Good looking game. So similar to mine too, I should've been in the team!

Nice! Good puzzle, a little confusing at first but it keeps on going, I like it, thank you
Pretty fun! Fun carcassonne vibes. Took me three tries but managed to do it.

The onboarding could be a bit smoother besides being a wall of text. I did succumb to it after my first horrible try but didn't even find that much good information there. Like it wasn't mentioned anywhere that you can actually rotate the tiles. Or that the mushroom farms give you more tiles to play with. Both of which are pretty essential to succeeding. Some small pop/pulse animation on the tile amount when completing a farm section would have been a nice touch to drive that point home.
Would make more sense to penalize skip somehow as you might just as well now skip all curves when you don't need to turn and also 99% of the empty tiles. Didn't really figure out what the small ruby tiles do. I'm guessing they give you more "score" but didn't figure out how to trigger them. Seemed very rare too and on my final and obviously longest run didn't even see any. Would probably make more sense to have like "a deck" of tiles so you wouldn't be bitten by possible bad luck. Also would help estimating/counting whether it's the time to close a mush farm to keep growing it for a few more tiles (seemed like the plus you gain is exponential).
Also two of my three runs started off giving me a mushroom block that was completely impossible to place at the start. The invisible biome change border also was kinda mean as it can easily mess up your mushroom farm.
But yeah, fun stuff. Good job! 👍
Really thematic and cohesive tiles and art. New look of tiles on lower level was a really cool touch.
Maybe add a tip that you turn the tiles, i didnt realize this at after restaring 1 time already. (Maybe im just dumb :D)
The help guide was nice and teaches the mechanics but it kinda breaks the immersion when I need to scroll down to look to remind what was i supesed to do. This isint usually a big problem, but since the game was pretty smooth and nice otherwise, it stood out to me. And there was quite a lot of examples given also.
The tile laying of caves is nice but the road laying felt little flat since you were supposed to go only down? (Guesss there was additional mechanics planned or i didnt encounter them)
Felt pretty carcassony in a good way and the tiles matched nicely, I really liked this.
Wow! A cool mashup of Carcassonne and maybe Saboteur)
Once you get the hang of this it's a blast. I got to the end and just wanted to keep going! Great little strategy puzzler. Definitely going to be one of my favorites. Awesome work!
Really cool Time killer :)
Very cool game, I like everything and the idea itself, although it seems like nothing special, and the graphics, I really like how they drew these gnomes and it's also very nice to meet Russian speakers :)
Pretty polished and addicting carcassonne-like. Nice job! The pre-placed tiles and dialogue were a good twist that helped keep things fresh.
I enjoyed this game :-) reminded me of Carcassonne ! In my first run, I didn't realize that you needed to put a tile below the ruby in order to reveal the next part, so I tried to fill out the space to find the next ruby. After that I needed 2 other tries to win. The small dialog between the rubies are fun :-)
Great game, enjoyed it all the way through. Reminded me of playing that dwarf saboteur board game with friends.
nice game
Ребята, молодцы! У меня дети любят в каркасон играть, хорошая игровая версия получилась ^_^
It looks like Dorfromantik, but instead of building villages, you’re building caves. I liked the style and the core gameplay idea — it feels like a great puzzle for a short break. But at first glance, 60 tiles seems like a bit too much for the beginning.
Simple and funny, an enjoyable game! )
Nice game. Really reminds me of Carcassonne :)
Very cool, reminded me of Carcassone and Saboteur. Really enjoyed gameplay, art and music. Very nice realisation !
Stunning graphics, polished style, and well-crafted gameplay. Great job!
super cute art style and music! i enjoyed the concept, nicely done!
Oh man, I had a ton of fun in this. Well polished gameplay and superb graphics, the little cutscenes looked incredible. Everything fit together incredibly well, super entry!
Excellent game !! Very fun and I love story part !D
Love the character art! The randomisation of the tiles could be a little frustrating (I couldn't place my first 3 tiles in one of the runs) but other than fixing that, I'm not sure I'd suggest must else that you could do to improve things - maybe having more things to try and connect to with the tunnels, so you have to balance pathing to them with leavng space for diamonds?
Really interesting and exciting game! I was fascinated for a long time, even it was a pity that the game ended so quickly. You can see that the developers did a great job!
@the-stewarts Thanks a lot for the feedback. We still have a lot of ideas, we just didn't have time to implement everything. It seemed to us that it was more important to polish the basic gameplay.
Finished it! It's addictive, the graphics are nice and the soundtrack is great! I didn't figure out the puzzles right away, but then I started to understand what was connected to what. Somewhere on the fourth try I got to the huge ruby.
Super fun game! Reminds ma a lot of Dorfromantik :) Awesome work!

