13230! Didn't find the notes out of sync, but sometimes I lost points for releasing slightly too late? Cool idea!

13230! Didn't find the notes out of sync, but sometimes I lost points for releasing slightly too late? Cool idea!
cool style. maybe the pacing was a bit slow
Nice one :)
cool graphic style! i wish there were at least slightly more reason to keep on exploring
I got to the underground maze, but probably didn't read the message right, so I got stuck there. Great game!
The graphics were cool, but felt like the music did not match the mood very good. And I only had dead ends on level too, did I miss something? Still a great entry.
great game! two minor things: - for me, it was a bit too easy - you could have added some (more) incentives to explore the maps
Cool, i like the nodding idea very much. Was that a mirror at the end?
nice, although I feel like the movement is very slow (despite upgrades). For a jam game, it's nicely done!
Hey and thanks everyone for your feedback!
@twigg @niklas-zhaga @profan @frnknstn @jujuformatic @edouardlapoire @anuke @junamai @edur @pineapplegladiator @monninen @metapoua @ardorugus @mr-forty-two We just put up a new version that fixes some issues and adds a new setting. This can be toggled via [N] (see description). We also included a windows build for those of you who had problems with the WebGL version.
As many of you mentioned the slow/sliding movement, we did not have time to fix that during the jam, but we addressed it in the new settings.
One of the ideas was to let the player find out what to do. I feel like it's kind of hard to find out because of the survival part and I agree that some more instructions would have been helpful. We added a few hints within the new setting, at least.
@rein @locustjin Since you've tested the game, we fixed the error (in a previous update) - although you probably didn't miss a lot, because the error only occured when one of the ressource bars went to 0.
@kepsert @tessahardin You should find some fish (or something to trade for fish) within the snow - there is also a visual clue for these. At the beginning, you can find the seal on the right, next to the igloo, but he might be already buried in snow.
@ardorugus We thought about making the soundtrack either more 'happy' or more 'sad/dark', but we (I) went with the latter because it fits the theme/story better
@lrvstudios Thank you! There actually were plans for some of these ideas (upgrades, for example), but they just did not make it into the game due to the lack of time. :(
Some improvement ideas: - The brain elements acting as end of level points were hard to distinguish at first - I feel like the double-jump was not intended - Had the feeling there was story missing at the end - The game over messages was not accurate ;) - The game elements weren't obvious (the first time I reached a checkpoint I thought it is a portal)
In the end, it was a really cool game, especially a nice take on the theme.
interesting concept :) although I felt like you could have highlighted when the player uses digits that aren't available (anymore)
Well game :) I feel like the progression was too fast towards the end ;)
cool and well executed idea. I feel like it's a good idea to restrict movement when you use the camera. Only at some points more or less animals were found in the picture - but then again, you just have to move and find a better position/angle. Nice!
fun game, I especially like that you can lure the enemies into the mines. It seems pretty balanced, too :)
very cool idea, graphics are great! Just one minor thing, are the colliders still being in the office room in the last iteration intentional or a bug?
I managed to get the money and I even switched two laptops :smiling_imp: I only feel like I missed a puzzle (the board on the first floor). You could have also used the light pattern of the building for another one ;) Cool style, graphics, and music, great entry!
cool entry, I like the jumping mechanic and the story/mood is very cool. I only feel like the graphics could be more... defined?
Funny idea. Wish there were a bit more progress within the game
like the vibe, but I went through the second and third level only by killing the bosses. But the mechanics were actually pretty solid
Cool idea, but I found it a bit too slow/hard to move.
