pequenodev 2019-05-01 01:38

Nice concept, i missed a faster GUI for checking the materials but its funny anyway. Great job! PD: I lasted 5 days and 4 hours, hehehe

copper-aardvark-games 2019-05-01 01:42

great entry! I love the polished vibe of it all!

stev0o 2019-05-01 01:43

Wow! This is super fun! And funny! My favorite so far! Great job dudes!

minor-gods 2019-05-01 01:52

thank you so much for the feedback! 🙏

snowtv 2019-05-01 02:04

Concept is easy enough and graphics are charming.

It's kinda hard to keep track of all the requests, would be neat to have something like a side bar to keep track of quest and a cheat sheet for the synth craft.

minor-gods 2019-05-01 02:09

@snowtv yes, a recipe/bounty tracker is a big QOL improvement we talked about. thanks for the feedback!

minibobbo 2019-05-01 02:22

I wanted to play this once I saw your post on the homepage and I'm happy to report it did not disappoint! I lasted 3 days and 7 hours. mongr.png

I agree with some of the other comments that letting you select an item from the synth screen and having it appear on the side of the main screen would have gone a long way to making this easier to play. Some of the things seem extremely difficult for not a lot of return also.

I really enjoyed the graphics and the sound design. A little music would have made the experience even better, but it played extremely smoothly and felt nice. This world is inhabited by the chillest people. You can abduct a person right next to them and they don't even seem to care :)

The pacing works really well. It feels good - an adorable take on a dark idea.

macs 2019-05-01 02:39

The clicking sounds and game interactions are very satisfying!

zesix 2019-05-01 04:28

One of the most impressive entries I've seen this jam. Well done on all aspects!

cubicode 2019-05-01 04:41

Really fun to play, even if I only lasted 3 days and 8 hours.

I like the easy controls and the look.

I sure will play this more.

jyrkface 2019-05-01 04:51

Absolutely fantastic entry. I adored the graphics presentation, the UI was stunning. The sense of humor and general vibe throughout was incredible, and it all came off so polished. Not to mention it was just a really original and pleasant and fun game. You all really killed it.

j-c-one-bit-studio 2019-05-01 09:22

Fantastic job. It's almost a complete game with well thought out mechanics. Is there music in the game? There is in the trailer video, but there wasn't any in the game when I was playing.

nico-the-pro 2019-05-01 09:27

I loved how polished the game was. Would like to see a full version of it!

myrmyxo 2019-05-01 15:13

This was very good ! I love the idea and the system of craft ! At first you are a bit lost but after not at all. One of the best game of the Jam for me ! Congratulations !

evgeniya-zapolnova 2019-05-01 15:37

Awesome idea and nice game! I like economics and craft in games. And to craft people is anyway more interesting than minerals :) I enjoyed gameplay, thanks for that!

curled-leaf 2019-05-01 16:02

Good idea but its a bit hard to know what to do.

soarendev 2019-05-01 17:28

I love the idea! Didn't understood at first that I had to be quick so I lose like a dummy, but once you get the thing it's actually fun!

GG to you o/

riddhee-dutta 2019-05-01 17:35

ay ay ay Nice Artstyle Man Really Gorgeous!

lakrits 2019-05-01 17:59

Not bad, just needs music. Wish it remembered which recipe you were viewing last time the Synth tab was opened.

jestemstefan 2019-05-01 18:36

This is really great game! Great job!

olavdeng2 2019-05-01 18:39

Excellent submission! Honestly, its a simple nice fun game, feels very polished, there is only a couple of things missing, and thats music really. add some music and it is perfect id say!

ianlux 2019-05-01 19:36

Excellent game! If it had soundtrack it probably would be the best game I've played so far! :D

oddsocks 2019-05-01 20:38

Fab little game. Really enjoyed this one. It was quite a dark sort of subject, abducting people and then harvesting stuff from them. But it somehow felt light and breezy! Clever stuff.

fatpenguin 2019-05-01 20:41

haha, I love it :D I love every overcooked-ish game though <3 this ones really cute and fun and the humans look really sweet lol. :) Only thing that I might critizie is that a as a bit overwhelmed at first what to do and a little introduction would surely help; but then again this is a gamejam entry, ain't nobody got time for that :D Oh I also liked that one human has several ingredients to offer bt you gotta choose and you dont know at first which human has what :) Overall good job, I like it! The texts and names are also hilarious :D

azargaz 2019-05-01 20:42

Easily one of the best games this LD. Really polished and unique idea and nicely fits into theme.

hunter-x 2019-05-01 21:25

Fun game with a lot of polish! I do feel like there's potential for expanding the game mechanics somewhat beyond just grabbing as many items as fast as possible - perhaps making the humans react to your presence (either on the small scale by running away from the cursor if they see someone abducted, or on the large scale by eventually deploying the military to try and drive you off), or additional objectives in order to unlock new recipes/contracts. Nice work!

minor-gods 2019-05-02 00:23

blown away by all the comments and feedback! thanks everyone! we may have to just develop this further...

nikolay-zapolnov 2019-05-03 06:53

This is really cool idea, although the game is quite difficult to play. Or is it just me? Anyway, I enjoyed stealing fellow humans and transforming them into cocktails for the sake of getting more fuel :)
