Hmm, very short game. Fits the Theme quite good. If It was a bit harder to farm the materials so you'd actually need to worry about health and stuff, it could be quite a decent game.
Foon → Ludum Dare Explorer → LD45 → Deserted

@ausstein thanks for checking it! I planned to make one type of hostile animal to make things harder, but the time ran out.
A cool little survival game. I would have liked a standalone build because HTML5 seems to impact the performance. That said, the basics of a cool little crafting and survival game are all there. Good work! (Also, I built that boat and made it home... nice)
Nice game, it was a bit annoying to me, that the mouse didn't stay in the game. Also I didn't manage to kill the rabbits, is it possible with the axe?
The start of a survival game. I liked that you had rabbits jumping around which gave some life to the island, a crafting system in place, and an end goal (even if that goal was quite easy). The mouse problem @bytinggames mentions is the same for me, it would be great if you could lock the cursor whilst you're not in the inventory instead of it being visible and moving.
I think it would be interesting to see where this game could go, given you've deliberately kept the island quite small (which i think is a good thing). Maybe you could progress from small island to small island trying to get home. With each one presenting a new challenge such as the hostile animal you ran out of time to make.
I think this is quite a difficult genre to build in 3d in a few days so congrats on that!
@bytinggames, @kazatan the mouse problem only happens in the web build, I don't know why. It is possible to kill rabbits with the axe to get meat. You need to crouch (shift key) to be able to hit them. Thanks for the feedback!
Simple and entertaining game. I had trouble with the mouse not centering, but it was playable in fullscreen. Also, I think the rabbits turn into zombies after you kill them. I guess same reason as trees/stones, so you don't accidentally lose the game? :)
Nice game ! :D
@dib they disappear because I didn't have time to make ragdoll corpses and for trees and rocks I just didn't have a good idea what to do :)
@pio Ah, indeed they do. I must have got confused by the sheer number and speed of them, haha.
Impressive for only 72 hours to flesh out all the foundational pieces to a survival game! I enjoyed playing through it. The mouse not locking to the game window was a little frustrating, and I couldn't figure out how to select/place the campfire after I built it, but otherwise it was a good experience. It could have used a bit more polish, but that's asking a lot for the timeframe and your scope, again - my applause for what you accomplished in the time you had!
Got a little bit confused on how to use the game systems through the game's interface. Maybe you guys should take a look on some UI and UX tricks that could help a lot with the game improvements if you planning to keep working on. Congrats for the team!
I'm partial to survival games, so I thought it was quite good. There's some weird lighting stuff when using a hatchet on a tree
This is overall a okay little survival game.