I liked the game, but at one point I found it too hard/tiring to find the next stars (and did not find any more survivors). I'd like some speed upgrades in the end :) Also cool music!
interesting, (and somehow balanced) game idea - and a time waster ;)
Cool idea! Theres a bug where you only keep on drawing buggy white cards. Also, i wish i could go backwards (on the map), but I think it fits the theme of going deeper and deeper
what a game :D funny reuse of mechanics (liana under water, for example) - only 3d is confusing sometimes
I think there might be a bug when dragging equipment somewhere else it gets lost? Fun idea, and an interesting 'level' approach
cool idea, and looks nice :) I didn't get that the boost key is [space] at first (I should have read the description tho)
I feel like the controls are pretty good, I only feel like tanks are op (shoot through walls and also saw some spawn next to me at the beginning of the level)
weird, but kinda interesting mechanics - the idea making the bubbles bounce to another side is cool (but did not always work)
I didn't get the concept first (did not read everything here), but when I found out that I can collect the trash and where to sell them, it made more sense. Keep it up!
fun idea, liked the game. I burned a lot of money in the beginning because I accidentily traveled back because I didn't know what to do and clicked the spaceship
Once I've got to how to use the attack mechanic (like a shield), I got further down. Feel like the soundtrack sounded too random, tho. I think the idea is cool, keep it up!
things i liked - the toilet scene - barrels were more dangerous than the enemies (but I only got to the 180s room, don't know about the rest of the game) - the movement animation could've also been a dance
but mostly - the barrels hit effect
great game!
cool game! it is not easy to match the landing with the beat, especially with the (relatively) slow gravity. In other games you often have to match the start of the jump with the music, that confused me first, too. Nice one, still!
I like the concept, especially the 2.5?D is really interesting! I feel like it needs some purpose, but you got a cool approach there!
I think it need some balancing (the spike monsters were mean), but all in all better than I expected in the beginning :)
"Nice curves"? "Good lenght" (sic)? what are you trying to tell me? ;) Great idea, and I like that the roots 'search' for the nearest energy!
I like the quotes idea, but I had no time to read them... Depth: 648... Thats not deep enough! :)
The combination of trying to get the upgrades, avoiding obstacles, and using powerups at the right is actually quite challenging and fun! I feel like you it would be a bit more balanced if you wouldn't die by touching stones from the side. Nice tho!
a bit repetetive, but cool graphics!
Cool game, especially the attack = brake idea is interesting :)
Simple, but cool game! made it to 124s - but only because I found out you could go diagonal for the same cost by pressing both buttons at the same time. Bug or a feature?
nice assets and an interesting idea. I found it a little confusing trying to make out what is currently needed and how to find the right balance
cool graphics and well-defined controls. also an interesting take on the pacing!
its actually pretty hard trying to drive backwards and kicking the sheep out... I did not make it :(
cool idea, I didn't last very long, sadly. I think there was a bug with using doors, it only worked a few times
nice mechanics & graphics here! keep it up!
I did not expect a round-based battle until it started. The musical sounds were cool, but at a certain point they became a bit annoying. Still a cool entry!
The puzzles could have been a bit harder imho. great idea, cool graphics, nice sound tho. I wish there was an ending screen.
great idea, seems really polished! wish there were more levels
the graphics and the idea are pretty cool. The camera was a bit annoying, and I just won the game by jumping on top of a table and pulling it up. But overall, a pretty cool entry!
what do cacti have that i don't? :(
cool entry, I almost finished it but always reached the wrong side of the house. Key seems to be to drive diagonally as long as possible
great visuals!
cool idea, but its really hard to react to the patiens needs - i also had the feeling nothing I do really helps. But at least I always have enough beds to take in new patiets^^
cool concept. it would be more intersting if there was another mechanic so its not only about the right time to stop doing tasks and start buying items
Simplistic, but fun :)
cool game! the mix of different mechanics is pretty cool, you really have to plan your actions. I also like the possibility to UNDO.
nice idea! I love how got up like 3 floors and than somehow managed to get back to the beginning just to start again
it feels too easy, because you can just drag the blocks to the side to destroy other blocks. I did have a fun time trying to figure out the mechanics
not sure if its supposed to be like this, but the stacking frames look buggy. The Balancing upwards is cool, maybe an improvement would be to somehow prohibit players from building one flat floor after another
the concept is cool, wish you would have built upon the state mechanic
cool take on the unstable theme. i agree on the slightly creepy feeling, but it makes it more interesting ;)
aah didn't actually expect something to be there! nice atmosphere!
