're talking about, this music is amazing!
What's with the jerking off though...? This some sorta inside joke?
Good mechanics, good idea, but maybe next time focus more on having multiple levels :P
Reminds me of hammerfight, except less complicated and significantly less serious.
It feels like a bunch of good ideas got mashed up and were never finished, nor was the game.
I finished it... I will think back on this moment for the rest of my life. The moment when I played the box-person game.
Buggy, clunky and boring. Fitting music though.
"Better art". It pains me to imagine this is "better". Honestly, the enemies were more creative than the weapon. I liked the movement though, even though I'm not a fan of eight directional shooting. Good sound effects too.
recomment: Someone told me my comment seemed mean. Sorry if it seemed that way. I guess I focused too much on the negative points. Honestly, the movement in this game was top notch (Good use of velocity and friction), and even though the game used eight direction shooting, which (as I said previously) I am not a fan of, it did it perfectly.
My apologies if this was taken the wrong way.
It was a nice slow paced game, and the music fit that very well, but the airplane seemed more like a rock suspended at a certain velocity going through space more than a paper airplane. It could've used some physics.
Very well done and polished. Very fun concept too!
Website is currently down. You should probably fix that. I can't play the web version nor download the windows version.
Although there seemed to be features unfinished (some of the bowling balls on the return platforms disappeared), and a few glitches (balls would disappear the moment they touched the top of the screen, as opposed to the moment they disappeared from the screen), and the fact that the main character could switch from ice-skates to cleats on a whim, this game was enjoyable, and on top of that, it by far had the best 2D graphics I've seen so far.
I mean... at least it has a fitting title.
Killing sea creatures with plastic bottles... I'm not sure if this game is a statement against littering, or a parody of one.
Why don't the villagers jump into the water :(
Though it didn't bring anything new in terms of gameplay to the table, and it was kind of unwieldly, (It feels like the acceleration on the x axis was just way to high, if there even was any), it was funny, and it had some nice audio too. (Why'd you disable audio ratings...?)
Source code is on google drive due to my having a hard time with both github and google sites.
I was actually worried the game mechanics might be TOO confusing, but I'm glad to know someone figured them out. The music isn't procedural, but it is made up of patterns. It's not composed note by note, but it's not made by a program either. I wasn't too worried about a theme while making this, more worried about how all the parts would fit together.
(Last comment was directed at MattV, this one's at ironleonem)
Join the pro-fetus movement. It wasn't even supposed to be shocking, just unconventional.
Maybe next time I should think of an actual premise instead of coming up with one 5 hours before deadline though... (I had already had the fetuses for a long while by this point)
@edve98
What do you mean? Do you see the three opening screens? Does it crash? Do you have xna 4.0 redist (or game studio) installed? (not the refresh, though that might work too)
If it just crashes on startup, it's probably an issue with your xna installation, but if you get past the opening screens and then it crashes, I'm lost.
@Adreqi
Babies and spaceships? ...They're fetuses, but I won't correct you on the spaceships because I'm not really sure what those are myself.
@terpin lol thanks
@ploogle (going to post this on your page too)

@Kronics
Everything on that short screen was in the description too. I think that screen was a little short too.
@Datamosh it was originally "Baby Fetus Bombs", but by the time it was nearing a finished state, the fetuses spun when thrown, so I changed the name to sound better.
@Datamosh Also: No I don't camp this page, I just happened to check it the moment you posted
@barkergames yeah sorry fullscreen in xna is shit. Monogame scales it correctly, but when you exit fullscreen in monogame it basically stops working. (hence I disabled fullscreen in monogame)
All in all, fullscreen support just seems to be lacking everywhere these days.
Broken.
Game just cuts away to a different scene the moment you click anything, and then nothing happens.

Am I the only one who tried to click download?
Also: One one spot it says doogle, and another it says doodle.
I'm also not really sure why you can pick up weapons but not use them...
I think I spent 25 minutes on this game, never winning once, but enjoying it the entire time.
As with what everyone else is saying: Please add more levels...
It's a nice fun, well build space-invaders-esque game with a nice feel between the graphics and art, though the difficulty ramp is really slow and after a certain point the game starts experiencing slow-down. (I would guess due to a HUGE amount of saucers being created at once.) You have some optimization work to do.
I really enjoyed this.
Good audio and nice graphics (albeit waaaaay too many particles), though the bugs were a bit intrusive. Had to refresh a few times.
This game is extremely well polished, and using space junk as the weapon was a great idea!