Fantastic. Love me some rubies! Nice, concise story and interesting characters. Kind of shame that the game itself is pretty short yet understandable given the context of jam. But I guess you could always try to aim for bigger score, right?
Great work.
Super fun! I liked the different tile types to work with and the objectives appearing further down to add back to your tile stack. First try I got to 78 rubies, which felt pretty good! The mushroom caves in particular felt good when you closed them off.
Nice work!
Good art style, cute gnomes ^^
@coderaurus in a sense, yes, but now there is no guaranteed way to achieve the maximum, because new tiles are given randomly, you may simply not be lucky and you will not get new tiles with small rubies. The only way to increase your score now is to collect as many mushroom farms as possible and hope for luck.
@stmatn Your dwarves did a good job, but weren't you sorry to take the biggest ruby?
Oh wow, this is very addictive. So well thought out and polished! I loved it.
Love the art! The game is nice, It took me a while to understood the mushroom caves, but I get the idea behind it! The music makes it a sit-back-and-relax kind of game.
What made it a little frustrating for me was not beign able to build paths farther ahead. I get that the dwarves are digging the path inside the path, so it wouldn't make sense to dig further ahead, but still. Maybe what made it frustrating is not beign able to get the part you really need, so you have to discard many pieces until you get it. Maybe it would have been nice if I had some kind of pieces storage where I could keep an important part to use later.
Anyways I actually enjoyed it, and that ending looks really cool!

@broco thank u for feedback! nice idea with tiles player can put somewhere to use later, I think if we want to develop this game more this idea should be on the list, thank you!
Really cool & fun experience is proposed with a strong graphic proposition, good job !
Loved it! Fun puzzle game, and the art changing as you go deeper is a great idea. That last meaty layer was ominous
Wow, this was a really intriguing game with a great mechanic, felt inspired by the board game Carcassonne. I liked the small story that was revealed bit by bit, the art is awesome! The only thing that wasn't fitting in this game was the music, but nice that you could turn that off. Also good take on the theme.
And I thought only dwarfs diggy diggy holed in search of candy only to toss themselves into the circus, where they find fun and clowns. ...Oh and the game is really cool I guess.
Very neat idea, obviously reminded me of Carcassonne. Speaking of that, I wish there were more hybrid tiles that have mushrooms and a tunnel on the same tile. I often got lost building a large mushroom cave just to realize I messed up at some point and could never finish it.
Overall solid game though. I really love the art and in-between scenes. Well done.
81 rubies!! Had lots of fun playing it. I think a couple people have already said this but it feels like Carcassonne. Good job!
@drsmey thanks for the feedback! We really had many ideas on new tiles and combination of tiles, but didn't have enough time to make more features and polish at the same time) we choose to polish)
@bslrqs In fact, part of the plot is hidden in the biome-swapping approach, we're not talking explicitly, but biomes change for a reason...
Great game. I wish tunnels were a little more important, it feels too easy to mindlessly dig as long as mines are being closed. Maybe some tiles with tunnels and mines?
Wow! Very neat game, I liked it! The chill gameplay and pretty fun story also. Who knows, what happens next... Waiting for a sequel!
I got game over when I placed the last tile, which just happened to complete a large mushroom cave. Shouldn't that continue?
Fun tile game with a groovy story, was fun!
This is a nice idea of putting Dorfromantik or Townscaper into a hole-digging experience. Well done.
Really polished and charming. The art, tile mechanics, and story bits all work super well together. Felt like Carcassonne but with gnomes and rubies, loved it!
Would be awesome if there was a way at the end to see the whole mine to admire your mining skills. Art is amazing, the story adds to the experience, I didn't read the wall of text but the pictures were enough to tell me what's going on (also I am familiar with Carcassone and Dorfromantik). Very solid entry. Great job! I really enjoyed playing it. It feels very polished. I failed at 45 but mostly because the reddish mushrooms were growing... well, quite a bit, and I haven't been paying attention to the number of tiles left. I'll probably play again. (Btw on Itch if you edit you can add a tag "ludum-dare-57", and then below there will be a textbox for a LDjam url, and that would give you a widget on top of the game with the link to this page and your game will appear on the list of all LDjam games on Itch).
Thanks for all the feedback @gargantuan-janitor we've already thought of that. The backlog has already been compiled and we will finish these tiles!
@dstoc In the current version of the game, the last tile with a connecting tunnel to the third Ruby Hole means the end of the game.
@tiar thanks for great idea about "see the whole mine" and advice about editing on itch
Снимок экрана 2025-04-14 в 19.34.35.png It was fun, I enjoyed it!
Not sure if it was inspired by carcassone or not, but mixing paths and mushroom caves was nice! Fun and sweet!

