The best sacrifice by Rodrigo Denúbila 2018-12-03T21:19:23Z
Great submission! Cool idea and very nice graphics! Although, camera controls are not very convenient on the top of the mountain.

Great submission! Cool idea and very nice graphics! Although, camera controls are not very convenient on the top of the mountain.
@rodrigo-denubila camera was stuck on top of the mountain in one position for some reason.
@rodrigo-denubila i tried to play again and I understood what's the problem exactly. I am playing the HTML5 version (Chrome, MacOS) and when mouse reaches screen border, camera stops moving (even in fullscreen mode).
@rodrigo-denubila It seems that the same problem happens for me in other Unity games. Probably some engine problem or OS issue.
I didn't understand how to drink fresh water from the inventory. Tried to drink sea water and Paula has died. So I had to eat her, muahahahaha.
Cool idea with the reverse metroidvania! 5/5 for innovation :)
In the web version message does not fit to the screen and it is impossible to start the game.

Wow, this is so great! Big thanks for the tutorial - it was really helpful. Music and graphics are awesome.
Man, this is awesome use of the theme, 100% fit! Also, the graphics is great and I really like the animal life voiceover. 10 monkeys of 10!
Nice idea, great graphics and amazing intro. There are some minor issues: audio is not synchronized with subtitles at the beginning, and also water doesn't have "water physics".
Great idea, cool graphics and fits theme perfectly :) Nice submission!
Awesome music and graphics, very nice gameplay and you can sacrifice yourself. Great work!
This is so awesome. And very philosophical in the end :) Sacrifice yourself for your boss to enjoy his life. I enjoyed playing it, thanks for the game!
Awesome. Did my best to upset the community.
This is so awesome. The idea, graphics and, especially, sound is so great. I really like this submission.
I like how the world is implemented. But I didn't understand how to play: I have found the orb, but what's next? Where is the fuel? It would be nice if you had a little more information in the description.
Very nice idea, great graphics, but controls are not "little tricky", they are completely crazy.
Awesome graphics and nice game mechanics. Very fun to play!
Awesome puzzle game. Very addictive, you can't stop playing :) Nice twist on the theme! Laser guy is really annoying, but it is makes you so happy when you avoid him in a difficult situation.
Nice use of theme. Dodging mechanic improves gameplay a lot. Graphics can be improved though. It would be nice if characters had at least simple walk animation. Good job!
Graphics looks good and gameplay is interesting. Good job!
This is the funniest game of this LD :) Especially fun to watch at streams. Great job!
Graphics in this game is incredibly amazing! Also the puzzle elements are really cool. I really like how all the animals behave and how they was used to create great puzzles. Cat is perfectly animated and petting the animal after completing the level is sooooo cute! This is awesome submission!
Great game, but for some reason I didn't get contracts for "green", and my red resources depleted too fast. I really like the idea and graphics is amazing. Great job!
Incredible submission! Art is amazing, monsters are awesome. And I really enjoyed that sound when you are killing a robot :)
This is really cool zombie simulator! I never though before how difficult it is to be a zombie, when you have to continuously eat fresh brains or you'll die. This submission is amazing, really cool art and nice twist on the theme. Great job!
I have enjoyed the game, though it gets repetitive. It would be nice to have different enemies and weapons. When you die, you realize that money you thought you collected were actually a price for your head :) Nice twist :)
This is hilarious! Enemies are awesome and make me totally rofl. The screaming guy reminds me of Serious Sam. Gameplay is very dynamic and addictive. Awesome work, guys!!
This is really nice interpretation of Tower Defence. Graphics is awesome. The game feels complete and I enjoyed playing it.
I really like the way Stanley was drawn and animated :) Great job!
Nice game but took some time for me to understand how to play. After that I have enjoyed playing. Graphics is cool and I like how it fits the theme.
