Helmet Man by Sevadusk 2025-04-13T21:38:18Z ♥ 1

Had a lot of fun playing the game on stream here: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/2429489125?t=1h27m24s

I would love to see some number popups when you collect things or loose points as I definitely did not understand I was loosing 100 points by hitting a bat lol.

I think it's a very innovative mechanic that I enjoyed using in interesting ways!

Had a lot of fun playing on stream here: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/2429489125?t=0h52m38s

I think it'd be an interesting idea to have diving charge the slow-down stamina bar. Then you'd have to go fast to go slow.

I did have a lot of fun and kept "one more time"ing it on stream which is always the mark of a fun game!

Had a great time playing through this game here: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/2429489125?t=1h7m23s

I would love to be able to hear the fish sneak up on me to some degree. Just taking damage out of the blue felt bad.

Once I knew the fish were there, however, I really enjoyed the combat. Spear was fun to use and it felt so good to nail a fish with a spear throw and watch it blow up. The whole sub combat section kinda blew my mind that you were able to get that in. Well done!

I really enjoyed getting better at this game as I played. That felt super satisfying. I also think there are some really fun little flows in the level design that just feel so good to nail. Excellent job!

Very similar to our game in the whole idle natural resource extraction thing. I think making it a little clearer how much each one is bringing back would go a long ways. Personally I'm partial to little numbers that float up and fade away where they deposit.

Absolutely love the art, I think the pacing and progression could use a little smoothing out. I liked Rhoka's idea of having the speech bubble show a target fish that helps progress the player.

Hi played on stream here's the timestamped vod: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/2428803190?t=0h18m31s

I really enjoyed this one, especially now as I reflect on it. I really enjoyed the central mechanic had a lot of fun using it. My only critique would the controls were a bit unintuitive and I kept mixing up jump and teleport. Other than that I really enjoyed my time with this one. Loved the graphics!

Immaculate vibes!

The Signal by OddballDave 2023-10-03T14:04:27Z ♥ 1

Love the vibe! I do wish that the controls allowed for strafing left and right. It's such a muscle memory for me and I think it would be very helpful for seeing some of the things you're trying to avoid.

Bonzios SP 9.5 by LChaves 2023-10-03T13:48:11Z ♥ 1

Love the style! My team made a game in a similar style for a similar theme (Running out of Space) many LDs ago [here](https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/42/clippys-awakening). I do wish there was some tutorialization. The how to play is a ton of text to read and I didn't remember any of it when actually playing other than drag file to recycling bin and then emptying it.

The Last Sanctuary by Luc Magitem 2023-10-03T13:31:07Z ♥ 1

Cool concept! For UI scaling the easy but not so great fix is change Project Settings > General > Display > Window > Stretch > Mode to Viewport. Not ideal but it will stretch the UI elements on bigger screens. The text was very difficult for me to read.

FROUST! by Kupnu4 2023-10-03T13:06:20Z ♥ 2

SENSATIONS by etrealjunior 2022-10-05T15:08:52Z ♥ 3

Very innovative mechanics that I really enjoyed playing through. Progressively getting more and more drunk while on such a sharp timer means you really have to master the level in order to beat it. I was a little bit confused as to what finishing the level was at first just because I happened to die right as I reached the portal for the first time, but I think that was on me and not the game.

I also loved the aggresive bright visuals. A unique visual style that really gave the game some flavor.

It'd be interesting to give a little more openess to how to solve each level such that players would need to choose what to do first while mostly sober and what parts of the level can be done later while drunk as a skunk.

Dr. Word's Machine by Kaish 2022-10-05T15:01:39Z ♥ 5

Very creative and interesting puzzle, if a little difficult. I do wish it was a bit easier to pick up the things as with the time limit I'm sometimes trying to move things around quickly and it sucks when you accidentally leave something in the wrong room and have to wait for that room to come around again.

Wildfire by LaserPanzerWal 2022-04-20T00:55:46Z ♥ 1

Wow, this one was pretty stressful in a fun way! That might also be because I've had to evacuate for wildfires before so it hits a little close to home.

Loved the mechanics and I really loved the tutorial. I do feel that the game as a whole moves a little too slow, especially the first level. I would half the time it takes to put out fires with the firetrucks (then maybe speed up the fire to compensate). Had a few weird sound things happen but otherwise I didn't encounter any bugs.

