The game visually looks amazing
Cool grafics! Pixelated textures on low poly models have a very unique vibe to them. The whole game feels surreal, didn’t expect narration in it at all, good touch! Unfortunately, gameplay got predictable really fact, so I didn’t spend much time in the game, but I feel like it’s more of personal preference than anything
Absolutely love this game. The art, the audio, the atmosphere... all fits perfectly.
That's special... but somehow i dived into into it and almost drown in this mood.
Quite an experience. I wish there were more objects to place and also a bigger space to place them, but I liked going in first person view to look at my "creation".
Also, I need to point out that you need to drop out of "audio" if it wasn't created by you. I don't get why I would need internet for it to work also...
Oh yes @harksa, sure! I just opted-out of the audio category, thanks! ;) Also you are totally right concerning the number of objects and the space. Hopefully in a post-jam version?
Some explanation about the internet connection needs: there is two reasons: - we connect to a web chill radio for the music - the game downloads the voices sounds at runtime
Really liked this one. Have only played the Jam version but I liked it so much I gotta check the post jam version out. I couldn't get the 'immerse yourself' to work with c for some reason. Love the idea and the atmosphere though. So the connection with the theme is the train comes every ten seconds right? Love it well done
Visually stunning, great mood, great atmosphere and all well put together.
@stone-tape-studios sad to hear you could not do that immersion! :grimacing: Don't hesitate to try the post-jam, I'm sure the problem is not present on this one (or if it's the case it's a rare bug... )
Look amazing, feels good
I wasn't expecting a game where I could decorate a giant foot with smaller feet, but here we are... Looks great, has fun background narration, and chill vibes. Nice work!
I totally just blissed out and thought about rainbows. Thank you!
Cool game
Interesting experience, I ended up violating the rule of chill and building myself a parkour course for the immersion mode. Like for @stone-tape-studios on my first attempt immersion mode didn't work, but it worked just fine after I restarted the game. The vibe is delightfully absurd with the spiritual quotes about the objects (some AI text-to-speech API I guess?) and the dithered pixel art textures look amazing. I think the chill radio didn't work for me as there was no music (unless that's where the wind ambiance comes from). All in all great experience and nice to play something completely different!
Thx everybody for your comments and feedback! :relaxed:
Sorry for the bugs: - "C" doesn't launch the immersion mode: @stone-tape-studios, @bqq, I haven't found yet where the bug comes from... I cleaned up some code for version 1.2, maybe I fixed this bug without doing it on purpose? ^^
- no music: @stone-tape-studios, I'll see if I can detect the fact that the radio is not working, and then try another station... ^^
[EDIT] 1.3 is online, there is now a security that checks the internet connection, reconnects the radio if the connection is lost, and switches to another radio station if the current radio is temporarily down.
great vibes. I liked how relaxed the game was. Immersion mode was fun. I ended up trying to parkour around the structures I made which was a good time as well.
Sad to see that immersion mode didn't work but great atmosphere!
Looks great, lovely vibe. I didn't spend a lot of time in it (not my type of game haha) but I can see what you were going for and it works well. Good job!