We wanted to see how far one can go with using only free assets from the Unity store. And I would say that was a challenge. I totally agree that the result is Frankenstein-looking, but hey, I hope you at least enjoyed trying to play it and the weird graphics didn't make you sick :)
We wasn't able to balance the game properly though before the end of the jam. So if you enjoyed the gameplay, come back in a day or two and we hopefully will publish an update with a much more interesting gameplay and more features (critical attack and weapon effects are still missing from the game, for example).
Have a nice day :)
@ausstein Thanks for pointing that out! We'll fix it. In the mean time you can drag scrollable area with a mouse.
@josehzz Nice idea, we didn't think about it, but it sounds like it may really help. Thanks for idea!
@maakole Its disappointing that you had a glitch :( If you can give more details at what moment that happened (which map, was it your move or enemy move, was the inventory open), we could try to track down that bug and fix it. Anyway, I am glad that you loved the game!
@maakole Thanks for the detailed description. I am not sure what caused that, but I'll double check the code with your information in mind, maybe I could find something.
@tinykidtoo Was it original version or the post-jam one? We didn’t have time to balance the original one before end, so its balance is crazy. In v2 first battle is a tutorial and should be always passable (damage was tweaked to specific values), though of course there could be bugs.
@bustosman Thanks for the feedback! It is intended that enemies become stronger, so that you have to upgrade your weapons. Indeed we missed the point that you can't upgrade after death and so you get stuck in an endless dying loop. We will think how to improve this.
@gurkenlabs Thank you for playing our game and for your feedback!
We want to continue developing the game and we are going to do some work on the graphics. It would be great to know at this point what we could improve. Can you please tell us what in the graphics made you feel horrible? Is it the fact that assets we used have different style? Or do you feel that assets are of low quality? Weak textures? Bad lighting? Maybe too lowpoly or too highpoly? Or was it how the characters, environment, weapons, etc. look? Maybe you feel that UI could be better?
We would be very happy if you could give us some more details so we know how to improve the graphics.
Nice game. Graphics, even though looks simple, is actually very good. A lot of effort has been put into the robot. And I like the wheat/energy/toast/life cycle. Fits theme very well.
Nice game, cool visual effects.
Hey, very nice roguelike! Great graphics and lovely enemies (especially liked the one that looks like Cacodemon). Small detail: clickable areas for menu items are off for my screen resolution, maybe you want to fix that.
Btw, thanks for playing our game on the stream, that was awesome :)
I am in total love with the sound effects! Also gameplay is nice and addictive. Great job!
This is really cool idea, although the game is quite difficult to play. Or is it just me? Anyway, I enjoyed stealing fellow humans and transforming them into cocktails for the sake of getting more fuel :)
Very nice pixel art and I really like the idea of deciding if person should live or die :) Perfect fit for the theme. Though platforming makes it a bit complicated to play.
Cool idea and nice way to learn the language. I like it! It could be great to offer a choice of real-word languages. Would be an awesome learning tool!
Great work! Cool gameplay, nice graphics. As it has already been pointed out, it feels weird having diagonal-looking characters in this vertical-horizontal world. Also, I would prefer not to have movement of camera when switching between rooms - I think immediate switch would be better, otherwise it distracts you. And I suggest to add some global map to help navigate between rooms.
Hahaha, very fun! It would be cool to have WASD or arrow keys controls but otherwise the game is great!
Funny game! I didn't understand at first that cops are undressing you back and was wondering why am I losing my clothes :) Thought that they are just wearing a kind of outfit. I enjoyed playing the game - cool idea and great implementation!
@ryano Thanks ! Oh, yes, those mouse-keyboard-mouse switch is annoying. The controls were coded on an as-needed basis, so they are not consistent, unfortunately. But I tend to believe that it also simulates the fact that its not effortless to take an elixir out of the pocket during the battle and drink, isn't it :)
@Wolfrug Thanks for the great feedback! No, upgrading Tower unfortunately does nothing, we had to feature-cut that to fit into the deadline. We also planned to have different weapons and more recipes, and we wanted to have sounds and music...
@Tannimun Yeah, running for life proves to be useful. I think that's the only way to actually complete the game (Yes, you can beat it if you try hard).
