where are all the cannonballs?!?!
mediafire are bad! get a dropbox.
loved boogie mode but the controls bugged me, why WSAD when you're barely using your right hand at all??
BAN THIS SICK FILTH! i got a 27, excellent work!
stopped working on the second aptitude test, the banana wouldnt move
car moves too fast for the track and needs some sort of momentum!
the jumping needed more work i think. looks and sounds ace though!
i got 43!
very nice!
the sound and art make this, shame about the collision detection
Grr had to turn on mouse acceleration, but i beat it in the end :)
Updated to correct a typo, I got the month wrong! stupids am I. now to play some other games!
Thanks! that was totally what i was going for!... kinda..
potatoes gonna potate yo
The final gun upgrade is a 5 way blaster, there are 7 levels of upgrade,
my high score is 80,000 something :)
yay thanks!
the progression could have been a bit better, too easy for too long then impossible with very little between
who's got more than one joypad connected to their PC?
nice idea! ...I don't see why you'd ever want to use the split function unless you were a masochist though
nice idea but a completely random blank tile wall of death clicking got me grr!
superb! using anything other than the UZI is a death sentence though, would have been nice to have something worth shooting the bazooka at!
Excellent idea, looking forward to the 3D version, as it stands though, the reward for the patience required isn't enough, as you can already see the end result perfectly in the xray.
love the silhouette style!
very cool, has a lot of potential with some more varied recopies!
was more fun when I found you could move :)
superb! my high score is 20
pretty harrowing game really! I think I left my patient in quite a bad way, really cool though.
What part of the gut has all these branches? :)
210m! ...is that a beer can i hear?
things flew past, they were going a bit fast for subs, it feels like the whole games really sped up, does the game logic tie in with the frame rate or something?
209 seconds!
Control reversal is _ALWAYS_ the opposite of fun, when will people learn! otherwise good effort :)
neat orbital mechanics!
Why do you hate mouse buttons? having to build resource gatherers is an interesting twist on the tower defence formulae!
needs a way to kill the enemies above the water!
really atmospheric, excellent music!
I spent faaaar too long playing this, but I did find Atlantis so that's ok.
why WSAD when you don't use the mouse? I don't want to play a game using just my left hand! looks really nice, nice lighting!
got a bit repetitive after 10 mins, perhaps some progression to make it harder as you play would help... oh and something to spend that cash on :)
nice! when do I get my classic car collection?
Is level 4 possible? ...oh yes winrar is me!
GRRRR level3! RAGE!!!
nifty tune, couldn't get far though..
neat puzzle! took me 180 actions
A mouse cursor that camouflages with the background is not the best idea!
really great concept! needed more levels to fully explore it
Couldn't figure out how to get minerals, loved how the combat works though!
doesn't run
i tried to use some online OCR to read a screenshot of the error but i got bored correcting it:
Traceback (most recent call last):

really nice puzzles! the annoying jumping small gaps with momentum kinda detracted, but overall really cool! crackin' audio!
Really cool, coulda used more time, my one well made more oil than I could transport so there wasn't much impetus to find more than one.
the xbox controller option was completely useless, keys were ace.
500/200 diamonds! ...he seemed to stop collecting them after 500 :)
someone's been playing the Stanley Parable! very cool!
The mouse sensitivity is way too low and when I turn right, the mouse leaves the screen the games on, so firing minimizes the game. kinda not what you wanna do when being attacked! otherwise is looks amazing well done!
Controls are awful! - why do we have to control the whole thing left handed? yet, despite this, it's a very cool game! love how the bot thrusts to turn - very KSP, and I lol'd when I noticed the factory made cleaning bots, excellent!
I beat all 4 levels but mainly through sheer rage, I'm not sure this is a great premise for a game, the hopping birds following you were ace though!
great implementation of a classic, liked the the CRT-style screen curve!
Took me a while to figure out what you're supposed to do! protip: move the objects when it's open!
incredibly satisfying being the bad guy! excellent job!
Awful controls render this almost unplayable! are we supposed to play this entirely left handed? Its a shame cos this looks awesome!
Nice ideas but the control issues hampered my enjoyment somewhat
really impressed with this, awesome monsters!
you need to move the bot to the girl to finish a level, for some reason moving vertically to her doesn't trigger success (it was supposed to), I ran out of time fixing that one, just make sure you finish moving horizontally towards her!
