@bender-biber So you're the third one commenting about it. Hmm, it seems it's a bigger issue than I anticipated. I'll take a deeper look into this. Do you mind telling me your graphics card, and whether or not you have updated your drivers? Thanks. @huntrox @sir-galloy-de-fierpate
Man, you aimed high! That's for sure. Really nice *everything* really. Gameplay, graphics, audio, and story were all on point. Though, the control explanations should have been on the game screen itself, instead of further below on the web page, as it took me a good several deaths before realising what was actually happening!
This is one of my favourite entries I believe. The only drawback is poor looping of the background music. (Our entry has same problem though hehe) Other than that, it was really intuitive to get a feel for the game based on the tips you get in the beginning. At first I couldn't believe a few people had made this in 72 hours. However, I soon realised there was a bigger group than that, when taking a peek into the big propaganda room, if I may call it that, with all you Creators proudly on display. :) This game actually seems small at first, but then you constantly get surprised by how big it really is. Well, for an LD game at least! Good job everyone.
I enjoyed playing through this. The ladder controls were slightly annoying, but I managed to get the hang of it. Of course I didn't get the key before getting to the end, so I had to backtrack! I like the change to dark colors that took place. Combat felt satisfying, although it was maybe too easy? The number of save points were probably also unnecessary, except for where the key had to be picked up. Overall good compo entry.
Nice atmosphere and graphics. The controls are a bit hard to use, so the aiming is difficult as a result. Otherwise nice game. I found the *literally* blue screen of death amusing. :)
Nicely done. I wish the picking was better though, as I accidentally skipped turns when I thought I clicked on a peasant to move it, but the game didn't register it. Good graphics, but could of course have used some music. :)
This might just be the most fun I've had beating an LD game. Honestly. The level design is amazing, and the audio is *perfect*. The mood is just as it should be. It's an advantage you are a big group, but I'm still impressed by the amount of work done in 72 hours. When I first started playing, the jumping felt odd, but I quickly grew to love that too. :)
I like the graphics and audio. It lacked a bit in gameplay, and it got boring relatively quick, but it is overall a pretty good entry.
This is like Flappy Bird, except you don't need skill or training. Only patience.
Very, very fun! Takes me back to when "upgrade game mechanics/graphics/ui" web games became popular. This was very well executed, although the lag is bothersome. Thankfully, it only lags when the round starts or ends. It really got difficult towards the end, with only a few enemies left to unlock.
Haha, you know you get a high humor rating when I am already laughing while reading the description. This game is cuteness overload. I swear, I lost count of how many times I started chuckling. The background music is great, and the "Muffin!" sound effect made my day. Thanks for making this!
It's fun, but really stressful. I can't keep up with the police. I think I got kind of far, but it just got too hard.
I'm impressed by the execution of this. I think entertainment like this will become more and more popular. It doesn't necessarily feel *fun* to play, but it was interesting to play. If there are any negatives, it's the fact that the backwards music is rather disruptive. While I understand you probably want it like that, I personally think it should have been a bit easier on the ears.
Enjoyable to play. Relaxing game. I found hope, but I feel like a villain rather than a hero, because I'm the only person who survived to the end. :(
Really nice game. It felt good playing. The music is excellent, and the idea is a creative take on the theme. While I do see the problems with collisions, I honestly found the controls rather pleasant. I'm not sure if I got into the second last door correctly or not - I was stuck on opening it for a while, but then I decided to just run into it to see if I could abuse the collision detection. I am not sure if it was because I had nitro, since I didn't use it at the time I got through, but I finally did it at least. Then the last door was relatively easy compared to that.
At first I was unsure whether or not I could reach anything, haha. It has a nice atmosphere, and the sounds and perspective work really well. Although I explored most of the map, I was unable to finish the game. It was too hard, unfortunately. You should explain it better in the description here. The main problem is how long it takes to get across the map. I understand why you thought this was a good idea, and it does add to the atmosphere, but when you have no directions, it becomes frustrating when you must go back and forth. As for graphics, they could have been textured at least, but it is LD after all. It's a good entry. I'll conclude by stating that the mouse was cute.
Really well polished for an LD game! Good job. It's yet-another-idle-clicker, but I love these games!
I enjoyed this. Smooth gameplay and interesting idea. Nice graphics, although I noticed some minor rendering issues.
It's an alright game, but getting items from shelves is a pain. It requires multiple attempts to properly collide with the shelf to get items, and that is enough time to get caught.
Haha, that's certainly one way to take on the theme. Fun little game.
Very creative game, both from your end and the player's end. :)
I love the graphics and audio, but man is it challenging! Really nice submission :)
Thanks for the feedback everyone. @kyperbelt Oops, it tries to spawn objects in the wall chunk, but there are no empty tiles. Infinite loop! Hopefully few reach that point anyway. :)
Thanks so much @balance686 :)
@altron Thanks for playing! I agree with you. The start is too hard, and the end is too easy. :)
@secretpocketcat Thanks for the feedback. Never played Nuclear Throne though :) The genres are listed in the description: arcade + procedural generation
Great job on the humor and audio, I loved playing this. It got a bit annoying after a while though, as I was always lead onto the path of not having enough parts. The game really punishes you for misclicks. Oh, and there was a missing word in a message I believe. It should have said 'database', but didn't, and I had to look at the color of the chips.
I had a ton of fun playing this! Too bad it's censored ;)
The first match was almost tied, but I ended up winning, and I completely dominated the second match. I also tried out another character afterwards. Great job on this game! The bad graphics just makes it better (sorry?)
Really well polished game! One of the most well-rounded experiences I've had so far while playing the entries. :) It did get a bit annoying to reset all the time though.
I enjoyed the game! Shame it's so short, I'd love to play more of this. :)
I love how you mixed the text input to make a fastpaced platformer, instead of making it somewhat "command after command". Really good job on the theme, as it works really well. I wish the levels would be a tiny bit more visible (zoomed out), but other than that it was enjoyable. :)
This is my type of game. I love how intuitive it is to learn! Simplistic graphics, but it works quite well. The music is also quite soothing. :)
Fun game, and funny too. I love the music. :)
It took me a few tries until I understood what I was supposed to do. This is pretty interesting though! I like the concept, and I think you used the theme well.
Great job, man! I like the interpretation of the theme, and this is a well executed entry. :)
Interesting use of the theme, but I found this really difficult. Good job though, it feels finished.
I like the aesthetics of this game, and the tutorial is pretty amusing. :) Too bad you did not get to finish the game, but o'well, that's LD!
Well, +1 for creativity! Amusing little game, although it does gets boring after some minutes. :)