@agrdev Yes, the knight is overpowered. We didn't have enough time to balance game properly so its quite tough to play. But it has been discovered by other players that the "run-and-heal-often" strategy can be used to complete the game. Thanks for playing!
@Avon Thanks for playing! Hmm, strange error. Could you please tell what was the OS and the browser you were using?
@kooshy Thanks for such a detailed feedback!
Indeed game has some balance problems. Guards were added to the game pretty close to the end of the jam and they are overpowered. Currently the only reasonable strategy is to run away from them, but that wasn't intended.
We planned to have weapons upgrade but didn't have time to put it in. Still there is some progression: you get a bit stronger after completing each level. But compared to the overpowered enemies this is negligible.
Its good to hear that even unbalanced game was fun to play for you :)
Wow, the story is so non-linear! I tried to play all the combinations and enjoyed it. Great humor, awesome submission! И клево, что есть русская локализация! :)
Game is very fun and I like the animations of the horse :) Controls are a bit hard for me, so I found myself in a situation where I run shooting all over the field to the end, kill enemies there, collect the booze, and run all through field back without doing anything with the in-between guys. And enemies were spawning quite fast so those middle guys were killing me :) I really enjoyed playing your game, I like its mechanics. Great work!
I really like how use the ASCII graphics here.
Nice submission, but really hard to play. Also bugs are a bit disappointing. Maybe submit a bugfix? It is allowed by the rules...
This is a really cool idea! I like how you combine the elements and progress life on this flat planet.
Whoa! I did it, I completed it! Cool game, enjoyed playing it! Here is a playthrough video (SPOILERS ALERT):
https://youtu.be/rVob-4O2EpU
@LoneWolfDef Oh sorry I have found a bug probably :) I noticed later that breaking water fountain in the big hall calls out the janitor, but leave-through-the-door was the first strategy I have discovered (was thinking about the "principal looks over the door" thingie and tried to interact with it and, well, passed through :).
Anyway it was very enjoyable to try to beat it, it took me tens of retries :) Really enjoyed the live world, 100% immersion :)
Fun game and good graphics. I had some graphics glitch (at some vertical positions there was a one-pixel horizontal bar under some tiles), but that was not a big deal. It would be also cool to have a parallax effect for background trees. Interesting submission!
Nice game! Motion blur seems pretty strong. Maybe not completely remove it as suggested in the comments above, but at least it should be less strong. Also I had hard time finding a weapon and, when found it, had only about 10 shots. This is not that fun :) I suggest putting out more ammo and weapons to be found. Great job, enjoyed playing the game!
Very funny game! I like the mouth-shaped enemy. Fun simple action with interesting twist on how you attack enemies. I would like to have more health though, it seems that I am dying from a first hit.
Cool and unique gameplay! Wasn't too challenging for me though, maybe add more monsters? There is a strange behaviour when you try to jump very close to a box the hero just rotates in place -- you have to get back a bit and jump again. I enjoyed playing the game!
I really like the idea of invisible walls that you can uncover by shooting. And graphics looks so great! Great submission!
Nice game! Simple but fun. I had a small glitch in WebGL version which looks like horizontal 1-pixel seams between separate planes appear and disappear while driving. Enjoyed playing the game!
Interesting game, though quite difficult :) I couldn't survive more than 3-5 waves of enemies (4 years 8 months is my top score) whatever strategy I did try. Anyway, I really like the idea and the implementation. Great job!
Well done game! It could be a little bit more dynamic in my opinion. Also it would be cool to have a multiplayer, but I suppose that's too much to ask from a jam game :) Great submission!
HealtNotFoundException, yay! As a fellow programmer I really like your take on the theme :) Cool graphics, nice audio! Enjoyed playing your game, thanks for submitting it!
This is definitely one of the best entries of LD45! I really enjoyed it, puzzles in the last level are very tough. Graphics is superawesome! Music sets the great mood!
Nice short game! Really enjoyed the "setting', reminds me of myself a bit :)
Nice game! Graphics is very good, I like it! What I noticed is that when enemies attack you, they stop too far away, so your attacks do not reach them. You have to push yourself forward to them to make attacks actually work.
