Excellent project. Looks like quite commercial. BTW on my computer, the rendering happens like this :smirk: Bug.jpg

substain 2021-10-05 13:09

not sure if its supposed to be like this, but the stacking frames look buggy. The Balancing upwards is cool, maybe an improvement would be to somehow prohibit players from building one flat floor after another

@evileptic @substain

Thank you for your feedback and for bringing this to our attention! We've uploaded a hotfix to address this.

I managed 158 floors. The balance mechanic felt a little weird, but the idea was solid, and cleanly executed in terms of style. Nice entry overall.

I think the graphics glitched for me as I kept seeing the previous attempt and it wouldn't leave unless I restarted. but overall it was pretty fun. I gave it a few attempts trying to balance my tower! :D nice job :)

@d3kryption Thanks for the feedback. Was this glitch on the "bugged on some computers" version or the "hotfix for some computers" version?

d3kryption 2021-10-06 18:52

@teo-miklethun erm.. honestly I didn't know there was another one. I did download it fairly early so I'm going to assume the bugged on some computers one. Thanks for fixing it! :)

This is really fun! By some very aggressive spamming I was able to get up to 450 floors and things starting getting pretty warped and weird looking. Maybe something like requiring a certain number of horizontal floors every so often could help calm down my up spam? I'm not sure if there's a solution but I felt dirty doing it. The balance meter was a really nice detail to keep me informed on what was happening, I think without that I'd have really struggled to gauge the motion as I built higher. Great work!

Cute and fun game! The visuals and music feel very nostalgic. If I had to be nitpicky, I'd say it does get repetitive a bit fast. I'd suggest maybe adding some kind of goal or a sense of progress. Great work nonetheless!

Very creative! Congrats for the great work!

A simple but surprisingly effective concept. After my first try I was like "ok, I saw the game" ... but I ended up retrying multiple times. So in the end, I would say that the fun factor is definitively here! Also, good scope for a jam. Nice work!
