This game as some potential but it is a little bit frustrating at times. Keep the good work up !

jeremy-daffix 2019-10-07 23:28

The keepers clearly need some balancing, I know ;) Thanks for your review!

If some people are struggling to finish the game:

SPOILER AHEAD ###

Once you have all the clothes, you need to go back to a fitting room to dress up. Before that, you need to get the pincers in order to remove the anti-theft devices. You also need the sunglasses because the keeper at the entrance will spot your "red eyes".

I think it probably needs a bit less range on the guards but it was pretty decent!

fvafhae 2019-10-10 16:55

Interesting game, but you need to give players hints on how to leave the shop. Well, I wasn't able to finish the game without your spoiler

Keepers have the ability to see through walls! :)

It's an alright game, but getting items from shelves is a pain. It requires multiple attempts to properly collide with the shelf to get items, and that is enough time to get caught.

flying-dog-fish 2019-10-10 17:11

This is a fun little game.

jeremy-daffix 2019-10-10 17:14

Thanks for your reviews! :) I made a post-gamejam release with some debug, balancing (keepers view range!), sounds & music, graphics improvements, etc (I will post it AFTER the rating period, or upon request in PM if you are curious ;))

@dib you don't have to collide with the shelf, but to be at the right spot in front of the shelf to find the specific product :p

Wow hahahaha nice one!! Actually we did almost the same game! Check it out, you will like it:) And well as a stealth game, I just miss some feedback of the vision of the guards, and maybe a physical representation of the clothes on the scenario. But the idea is awseome, just like ours ;)

jeremy-daffix 2019-10-11 19:04

@lonewolfdev I tried it: your game is awesome! ;) (and much better than mine: graphics, gameplay features, polishing,...) If I make a V2 I will probably steal you some ideas O:)

tricky-fat-cat 2019-10-12 08:23

You have a pretty good idea and game, however, I miss indication of NPCs sight sector and distinctive sprites of walls. And I like that there are some additional interactions on the level, which change some parts of gameplay. Good job.

taldius 2019-10-24 21:00

Simple but quite funny haha. Maybe an helper for the sight of the guards would have been appreciated because as it is, it's hard to know if they see you or not. Anyway, good job overall!

roitchie 2019-10-26 14:57

A nice little prototype. The concept is good. It would be nice if the aisles had graphics for the items so you know where to go to pick up each item. You also can't get through gaps with shoppers where it looks like you should be able to. Those minor annoyances aside for a game made by one person its very good. Definately worth developing further

zinkler 2019-10-26 17:52

Wouldn't understand that I need to get back to the fitting room to put on the stuff, if it wasn't for comment section here. I like the overall idea of the game, but I wish controls would be a bit more responsive, and challenge a bit more fair.

jonathan-lorenz 2019-10-28 09:41

Funny. I wasn't always clear where to stand to get things. I liked all the lines when you pick up clothes. Good point for humor!

doey 2019-10-29 16:37

Definitely enjoyed the humour as well as your take on the theme. I think any of my issues have already been addressed by other people, but they didn't really detract from my enjoyment of it!

ds-nahogara 2019-10-29 18:30

I had fun! It was a weird experience, but i enjoyed the humor and the mood from the game, good work! :v:
