It is a really interesting game for sure and the graphics are quite enjoyable. The puzzles were good and it made me think a little to be able to solve them. You have a really good learning curve and that's a big plus for this game. Good job and keep up the good work !

I have to admit, that was a really nice game ! My only "problems" is that your character should always be running instead of having to press shift for it and that I had to change my keyboard layout for english since I have a french one. But other than that, seriously, great job and keep up the good work !

@jeroenpx Well, if there was some levels with multiple solutions, I guess I just couldn't see them, then :stuck_out_tongue: I think of them looked like there was multiple solutions, but one looked undoable from the beggining (actually the level from the gif above)
It's a cute little game, I really enjoyed it, from the art style to the music. I like how you made the drummer move with the music, really nice touch. My only problem would be the tutorial round, where the score actually matter and I didn't know that killing ants will give me A LOT of negative points.
It is an intersting game, I really liked the art and found it cute. I think it needs a little more balancing because I got bullied by bandies 3 nights in a row and lost everything quickly, and I also wish they were a recap of all the stuff I gathered during the day/night. Other than that, it's really well made and I hope you're gonna update it !

It's a cool game, i liked it. Maybe it was a little too hard because even though I sort of figured out what to do, everything went way too fast after the first even and I couldn't manage to slow things down.
It was really a cool experience, but I really thought the game bugged at the end. Maybe you should have just litteraly made the game exit itself here. Otherwise, it was a really interesting story with cute visuals and good storytelling.

The graphics and audio was really good, and so does the gameplay. It was an interesting idea, but I have to admit it was hard to understand how to play the game at first, but once you do, it's actually pretty easy to beat.

@dry-squid , the mac version is sadly out of question because I have absolutely no idea how to make it for mac. I actually tried to make a web version, but for some reasons, the audio wasn't working, and also there is another weird error displaying that you can press escape to escape the game multiple times. I need to figure thoses both before I can make a propre web version. Obviously I don't want to disapoint you, I can upload the web version that I actually have and give the link for you (I don't really want to put it on itchio since it's buggy, but I can put it in one of my webdrive).
@dry-squid Well, I actually figured out how to publish for mac and linux. It was actually quite easy. Since I never made a build for mac, I'd be happy if you could tell me if it actually work or not.
It's simple and cute, I love the sound effects lol. I agree with @kirlosev and you shoud totaly make some penalties for shooting when there is no dog, so people won't just spam the buttons. Also, dogs comming for the skies, above the player, would be also really neat too, I think !

Okay so, first of, I saw you begging for votes on the front page. You should realize you need yourself to vote other games to have more chance to receive votes. Seconds, my computer is an absolute potato and your game is lagging on it. I'd have liked a downloadable version, so I could have played it better. Since it was super laggy, I couldn't play it long, but so far the visuals are really good, but I couldn't figure out what to do. But honestly, it does look promising, I hope you keep updating/polishing it in the futur !
This looks like Binding of Isaac, but the combat system is a bit tedious since you can't move while firing. But it has potential to be a great game. I stopped playing after I was killed by an unseen trap.
This was an really interesting game. I had a blast playing it, especially because I enjoy the good old quake gameplay.
The graphics are quite outstanding, but I couldn't figure out what to really do (the map was really clever though). It's okay, I still had some fun just navigating around !

@wolf-flare I think your point of view about a game jam is completely and utterly wrong. A Game Jam is about making a game. Not only that, it's too also have fun, to challenge yourself and learn stuff. What are you gonna say to kids that just want to have fun and want to create a game for a jam ? "Stop here, it looks like shit" ?
People are enjoying my game, even though it looks completely dull. Gameplay is, for me, far more important that any graphics. I'd rather play a fun game that look like shit that a boring one that look fantastic.
I'm a lone programmer, I absolutely enjoy creating games, and you can be sure i'll never stop creating them because "oopsie I can't graphic nor audio". Beyond that, maybe I plan to actually visually update the game ? You prefer to just judge for options I have opted out for a reason.
Anyway, at least my players understand how to play my games and have fun playing it, right ? Can't say that to everyone.

