HAH, this game reminds me Braid. really good job. Also I failed in level 4, it's too much for my brain hahaha

This is my type of game. I love how intuitive it is to learn! Simplistic graphics, but it works quite well. The music is also quite soothing. :)

Loved the puzzles and the aesthetics! Reminded me of Talos Principle, but not exactly, which is a good thing. Nice work!

@AfroAnt thanks for your playthrough and comments! My sincere apologies for the lack of Frost Giants ;p

This was fantastic. My only complaint is the name of the file i downloaded. Preferably, it's preferred if you include the name of your game in the .zip, also don't just have it named Win32, because that could be anything.

sempiternal 2018-04-25 15:26

@blobo It was a common complaint, sorry about that! I've re-uploaded archives to the itch.io with proper names just now! Thanks for playing!

Really great game in my opinion! Good idea and good execution. Beautiful simplistic graphics, I enjoyed playing it.

This is a super clever idea, well done! My only critique would be that the movement axes seemed to fight the actual plane of movement - they were offset by 45 degrees, so walking in a straight line on the diagonal surfaces was kind of weird. I had to keep alternating pressing w/d or s/a so I wouldn't fall off the edge. Overall though, really great idea and execution!

Very solid entry. Super clever concept that was executed very well. If you polished and expanded this game, I think it would definitely be worth being sold. :) Great job!

Wow! Great idea and solid gameplay! One of the best games I have seen so far.

annie-owl 2018-04-26 08:43

Wow, man! Really clever puzzles, absolutely loved them. And this background music! 😆 It would be nice if you add some transparency to the walls that hide the player character. It's not a big problem, but it would have been nicer to be able to see your character at all times.

Amazing! 5 star. Best puzzle on ld.

This is the first time I saw a game like this. I love the idea and concept of the game. I like the minimal graphics and audio. I think the game is kind of difficult. So far this is the best puzzle game I played on LD41. Overall you did a great job on this game

super cool concept...a few times my ghost behaved differently..because of physics i gues ?? anyway it added a bit of extra difficulty which was actually fun..Nice thought out puzzles!

bartosz 2018-05-02 06:33

Movement feels weird form me, apart from that - cool concept and execution.

Btw - how did you make thiis 'glitch' like ghosts? They are super cool :)

It is really great! I like the idea of "time shift", and the black humor! But I don't get which two genres are inside while playing...

sempiternal 2018-05-03 01:41

@Lotus The idea was to make a **co-op game** for **one player** ;p

@Bartosz it's some vertex position offsets. It's pretty situational and the effect would depend on a number of verticies on a given model, but since I was only pretty much using it twice in the game I didn't bother creating a one-for-all use cases shader in 72 hours :D Here's a screenshot of Amplify Shader if you're curious: https://pasteboard.co/HjoAgPc.png

Wow, that's amazing ! I really enjoyed playing your game, I stopped at level 5 but I will continue next time, after testing other games ! Good job !

jin9310 2018-05-07 16:54

Awesome entry. Really cool concept and mechanics and I think that your attempt to make co-op singleplayer game went very well. I would love to see this expanded (more levels, sounds, graphics, puzzles, story), but with the content you have right now, you should be more than satisfied as it works and feels complete. Great job!