Also having a WebGL build would be nice.
Wow, cool graphics! It would be great to have the game a bit longer (for example, just add more encounters of the same enemies). Also, I think cooldown for enemies after attack should be a bit shorter. I really enjoyed playing this game.
Those slimes look so peaceful... Until they hit you hard. I like how the swords roll around :) Graphics is simple but cool. Great job!
Awesome graphics! Game looks very polished! Levels are challenging but you can beat them after a bit of dying :) I like what creatures say, especially the poor porcupine at the bottom of the pit. Also I like the idea of birds making poo when you run underneath. My only suggestion is to make those birds pigeons :) Great submission!
@haoro > just before the heart touch your character, it’ll do a weird moment and go on the right on down
Well, not originally intended, but that's how physics behave. Didn't have time to tweak it before the deadline.
@amkingtrp Indeed, didn't have enough time to polish the tutorial. For us it was not such confusing, probably because we already knew what to do :) Will learn for the future.
Thank you guys for playing our game!
@samuel-hollywood-summers Thanks for the note on the sounds. I will add the fades next time. I am just an amateur user of Audacity with a crappy Mic :) Sorry for the unskippable intro part, I know its frustrating...
@battlecat The game mechanics were inspired by the Earth Worm Jim 2's "Puppy Love" levels. But yeah, we tried to reproduce this retro style and complexity :) The body parts sometimes fly the wrong way and game requires pixel perfectness. Definitely not perfect level design, but I never designed platformer levels before and also I had a very tight deadline. I triple checked all the levels for being able to complete and made the walkthrough videos, but yes, it took about hundred attempts to get it right :-|
@nachodiv Sorry for the unskippable intro :(
@polyducks Thanks for the tutorial link!
I am glad that videos were useful to you to see the rest of the game. Indeed, the gameplay went more complicated than we anticipated, partly because of a bit buggy physics.
@skico Sorry to hear that it crashed for you :( Was it a Windows or Browser build?
@drums @fancyreckless I am happy that you liked the game in general. Thanks for the feedback and sorry for weird physics behavior (which makes the game so difficult to play). And for the unskippable intro :(
@skico Thanks for the info!
@studiocurtis Thanks a lot for the feedback! Indeed, the game turned out much more difficult to play than we expected. Also, the necessity to repeat the intro is an unfortunate consequence of a tight deadline...
Game is very polished. Explosions and car damage add so much juice to the game.
Its a bit disappointing that gameplay is repetitive.
Great submission!
@heho Haha indeed the bosses are easy. We made them in the last hours and didn't have time to polish. I hope they were still fun to fight with :D
@johnsensei Thanks for playing! It was made with C++ and SDL2. Windows build lets you play fullscreen.
Some rooms are dead ends - entering some doors return you to the same room. The map is a maze, if you find a dead end, you have to backtrack and try another door with a look. As in any branch, you may have to backtrack more than one room. You can check map in the menu (ESC key).
If you are on the right path, then ultimately you will meet three bosses and find an artifact to win the game :) You don't have to backtrack through boss rooms, they always are on the correct path (although sometimes there are multiple exits from boss room itself).
@essarrgee
> moving diagonally is faster than moving horizontally or vertically.
Haha indeed, I should have normalized the direction vector :D Thanks for pointing it out!
@unimaginable-code-studios I am sorry it didn't work properly for you. There shouldn't be any lags. Could you give some details? Did you play Windows version or HTML5? What OS and browser do you have?
@cookienoir Sorry you couldn't complete the game. Maze generator is not polished enough and sometimes it doesn't give you rooms with enough ammo. But you can always return to previous rooms and kill some monsters -- they respawn each time you enter the room and they can drop different types of ammo.
Thanks for reporting the bug! I am really surprised though -- we don't even have white lock sprite in the assets :D I will try to reproduce it. Could be some occasional invalid memory write `¯\_(ツ)_/¯`
I am glad you still was able to enjoy the game. Thanks for playing!