I have to admit I'm quite impressed you can actually create a game on an Ipad Pro. Sadly, it doesn't mean it can make an interesting game. The idea is good but I got killed on level 4 and I didn't wanted to try harder than that because of the speed of the game.
It was a nice game and I pretty much knew quickly I had to not make pact to win the game, but the battles are too random to make it easy. A little bit frustrating but it's okay.

The concept is interesting, but it is a bit harsh to have to redo all the level if you fail. I'd have liked a checkpoint for each altars. If you want to add music and sound effects to your game, you should check out opengameart !

This was a great game tbh. As soon as I head the default Unity footsteps sounds I was like "Oh, well here they are" and the game going "And here as the same footstep as day 1", I laugthed. Good one really :')
Nice work. The only real "bug" I could find is that when you press shift, it only makes the footsteps go faster but hey, other than that, pretty solid work !
Well I coudl'nt interact with anything in the game so, it's basically unplayable. It does looks promising though.

This is clearly a good game, but really need some polish as well. It was really frustrating at times when I just wanted to reload but the camera move so I wasn't on the ammo box anymore, and it happens many times and with almost all interactable objects. Maybe I should have played the web version on fullscreen ?
Other than that, it was fun and difficult ! I hope to see this game updated !

The ball was really hard to controll and I couldn't be bothered to pass the very first level, sorry. I like the idea that the music kept progressing while you progress, but it was annoying so... There is some bugs at the last level but that's okay. The graphics are cute and the sound desing suits well to the game. Yes, the UI is a problem since you move around and the blocks stay the same but that's not really a big issue. The Restart button doesn't work as I thought it would (reset every block), I encountered a bug where I placed a block inside another one that was place from the start and couldn't remove it. I had to restart the game at this point.
Also, the thing is I don't understand where the theme of the jam is, honestly. You start from nothing I guess, but you also gain nothing in the end.
Anyway, even if I don't think the game suit the jam theme, that doesn't mean it's a bad game. Keep up the good work !

Alors, étant français, je n'ai pas de problème à jouer à ce jeu. Cependant la majorité des gens ici parlent anglais et ça aurait probablement était mieux de traduire ce jeu pour avoir une plus grande audience. Mise à part ça, le jeu est chou. J'ai bien aimé résoudre les énigmes et c'était plutôt drôle. Les deux points négatifs sont vraiment le manque de tout sons et la sensibilité un peu trop grande de la souris. Continuez à faire des jeux comme ça, cependant, au final c'était quand même un joli petit jeu :smile:

This is such an amazing entry. I love the audio, I love the cute graphics and that dabbind caracter, it's so silly and I love it. I'm not an huge puzzle player but I managed to go to level 2-3 and after that I stopped but still, it's a remarquable little game and so well made in such little time. I couldn't finish the game because I got frustrated at level 3 or 4, when you start the level by dropping down. It's a bit glitchy, I died sometimes because my avatar did some small jumps for no reason or because the hitbox seems bigger than the sprite itself. I'm sorry I couldn't go further but I think it has some great potentials !
It was an interesting game and I liked the idea. I love tower defenses and this one have a good twist. I have to admit that i'd never figured out to upgrade the jammer if I haven't see it in the comments. Too bad you can't restart at the wave you failed because I failed at wave 5 and I was like "nope, i'm not going that again" lol.

What a cute little game. I loved it, so adorable. I did all the endings. Best one is obviously with Photosentesia because I always wanted to become the spouse of a plant, Coco's ending is clause behind because anime girls. The artwork was absolutely amazing, and really adorable, even for Thint, I guess. Cat lady and Coco's are so adorable !

This is a really good game ! Everything feels nicely put together. I'm not a good puzzle game player but I got to level 10 until I was "done with it", which means that I really tried a lot lol. I played it on full screen and didn't realized that the very pixelated text was not made on purpose ! Other than that, I found no bug whatsoever.

So I really wanted to give that game more of a try but when my computer started to heat a lot, I gave up.

This is absolutely unplayable and the "music" was seriously hurting my ears.
I really like the game. It's absolutely cute, the sound effects are cute and well made. It's a bit hard to keep the guys inside your wagons though, best I could get was 3640m meters or so.

