I really like the graphics and the sound design is very immersive.

Cool graphics and catchy music, but the flying enemies were a bit annoying and I felt like the boss fight dragged on a little too long. It was neat to see a game with voice acting, though!
The boss took a bit too long imho, but otherwise it was pretty smooth. The graphics worked well, and the soundtrack/voice over was cool!
The boss was a bit hard, maybe the controls felt a bit floaty.

I really liked the look and sound of this game. The controls felt good. My one complaint is that the boss fight felt tedious. Also some stronger feedback for your bullets hitting the boss would be great for the game's feel.
Fantastic game, though I can't claim that I beat it. I fell through the map just before the end, when I tried to explore that way up at the beginning. Turns out walls are just a suggestion. Aside from that, it feels great to play. Some minor stuff like bullet kickback and the fact that you don't turn around while floating make up a great system that could host some more complex challenges.
Very nice art style! And it's cool to hear voice acting in a jam game. In addition to what others have said, the character getting stuck in the same direction for the entirety of the jump can lead to some annoying situations when fighting the flying bugs. Still, it was a cool experience and very well-made.
Pixel art is awesome! Mechanics are so cool and music is very great. Nice LD entry i like it!
The art and sound were so great! Really liked this game. There were some places to get stuck at, e.g. if you jump down at the beginning and then right, I couldnt really see where to proceed from there so just restarted the game.
That was really hard but I managed to get through it. My main critique is that I wish you could switch which way you're aiming when in the air

wow this game plays amazing, short and sweet, focused, tight controls, variety of enemy, bangin' soundtrack, the perfect jam game, this is the first one I've gone back to after completing to find the secret area, top work!
Really solid game, graphics and sounds are working well together. It feels great to play and feels very complete.
Flying enemies can be a bit too punishing imo, when it starts going wrong and they attack from an awkward angle, they hit you again and again.

Yooo love the mood and how tiny the character is. The art is really solid! It took me some time to kill the boss but once I did I thought I had to run to the right so I fell off the map HAHAHA Oh and I loved the cat pictures! Overall really cool game! I wish you could flip your character in the air faster but this is a solid game!

Really good game with nice visuals and great audio! The boss had a lot of health for my taste and could've used some more feedback on how much was left, at some point during the fight I thought there had to be another way to defeat it. The way back was quite nerve-wrecking, the flying enemies are pretty annoying, but in a nicely challenging way. Made it out just barely with one heart left and really enjoyed this!
That was so great ! Really impressive to get this much for a jam game. Reminded me of Super Metroid.

Shooting bullets in the conducts in the beginning was my only problem, as they are kinda big and for some reason on my first playthrough they wouldn't stay alive for more than a few frames, so I basically had to stuck the gun in the slug's mouth to deal damage haha.
I found the cat pictures immediately, but had to restart as without the jetpack getting back to the level wasn't possible heh, I did go back later to discover the last two pictures.
The boss was simple but it worked, learned the rhythm and managed to beat it without taking any damage.
It was fairly short but I enjoyed it quite a lot. Amazing game !
It looked and sounded great, but my first playthrough I fell into a pit and got immediately softlocked and had to restart, and then my second I just couldn't get very far before I died. I think this could be really great, just needs a bit better of a curve :)
amazing game with awesome art and music, very moody indeed, I don't know how you achieved the light in the riles, conduit said it's something to do with shader but I suspect it's something to do with sprite clipping as well? I never used game maker so I have no clue, but i was really amazed by that, the art is also pretty good, don't you think I missed the double moon at the start lol, my only issue was with the boss fight, it took a while and I was starting to think that I'm not supposed to be shooting it so I went to grab the hanging package and ended up dying, and you know that thing when you can almost beat a game first try then never reach that progress again? well that's what happened to me, I just kept dying by bees in the boss room, I wish I got to experience what's after but I had my fair share of fun for sure! really nice work, especially when you consider the time limits you had!

Things I liked: - Music and sound was well done. Loved the overall aesthetic and art too! - The bees gave me some problems at first, but I quickly learned how to deal with them. - I liked the gradual introduction of the jetpack upgrade. - Ending sequence was really cool and tense. - You had a boss sequence and cutscene!
Some critical feedback: - The lack of ability to turn mid-air was pretty frustrating. I learned to deal with it, but I think the game would be more fun if I had that ability. - The boss fight is too long. I caught on with how to kill it, but it was very tedious. It would also help if there was some indication of progress visually. - Cat Room was super fun to stumble upon, but without the jetpack it soft-locks you and need to restart the game. I was also hoping there'd be something in the ceiling room :p
Amazing overall presentation. I especially like the lighting effects. Platforming/shooting feels good. My only complaint is I fell down the hole at the start and had to restart the game. Well done!
Very nice game, graphics and sounds worked well together. I felt like a little bit more ambience would help (like footsteps with echo). Also, the flying enemies did not feel fair. Especially because they clipped through walls.
woah that was super rad! Short and sweet, but you managed to pack a lot of personality into it! The only improvements I could think is changing flying enemies a bit or maybe the terrain around the flying enemies so its easier to deal with them and they aren't in the walls as much where you cant kill them. The gun should also have a cooldown because I was able to kill the boss in like 3 cycles just pressing fire button as fast as I could xD (also ignored the flying enemy it spawns until the next laser starts)
Really solid entry!