I like the mood and the graphics, but I feel like I didn't get what the overall goal is
thanks for you feedback everyone!
@d3kryption there should be a warning visible in the instruction screen if no microphone was found - if a microphone is found when the game starts, you can also hear yourself & see visual feedback. otherwise, you might want to check your systems settings for the microphone
@itzemii thanks! the initial idea was to use different pitches of the voice to go left/right, but it was too difficult to use, so we simplified it. (I could think of 1-2 other possibilities, but you can only do so much in a gamejam)
cool idea :) I played it longer than I thought I would. 1-2 more elements might have made it even more interesting
the drawings were nice, but the gameplay could be a little bit smoother. Nice entry, especially in terms of the story
great idea, and the graphics and sounds are really fun :)
The setting is quite random, but I somehow like the idea
I have no idea what I'm doing. I shouldn't be doing this
although the gameplay feels a bit raw, the gameplay was quite interesting. I also liked the graphical style!
there were some great mechanics in there I did not expect. Also, it seemed pretty balanced to me. Nice job!
okay kevin I think you have had enough pie and cookies now!
wtf.. at least I got a score of two! :) although I'm not sure if its still a deer or rather a 4-legged spider I'm trying to control
I actually did not get why there was an asteroid view :( it was interesting to see but you could also just launch a lot of asteroids and some would hit the planet.
so I am a lizard trying to jump between flying plates over the heads of huge wizards walking through a river of poison?
well, okay I guess
cool idea with a lot potential. Some indicators for where to put the units would have been nice
I love the style and the voice acting - it really brings out the most incompetent student in me! The controls could be a little bit clearer
interesting concept. you can actually terraform using rmb, to extend the 6 directions where the lava has to flow (before it erupts).
it also has nice graphics and a soundtrack that fits
the graphics and mechanics are pretty cool and you can actually get used to flying this. I only felt like the levels were sometimes more like sandbox/test scenes
the intro was on point, it has a nice concept, and it was harder than I thought :)
cool graphics, but I felt like it could've been better with more players :O
I think I really would have liked it if there were more elements in the game. Other than that, a nice entry, I especially like the rope mechanics.
short, but actually pretty polished. i had to use two hands, which might have been easier if the weren't as close together. I also liked the endings. Nice!
cool idea, you got a lot of functionality in there! A zoom out functionality would have been nice :)
interesting take on the balance idea - so the cat only eats where the newest can is spawned?
I also like the graphical style, it fits the setting :)
i like the atmosphere and the setting. The only thing I would change is the size of the levels or the walking speed - it kind of drags the gameplay. Everything else was great, though :)
interesting game, I especially liked the graphics. I only found the difficulty jump after like 5 minigames to big. Great entry anyways!
so, you try to avoid the barricades, but then you need to hit them? this is pretty nice
I didn't perform very well, I had to redo the second level 3 times because I did not find the end. Like the ending.
Maybe it works better if I'm in the right state of mind..
great entry! :) there were a few minor bugs with the ui, but the idea is really cool! I also like the graphics
nice game, everything was nicely implemented. I was actually surprised I won the game, I thought it might be an infinite work thing
wow. First of all: who is drunk, the driver or the children? apart from frame drops and some key issues (don't use the W button, use the UP Button - I spend too much time trying to drive backwards), it was pretty cool!
although it seems unpolished, the mechanics work, and it is quite challenging. I also like the setting, it creates a nice mood.
cool soundtrack, great idea. the tool pickup sometimes interfered with the shaving mechanic, but it was only a minor issue
the unstable floor along with increasing number of enemies makes it pretty difficult - maybe it could be an improvement to make the floor regenerate over time?