The game is a bit simple but it's hard to manage game balance in only 2 days, so I think it's okay. I also think the theme of the game jam is well respected here ! Minimalistic but quite lovely at the same time. Simple graphics can show a lot more than what people think ! You said you created your own engine for that and that's remarquable ! It's refreshing to see a game made in another engine than unity or unreal engine :smiley: I had a bug and I couldn't get pass through wave 4, I think. My best score was 35. The game is simple, but good, and I really enjoyed playing it! (Also I wanted to play it because I saw the miniature and I was like "Is that a fucking minion?" :laughing:)

Text based games are not my cup of tea but I managed to get this one to the end of it. I really enjoyed the story ! I got a good shuckle about the "Toxic masculinity" and that part when I said I had friends to help me out :laughing: And the music, oh boy do I love myself some synthwave ! I'd only wish for some SFX to play to add up to the experience, that'd be a great addition to the game, I think.

Frankly a cute little game. Excellent graphics and especially the music, I mean, I've never heard something quite like that before.
There is a really good core, but the physics were quite a bit janky at some times and I even fallen through platforms sometimes (that very fast one in particular). That's Unity physics for you, am I right ?

I had a bug where the moving audio clip was looping and stayed until I quit the game but other that that, it worked fine for me. I'm not sure the theme of the game suits the jam theme since, well, it's not inevitable to loose, but it's okay, it's still a good game nonetheless. Keep up the good work :smile:
So, I played the "fixed" version. As you said yourself: it's fair to update the game with bugfix and stuff like that. This is a good game. I haven't anticipated that it was an "horror" game and the first monster gave me a spook lol. I really liked the game, but the framerate is not really good at all and my GPU ran at 100%!
Here are some tips for the next game you create: * Bake your lights. I think I counted 20 or so lights in the main room and six in each corridor and it seems to add up to a lot! There's no real need for dynamic light here, therefore baking it will help the performance a lot by calculating how the light will render once and for all. * The room with barrels and mops was very laggy for some reasons. I'd recommend setting everything that will not move, ever, as static. It will also help with the light baking (if I remember correctly)! * I think you could ad some occlusion culling here, even though it feels unecessary since it's a little map, so the GPU doesn't calculate stuff the player doesn't see.
Appart from the performance issue, I really enjoyed the game! Keep up the good work :smile: !
@roka-josh What you could do is actually put two lights in the exam same spot. One that is baked and another one that is dynamic. The baked one will provide no issue with the performance since it's already calculated and the dynamic one will provide dynamic lighting for objects with the same layer or tag.
Don't count my words on that though, it's been a while since I haven't touched Unity's light more than that and maybe a mixed light will be better.
I download it and watched it. I hope you'll eventually finish the game because the animation was really great!

So, I wanted to play the game but the link is dead. Sad. You put a lot of effort into the game, it deserve critisism, so you can create a better game next time. The thing is you can't receive help if you don't show your work. Everyone first attemps are not that great and that okay. What's important is that you improve yourself.

I have to be honest, the game jam version isn't particulary intesting to me. The idea is very good ! The graphics are cute as well. But it gets boring very quickly.
With that said : I also played the post jam version and oh wow what an improvment ! Really great job on that ! The music suits well, I love the reactions and those stupids "reh re ra roo roo" from the presentator :laughing: Very well done for the post jam version, really ! I just wish there were a little bit more time to just even read the possible answers.

I really like the idea of the game. Simple, yet effective. I liked the idea that if you run into a trashcan, trash just fly everywhere! What the game lakes is a proper game over (I think? I've been playing for a little while, and I saw a lot of trash adding up and no game over). It also needs some breaks to completely stop you from moving. I think this game has potential and, with a little bit of work, could become something really nice! You got the basic idea, now you just have to continue developing it. Keep up the good work :smile:
For a game made with pico-8, I can say that I'm very impressed by the graphics. Very good job on that. the particule effects are really cute lol. I really like that the damage was visible on the Earth as well ! I got a max score of 116, I guess it's nice, the game feels a little bit unfair sometimes but it's okay. I wish there were a 8-bit music with that lol. Good job, I really liked it. Keep up the good work !
This is a good idea for a game. Well done with the idea ! Very atmospheric scenery as well. I tried to read some of the past quests but the scrollbar is painfully to slow to use. There are also some bad translations but since it seems there was quite a lot of text, it's fine.