Yes! Poor space captain!
yeah time acceleration was the plan, codes all in there for variable tick rates but adding the UI would have taken map editing time away which I had precious little of anyway.
Thanks for your kind comments everyone i'm inspired to work on this some more post compo!
the direction the screws went seemed to have very little relation to the orientation of the targeting box, it would benefit from a way to boost sideways so you could avoid the incoming fire and return fire at the same timw
so the weapon is the environment and you draw the baddies into the red patches? fiendishly cunning. loved the musical notes as you pick stuff up but continually hammering my keyboard got tiring!
very very cool! how on earth did you record that background atmosphere noise in the compo rules?
that is one polished game! well done! my one complaint is the level on floor 3 where they gang up on a star hat, it locks your control whilst they pass it round.
Good job releasing on android! brofist! game was perhaps a little simplistic but I hope it was a good learning experience, I recommend Intellij community edition over android studio.
pretty damn awesome!
questions:
what is the second arrow type supposed to do?
how is it unconventional?
Very cool! needs some sort of objective or goal to work towards because you can sit in a corner indefinitely and never get attacked.
I totally get what you're trying to do here and its a really cool idea but I didn't get very far playing it, can you do a video walk-through or something?
looks familiar! would have been nice to modernise the concept with a click and drag interface or something
Easily the best sand-based combat platformer of the compo, well done! You're acceleration values could have been a bit higher to make the game feel a bit more responsive, those stairs were annoying!
nifty!
the right clicking! it does nothing!
nice idea and excellent presentation but let down by a unintuitive gui and it all feels a bit random.
Wouldn't run on windows 7, no error message it just does nothing.
very cool! more levels etc :)
I accidentally clicked the close button whilst upgrading!
needs more variety in badguys
Really need some instructions! you walk around collecting money from the smiley face dudes, then it goes dark and zombies attack the moneysotrage?
A lot of fun, way to ignore a theme though!
it needed some way to stop me clicking outside the screen which usually prompted certain death, and does it only go to level 9?
Bit simplistic but it works, great job putting out an android version!
So good! I reached an exclamation mark which doesn't seem to do anything...is there and end?
curiously addictive, I beat all the levels! BURN! HAHA BURRRN!!
played the GF, she lost and said this was the worst game ever, I liked it though, good job!
Second ant burning game I've seen today! still a really cool idea, yours is a bit more realistic with the time required to kill an ant but I'm not sure if that makes it as fun...
Didn't seem to do any damage to the enemy ship and there weren't any clues as to which combo was best... but I can appreciate the scope and ambition of the game!
I am frankly horrified by the lack of safety features on the FireShot 4000, why didn't you upgrade to the FireShot 4000 model B which simply refuses to fire until it cools down rather than straight up kills you. besides that good job!
wow those were some tough puzzles excellent job!
needs a restart button on the web version, it takes a minute to refresh! otherwise good job!
couldn't complete level 1? couldn't pick up key and there's no explanation what to do once you buy the chips
nauseating :) got a bit repetitive, single mouse click firing felt unresponsive once you get rapid fire upgrade 'cos it looks like it waits for the next fire 'beat' rather than immediately starts firing when you click, took a while to realize i could just hold the button down :)
haha it's like being at school again! excellent magnifier effect
It's like the binding of Isaac with a spoons!
your art looks cool it's a shame they're not animated but that would have been a massive job for 48 hours! otherwise its a bit simplistic and lacking in feedback when you attack things
Combat wasn't the most fun but on the whole a really excellent entry, really atmospheric sound!
Very cool concept and excellent graphics! the controls irked me though, I'd much rather have the view locked to the plane, and maybe allow turning with the mouse
Bit annoying the way your pet gets killed if he's not actively running for snacks, otherwise top effort!
59-25 I am death incarnate! nice game!
the pick-up and throw control feels so unresponsive it almost ruins an otherwise fun game
weirdly engaging I have no interest in the subject yet I continue to play and I don't know why!
I gotta say charging for your LD entry or sticking it behind an advert is a bit audacious.
great concept!
Great idea and graphics but the combat was a bit lacking, very ambitious concept for a compo entry!
looks cool not sure what it does though! can you release an .exe next time I don't like having to install stuff!
very cool!
