Controls could be tightened up. Great overall theming!
Very cool art style
I think your itch page isn't set up right. It needs to be public
Beautiful game
My eyes are bleeding from the colorful beauty of this game
Nicely done. Love the pixel style
Great job for your first jam
Nice pixel art!
Glad to see an Android game that I could actually play. Nicely done!
Great music
The game mechanics are super fluid and well done
I liked the muted colors. The whole thing reminds me of getting the princess through the sewers in link to the past.
If you're having trouble beating the game, try investing points into block talents and using the block + counter to stun your opponents
@squirmonkey you didn't 'lose' exactly, you probably just sold all of your remaining years to get the title. The point of the game is the deal with the devil.
@squirmonkey ha oh whoops
@0x01f0 Good eye! The more pacts you forge the more shadowy figures and hooded cultists appear in the crowd.
@rancoud The idea behind the upgrades is that you are spending the remaining life you have left to live and once its gone you don't have anymore and can't get anymore. As for the dodge, we're retuning some of the stats to try and fix that.
The melee was difficult. The little shadow monster that goes in the ground seems like it can only be hit with darts.
What a pretty game
I like the idea of having the greedy pig get slowed down by eating too much
Unbelievable variety of enemies. So much content in such a short time!
We decided to go with a different idea but originally my idea was a plant man who grew plants from parts of him self. Cool implementation of a similar idea!
Beautiful game. The glow effects are breathtaking
sheep farts and rainbow effects were cool.
Really cool concept.
Nice models and graphics.
@magnus-l dark moods are alright
@theufo thanks for the feedback. The control scheme was because we simultaneously competed in MiniJam 38 whose themes were Food and Arrow Keys Only
Hard to figure out what you're supposed to do. Could do with a tutorial or 'draw here' thing at the bottom.
I liked this game and played it longer than I'll in spite of several things, chief among them being the sound, dog.
This was great. It was a really good concept, the pixel art is GOOD pixel art not just low poly but low poly that paints a good picture. The music and overall audio was smooth. The ONLY problem is a little bit of bugginess with the jumping physics. Sometimes it seems like the guy isn't getting grounded properly. Otherwise outstanding effort.
Visuals were terrific, gameplay was a little stiff. Could use the ability to take back a move.
Enough people have mentioned the controls to where I'll lay off. I bet it feels good to make a game from start to finish though, eh?
Nice take on a 3D roguelike!
Catchy!
Cool particle effects.
Big mood
To the two comments so far, I reuploaded with a slight tweak to the lighting to hopefully make everything less dark.
@lmb 48 hours is way too much of a time constraint for a boss fight. Additionally, if I put a boss at the end of 12 floors no one would ever see it other than you.
@mudlee ghosts are totally killable and they take sanity rather than health.
@ardorugus here.png
Good job on level design
wow! by some strange coincidence, this looks eerily similar to a project I worked on a while back, but yours is more fleshed out than mine was.Screenshot 2021-04-30 101327.png
I think you're link may be wrong. If you have an itch page we need a link to it instead.
Something like: yourname.itch.io/your-game
the ds stuff really intrigued me.
I like the look of the perspective models
Thanks for making this a browser game
Nice little game with a GTA feel. Its one of these that the graphics sort of bely how well the game mechanics work.
Sometimes there's a game that I would love to watch played by someone with real skill at it.
I had my doubts about this system, figuring it would be klunky to use, but not only did I take to it right away, there were times that I hit a smooth series of movements and felt some real thrill of fun.
I made a verbal sound *whoo* at one point.
Congratulations on the very rare accomplishment of making something that's fun to play even if it is limited in scope.
Terrific. Stirring is awful, everything else is reasonably smooth. Well designed levels. Great Entry.
Interesting concept. Needs a bit of work for controls
Really cool concept!
Very nice artwork and smooth animation and mechanics. You've got a very good idea here and I want this to succeed, so a few things. 1. Having this in a web format defeats the purpose of the whole thing unless you add some way to use launch params in the web interface. 2. The shortcut you provide is relative to the locations on YOUR machine, you need to find a way to make it relative to whereever the user extracted the game.
But keep after this, because this was a good idea!
@candlesan Finally, a perfect comment. Nah, thanks everyone for the feedback. Yes, Factorio was a big inspiration along with the old SC2 mod Desert Strike. I would have loved to have more features like splitters and underground belts and a tutorial (the closest I could get was having one microbot factory set up), but 2 days is pretty rough!
@diego-escalante Ideally, if this game were going to see further development, it would have levels with different requirements and restrictions so that you could ease the player into each type of bot and factory piece, but for Ludum Dare this pretty much had to be a self contained thing.
@parker-nalch I debated about having a wave start button, but since you don't use any resources for the factory components it kind of made the game too easy imo. What I did instead was base the amount of units that the enemy spawns on the amount you spawned in the previous wave.
@ubershmekel yes! Finally a comment about the music! I make my music in GarageBand on an iPad and I encourage everyone to do the same!
Killer music!
Really innovative concept.
Lots of nice cinematic features
wild concept, great execution
Super good looking art, fluid controls. Lots of polish
props for making the audio yourself but maybe turn it down a bit. the artwork evoked a pleasant comfort.