I really like the idea. The concept suits very well to the game jam ! I tested the game jam release and I got into it for like 15 mins before I honestly got bored, sorry ! It was too easy for me. You just have to keep building a castle in the last point and put more castle on the way thereafter. The music is cute but very, very repetitive. The graphics are pretty adorable ! I think there was a bug because it seems like my units didn't do anything against Bario. Did I miss something ? Otherwise it's a nice game. Good job !
So, I've finally found your entry and I was very glad to be able to play it. It's not really a game, since there is no real gameplay, nor way to lose, but it is still a nice little experience. It's creepy yeah, the blue dot from the goose made me think there'd be another blue dot that'd be comming after me but nope lol, never. Good job on making me anxious for no reason :laughing: As everyone as already said : it's really good looking! The audio suits the experience very well as well. I really enjoyed the walk, even if the tasks were a little bit repetitive. The only downpart for me is the theme : it feels honestly very cheap to slap the "delay the inevitable virus" at the end of the experience. It doesn't make the experience bad, of course, but it still feels easy.

I was stuck at the first 3D world level. I couldn't get what I was supposed to do. Switching from R to C was also I weird move I guess ? Maybe R is used later on ? In 3D world the character is way too slow. I'm not sure if it's suits the game theme, but maybe it's because I've haven't reached the end yet ? I'm sure this will be a lovely game if it has a little more polish to it. Keep up the good work ! :smile:
The game suits the game jam pretty well ! My max score was 628. I tried to bet it but I couldn't. I liked the game, but sometimes there were parts where 4 birds where on screen and it was just inevitable each time and I pretty much had to loose health here. Otherwise I like the game, the graphics are descent and I wish there were a little music on top of it, and a button to restart quickly. Keep up the good work :smile:
This is really a cute little game. I wish it were translated in english though. The drawing are lovely and the music is simple, yet cute! I think there were a bug at some point because I couldn't see some cats that I found. Keep up the good work :smile:
I knew I'd love that game when I saw that background. Lofi cat with rain on windows : hell yeah ! So it's a bit hard to find someone for your taste and I had to give up after a while. But the experience is neat and well complemented by the graphics and the audio.

It's a cute game, but I started to quickly hate the music and the sound effect. I think it's also too easy since you just have to spam click the cats to stay in the game. I got a score of 16 which I recognize is low but I didn't really wanted to continue playing more.

I played it a bit but I think it's a little too much luck based to be really enjoyable. I got a score of 2560 at my last attempt and I guess I was unlucky with my card draw.
I believe it has potentials but it needs more adaptation on the game balance. Getting two cards would be a great start, even if you can only play one of them, for example.

Quite an experience. I wish there were more objects to place and also a bigger space to place them, but I liked going in first person view to look at my "creation".
Also, I need to point out that you need to drop out of "audio" if it wasn't created by you. I don't get why I would need internet for it to work also...
It's okay if your game doesn't have a goal, the journey can be more satisfying than the destination.
I really liked the game, because it was absolutely cute. I mean I smiled just by hearing the "yeepee" when the character jumped for the first time. I really liked that little smile she did when she jumped as well ! The music is smooth and relaxing which fit perfectly here !
I explored all of that little world and it was satisfying.
The only part I'm saddened about is the lack of utility of the fruits you can plant. It feels like the game doesn't suits the theme of the game jam at all, to be honest. Yes, stuff is happening every 10 seconds, but it change in now way the gameplay.
But I'd really like you to not focus on that and keep improving that game because I'd very much enjoy revisit it whenever you ad more content to it !

I'm not very good at puzzle games. I stopped at level 6. I do really enjoy the idea and it suits really well the game jam theme ! I wish I could have some time before the level start so I can analyze the level and think about what I should do.