Awesome submission! Really cool puzzle mechanics. A bit difficult to get used to it first, but when you understand it, its very interesting to play. Graphics is amazing. Frog sound effects are top notch! Best game I played on this LD so far :D
Hahaha. Nice small stealth game! I like the effect when enemy finds you and you transform into bones :)
Intersting game with simple mechanic. I enjoyed playing it. It would be very cool to have some animation when you deliver the goods - I really missed that. There is a sound effect, but visual effect would also be nice to have. Great job!
Cool stylized graphics, great trading gameplay. Music fits the game perfectly. Nice job!
This. Is. Awesome.
I have a hamster at home and he does the same wheel run every night. Is he trying to become a hamsternaut?
This game made me laugh! Perfect fit for the theme, awesome humor. And the "Hamster!" sound. You made my day. Thanks for making and submitting this game!
Hahaha cool idea! Great graphics and nice sound! On the other hand, camera movement is very inconvenient for me and I really dislike it. It would be better if it was more smooth. Also, it would be great to spawn at different parts of the level, so you would see your past selves coming on you, not all from the same point.
There is already a lot of comments mentioning Portal and definitely this game has a lot of Portal vibes in it. It would be a great reference to have companion cube and cake in the game. Oh, wait, cake is a lie...
So, nice idea, great puzzle, intersting mechanics. Great job!
Nice game! For me the player moves too fast, I expected it to be a bit slower. Also, I was surprised that jump is done by Up Arrow. I would expect a Space, for example. Thanks for including the controls hint at the game start though :)
Nice small game :) It was fun throwing stuff around to hide illegal items. I think the items themselves could be more funny (definitely, rocket launcher is a good illegal item, but notebook is boring). The gameplay gets repetitive quite fast, staying in the same room. Having multiple rooms, or at least bot spawning at different points, would be great addition.
Haha nice twist on the theme! It would be nice if when you fail the game showed you the correct layout. Also it was not obvious that you have to memorize two layouts before starting the game.
Hey! Thanks for sending us this game to play on stream!
I enjoyed playing this game! Its nice that you can try running both on inside and on the outside. The leaderboard is a nice addition. Its a pity I couldn't reach the 1st place, I will definitely try again when I'll be fresh :) Its also cool that everything is made procedurally.
Here is a timed link for the stream: https://youtu.be/vC17EaL3CcI?t=6659
Its cool you have made a game for the ZX Spectrum computer! Great work!
@y4nnick In the third level, you have to bring box out of the room before eating apple and use it to press the button. If you forget to free the box before pressing the button, you have to restart the level :) Thanks for playing :)
@cloakedninjas Be careful :)))
@slingshot @milorehm @mighty-mufflon-games @heremeus Thanks for playing! I am glad you liked the game :)
@almgru Thanks for playing! That's exactly the feeling we wanted to create at the end of the game.
@vrerabek We kinda wanted to make death in the game remarkable... Don't be devastated though. The real Oleg is alive and enjoying his seeds in a safe environment :)
@amar-ravi Thanks for the feedback! Indeed, collisions should be improved. If we decide to make a post-jam version, that's the first thing we are going to work on. The other points you mentioned need some polishing as well.
@bqq @dorkulon @treslapin Thanks for playing! Its great you enjoyed the game.
@miqra Yeah we kinda had this idea of making people feel bad if hamster dies.
@spadekhemoglobiny Thanks for the feedback. Having UI for controls is an interesting idea.
Hey! Thanks for sending us the game to play on stream!
This game has AWESOME aestetics and graphics style.
The only downside is the controls. For some reason shooting up-left didn't work for me (while shooting up-right did ). Also sometimes collisions took two hears instead of one which was a bit frustrating.
Its super great that you have made multiple stages with different styles and different enemies! Also its awesome you had bosses (though to be honest they were quite easy, much easier than normal rooms :) I had fun playing your game and I am happy I was able to finish it :)
Great work, keep up!

Hey! Thanks for sending your game to us to play on stream!
This was fun small game! Cows are super cute  I really liked this UFO ray mechanic. It would be nice addition to be able to throw some objects to the UFO to temporarily block the ray.
