The retro pc vibe here is so cool, love it
I really love the visual feedback and the overall idea of the game!
The web link is not actually a web game
@gargantuan-janitor yes we add it later
What an incredibly cozy and... stunning? – visual style... especially at the start – the loading screen emulation :) You’re amazing! I’ll definitely try to play it >< I really love visuals with trees/checkpoints like that :)
@2009yasha2009 Thank u <3 I love it to. Have fun!
looks soo coolll!amazing job!!
Dynamic effect look very nice!

I like the game's visuals, but I'm struggling to figure out how to play. I've leveled up, but how do I attack enemies?/(ㄒoㄒ)/~~
Ok so comparing my gameplay to the video here, it looks like you sacrifice health to attack enemies? And the only way to get back to the upgrading screen is by dying? I like the visuals but I feel the gameplay is a bit counter-intuitive (I spent 5 minutes avoiding the squares only to realise that I only gain data when I get hurt). Maybe to make the player understand, replace the health with something like ammo, and you gain data from attacking the squares by going in them? That would be more logical, and there would be a new way of dying somehow that actually penalises the player.
Also, since dying is a necessary step every time and it looks like you don't loose anything, the gameplay doesn't really feel impacting since there aren't really any stakes or threats.
Visually like I said, it's really nice and polished, but it might even be a bit too much: the upgrade windows should be easier to read, and look somewhat different, else they tend to blend in and lose impact (not to mention that it'd be nice to have them close when you open another one, it's really easy to cover your whole screen if you're too lazy to close them like me)(not that important, just small QOL stuff :)) Maybe less text around the important parts overall would improve readability.
Again, very polished visuals, and a lot of potential for what could be a great game :)
PS: I didn't get the connection with the theme, apart from the name of the game
This display screen style is really cool!
really cool and eye catching graphics love the approach you took
I love vibe of this game!
I love vibe of this game!
Interesting idea. But some bugs have occurred or some annoying problems, causing me to have difficulty playing. 1) I tried to attack multiple enemies at once, but it can easily cause the game to crash. 2) No save. When (1) occurs, I will lose all progress. 3) When I drag the attack window to the top-left of screen, it will be covered by the UI, making I can't drag it anymore. 4) When I check the upgrade windows, they have opened too much. So that I need to click X to close them one by one. Suggest right clicking to close a window.
I could not finish my playthrough because the game crashed :c Though i somehow got infinite data at some point :D Pasted image.png
But i really love the visuals ^^
interesting concept! i like sound design and art style. but the gameplay itself is hard to understand. i didn't understand what was required of me and why i needed to spend HP to win a round. maybe adding a tutorial to the game or at least to the game description on the site would be great!
@aniretti @le-knallfrosch @leophyte @youzi Thanks for your advice, I'll try to update the game today!
The idea is really unique and interesting — it’s a vampire-like game, but with a fresh twist. And the UI? I won’t even start — that’s the star of the show. Awesome work!
Love the visuals and the main concept. Unfortunately i wasn't able to play much of it because of some kind of bug :/
@aniretti @le-knallfrosch @leophyte @youzi @mikan Thank you very much for your feedback. Based on it I made corrections! If you want you can try to play again.
@gargantuan-janitor We have added WebGL version
Thank you! I'll check it out
Loved the vibe of this game and had a great time with it, always cool to see a roguelite in a jam. Great work!
Really fun and addicting game, I can see it faring really well! I really love the art style and computer theme. The upgrade windows not closing automatically when clicking another upgrade is a bit frustrating. Also found a bug where if you kill the big purple and there are still "data" points laying around the next time you play they'll still be there.
Looking good! It took me a while to get what I need to do is this game. All the addiction is in numbers!
The visuals and audio are excellent, really dig the vibe. The gameplay took a bit to figure out, the gif you have included is very helpful, so thank you for that! Very creative entry overall.
Love the game, the sounds are fantastic and fit. The game is very fun and polished. I love the fact that you can open multiple upgrade windows and they stay open after each run.
Great game! A little hard to know what you need to do to progress but seemed very polished and well done.
Interesting game. I'm not a huge fan of tech tree games but I ended up playing this for like half an hour. I wish there was a bit more to the early game other than just suicide attacking until you have enough health to defeat the blue guy. I enjoyed the visuals a lot.
@gargantuan-janitor Thank you, we are already thinking about how to develop the game in the future)
took me a min to figure out what to do but once I did it was pretty cool. nice graphics!
I really really enjoyed playing till it crashed. Please please please upload a windows build that can go full screen so I can play. Here's a link form the vod when we played on stream: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/2427848024?t=2h30m2s
Nice looking game. Had me hooked on figuring things out.
And I was still figuring things out when it crashed. Uncaught RuntimeError: memory access out of bounds
Before that happened there seemed to be data from the previous round that hadn't been collected. Maybe related?
@dstoc thank you, that's a good guess, I'll check it right now
Nice visuals! Great game!
@dstoc @bartholomheow @mikan Thanks for the feedback, we fixed the crashes, now the game is much more stable. If you still want to, you can check it out) We are very sorry that we couldn't do it right the first time! But we are trying)
I like the style. I think music won't be unnecessery, maybe some type of beep-boop music or even "programming lo-fy". Good work, you should be proud of yourself)
@maslinka27 thanks for playing There is music playing in the background, it's just quiet so as not to interfere with relaxation)
The game is very attractive visually. I wasn't a fan of needing to press the X on the windows to close them, clicking on the icon again ought to be enough to close them. I had a pretty good time with the game until I felt that I wasn't really approaching a goal and it seemed that I was my upgrade progress was bottlenecked from the need of a ridiculous amount of data. Not to say I didn't enjoy my time with the game. I think it turned out very well! :)
Loved the visuals and the concept! It caught my eye immediately when I saw it come by on the frontpage posts page on Saturday. Loved that I got to play it!
And thanks for hopping on the stream!
@alvaron and thank you very much for playing
Had lots of fun playing and the visuals are really good and the music is decent, but maybe when ever you click on a different upgrade the other tabs close? just a suggestion.
Great style! Great game play! I like old TV screen stylisation!
Really cool-looking game with great aesthetics! It has a super chill vibe and the upgrade mechanic is pretty engaging. Everything feels really polished, fantastic entry!
It's better after bug fixes. Does the game seem to have no clear ending? Or I have encountered some problems. After I reach a certain progress, the game doesn't seem to become more and more difficult. In this progress, every time I attack, I recover my health instead of deducting it. Snipaste_2025-04-11_22-24-56.PNG Snipaste_2025-04-11_22-25-44.PNG btw, I found that I collected data with the mouse instead of the attack window. I thought all gameplay revolves around the attack window, lol. Attacking with one window and collecting data with another window may be a new and innovative gameplay idea.
@mikan Wow, thanks for devoting so much time to the game! Yes, I also noticed that the balance is lame, in the game every 5 bosses the cycle starts over, but multiplies all the parameters by (4.5 * Cycle) Probably the progression does not correspond to the enemies) The idea with the collection window is good, we wanted to do it, but people already have a hard time understanding what to do ( And yes, there are no twist endings in the game.
very stylish and fresh! not quite fits the theme, but who cares)
That was pretty fun, so nice work! :heartpulse:
Now that's retro done well. It's so different compared to the other games that I had to pause to process it lol xD