Very nice ambitious project
Really solid effort for the time you had
Scaling difficulty is super difficult given how little time and engagement you get in most jam submissions. Great job anyhow!
Very cute game
Good to see more horror games!
Very nice graphics, the audio is good but its a little harsh. I got excited when I saw the p1 vs p2 and thought it was online, but alas.
I played to level 3. One quick and easy change you could make that I feel like would be a game changer is just having some sort of preview of the piece you're about to drop. Maybe in the shape of a cross since you can drop a flat or up and down piece
Pretty funny game, I didn't have the fps lag as bad.
Terrific effort. Flawless minimalist art coupled with tight gameplay and professional quality music and sound. Check out my full review at https://www.twitch.tv/scalphamission
you had me at taking a dump in a video game. I've lived the dream. check out my full review at https://www.twitch.tv/scalphamission
Check out my live review at https://www.twitch.tv/scalphamission. Glad to have you on the stream!
@tiny-pig and @linnet5 I agree that the main deficiency of this game is the lack of challenge and there's no goal other than shoot at the asteroids. As far as the A and D thing, originally I didn't even have that in there as this was meant to be a touch only game but I figured PC people would immediately complain about not being able to move so I just shoehorned it in.
@david-york Thanks I put what I felt like was overkill into the asteroid generation. I can make an X x Y size asteroid programmatically.
Bee Tee Dubs if anyone is wondering whether its possible, I just did a Sonic Wave only run and its both hilarious and effective!

@tano @skleembof you are correct missiles are crazy OP. I highly recommend doing another run where you try to avoid taking them. I have played through with every combination of stuff and each one feels unique (see my above screenshot of the wave run. I know I'm biased though.
Terrific visuals and thrilling gameplay check out my review at https://www.twitch.tv/scalphamission
This was an incredible display of art and animation. The narrative was a little muddy but the mood and audio and everything was peerless. https://www.twitch.tv/scalphamission for my full review
I ended up not being able to review your game today due to an influx of live requests but it will be at the top of my queue tomorrow afternoon around 4:30 EST. https://www.twitch.tv/scalphamission
Hey I just reviewed your game on stream at https://www.twitch.tv/scalphamission I agree with others that this is a good idea with not the best execution as of yet but it does have potential!
Hey sorry I didn't get to your game last night, but I reviewed your game on my stream today at https://www.twitch.tv/scalphamission
Cool little mystical thing you got goin here man.. Check out my review at https://www.twitch.tv/scalphamission
Lots of cool elements and some really slick stuff but the soul crushing difficulty makes it hard to get into it. https://www.twitch.tv/scalphamission for my full review.
I just finished reviewing your game live at https://www.twitch.tv/scalphamission check out my review and well done with your first Ludum Dare!
I just reviewed your game on my stream check out my full review at https://www.twitch.tv/scalphamission I would prefer typing with both hands but I get why we did the left hand only so that there could be mouse interaction (no pun intended).
Solid entry that could use a few mechanical punch ups. Check out my review at https://www.twitch.tv/scalphamission
Really cool start to something much bigger than a 2 day jam can really deliver. Check out my review at https://www.twitch.tv/scalphamission
The physics gets hilarious quickly. Check out my full review at https://www.twitch.tv/scalphamission
I just finished review your game at https://www.twitch.tv/scalphamission. The bar being at the bottom kind of draws our eye from the terrific artwork that is happening in the center and im not crazy about the overall mechanic. I have some ideas of how to punch it up if you're interested.
I reviewed your game live at https://www.twitch.tv/scalphamission, Thanks for coming and hanging out. I'd be interested to see this fleshed out into a mobile game!
Really cool concept. I gave it a good play before my daughter crashed my stream. check out my live review at https://www.twitch.tv/scalphamission
@100th-coin I'm streaming jam reviews and i did a live react to your video here. check out my live review at https://www.twitch.tv/scalphamission If you want to give it another go and check out some of those other places, it does have a save game feature so you should pick back up where you left off.
bit weird. bit really weird. l ots ofissues wi thker ning. check out my live review at https://www.twitch.tv/scalphamission
This deserves all the stars for innovation. I truly would never have thought to do this. check out my live review at https://www.twitch.tv/scalphamission
bit silly. the controls need a lot of work, maybe tighten up hit boxes make everything less floaty etc etc. check out my live review at https://www.twitch.tv/scalphamission
fast paced and fun. needs a few difficulty tweaks. glad to see you on the stream check out my live review at https://www.twitch.tv/scalphamission
it felt a bit like the back and forth with the packages wasn't nearly responsive enough to keep up with the multiple inbound packages at once. check out my live review at https://www.twitch.tv/scalphamission
that was weird. humnans are very interesting. check out my live review at https://www.twitch.tv/scalphamission
Pretty janky physics wise, but I like the color choices. check out my live review at https://www.twitch.tv/scalphamission
I actually managed to get quite a lot of idle automation going. My only complaint is that the vignette around the main area felt unnecessary. check out my live review at https://www.twitch.tv/scalphamission