My stats: time 468.02s, 17 restarts.

Hey! Thanks for submitting the game for us to play on the stream!
I really enjoyed playing this one, it was extremely fun! It's cool that you can try different configurations of the submarine and have fun with each other!
I missed having bubbles (or any other particle effect) from the engines that were active when I press the button. Sometimes its difficult to remember which buttons are assigned to which side, especially when your submarine is rotating :) Also it would be great to be able to shift submarine in the editor (e.g. having a button to shift left, shift right, etc.) so that it would be easier to edit your submarine.
Great submission! Definitely 5/5 for fun and for theme, at least!
Here is a timed link to the stream: https://youtu.be/vC17EaL3CcI?t=3382
Haha, nice game! I managed to escape the minotaur multiple times, but then he got me caught in the long corridor with no exit. I was scared and thought about imminent death! :) But then I discovered you have the "hide" mechanic and was able to run away.
Cool game, nice to play :) Very smooth graphics and awesome minotaur sound.
Hey! Thanks for submitting the game for us to play on stream! Really great for a first submission. Great graphics and nice animations!
It would be cool to have some decorations on the sides instead of "transparent walls". Also would be awesome if you had some jokes if player tries to go into the wrong direction.
Great submission, keep doing games!
Here is a timed link to the stream: https://youtu.be/vC17EaL3CcI?t=1236
Hey! Thanks for submitting the game to our stream! This game has great graphics and aestetics. I have also enjoyed the gameplay. Its simple, but fun. I was able to complete the game after I learned that I don't have to fight every enemy
Also you have numbers swapped in in-game boxes and in the menu. But that's a minor thing.
Here is the timed link for the stream: https://youtu.be/vC17EaL3CcI?t=342
Hey! Thanks for sending us this game to play on stream!
Its a nice short game with different mechanics. It was surprising and nice to find out that each part of the body has its own game play. Also I like the setting which reminded me of the old "Inner Space" movie :)
As a small addition, it would be great to have some particle effect or animation when you kill the enemies.
Here is a timed link for the stream: https://youtu.be/vC17EaL3CcI?t=7855
Hey! Thanks for submitting your game for us to play on stream!
Its a really nice game, which greatly fits the theme! I like the mechanic where you have to draw signs to kill demons (though considering the D-one, I would prefer to have SFW mode). I also like that there is a boss fight.
It was definitely fun to play, though a bit difficult for me. Great game!
Here is a timed link for the stream: https://youtu.be/vC17EaL3CcI?t=5142
Hey! Thanks for submitting the game for us to play on stream!
The game is really well done. Graphics, animations and music are so polished. I like the story and the plot twist at the end of the game. What I would like to know is what happened to the cat? :)
Here is a timed link for the stream: https://youtu.be/vC17EaL3CcI?t=1740
Hey! Thanks for sending us your game to play on stream!
Its an interesting game to play, though last levels were a bit frustrating. I had to replay them a lot of times. Anyway, I have managed to complete the game! I want to point out that character control is really nice and smooth.
Cool small game, it would be nice to have it less complicated :)
Unfortunately you weren't present on the stream. Maybe you would want to check out the recording: https://youtu.be/vC17EaL3CcI?t=11366
Awesome idea, nice gameplay and cool graphics. Great job!
@brooobin Ahh, what a pity :( Works for me, so no idea what could be wrong :(
@broobin Thanks! What OS/Browser do you have?
@CodeChomper You can try a couple of things.
First, to make objects more stable you can try moving center of mass to the bottom part of the object - it especially helps for tall objects.
Also, increasing mass of objects also helps to some extent.
Another thing, which is more to help joints, is to increase number of solver iterations in Physics settings. This helped me to stabilize the bridge in the volcano level.
@gamezero Yeah, WebGL version is slower than Windows one. Its running in browser VM, so you need more powerful CPU than for standalone build. I am glad you was still able to enjoy the game :)
@brooobin Thank you! I was able to reproduce it on macOS Big Sur with Safari (Chrome works though). This is something out of my control. I have sent the report to itch.io's support. Let's see what they say. Thanks for reporting this!