nice idea, I liked the cards! I wish there was more variety, but for a gamejam its pretty good! :)
28.92s. Why does it think so much when it finally decides just to ignore my structures
what a unique idea :) i didnt get where the shop was at first, but then everything was working out great :) (my home is safe)
cool idea, I like the take on the theme. Also, the music is cool :)
34205 Style points! :) this is really a nice entry! Maybe it would be cool to make the correct key presses in a combo progress a single animation
looks great, but I think the dialogues could have been more helpful. Also I felt like there was not a lot to do
cool game, like the thoughtful hints. I couldnt find the last 1-2 flowers (might've found one, but could not get to it?)
Nice entry :) I like the use of the background, and the music (+shoot synch) was cool too :)
so, I threw a lot of words at a bar, but it kept coming down :(
I don't know how you got to this setting, but its actually a fun idea. didnt get to finish it though, always lost too much stamina
the drawings are pretty neat :)
the gameplay itself is pretty polished, and I also like the art and audio :)
nice gameplay :) pretty well done for a jam game!
so, I started the game without reading the story first. I had no idea what to do, so I thought I should throw everything from the ship as fast as possible. Maybe throwing down the people was not very nice.. After some tries, I've even made it... "Nobody people died[...]" Great idea, well executed :)
nice artstyle and vibe, i made it until ~23000 ;)
Cool game, although there was no time to pick up - this probably didnt make it into the game.
cool idea, i like how far you got over the weekend :)
I like the premise of the game, also, is it bad that I rather did the stuff that filled the meter?
the story is pretty fun, the game itself is pretty simple but the idea is nice :)
cool concept, and theres quite some different mechanics in there. Nice!
Nice concept and good implementation. The final boss seemed a bit too easy. Still, I really enjoyed this one!
the level switching idea is very cool!
the premise is pretty fun, and also scary (as is the street layout). Liked the start screen! I noticed that the framerate + music speed sometimes had hiccups, but maybe thats just me.
what an interesting mix of genres. Feel like the slashes could use better feedback, but the 10 seconds cooking idea is good :)
played it in 2-player mode. Great vibe, it takes a bit to get used to it and I wish there was a progression in there (earn money to get upgrades like milk). Nice entry!
@schadocalex yes, we've tried the first and second one. Its totally fine that you stayed within that scope :) I suggested it because I felt a slow increase in recipes would be easier to handle.
Very cool game mechanics! Love the way you need to coordinate both types of spells, being able to rearrange and try it again makes it even better. Only wish there were more levels.
Great to finaly be able do something against pedestrians not wearing seatbelts! Hint: for hard mode, go upside down. Nice game, its really fun to chase the criminals!
fun, refreshing idea! I only encountered two different poses (4 with mirrored ones), are there more?
Cool idea, but its really hard to keep track with all the diseases, despite having the book to look up. Feels pretty polished, and the art is nice too!
this is nice, I restarted it a few times to check how to connect the different parts/conveyor belts correctly. Although its a 'simple' idea, it is pretty challenging with the time limit especially if you try to plan ahead for the next stage :)
I really like the concept, pretty nice to plan ahead and then see everything work out! More levels/bots would have been cool :)
wow, very nice game :) I feel like you really had a well-defined scope and you did a good job on balancing it!
This is nice, I just wish you could continue where you left of cracking the safes :)
Awesome game! Only a few sounds were kind of annoying sometimes. But I really had a lot of cool bandmates!
Cool to see you wrote the engine yourself. Did not last very long though, in the end I had trouble finding a water source :o
you put a lot of interesting attacks in there, the time component is cool too! Can you actually run out of time in the end fight?
Survived 38 Beats! Great concept, and you've got a nice soundtrack there :) The only issue I found was that its not clear why the workers move slowly sometimes. Is it something with the movement direction?
Its cool to create your very own bullet hell. Maybe it could be improved with an additional constraint (e.g. lose health if the bullets hit the heart)?