Very intersting game ! Very well polished, graphics, sounds, musics, even the menu is cool ! Quite impressed by this entry so far.
My max score was about 35000 points and I guess it's a lot ? The first time I played I had no idea what was happening until I realised there was some arrows pointing out that a gauge was depleting or increasing lol.
My only wish is that whenever I click on a button, the track would react to it.

The game is too easy. You can just spam the space button and you'll always end up killing a bunch of weeds, therefore not loosing.
Even without spamming space, the screen shaking was way too much over the place and honestly I had to stop from playing because it was headache inducing. I stopped after 2 minutes or so.
On the fact you say the game is not optimized : you spawn a lot of stuff on screen. Maybe what you need is object pooling (if you haven't already done that). I haven't feel like the game was laggy but the topic might interest you : https://learn.unity.com/tutorial/introduction-to-object-pooling

Alright, the first thing you hear when you open is that "choo choo" and honestly I simply love it because I laughed at it :laughing:
The game is quite simple in design but I was rapidly overwhelmed by how many trains there was at once and it's rapidly difficult to keep track of them all. I only score 4 after some attempts because puzzle games aren't my cup of tea. (I guess it's a puzzle game ?)
Maybe you should have started with only one train in the first few rounds and adding another one after ?

It's a good game, the battle reminds me of the Binding of Isaac. I couldn't beat the boss though, it was a bit too hard to my liking. I think there simply was too much tiles going down to be able to keep up with it, even with the powerups. It could use some gameplay balance but it's still a decent experience !

This is a cute game. I don't really get why my character changed so much stats when I only chose one. It seems the only way to score is just to survive and not to kill enemies so you could just hide and get a highscore. You could have made a system where the more enemies you kill, the more points you get when you finally die, for example. I think it needs a little bit more polish but other than that it's a good entry.

Oh man, I'm not good at all why that kind of game. I only made 23 points max :cry: English isn't my first langage either so yeah, it wasn't easy at all lol.
I liked the idea and I wish there were more letters to work with because it get hard when you have uncommon letters. Maybe an easy mode ?
Anyway, it was still fun ! I'll show this game to a friend, I'm sure he will enjoy more than I did !

I think the game has a very interesting idea. I like the idea to switch characters every 10 seconds and that each on of them have unique abilities. The graphics are also pretty cute. But the game is too unforgiving and the controls are too floaty as well and I end up dying way too fast. I think if you keep working on it, it'd be way more interesting and I'd love to pick it up again.

Oh man, it got way too hard after the milk. It was still very fun, I honestly enjoy that you just continue playing even if you literally don't make any drinks so you can see what kind of monstruosity customers ask you to prepare. I mean, 4 hot water and one coffee ? That can't taste good :laughing: I also enjoyed just blasting wrong orders to my customers so they can make a little "ouch" :laughing:
I still wish the game was easier but it wasn't frustrating so I guess it's okay.

It's a simple concept but pretty well executed. Yes it does reminds of angry birds but I like the idea the track change every 10 seconds. I think the game was a bit to easy though, I did get bored after scoring 33 points. I believe adding some obstacles could help with that.

J'ai fini par prendre Roberte, j'avais bien l'impression que c'était la meilleure candidate mais je me suis apparemment trompé.
Il y a peut être un peu trop de texte pour pouvoir tout lire en moins de 10 secondes et la police de caractère n'aime pas les accents. J'aurais aimé aussi une explication de ce que je dois faire directement dans le jeu. J'aurais aimé une petite musique pour accompagné le jeu (on peut en trouver facilement en libre de droit) mais ça n'est pas très important.
Dans l'ensemble c'est un chouette petit projet et j'espère que vous allez continuer à travailler sur des jeux comme ça :smile:
I enjoyed the game but it feels like you can have a game over too quickly and you can't really enjoy it. The music is nice and the sfx and voice lines are too. I like the art as well, I always enjoy some 16 bits graphics !
At first I wasn't really sure what was the link with the theme but I realised the limited space was the fuel space in the tank (I guess that's it, at least).

I think the game have some potentials. It's actually easy since you can just stay on the bottom floors and spam the fire button. I "had" to search for the power ups to have a challenge.
It's a little buggy (can't jump on the lower left platform / was using wallsliding to make some jumps) but with a debug, some music and some 2D lights, it could be a far better game than it is now.
I would love this more if it had some timer / enemy count and more levels to play one. As for now, it is fine, but it'd be nice if you'd continue working on it !

