Classic but well made. It works well and it's rather fun. I don't like Pomeranians either. :)

LOL! Funny idea :D Dogs should come down the lanes only.

This is quite good. The only downside for me is that I had to install it and it is such a hassle to remove.

nice job on the character graphics!

I like how smooth it plays and it has a difficulty increase the longer the round. Bowling ball is pretty unconventional as a weapon, so that's great.

The graphics were decent, better than the 2 pixel thin quickly made sprites, but I also couldn't tell what the thing was that you are hitting with bowling balls.

I think it would of been more enjoyable with some sound.

Nice details with the guy at the bar and standing on the side. Gameplay is simple, but I didn't see any problems/bugs.

(Side note: I will say that having to "install" is a big turn-off for a Ludum Dare game. I understand it considering the tools you used to write it, but maybe consider something that deploys to web for Ludum Dare)

Hah! I love The Big Lebowski and enjoy the use of it here. :) I agree you should add some audio, sfxr/bfxr is pretty easy and would have added a lot! Otherwise well done!

It's like a game and watch game, I like it :)
I made only 42 in the first and 100 in the second. I think I can do better! (I'll see the source code later ;) )

Uploaded a version that does not require an install.

Although there seemed to be features unfinished (some of the bowling balls on the return platforms disappeared), and a few glitches (balls would disappear the moment they touched the top of the screen, as opposed to the moment they disappeared from the screen), and the fact that the main character could switch from ice-skates to cleats on a whim, this game was enjoyable, and on top of that, it by far had the best 2D graphics I've seen so far.

I thought at first that I could only use balls as ammo from near the lane that I was firing at, so I was more cautious about spamming three or four balls down a single lane. Then I discovered that I could instantly use any ball available, so I started launching more. Given that they keep going after eliminating a Pomeranian, it seemed like a good strategy to just fire off a bunch of bowling balls and let them do their work. Not much thinking required. But eventually the speed and frequency of Pomeranians overwhelmed me, naturally. One way to encourage not spamming balls might be to give out bonus points for having more balls in the queue, ready to go.

I had to get used to the fact that the ball launched from the right side of the character. Obvious, given the nature of bowling, but my gamer brain kept expect the ball to emanate from the center of the character. Maybe if the character was actually visibly holding a ball on the right side my brain wouldn't have been so stubborn.

Really smooth gameplay and it's really well made ;-)

Good graphics (say cheers to your missus), and great idea. Too bad it's not complete - I'd really love to play an action bowling game.