Very cool! especially that you did not actually use real seconds, but still implemented the theme! Good job!
nice idea. Wish the game was longer :)
Note: having a controller plugged in caused some movement issues for me. Unplugging fixed it. The idea is pretty nice, didn't see any other gravity inverting mechanic this LD yet. Especially in Level 3 though, I died a few times not knowing why. Still, you did quite a good job on the graphics and level design!
Cool entry :) its refreshing to comfort/cheer the minions up. The difficulty was nice, although the multi-jump in level 3 kind of made it more easy than level 2 for me^^
Seems to be working now. The idea is nice, you switch between being chased and being the hunter. Couldnt find more life after the first 2 rounds or so, so I only got to 22540 pts.
Very nice presentation, it was only sometimes not clear to me when to click (because it did some things automatically). Also the buildup was nice :)
Cool idea there! Sadly, the camera takes too long to adjust and I couldn't reach some of the platforms in level 2 (tried keyboard and controller). I like the soundtrack and the sfx style though :)
Even with the key lookup its difficult to pull of due to non-english layouts (Y<->Z switched) and unforgiving traps/enemies. Also found out you can sometimes keep jumping after touching collectibles. Spend way too much trying to beat the first level, but only got a score of 79 (not sure how close I was). All in all, great concept, nice visual style and a cool level design :)
wow, pretty stressful but its a nice idea :)
short but a really cool showcase of switching between 2d and 3d :)
I like the uplifting music and the gameplay, even though its "just" arranging burgers. Also, I'm hungry again now.
I love that you fart when the situation becomes tense :)
nice mood! could have been a bit longer, but the premise is refreshing and its a great setting :)
very nice :) it was already pointed out that you can draw anything, but its still a great game! if you would record the strokes, maybe you could take the vector angle and even the curve strength into account - just a thougth, not sure if that would work. All in all, a great entry! :)
1. *jumps over gap* 2. *realizes he didn't touch the ground all the time* 3. *falls*
the mechanic is great, though. Could not find out how to win the 4th (?) level, but maybe that was the end. Keep it up!
made it to 24 seconds :) its a fun little game that makes you want to survive as long as possible - nice!
fast-paced action - the controls are difficult to master, but it fits the style of the game
I'd like to know the story behind this one
Wow, 50 bars in level 3... that escalated quickly. This is a unique idea though, although I wish the UI was slightly more helpful and less conceiling.
Made it to the end! The colliders in the last level seem to be messed up. Cool entry though, its challenging to find the computers and avoid getting killed, too.
Very nice idea! The traps are pretty annoying together with the dropping framerate, and I had some issues with time freeze and the repeated movement. Other than that, its a really cool entry, nice visuals and a unique concept
@studiocherno yes, I believe its because of all the remainings from the cube (in the level with the ~5 paths with knifes where only one leads to the button)
Thank you for your feedback, everyone! @wheybags I've updated the description here to include a small explanation on how the batteries work. Unfortunately we did not have time to make a tutorial
nice! its getting harder and harder to keep up, but the vibe is nice. Also I should stop smoking every 10 seconds
What a unique idea. Seems like earth is going nowhere today :smiling_imp:
Nice mix between puzzle solving and storytelling :) You've incorporated the theme very well too.
Simple, but well done. Once I've got the idea, it was pretty fast, and I had no problems to keep it up. An improvement could be to add difficulty by needing to combine items/put them in the boxes in the right order or have different shaped boxes. Great entry :)
this is one of the more interesting uses of the theme - the idea that your cards change if you are not fast enough is nice. The game could be slightly more balanced (it seems easy once you figure it out)
interesting concept, it also means that you only have a limited amount of space to evade. it would be cool to have the movement randomized
Interesting idea! I couldnt figure out how to send the drinks to the plating (maybe because of the missing drinks), and scoring does not seem to work (yet). Had a lot of black patties  The graphics are pretty nice, the sounds fit as well.
