Cool game. No-nonsense, straight to the action! And very polished too, good graphics, proper sounds, great weapon feel (depth charges ftw), and it even has an end boss with multiple stages, bravo!
It would be great to see a post-jam version with a bit more variety to the enemies, and a steeper difficulty curve.
Good job! I liked the graphics and being able to buy new weapons.
Nice game with a perfect presentation! I especially enjoyed how your score is represented as how deep you got as opposed to just a superficial number.
Really solid!
I like the weapon upgrades, the missiles felt responsive and packed a punch.
I love the water textures and red texture on loss.
Nothing really innovative here, but its executed tightly and it controls smoothly and thats not easy to pull off in such a short jam.
Nice work!
- I managed to click into the [I] menu and somehow flip the game state to be paused when out of the menu and active in the menu! not sure how I did it.

This was super fun, despite the simplicity of it. I really enjoyed the variety of weapons, though I found it a little too easy at the start. The difficulty ramped up nicely as it went, but I think a lot of the late-game is just spent burning the massive scrap reserves you accumulated early on in the name of hull repairs. Maybe that's intentional, though - who knows.
Either way, this was a fun one. Nice work!
Fun!
This was a fun little game! I didn't really find anything wrong with it. With a leaderboard and some more polish it could be a really fun little mobile game or something like that. Nice work!

That was a lot of fun, really well done. It would have been nice to have a few other options for upgrades, even something simple like heath or fire rate increase. I was able to get everything really quickly and so it was basically as if I just started with them. The boss at the end was cool but really easy, especially since you could just hold down both mouse buttons to fire both weapons continuously and then just wait in the middle of the screen firing down. Overall, great game though, loved the aesthetic and the music fit really well. Nice job!
Wow this game was excellent! Tons of fun. Upgrades to buy, multiple enemy types, and a boss! It looks great visually too and I'm a big fan of the explosion effect. I was really sold on the underwater feeling by the sound and the graphics.
I did notice a bug with the shop menu which is opened with the ( I ) key. If you hit escape to exit the shop it unpauses the game, but leaves the shop open and things get a bit funky. I also think it might have been a bit easy and maybe a bit long, But overall I loved it. One of my favorites so far! If i had to change it at all I would make it shorter but harder. Although I must say the meter rolling over to 9999 was a great touch that was what kept me going.
love the graphics and sound effects. It was really nice that the sub turned around instead of just flipping the sprite (which is what I did for my game did =P). didn't figure out there was an inventory until my second play through. also didn't figure out how to shoot missiles until the boss. I would like to see the enemy torpedoes be larger as well. music was good, mine explosion warp effect looked awesome. Congrats on the game!
Definitely a fun game! Graphics overall were excellent, but I'm particularly a fan of the bubbles. They really do a great job of both conveying the underwater feel as well as calling out the enemy movements.
I unfortunately managed to get into a buggy situation where the "w" key stopped working and I was no longer able to navigate the sub back up anymore (possibly from hitting escape when in the shop menu to try to close it?). Otherwise everything worked really well and I had a lot of fun with it. Nice work!
Pretty good game. I really enjoyed it. The only thing I'd like to add is difficulty options. It was fun but I never found myself about to die.
That was a very decent game! I'm 200% amazed at the kinestetics and the responsiveness. Everything felt really tight, it felt weighty and the sounds really added a punch.
I definitely missed some more things to buy... but that's something that can be added later, and the core is really good. Many kudos. Good job!

This is extraordinarily slick in terms of how it feels and controls.

The game itself was fun, but I did get stuck to the wall a few times. In the shop you should be able to upgrade stuff, like the sub gun. The torpedo did get stuck in a loop if not piloted properly. Otherwise, I really enjoyed the game. Nice work!
Great setup, I like the progression, and the boss was fun, if not super challenging. Well done!
I was impressed with how much time I could easily sink into this if it kept going past the first boss. The controls, animation, and enemy pacing all felt really tight and kept me in *the flow*. Well done.
I did found it a little easy, and that the middle of the game was actually harder than the final boss. The store operated for me as a short of *get out of jailed free card* because I was always able to have enough scrap to stay alive indefinitely, so long as I was fast on the **I** Key. Maybe the shop can only be accessed at certain depth ranges?
The guidance system for the torpedoes made them worse to use than the aqua rockets, but I will say those aqua rockets :rocket: were my jam. :ok_hand: I could see a lot of interesting weapons devised in a submarine game.
**Bug Report** Pressing ESC key while in the shop menu will unpause the game but not take you out of the shop leaving you blinded by the menu.
Thanks for the game!

There is a lot of things I've liked in this game, the sound effects are cool, the controls are so smooth and the weapons upgrades are really cool. Love the numbers animations also :D

Quite cool straight action game. I love how the submarine is yellow, has animated rotation, and bubbles are a nice touch. Music is very fitting. Painting "money" red was a strange choice (first instinct is to avoid red stuff) but I guess you needed some contrast to blue background and were running out of unique colors.
My only complaint is no checkpoints, being sent to start is a bit harsh for LD game where most players will want to explore levels (very nice atmospheric background change on going deeper btw) and often can't invest much time into the game. But that complaint is due to the fact that I liked the game very much.

Challenging, no time to rest but accessible, and artworks are polished, well done!
This is one of my favorite entries I've played this jam :) Really well polished, rewarding gameplay loop as your descending. I feel that the boss could have been made a bit more difficult relative to the rest of the descent, but really great job overall!

fun game, I especially like that you can lure the enemies into the mines. It seems pretty balanced, too :)

Bullet hell but with torpedoes, I like it! Thos smaller little pesky subs can go to the bottom of the ocean :) I really enjoyed this simple but really well made game. Well done!