Excellent! would like to invert mouse but that's just nit picking
nice job on the character graphics!
player character really needs to a different colour!
Quite fun, it needs the Benny hill theme!
bit slow and pretty confusing because there's very little feedback to the player... do the ships work?
nice, could use some sort of indication of when the spike modes gonna run out!
Windows 7 didn't run, not rated.
looks neat but I super sucked at this one might! might have been more sensible of the planets had played different tunes/rhythms in their key and pulsed with their notes or something...
cool dust effects but that is one super hard game! also cursor key controls would have been nice :)
very cool! could have used a checkpoint system!
I don't get how you control the throw distance, sometimes it barely goes anywhere and others it goes of the screen
great idea, looks amazing but the controls let it down a bit.
disappointing lack of tangible potatoes but otherwise a fine effort.
You might want to try a different file host, chrome refuses to download this!
"Slaughter_v001.exe is malicious and Chrome has blocked it."
there's a jump button??!? bit simple but it looked and sounded nice.
also, what's with people pasting their scores? I hope I don't get rated by that 6y/o, harsh!!
a mocapped compo entry?!?! wow! great fun too, well done!
Thanks for the feedback, it's not supposed to follow your mouse pointer exactly, your pointer is simulating a finger on a phone screen so generally you'd be using your left thumb as a virtual joystick, sort of, so you can take your thumb off the screen and reset the position for comfort without changing your in-game position. eventually you'd be able to adjust the sensitivity so you wouldn't have to move the mouse/digit so far to move.
Re. the web version right click popping up context menus, that was unavoidable and the reason it looks for key input as an alternative, it's terrible and I'd much rather ppl played the JAR or android version! :)
Really nice graphics and sound, and it plays well but I kept getting stuck in the level, e.g. when triggering the bridge if you're in the way it traps you inside it, also when turning too close to a wall.
also with the text you should make it so the first key press displays all the text rather than skipping straight on to the next line of dialogue!
love it!
very cool! my one complaint was the sea floor didn't move when I did so it didn't feel like there was any motion when you didn't have a ship in view for reference
Superb!
Controls don't feel too responsive when jumping, could use some indicator on the monster to show what mode he's in, maybe change colour?
All i see is a huge "Character Panel" that obscures the screen and never goes
X64 version on win7 CTDs when i pick up whatever the weapon is
I keep dying and I can't see what's killing me, makes for a furstrating game I'm afraid
very difficult but has that one-more-go factor grr! well done!
Cool idea but some of the clicking felt unresponsive, e.g. half the time I couldn't drop an imp in the firing office
Very cool! I think the starting jump puzzle would have been alright if i didn't wind up having to do it multiple times, a check point system maybe would have reduced that annoyance factor. otherwise i liked the gradual addition of powers and how the puzzles worked with them!
@skruffye I spent ages trying to find "English Country Gardens" royalty free for a background music track but there's none out there! i think it'd be perfect.
thanks for the feedback everyone i'm working on a post jam version
other than letting them out of the jar and feeding them to make them bigger/reproduce you don't have much influence over the cute little buggers, there's no way to keep them from escaping the table is there? i couldn't do anything with the tools? it's very impressive !
some weird UI choices with the keys to move and the on-screen buttons to chop/build. if i could leave the axe by the trees instead of that drawn out animation every time I feel i'd have done better :) it did keep me coming back tho, i got over 50 kills, good job!
super chilled game i could play this for hours
amazing visuals, tunes and the totes emotes feels, but the TD gameplay didn't click for me, I think the two upgrade cycles before they become active towers along with the addition of new lanes made it pretty frustrating as a game... almost... like it was.. inevitable! waA?!?!
I gots the RSI but I enjoyed it so that's ok!
Medieval transport tycoon deluxe! it looks incredible! the ui needs to be streamlined and it could use a time speed up, but this is so ambitious my hats off to you!
hidden complexity in this one! i like it a lot, nice work!
really atmospheric sounds and visuals, great level design, and i love the use of the players path for the curse movement! bonus points for an invert mouse mode too!
high score: 123! I'm not sure what happened but it was a lot of fun...how did they get guns?!?!?
very cool! I like the level difficulty progression, the only thing i'd change is a keyboard restart shortcut
Kinda stumped, I solved the map puzzle and have a stone tablet but yeah... stuck... loving the art style tho, very cool!
literally dripping in atmosphere, the pixelly 3d is awesome. it told me I survived after 49 days both times i played through? it didn't feel like it...
has a serious "one more go" factor to it, love it! A+++ for the music
didn't feel very inevitable at this point :) bombs!.png needs some balancing but otherwise it's great fun!