Not everyday you see a mobile game in LD. I feel like the mobile version is definitely a lot better than the web. The controls on web just feel clunky and slow. However @aevek did play it on his phone during our stream and reported that it felt much better. I think if I were to suggest a change it'd be to make the enemy dudes not push you back like the rocks do.

Absolutely loved the visuals. Gameplay was fun too! More in our video.

LD47 — Stuck in a loop (8)

Inter-Dimensional Monster Jumper by EvilScotsman 2020-10-06T19:02:28Z ♥ 0

I personally really enjoyed the floaty movement and just flying around and shooting things. Definitely wish there was more game. I think it would be very cool if you played around a bit more with the repeating level concept and like put a bunch of enemies in place that you can only shoot indirectly or something like that.

Bad Skeleton & the Time Police by waynetron 2020-10-06T18:54:33Z ♥ 1

Simple but elegant and well executed. I find I must agree with my fellow Vaguely Damp droplet on all accounts. Very well done!!!

Eternal Voyage by Pluisjen 2020-10-06T18:05:28Z ♥ 0

Having the same issue as these other two.lderror.png

Hoop Knight by lectvs 2020-10-06T15:49:17Z ♥ 2

Fantastic little game as the others have said! I love how the hoop gets that blue glow when it can do damage but I think it'd be really cool if it also made a sound.

Clockmaker by Tristan Mansfield 2020-10-06T15:16:00Z ♥ 3

Really cool concept and puzzles! Plus the art is just gorgeous! My only complaint is that there should be a way to reset the level if you manage to get yourself stuck somewhere.

Crazy Trains by Falzock 2020-10-06T14:37:05Z ♥ 2

Definitely had a lot of fun with this. I wish it was a bit more clear about the consequences of your actions. Like I didn't realize that you could send a train down the wrong end but you just wouldn't get as many points? Also at one point my loop filled up because none of the stations were taking any of the trains I had, and I think this was losing?

In any case I think there's a lot of potential for this sort of puzzle and it's a great use of the theme!

ORBIDRONE by bixarrio 2020-10-06T14:21:46Z ♥ 2

Cool concept. Definitely could have benefited from some light tutorialization. I didn't realize that after you buy a gun you have to click on one of the hex tiles for the longest time till I accidentally clicked.

Without My Arms by killerkun 2020-10-06T02:16:09Z ♥ 1

Wonderfully done! The tongue physics are fantastic!

LD45 — Start with nothing (5)

Day Zero by Emma B 2019-10-10T23:22:12Z ♥ 1

Very cool beautiful game. My only grip is that I wish I could see my progress the whole time not just when I achieve something new.

wallpunch by Aurel300 2019-10-10T23:13:52Z ♥ 1

Love the polish, the procedural generation, and the sound! I think the combat is a little lacking could maybe use something like dodging or something to spice it up a bit. Well done!

Spam Space To Exist by Wheffle 2019-10-10T22:54:49Z ♥ 2

Cool concept, I think it'd be really cool if you could control the turrets a bit more so it isn't just about finding smaller stuff to absorb. Also good to see you around again @wheffle

Solar Grid by svntax 2019-10-08T02:48:58Z ♥ 1

Unless you cheese it it's very difficult to get started. Switching to turrets and shooting correctly in time is very difficult. Fun though. I think with some improvement to the controls and maybe automating some things this could be even better.

Pimp my voxel by TheoG 2019-10-08T02:26:40Z ♥ 1

Really cool concept! The camera and rotation (in build) are the two things that definitely could be improved.

LD44 — Your life is currency (1)

Marvin by Avon 2019-05-08T04:11:49Z ♥ 1

Fun little game, the art was very good.

My biggest compliant is the lack of a cursor so aiming feels pretty bad. Also I think a little thing that would so much would be some sort of feedback on a hit vs a miss. Cool idea though and I could see the adjusting levels of health versus energy in combat being a lot of fun.

LD43 — Sacrifices must be made (1)

Devil Cult Party by frankiesmileshow 2018-12-06T02:51:27Z ♥ 1

Loved it! My only criticism is that the controls are extremely unintuitive.