What an interesting idea ! I have to admit it is very bald to create a game only for android because not everyone will download and play it. I like that you had your idea and stick to it !
The visual is charming and the game is some sort of cookie clicker but it is still very enjoyable. Sadly, it runs poorly on my phone (20 fps or so I'd say).
The sfx and graphics are quite nice and I did enjoy seeing the gears of the "converters".

I loved the graphics, they were pretty cute. I think the idea is nice too but some levels starts too abruptly for me to react accordingly. The idea that you go slower while overcapacited make the game feels slowers as hell.

It's a nice game and I liked the idea of having a shooter in a limited space while also having the updrages in the same space. Maybe it was a little bit too small but it was manageable.

Oh ! Okay I'm sorry it wasn't obvious to me. So now I have finished the game and I can say it was a quite nice experience. The music is well chosen and the graphisms are cute. It's a nice little puzzle game but the only downside I see to it is that it wasn't obvious that you could move the appartment arround.
It's okay though, it was still nice to play!

@syntaxxor You're the very first one that ever "complained" about the fact one of my game is not colorblind friendly. Interesting point that I had never really took in mind and I'll try to think of it for the next time around. Sure, blue and slightly darker blue maybe wasn't the smartest choice but I didn't wanted to make it too obvious too.
I'll think of a solution for the next time around for sure !
@kiberptah It was meant to be this way because it was the last level and it felt like a nice "conclusion" to me. I thought about spelling "Congrats" or something but eh, I liked the weirdness of that last level.
It's a nice little game. If found 2 secrets but got a score of 97 % so that's nice. I really liked the attention to details with the sound of the scanner getting louder has it get closers.
I wish the caracter was more centered though. Sometimes you move a long way to one direction and you see nothing in front of you.
Overall a simple but fun game. Keep up the good work :smile:
It was a fun game until I reached the second level with the crates. I absolutely didn't understand what I could have done to be able to win here. Also I don't get why the robot redo the level, it feels unnecessary.
I think you should do a little playthrough of your own game so people can still pass levels they really don't get and not be frustrated by it.
I like GameBoy style and the still fits it well. The music fits as well but a bit repetitive, especially when you are stuck.
Overhall, it's nice. I wish I could have played more though. Keep up the good work :smile:

It's a cute game. Very lovely visual and charming story as well. I wouldn't call it a puzzle game though since pushing a block to a predefined path doesn't recquire thinking. It's a nice little experience anyway. The second ending is the cutest.
Remark : From what I am understanding from your description, you have not made the audio of the game so please opt out from it as it's unfair for people who made the music for their game.

I admire the fact that you did it your own engine. It's nothing short of an acomplishment ! That being said : yeah my computer made really loud noises. I mean it drawn 260 W and like, Cyberpunk 2077 does that on ultra lol.

Very cute game. The puzzle weren't frustrating and you can figure them out just by looking at the level, which is nice. The caracter does feels a little bit too "floaty" for me though, but it's manageable.

I tried the 0.2 version and it seems to works fine.
It's simple and effective. I went to level 28 before getting a game over (I really didn't wanted to redo it all to top my score though).
The visuals are simple but does the works nicely. I honestly clicked on the game because of the miniature looking funny lol. I really appreciate that the panic button actually "bump" with the audio, that's a nice touch. I guess some variety in the colors of the passengers would have been nice but eh, it's fine how it is too.
My only complaint is that it never introduce more mecanics, just more of the sames one. You should consider it next time you try that kind of game.

I managed to go to a score of 14 and I stopped after that because I think I've seen all there is to that game. It's a fun game but there is no emphasis to NOT destroy your stuff so you could just smash it all and bag it. I think it would have been far better to make the game based on how much you could have packed without having to destroy it. Maybe the timer was a too generous too.
I also want to had that if you did not made the music of the game, you should opt out from the audio category has it is unfair for the ones that have created it.
Overall it's a nice game and I hope you'll polish it.
