Honestly really fun one of the few games i'd actually want to just keep playing really appeals to my sense of "must collect" good job!

Really neat idea, would be cool to see what you could do with it if you had more time!

It's a pretty neat idea. The only problem is, it becomes an idle game pretty soon, and it's not really a deckbuilder the way I understand deckbuilders (for example there are no mechanics to trash the card, and it would not be really beneficial either). Also it wasn't really clear what's the difference between getting an iron surrounded by soil, or getting an iron card. Or maybe that iron was just money, too? Anyway, it was still enjoyable for some time, very good job for a game jam.

Those are paper cards, you should try making a fire @tiar, perhaps by rubbing some coal :-)

We had great plans for adding even more deck manipulation, alas, there was too little time!

Cool game, it froze on me after a couple dozen cycles through the deck. would love to play a finished version with an ending!

I really liked the game. You have the beginnings of a really good game. You should take whatever ideas you have now and finish it.

Make sure you have clear documentation and maybe a video for example pay as the game is a little complex.

Thanks for the play

Very nice work, like how the shovel works automatically!

Interesting and quite unique idea. Good job!

Awesome mechanic - very addictive. I’d love to see it developed further, I would definitely play it! :D The way discard button works is not obvious - at first I decided it is bugged, so I just restarted several times after I softlocked myself. Only then I realized you actually need to select cards to discard them. Also would be nice to be able to utilize all your hand during the turn - say, I have 2 coppers and 2 flats in a hand, feels unfair that I only can make 1 shovel. I mean, it doesn't influence anything in the long run currently, cause you can't lose, but adds ability to play maximizing your utility anyway :D Great job creating the game, folks!

Well done effort at combining digging with deckbuilding! This didn't play out the way that I initially thought it might. I figured out the combining of ingredients pretty easily, although I didn't understand the real purpose of chisels. I thought it would let me skip some pointless shoveling, but I couldn't seem to start shoveling in the little nooks that I chiseled out. Is that a bug or intentional?

This is a really nice idea and I would love to see it finished! Great game

The controls are nice, the gameplay is interesting, it's addictive. At some point, at one of the stages, it started giving out one card at a time, which didn't allow you to craft anything further. Overall, it's a cool thing!

realy deapths!

infernaton 2025-04-14 11:40

Really addictive game I swear. The only issue I have, is with the drill. THe facing is only based on the block we point, and not on the face of the block, and by default, it will point and the side if possible.
