I love how the torch gets covered when you duck. Cute.

> If arrow keys could be used instead of WASD that would be great since I’ve accidentally closed the tab multiple times with Ctrl + W
@solmaris I also closed the game trying to duck :face_palm:
Switching to full screen is a workaround - ctrl+w shouldn't close the tab then.
:mind-blown:
Nice neon. Pretty fun gameplay.
It's a little bit awkward when you go between rooms that the mouse causes you to face the opposite direction.
Nice. Has potential. Even this much was fun. I don't like bats, but I do like coins.
The game has a great feel, but I was a little bit lost what the objective was. First run I didn't understand that I had to press space for sonar. But that didn't seem to be an issue, I could see the enemies with enough time to avoid them.
If the main objective is to get deeper, I would expect there to be upgrades to help get deeper faster. Otherwise if I'm not using the sonar I'm just spending most of my time waiting to descend with very little effort to dodge the enemies.
The concept and feel is great though. This could turn into something great.
Pretty fun.
Something felt a little off with the swinging controls. I understood them but still wanted to press the other direction too early.
I think I saw the rope tighten around a corner, that's neat -- but didn't have much use for it. Would be nice to have some puzzles crafted that make use of it somehow.
The depth indicator/target really helped encourage me to keep going.
Nice work!
Somehow cathartic. I was worried that it would be hard to find the last dwarf, but it was not a problem :joy:
I finally reached the end! My reflexes weren't good enough that I had to start to memorize the layouts. The Jurassic level seemed the hardest.
Loved it. The music is a good fit.
Nice looking game. Had me hooked on figuring things out.
And I was still figuring things out when it crashed. Uncaught RuntimeError: memory access out of bounds
Before that happened there seemed to be data from the previous round that hadn't been collected. Maybe related?
Nice feel.
But, I got a bit lost. I think I found the toy but then I couldn't find any way off that platform/level? 2025-04-07_21-09.png

If I have only one move_forward it takes the item, but if there are more (like in the screenshot) it doesn't take it?
It was on the third level, I was able to reproduce it just now:

I think this game is pretty cool though, and a good fit for the theme.
The UI is a bit awkward though, a lot of clicking to configure things and tiles can get removed if you accidentally drag them on top of existing commands. Would be neat to have an easier way to reposition the input/outputs -- something like ctrl+drag or mousewheel.
Very neat concept.
Gamepad support would be nice. I was hopeful when the gamepad got past the "press any key" screen.
Fun game, looks great. Was interesting figuring out the connection logic.
I couldn't figure out how to get past this point (not sure how to upgrade the shop further). Seems like it's not the end as there are more slots for batteries on the drill power.

Fun experience and mood.
I struggled with the controls in the beginning. Kept getting stuck on the sides and felt like it took too long to turn around. But certainly a game that you can build skill in and improve on future runs.
Sorry I don't understand.
I ran the "game" with https://nicolas-siplis.com/ironboy/
I see a pointer and I can move it around. If I press start I see some boxes of characters. But I can't figure out anything beyond that.
Interesting concept. I couldn't get quite get the right solution by myself, some of the differences were very subtle!
Yay, another golf game! Pretty solid, a fun but frustrating experience.
> This game is extremely difficult.
Yes, yes it is. I'm not sure I have the patience to ever finish this game. Also wow, the penalty for failing, wow :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:
Pretty cool, neat little loop. Style is great.
For a game that's largely about typing, would be nice if you could navigate the fishing interface using only the keyboard. Space to start fishing, auto-focus on the text field, clear the textfield if I guess the wrong thing. After several failed attempts, give some hints?
Took me a long time to figure out what to do with the cannon :stuck_out_tongue:
It's a start, looks great and I managed to get some satisfying multipliers!
(note, I wasn't able to load the embedded version in Chrome, I had to navigate directly to https://files.jam.host/embed/$407782/39590/index.html
It's a bit frustrating how a single error can softlock the game. Feels like movement needs to be faster, or have an undo key?
Some minor issues:
* speech audio was too loud for me * at some point I got stuck and could only click on the book, not ingredients
Good job finishing. Pretty relaxing game.
Loved it. Excellent concept.
Physics is hard... :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

This helped me with a similar problem (property on RigidBody2D):

I think ideally you would use "Cast Shape" but that doesn't seem to work for me at all...
Tight little game.
Music is great but loud! Really needs settings/volume controls!
I got game over when I placed the last tile, which just happened to complete a large mushroom cave. Shouldn't that continue?
@baknik
> Somehow I managed to lodge the ball outside of the play area
Yeah.. I don't understand why godot physics is acting like this  I made the collision areas larger, turned on continuous detection, upped the physics rate, and added larger bordering areas but somehow the ball can still slip through the tiles :anger:
> The zoom out is nice, but I found myself having to zoom in and out often. Having a dedicated minimap for the same purpose might work better.
@haykam, actually zoom wasn't meant to be part of the game. I forgot I added it for debugging  Minimap would be cool though!
Wild. It was pretty fun playing the game and figuring out what's going on without reading the instructions :stuck_out_tongue:
Music really adds to the feel.
Nice, very cohesive.
It is hard. After a few runs I did improve a little.
Would be nice if you could repeat the same run (maybe without the chance to increase high score) and see the previous path you took. I think that might help to get better faster.