The game has got a good action vibe to it, though it was a bit chaotic and I had problems with my mouse inverted (probably from turning more then 90° up/downwards). The 10 seconds timer fits the theme pretty good, would be nice if the enemies would hurt you though :)
great idea, cool use of the mechanic too! You did a good job on the level layout, too.
Took a bit to realize the gameplay mechanic. Then, it was really smooth :) There was a small bug with weird automatic switching witch back from the carriage to the other view, but I could resolve it by using one of the carriage buttons. Very chill atmosphere, and pretty nice that you have actually growing plants. Now I‘m sitting here, waiting for the money to come in for retiring :)
the graphics fit well together. nice seeing a different genre between all the crops-based games :)
Better than I first expected. the plot twist was great ;) something for easier harvesting wouldve been nice, maybe an upgrade for higher range etc.
Short but fun action shooter, nice vibes
very cool, especially the movement / polishing :)
Great one! except for the small things that seems like did not make it into the game, it looks really polished and it has a nice feel to it!
nice, the visuals work well and you have enough time to find out how the game works. Especially the balancing seems pretty good! keep it up!
the graphics are great, you have good voice acting, and it seems really polished to me. strong entry!
Got only 9 Baskets :O The graphic style is nice, it fits well together and it seems to be really polished. Good work!
I ended up in space more often than I should have :D not sure if you are supposed to bring only one thing back, because the ship was always happy when I returned, no matter how much/what I've collected. Definitely a cool first game :)
fun game! after getting hit by the storm, i could not access the map though. like the idea though, i mean who doesnt want to grow cannonball-seeds?
nice visuals, cool concept, and I also really liked the soundtrack! :)
Thank you everyone for your feedback!
@bloodfin @animatrix1490 @tildecat @tomate-salat @witchgf Thank you for pointing out the bugs (i.e. Music Layering, Web-Renderer, Volume-Slider,..) . We did not get to fix these during the jam, but there is a Post-Jam version on itch that covers these issues.
@craigalancarroll @itzemii having a bigger team did require some coordination, but we somehow managed it :)
@poietic-ruby What do you mean with introduction? The ~5 sentences in the description? ;)
@hmrpf Yes, the spawning was a bit buggy, we improved this in the Post-Jam version though
@tomate-salat I appreciate your input. Our approach was that you can't attack the gate yourself, but only your knights. Enemy knights and summons do have the same stats (I think), but the larger group usually wins.
@witchgf We did not get to do a tutorial ingame, but there are some Hints mentioned in the description. Holding E lets you recharge mana faster, for example
@starboihooch @smeljey @mololo you are right, if you ignore the knights after collecting your first souls, you can skip killing the knights. The postjam version tries to address this by adding a hint of progression over the course of multiple games in one session, as well as more defensive spawning behaviour.
@sevenzik glad to get feedback from someone who used the controller (we did not put a lot of effort in this since we tried to make the game work)
@100th-coin yes, you can die after you already won the game. This is also fixed in the post-jam version
Cool idea and great mood here! its definitely difficult to plant crops without dying because they also shoot me (maybe I've planted them on the wrong ground?) but its an interesting concept, this way you need to be careful. My browser wont let me continue playing when the second wave arrives, though, the framerate drops too much :( Great entry there!
the last one was actually a bit harder, had to retry several times to do it. Nice!
nice, I really like the replanting mechanic!
got a final score of 31 :) The graphics, the music and the gameplay go well together. You have to think about your positioning and when it makes sense to run. Maybe the attacking could be a bit less sluggish, but all in all it is well done.
took two tries to find the water^^ don't mess with the angry tomatoes!
in the end, it turned out to be a bit too unbalanced/easy, but it was a cool approach to farming as well as extending the idea of tower defense
it might have been good if you had more time to polish, but still a nice submission
nice take on the game of life. You really got to think about what you're doing, but its also nice to play around with it :)
aah, once I got the timing right, the controls were much more smooth and less teleporty :) I especially liked the art and the soundtrack (although I had to turn down the volume quickly) good job!