I will forever hate purple eggs! great game, disappointed i couldn't get past 95
tight controls, bangin' sound track, strong one more go factor, brilliant! my high score: 42
Thanks @lisyarus for your feedback! the hammer just applies an impulse to all objects within a radius, the kids carry on wondering in the direction they're blasted or deflected, but they are kind of funnelled to the exit by the level design, the first level is ridiculously easy so it'll win automatically if you leave it... if only i had more time!
@kierogi I see what you did there! thanks! hadn't considered AI generated levels, that's a great idea
@maximeg Thank you! i'm glad someone can appreciate not using unity/unreal/godot :)
nifty! I always wanted a go on a crane!
cute homunculus!
that is one slick game, so much variety! it got a bit samey after ...wow almost an hours play, wow that's super impressive holding my ADHD attention that long, I'd recommend curating the player experience a bit, maybe have the passengers talk to you as you go, and introduce the next passengers who'd be conveniently close to the drop off etc.. make a story
I liked the sound! feels like a bit more balancing would help, there were so many zombies by the time I returned from my 2nd delivery that I couldn't pick up a new one without being mobbed, but I only had almost $20... no chance of getting that damage powerup
59 poops! I AM THE POOPMASTER! that's a lot of fun and very satisfying that the poops appear on the targets where you hit them!
very cool! wish I could shoot back :)
please dude separate files for each of these things!
nice game, and impressive for a compo entry! hard mode was a bit brutal :)
wow this game plays amazing, short and sweet, focused, tight controls, variety of enemy, bangin' soundtrack, the perfect jam game, this is the first one I've gone back to after completing to find the secret area, top work!
business advice: answer your phone from the other side of the table to double your productivity! ...or better yet get a handsfree headset! maybe that could be upgrades you could buy? great game, has a real one more go factor
first game I pick to review and it's gonna make everything else look like poop! top work!
Dark!! I enjoyed that a lot, very atmospheric
that was a real treat, thankyou!
Very cool! love the stylised shader and its a great concept, the controls are fine, my only complaint is the game loop relies a bit too much on trial and error, e.g. level 2; the huge jump it took _many_ goes to find the right position for the ramp, maybe the camera angle could adjust to give you an indication of where you have to go / how high etc. excellent entry!
nice concept would be cool to see a more complete experience!
@dexort don't withdraw it from the jam! what you've done is damn impressive for 72 hours! but do carry on working on it :)
my top score score: 9850! love the lo-fi stylings
Flour never spawned for me so couldn't get past level 4? the camera kinda works against you which is frustrating but it looks amazing!
I don't get how the zoomed in map helps you aim the cannon, i can't see where the planets on the zoomed in map are in the large one?? very brave making a game this complex in a jam!
Great world building! I think you're going for a Zachtronics feel, and you nailed the aesthetics, but they're fun because you automate stuff - with programs or whatever, this is typing things to make stuff happen and it's slow and fiddly... being able to scroll back the command line would be helpful maybe, mission two where I have to deliver 2 loads of drone parts by doing the same sequence twice is a bit of deal breaker for me. keep at it tho, it's got great potential!
omg those bats! it felt a little unfair how they'd all fly in at once after a cut scene... looks and sounds amazing top work!
147 on my first go! great little quiz, could maybe use some feedback when you get one wrong besides just a life disappearing
wow some of the puzzles were fiendishly tricky! nice work great atmosphere too!
hard game is hard! - the dark souls of delivery racing, love the concept!
11 liveries stolen! nice.
so atmospheric! nicely balanced and great fun
empty zip file is empty, can't review
I got stuck on a corner and can't move anymore stuck.png I think this'd work better on a touch device - playing with a mouse is giving me RSI, still it's a nice idea well executed!
interesting change of perspective!
yeah think you're missing some files here, can't rate your game :(
12 procedures! i am the abortion king w000! i think hiding the mouse was a mistake in my rapid clicking i frequently clicked outside the window, and in one case hit the close button...ooops!
I enjoyed that a lot, you should defo develop this further!
really needs a sound or effect you're taking hits
