Very short but cute little game. The drawings are very adorable ! I wish they were just a little music over it. I think I also get where the game is going, almost kind of Emily is away but it seems like you can get the good ending here (I mean there is not really a bad ending, is there ?)

The art and story is really cute. Brings you right into the moment, which is a huge success for a jam game. It's a bit disappointing that there isn't much dialogue or many options. The best VN have branching paths, but I guess that also takes a long time to plan. Some sounds would have been nice too.
I love the art style~! And appreciate the LGBT representation ^-^ I do wish there was music and sfx, but I played three times and got that second date! :D
This is really cute! Thank you for this! Wish it had some music and sounds to go with the beautiful graphics. To encourage replayability and trying different endings, I would have liked a "skip intro" option at the beginning. After 3 tries I got the good ending :) It was cool well done!

Like the idea a lot although I am not into Dating Sims and the sorts. So definitly not the target audience but I can very much see the work that was put into it. Illustrations are also very good.
I thought it was a little "sad" that the best way to play the game was to be shy and insecure.

The text boxes seemed really familiar, and then I realized... It's RPGMaker isn't it? Really unexpected use! I really love the graphics and the vibrant colors. The concept itself is also quite creative and I like how it fits the theme. The routes are nice too. Cool game!

Loved the art style, and the dialogue were simple and cute. I had a bit of trouble getting to the good ending but I finally did it!
The artwork is supper cute and really clean. Plus, you have a really good attention to detail with the Phone UI. The dialogue could use a little proofreading I think. There are a few grammatical errors I noticed.
Amazing visuals and loved the queer representation!! 🌈💖 A "skip intro" button after the first try, and also some sound effects or music would really put the game into a whole new level!!

Seu jogo é bem simples mas se encaixou muito bem no tema. Ninguém quer que um encontro se acabe. Principalmente no começo da relação. Uma ótima maneira de tratar o tema. Agora... eu estou apaixonado pela arte. Pra mim é o melhor do seu jogo.

Man, delaying an online date is tough. Nonetheless, it's a decent alternative to submissions I've played
Super cute graphics and story. The visuals do a great job to convey the feelings of Mel! I also like these textured wave/cloud things in the background.
Its a bit sad that there is no sound. Text based games often have like typing sounds that can express exitment or disappointment by changing the pitch or speed of the sound. But it is probably pretty hard to come up with the right sound of "typing" for a dating situation that does not sound out of place.
The gameplay is fun but simple. Its a good idea that the player has to click on an answer twice. When Mel realized Bee lied when she said she likes sports it felt like the game can read my mind :smile: Also the 1 month later ending is a great note to finish off the game. Great work!

Like the idea a lot but I would have loved to have dialogue audio for both of the characters. That would have been a boost to the game. Anyway, congrats for the result!
Nice little game! I would have enjoyed a few more dialogue options and the beginning was a bit confusing, but I liked it!
this is sooo cute, I would definitely play a full game with this art style, something like "daddy simulator" but a girls dating sim ... also I noticed its is not easy to get to the end they stay together, did once tho =)

Awesome art style! Some sound would definitely make the whole experience better. Check out BFXR - it can generate some basic sounds for you! Other than that, I think this is very nice entry and interesting interpretation of the theme, very original!

Just a solid, great experience overall: the dialog options that look rational lead you to a wrong path, but the time it took me to complete the game was just right for it not to become tedious. Great job!

Ayy finally got it! It was a good idea to not make the correct route the most obvious one, took me probably 15 tries to complete this haha. Mel's expressions were spot on, and this was a nice and quick game to play, and simple enough so i wanted to play it through the end. Very nice LD submission :thumbsup:

Lovely little story. I was less engaged by trying to find the "correct" set of options for the best ending (which, maybe there should be more than one path there?), but just casually playing through a lovely conversation between two people who like each other but are having a little trouble communicating it was pleasant. I like that, because they clearly do both like each other, there aren't *bad* endings so much as just less good ones.

This game is so nice, it reminds me of this toy-phone thingy my sister used to have (smartphone weren't a thing but you could call and talk to your "date"). Very nice, the art is incredibly well put together in such a short time ! Really nice. I hope you can work on it more in the future and add like character customization and perhaps a "procedural" aspect, so you don't have to hardcode anything ! The characters are super cute together, and very nice art, we don't see often narrative games like this in game jams, it was super interesting to look at the theme this way, especially since often times the way people implement theme is just narrative without very interesting gameplay fitting it, but here it's really subverting the expectations on it. It's just hard to guess which answers are the right ones and a little short, but solid entry nontheless !
Really charming take on the theme :D I think my main feedback is that it felt like there was only one correct route through it, which can feel punishing and like random search without extra context/information ahead of time about what they might prefer to hear. Would be nice to have a tree with alternate routes which converge on a good ending (or even multiple good endings!). That said, it's relatively minor and didn't really detract from the game as it's relatively short- it's a great jam game and this is mostly a sign of wanting more of it :P

I like how the game captures the back and forth of getting to know someone. You don't know what might be interesting for them, you don't know whether what interests you might turn them off and whether or not it is a deal-breaker, etc.
The art was adorable. I wish there were some sound effects or music to go with it.
Absolutely love how you worked with the theme here. It's nice how it's about a good date not wanting to end vs perhaps a more usual trope of one person desperately clinging on to find the right words in an otherwise bad date hahahaha. Super super super cute game! Really cool sapphic dating VN. The dialogue was really fun and I kind of liked how like, you didn't only learn about the other character but you own as well. Really nice!
This was a cute game, reminded me a lot of face-timing my partner during lockdown. I loved the graphics and the story was was really nice to uncover as well. Small touches like Mel not wanting you to hide your interests and being open made it feel really warm and accepting, it was a nice touch. Mirroring what everyone else said, some sound effects or music would have been nice, but I think my main frustration came from not having a skip intro button, or a way to fast forward. Having some endings happen abruptly made it frustrating to have to go through the same text over and over. Overall it was very cute, and I'm always down for more LGBT+ games.
I really enjoy the gameplay! The graphic is very cute and the dialogue is so sweat. When Mel smiles at me, I got blush too. And the game fit the theme very well. The date might end inevitably but love will last. I wish the gameplay could go longer so that I can spend more time with Mel.
The graphics and atmosphere are great, wasn't able to find the true ending but I was able to feel a sense of progression after each attempt. Thanks for sharing on stream.

This is so cute!!! The dialogue (especially the text describing their thoughts) is so true!!!! I love how completed the game is. And I love the art style!!!
This was lovely! The art is great and the interface is smooth. I'm a huge fan of bees in games so this gets bonus points for that! I also liked how quick it was to go through a playthrough, it didn't feel too quick to be fulfilling, but a lot more bite sized compared to a lot of visual novel type of games.
Really cute game, would love to see more! Maybe an option to skip dialogues that were already read would be nice tho

Cool concept it’s just a little too slow
Bruh i liked sports but Bee didn't tell me **she** didn't like sports so then i looked like a CLOWN :sob: kinda wish the game told me *when* i would be committing the crime of fraud :P
was more of a trial and error process but i did eventually secure that 2nd date, very *very* cute art tho i like the style a lot

This was a cute and charming game, I really enjoyed it. The writing was good, it felt oddly realistic somehow. The art is really pretty too. The only complaint I have (which is a large one) is that it's way too minimalistic. I would really like to see you make something bigger and more ambitious, since there is clearly a lot of talent at display here that I feel isn't being fully utilized.
It's lovely to see a more positive spin on the theme of delaying the inevitable, especially as it's a theme that I feel naturally leads folks towards a slightly darker tone.