what an interesting idea :) definitely not easy to keep track on the branches, but then again you could just take care of 1-2 of them and let the rest do their thing. Maybe make the roots selectable via mouse would have been a viable option. Cool entry :)
I really like it, it has a great art style which goes well with the music :)
pretty good for a solo dev to do a stardew-valley like game with planting/growing mechanics within a jam. Keep it up!
cool idea! Unfortunately only got one of the godesses happy, but it was nice to figure out what might've went wrong for each goddess. Certainly a great entry, considering you did this for the compo :)
nice, although it gets difficult very soon if you died once or twice. i feel like it. Maybe there was another attack key I did not find? because otherwise hitting anything is hard.
I did not quite get the concept, but the idea of harvesting and building your robot was nice. Did not sure if I won, destroying the big one. It would be could if you needed to do a (tetris-like) arranging of the pieces you collect to add them to your stack. Keep it up!
cool idea, the mechanics are well-defined and polished. Nice that you had to check the stock market as well as the respective quality to see which organs should be harvested. Theres a little bug that you cant interact with the computer if you are too close to a tank, but thats not a big deal. great entry! :)
The Ludum Dare build does not work, but the one on itch does. i did not manage to jump over the enemies, so I could not collect enough scrap. Also I had a fun bug where I was hugged by two enemies, but did not die. Interesting concept though, keep going!
Wow. Harder than it looks. got only to wave 4 with score 3320. Solid game!
Very cool entry, the voice acting is nice! Although the gameplay itself was not very challenging, I do like story-focused games such as this one and I felt like you did a good job. Great!
I like that you had quite a different approach on harvesting. Some games I started had just people missing the same thing, so it was unwinable (if I didnt miss anything). Would also be cool if you sometimes had organ donors :) Overall, a great game imho!
The boss took a bit too long imho, but otherwise it was pretty smooth. The graphics worked well, and the soundtrack/voice over was cool!
Really cool concept! The hide-and-seek mechanic is implemented well, the learning curve is good, and once you've finished, you'll try again to find the people you've missed in the previous run. There were some minor graphical issues (hovering people, near plane clipping), but it didn't make the game any less fun! I only wish there was more to explore :) Good job!
wow, didnt know sorting boxes could be that much fun :D is there a way to remove packages except for the trucks?
hey there ;) nice game, wish there were more checkpoints so you didn't have to fly back the whole way, other than that the music and the art style was cool!
cool little game, the controls feel good, and the upgrade mechanic works fine. The cargo bug was mentioned already, but at least they run out of cargo, so you need to get to another station at some point ;)
Hey, cool to see another hoverboard game! :) The disk delivering/time mechanic is working great, although sometimes it took me a while to discover the next one. I really liked the idea of the balloons, the grappling mechanics work really nice as well. I felt like the turning was a little too fast, you can get used to it though - otherwise the controls felt pretty good. The graphics fit very well, and the cars were a fun idea as well. Good job!
Nice consistent style! Sometimes the enemies are grouping together so it becomes harder to evade, and the enemy hitboxes could be a bit smaller. On the other hand, thats probably on me since I only wanted to deliver as fast as possible and accelerated almost the whole time (at least I got the job). I'm not sure if it is intended to drive over the islands, but it was really fun. Great entry, and now I'm in the mood for a vacation! :)
very chill incremental game, I really like the mood. There were a few minor graphical bugs, but all in all it was a nice experience :)
its great to see a strategic game as entry here! It works pretty well, I think an improvement could be to select/hover over your troops and see their info/stats. Cool idea, fun entry :)
Cool game, the bot mechanics work pretty well. The door closes too slow currently, so I could run through without having to come back for a robot. The concept is pretty nice, and seeing how Sticky's special looks like I am really curious how the full game would look like. Great entry!
someone who designed the minimap was thinking of pizzas :)
aaah I knew driving was not my strength. But I at least didnt hit any person on my second try, I even made some money before falling into the water :D
This looks like an ambitious entry - to put all the mechanics and controls in there within the jam duration is a cool achievement though. It took me a bit to understand how the rails work, for the rest, the ingame tutorial helped a lot. The ingame graphics looks cool, only the resource hex surface seems to be a bit buggy to me and the ui was a bit rough sometimes. Definitely an interesting take on the delivery theme, well done!
