A great idea for mixing genres! Excellent implementation!
This is amazing! It's a very exciting game! tell me that you will make it for mobile devices?
amazing graphics, since childhood I dreamed of being that very bird "tari"
realy deapths!
Great game! It's a pity that it's very short. I really like the graphics style
Nice art! I caught a bug at the end of the game, the fuel ran out a second before stopping on the floor with a new portion of fuel, and the pop-up screen, although it interfered, allowed the game to continue. When the fuel ran out, the doors opened again and allowed them to go completely behind the screen. All this time, the game completion screen with the restart button was hanging on top of the screen. When you said we were similar, you probably didn't dive into the story we wanted to tell. The mechanics are indeed similar, especially if you were so inspired by the game Saboteur. It's better to leave rectangular cards, they don't give anything and only interfere with the versatility of the graphics and mechanics, with squares, ease of production and more interesting gameplay.
The graphics and lights look awesome.
when I saw the description I thought that I wouldn't have to shoot at all, I was a little upset that I still had to shoot, it's not the first time I've thought about the fact that a TD without shooting would be an interesting solution.
Great voice acting and amazing graphics! very addictive gameplay that doesn't let you get distracted, something is constantly happening and the solution path is always changing! The voice is too reminiscent of the familiar phrases "this is a simple mining mission" from DRG
The dwarves! This world needs more dwarves! and it doesn't matter on a pogo or in a diving suit!
a good example of a prologue for a great horror story, it's trendy now!
I really liked the bats!
A great start! But we must continue! We need more gameplay variety, it is possible to make a store with bucket improvements and increase the number of obstacles.
very nice graphics, it's a bit inconvenient to click without a mouse (I played with a MacBook with a touchpad). Funny dialogues. The game has great potential!
@the-stewarts Thanks a lot for the feedback. We still have a lot of ideas, we just didn't have time to implement everything. It seemed to us that it was more important to polish the basic gameplay.
@coderaurus in a sense, yes, but now there is no guaranteed way to achieve the maximum, because new tiles are given randomly, you may simply not be lucky and you will not get new tiles with small rubies. The only way to increase your score now is to collect as many mushroom farms as possible and hope for luck.
@stmatn Your dwarves did a good job, but weren't you sorry to take the biggest ruby?
@bslrqs In fact, part of the plot is hidden in the biome-swapping approach, we're not talking explicitly, but biomes change for a reason...
Thanks for all the feedback @gargantuan-janitor we've already thought of that. The backlog has already been compiled and we will finish these tiles!
@dstoc In the current version of the game, the last tile with a connecting tunnel to the third Ruby Hole means the end of the game.
@tiar thanks for great idea about "see the whole mine" and advice about editing on itch
@mamboman Thanks for the feedback! We knew that the remaining holes on the map would be annoying, but we didn't have enough time to draw all the tiles. Even tiles with dead ends were added on the last day of the jam.
@thagarion We've been waiting for someone to be able to! You are the chosen one!
@euler-moises thanks! We knew that this should definitely attract someone, we didn't have time to make a reward for closing the horizontal line, it's a small thing, but it would have been much more motivation to spend tiles
This is really a unique experience, I did not expect this from the evaluation process of the game jam participants! I had to build everything locally from the source codes (fortunately, I am a backend developer and I am familiar with sbt), dear author, you definitely need to do something with the build on itch, otherwise you will not be able to collect feedback on your project.
Now to the project, it looks very stylish, if the goal was to make something similar to the old dos games, then it really turned out!
I like this Art! I happened to see a preview of your kitsch game, and after opening the page, I realized that it also needs to be evaluated!
1.png An amazing gaming experience, until I passed the 20th level I thought the game was too simple, but after 20 everything changes. I spent 20 minutes of my working time and I don't regret anything! 2.png