Simple but addictive game, ideal for compo. Graphics is simple and stylish. Great work!
Awesome game! I really enjoyed playing it! Graphics is very cute and each level has a different mechanic. Great submission!
Nice graphics, great idea. Not really to the theme, but still a great game.
Great idea and good implementation. Very nice puzzle mechanics and fun to play.
Haha, great simulator of the office life! Btw, I was confused by the guy who wanted papers with diagrams. I found same papers on the table, but couldn't grab them. Only later I have found the same papers on the printer, and then it worked. Probably would be good to use different texture for decorations. All in all, great game! I have enjoyed playing it!
Nice small game lol :D This naughty button keeps sneaking out from under the mouse!
Hahaha, very nice game! I really enjoyed playing it, and the russian voice acting is soo iconic. Did you do it yourself? :)
Haha, very fun game! I like how you are supposed to reach the exit by jumping from one object to another. Graphics is simplistic, but fits the game very well. Great job!
This game reminds me Tetris :) The resulting stack is definitely unstable :D Great job!
Great game! Gave it 5/5 in innovation, mood and actually in overall :) I think this game has great innovative mechanics and gives right mood for the player. Music is also very nice. Graphics could be improved a bit, mostly the background image. This is a great submission! I hope you would decide to make a postjam version and put into some game store, because it has great potential!
Nice little game :)
Funny game! Definitely nails the theme!
@Wilko Thanks for the comment! Was it a Windows or WebGL build? I have noticed that WebGL has some performance problems, we will try to fix it in the post-jam version.
@emaigualmc2-art Sorry for the dizziness. Cylindrical world also caused a lot of trouble when I was writing the drone movement code.
@lukein Thanks for the comment! We didn't plan UI in advance and it is the result of "the flow", we just a bit polished it before submitting. And when you have copywriter on the team, you get a lot of texts :)
The resources were calculated in Excel on day one based on brainstorm, and we didn't have time to recalculate the balance. Actually in the current build some resources are not used by the factories because of a bug. We will prepare post-jam version with fixed economics.
I really appreciate your comment! We will work on the balance and think more on the UI, and try to improve it.
@glitchman Indeed, we didn't have time to create a tutorial. So we put some kind of help/manual into the game. I understand it's not the best solution, but hopefully it helps :)
@udo @666Savior Thanks for a feedback! Everything has been noted :)
Indeed we want to implement "collect all" button. And we definitely need a tutorial, we'll look into it.
@gabriel-dias-oliveira-de-almeida Thanks a lot for your kind words!
The graphics is really awesome, very stylish. Big kudos to the artist! I had to take multiple attempts before I discovered correct answers. Its nice that correct answers are not obvious. Nice game!
Haha, awesome game! Really enjoyed. It would be nice to have more polished character graphics, otherwise its perfect.
Nice simple tiny game :) Great submission!
@furano At the end of the Jam we have uploaded an intermediate testing build by mistake and we only noticed the mistake later, so we updated it to a correct one. I don't have the old file at hand, but as far as I remember that build had only 8 levels out of 10 and didn't show stats at the end of the level. Also, HTML5 build was done and uploaded to Itch a couple of days later and is mostly identical to the Windows build, except it doesn't have the Quit button in the menu.
@RosyMaple You have to put all the ingredients during the 10s period between cookings. Pan is cooking the dish every 10 seconds and takes whatever was on the pan at the moment of cooking.
@sipfindel Thanks. Cooking happens every 10 seconds. You have to bring all ingredients to the Pan before this 10s timer expires to cook the correct food.
@bqq We are distributed all around the world, but let's say our headquarters are in Finland, yes :) The music bug seems to happen in HTML5 version, we should hopefully have a fix soon :)
@furano Thanks :) We are working on a fix for the music!
@otterfaelure Yeah, the animation and the collider for picking up have to be fixed. We kinda get used to it during development, but its obvious from comments and streamers that it causes problems. We will fix it!