Thanks for you feedback everyone! if you had trouble with left/right movement (like @codeforjoycaro , @rjdrag and @mlists ), its most likely due to a bug causing the steering to be slower at higher fps, which is fixed now in v1.2
@skleembof and @someone thanks to both of you for pointing this out. Without going into too much detail, the basic idea was to use jumps + slopes for building up speed, but since it didnt become very intuitive / clear, the boost mechanic was added on top. This also means that you can get a higher speed score if you try to build speed up without using boost first ;)
Great job on the atmosphere and the visuals - it would be cool if you could refill oxygen somewhere. Other than that, its a pretty nice entry
wow, pretty polished and a cool concept as well. It took me a bit to notice the color-coded packages, but then it worked out. Would have been cool to have a more customizable transporter (maybe even build your own), but thats probably out of scope for a jam game. Good job!
wow, difficult to play, but a cool concept and great presentation as well as fitting visuals. Apparently i am not a great stork though^^
Cool game! I couldn't understand the voice all the time, and it might have been good to give the player an incentive to catch (more dangerous) instead of evade and pick up, but these are just nitpicks. I liked the unique story, the overall mood that was not too serious and the concept of the game ;)
took me a bit to discover how things work, but it was a fun experience! Cool idea ;)
The graphic style is pretty nice, and the music fits as well. I feel it would have been cool to have a choice on which letter to pick up next. I also saw two types of mail boxes where I didn't see any letters that might've fit (the silver one and the worn out one). Still pretty cool, keep it up!
fun game! the visuals are quite good, and the story so far is nice as well. I feel like checkpoints would have been nice though. I'm also not quite a fan of the throw controls, at least the aiming could be based on the mouse position. That said, the polishing on the jumps, movement and physics is pretty neat!
very cool idea! sometimes absorbing / summoning feels imprecise due to the grid snapping. I'm also unsure if I like the current way the scoring is done - I think it favors good starting positions which are random. It might be cool if it gave increasing points if a sacrifice is made higher on the screen. But yeah, its a pretty well polished game, especially for compo. I also like the synergies between falling humans, absorbing and sacrificing. Well done!
Great artstyle! The music was pretty catching but I feel like it didnt quite hit the vibe of the game, but overall it was a pretty good presentation, good job!
cool idea! I feel like the summons could be more balanced, some feel weaker than others, and it would be nice if you could use the souls on near the walls. But overall a pretty fun game and a solid entry!
you've got a lot done for a 3 day jam! impressive! Only thing I'd suggest some way to regain mana faster. Also maybe the rotation bounds could be dropped somehow? ;) Sadly all chests I've found are empty. Does that mean the real youth potion was the adventure I was having?
wow thats a lot of summons you've put in there ;) it would be cool to have more variety of cards in the beginning, and sometimes I didn't get the contracts right although i thought it was correct. But overall, good job!
stunning visuals, and a cool idea. I just feel like the difficulty curve to survive is pretty steep in the end - at least I've managed to get 45 souls ;)
very cool style. I couldn't figure out the way after the tutorial level though, too many traps. It would be nice to see the traps once you hit one
What a cool concept! The presentation is pretty neat, the music fits.. I'm not entirely sure why there is a time limit, maybe to add some challenge? I also wish the summoning had more easter-eggs (e.g. summon people where they should not be) and maybe some way to replay? That said, are there any plans to make an extended version?