LD42 — Running out of space (7)

Compactory by VivianMochi 2018-08-16T05:30:05Z ♥ 1

This game is really cool. But with a little more tutorialization and even just a little sound/music it would be fantastic!

AGAIN by Colorfiction 2018-08-16T01:41:18Z ♥ 0

I feel like this would be really awesome if the game had some direction. Like if it was an endless runner or something. Either the visuals and audio were great!

BlinkyWay by Diaxcor 2018-08-16T01:34:16Z ♥ 0

I'm having a lot of issues with colliding on invisible things? Or maybe just the gate is really sensitive? Idk.

Extremely well polished except for the aforementioned issues.

Tale of the Bagger: A Love Story by trozen 2018-08-14T02:53:19Z ♥ 1

Absoulutly fantastic everything. Biggest critique for me is that failure should have more informative feedback

Personal Space by ProdigalSon 2018-08-14T02:23:53Z ♥ 2

Fantastically well polished and built out. I wish the pathfinding was more consistent and/or controllable. Everything else was awesome though!!

PIM : Product Input Management by ixuz 2018-08-14T01:59:20Z ♥ 3

Freaking awesome game! There's a few issues with the early game and the core mechanics but if those were fixed this would very much worth paying for.

Compactor Bot Escape by Siarhei Pilat 2018-08-14T00:56:24Z ♥ 2

Great progression and tutorialization! Models and music are simple but fit together very well into a cohesive style.

LD41 — Combine 2 Incompatible Genres (10)

ShootEm? by Merrol 2018-04-25T03:38:10Z ♥ 2

This is insane! Like actually insane. I don't even understand what could possess a person to make a game like this. I am very happy I got to play this game. What an unique experience!

VRn't by Michael Clavell 2018-04-25T02:02:52Z ♥ 3

Love the concept and gameplay! I didn't learn that w was jump for far too long though...

Judgement Day: The Board Game by hhsaez 2018-04-25T01:09:08Z ♥ 2

I would love graphical indicators of health and action points as well as some more choice! This seems like a custom built engine which if true is very impressive.

BunkerDefense by UnlikelyNomad 2018-04-24T21:03:23Z ♥ 1

Like the concept. Took my quite a while to realize there were multiple cameras. Got to 332 total scrap. Some sounds are a bit... idk.. not nice to listen to I guess. Great job!

Magic and Machines by tigerj 2018-04-24T20:37:35Z ♥ 1

Definitely enjoyable. It would be great if there was a more central indicator of what spell you have and what not. I found that lining up the right spell to use next took away all of my attention from the rest of the game. Also maybe visual indicators that you're taking damage would be nice too. Well done!

Reverse by MrJake7X 2018-04-24T20:25:48Z ♥ 0

Loved the graphics! Maybe you should change the symbol for tab as a control as it took me forever to figure it out lol. Also maybe it would be nice if you could teleport one character to another so that you don't have to spend so much time walking the same path. That might also break some stuff though so idk.

discardagain by blackoptics8 2018-04-24T19:59:58Z ♥ 0

Cool concept and pretty fun, hard to understand though.

A Carpenter's Tale by DeadlyMidnight 2018-04-24T05:01:03Z ♥ 2

Great idea very well done!

The Devil's Cabbage by EckyYakov 2018-04-24T04:48:23Z ♥ 2

Very fun! Great combination of genres and fun to play. The little voice overs are a little weird though.

Chungholio Tower by SlimothyJ 2018-04-24T02:48:48Z ♥ 1

I think the biggest issue is the controls feel super loose. Oh and feed back when you get hit would be great. Great job though!

LD39 — Running out of Power (1)

Probably A Capable Rhythm Game by New Sock Smell 2017-08-01T02:19:41Z ♥ 1

I literally made an account just to comment on this one game.

I really really enjoyed this. Like a lot. Like a lot a lot.

I mean yeah there's not much polish but it felt decent enough for LD. And most importantly really really fun, and in my opinion that's the hardest and most important part. Music was fantastic so props for that. I loved the two different hands doing different things, but that could be the marimba player in me. I think if you made the whole screen pulse to the beat that'd be awesome, but also I never really looked at the thing in the bottom. Also there's very little connection to the theme. I only saw the meter on the left on my second play though.

But I can't stress how much I really enjoyed playing this game. Fantastic job!!!