Well done! That game kept me playing for a good while. I enjoyed the overall mood. The storytelling and graphics are great. I love that board game tile character. I wished there were tiles that have paths and mushroom fields. I always had some "impossible to fill" holes, which wasn't pleasant (but also outcome of my own stupidity :P). Overall great! =)
@mamboman Thanks for the feedback! We knew that the remaining holes on the map would be annoying, but we didn't have enough time to draw all the tiles. Even tiles with dead ends were added on the last day of the jam.
Really cool art! Quick sketches, light and effortless, and it looks fantastic!
Interesting duality between road tiles and mushrooms tiles, you need to get down but be mindful of getting shrooms or you'll run out of tile! Really entertaining
Asbolutely loved this. Never seen such an interesting twist on the Carcasonne mechanics. Feel like this could definitely expanded out into something bigger.
Amazing game! But it seems i found a bug :)Без имени.png
@thagarion it's an exploit! u tricked the game, congrats! Thanks for the feedback)
@thagarion We've been waiting for someone to be able to! You are the chosen one!
I love games like this. You did a great job!
At some point in the game I had more fun making mushroom combinations than creating paths for the jewels. You even managed to make the secondary mechanics of the game fun.
Congratulations!
@euler-moises thanks! We knew that this should definitely attract someone, we didn't have time to make a reward for closing the horizontal line, it's a small thing, but it would have been much more motivation to spend tiles
Fantastic game! Love the art, the music and the overall vibe. Congrats
I really liked the art style and how the tiles changed at the different depths. The music was good without being too loud/obnoxious like often happens in Jam games, it felt really nice. Overall vibe I really liked. My only issue was that, on my first play through, I didn't realize that I could scroll down after making it to the ruby hole, so I dumped a bunch of tiles trying to fit a few things together because I was running out of space. But that was just me being dumb, after that I figured it out and it was a blast.
Great job, solid entry, and I have fun playing it!
Good looking puzzle game, nice music and interesting game play. Excellent work, well done!
Great puzzle game! Music and art style are awesome too! Reminds me a bit of Carcassonne board game :) Well done!
Interesting turn on the theme. At first I was a bit confused what to do, then I managed it ;) - It's fun to play and the graphics are great.
The game looks really cool! And the gameplay seems to be quite addictive. Great job!
Cute game, with lovley graphics. At first I didn't understand you can scroll down - maybe some indication for this would be nice :) (I'm the sort of person who skip the text, so maybe it's my fault lol)
@atsh thanks for playing! Yeah we didn't have enough time to properly make some hints how to play in game) but sure, it's a good idea to show somehow that player able to scroll, thank you!
Very very polished game ! The mood is awesome (art, story, audio !!) Gameplay very good ! it willbe even better if there is a way to add diamond tile to the deck (with mushroom tiles combo for exemple)
