Oasis Dawn by pickens-inc 2025-04-10T05:32:02Z

Nice little wave-based fighter, very impressive for a solo submission! The only thing I really felt was missing was more feedback on when attacks hit and the area they affect. Made it to day 4 wave 2, game ran fine on my RTX 3070 btw.

Somnium by Roitchie 2025-04-09T01:28:06Z

Don't mind me, just walking down an infinite hallway for a bit while I eat my food... :P

This is such a cool game! Really impressive art and non-euclidean tricks, loved walking around each level and taking it all in.

Deep Exorcizing: A Poltergeist Cleaning Company by ThomasTournoys 2025-04-08T05:27:05Z

That poltergeist is SLIPPERY! Barely got a few hits in before it disappeared each time I found it. Really love the art style, good job for a solo project even if you did run out of time

Sun(d)less Descend by Foursay 2025-04-10T04:47:31Z

This is SO COOL. You struck gold with this one, it felt like a Steam demo for a hyped-up indie game, one I would happily buy to see more of the story. If this doesn't make the top 10 I'd consider it an injustice.

I'm a little surprised to see so many people got stuck, I wanted to go back and look at the environment some more so I made a cheat sheet in Base64: TmEgVG9lIFBlZQpQaG8gRXhpIEV2ZQpDb24gT29rIEV2ZQpFbWIgQWluIEVkZA==

Yet Another Game About Digging A Hole by AploveStudio 2025-04-08T04:29:52Z

Well, that went in a direction I wasn't expecting. I stared at that glimpse of the sky for a while at the end. Thanks for painting this ruby so it would catch my eye, I'll continue to share gems with my friends when I find them :)

amogus

P.S. since I didn't see it mentioned anywhere, Q to open the store and E to cycle through your inventory

Listen to Me! - Multiplayer co-op (2 players) by Notredamstra 2025-04-09T01:09:10Z

Very ambitious to go for multiplayer during a jam! Sadly, had quite a few connection issues, even with two computers on the same network. It refused to connect sometimes, and always kicked one of us out after a few minutes. From what I did get to play, it was a cool co-op experience and has some fun bones! Some sort of time pressure would really make it shine.

I hate to ask, but was AI used for the radio? The jam page description, strange voices, and sheer amount of music which abruptly switches every 60 seconds all seemed a bit off. If so, you might want to opt-out of the audio category - gen AI is only allowed if it's not the vast majority of assets in a given category, or if you create meaningful derivatives of the output.

Piton by Bea 2025-04-08T03:32:31Z

Took a few tries to figure out the mechanics but I really like how you did the climbing. Great pixel art and animations. I couldn't quite reach the second checkpoint though, I ran out of pitons after around 5 even though the description said I should have 9.

Blackout Protocol by eggsscrambled 2025-04-10T03:37:22Z

I love the vibes on this one, but I wish the level design was a bit more forgiving. It's really easy to be faced with an impossible generator setup, or get camped with no way to escape. Maybe if the whole caves were a bit more spaced out, and had connected loops? Nailed the rest of it, though, love the graphics and audio. The quiet breathing was a nice touch.

into the forest depths by Fliegen 2025-04-08T05:45:01Z

The limb severing mechanic was really cool! I experimented a lot in the first few fights before I settled in on going for the head every time. Incredible art, love the style and how well it all meshed together.

Treats for Charybdis by fragskye 2025-04-09T07:46:02Z

Update: I never uploaded a web build because Godot's compatibility renderer seems to be missing the TIME global shader uniform, and SCREEN_UV was always zero when in a sky shader, which was causing many assets in the game to not render at all or be completely broken. I finally had the time to find a fix and just uploaded a web version of the game with bare minimum changes to get the compatibility renderer playable, no other post-jam modifications :)

@ruruie [clipping things off would be no fun!](https://github.com/fragskye/LD57/blob/e1e0038788626851fe39763bf91dc7dfafd287f9/assets/tumbling_battery/tumbling_battery.gd#L77-L82)

Ruby Hole by Aleksey4adoff 2025-04-08T08:37:14Z

Pretty polished and addicting carcassonne-like. Nice job! The pre-placed tiles and dialogue were a good twist that helped keep things fresh.

СГ-4: Superdeep by Auto 2025-04-08T07:07:42Z

Oh, I can already tell this one's gonna be one of my favorites from the entire jam. Perfectly executed within its minimalist scope, absolutely adore the graphics and audio. Very cohesive. The only complaint I can dream up is that my brain kept wanting the controls to be inverted for some reason, lol
