very nice graphics, it's a bit inconvenient to click without a mouse (I played with a MacBook with a touchpad). Funny dialogues. The game has great potential!

Such a big team! Game is funny, I like that u have different "bioms" and also liked shop) Good development of clicker genre)
Super nice game! Well done & polished you nailded it! Nice graphics & audio! As a profesional digger I recommand this game!
nice! def wish I could use another button to click as I found myself getting the click to mine fast upgrades immediately. But really well done
Neat clicker game. I liked the model of the guy on the rope. Is the events you encounter random or predetermined?
It's great, it's very beautiful.
You really see that a lot of work has been done, it's amazing! The game as a whole looks very polished👍
Cool game! Found a small bug: after the first entrance to the store, my screen started to flash for a few seconds
Хороший полишинг, но геймплей простоват, хотя использование ресурсов в выборе хорошая идея. Очень красивый арт, и отдельный респект за перевод на русский!
I really liked the combination of 2 and 3d. The ending is just :skull: :skull: :skull:
@aleksey4adoff thanks for the feedback! We genuinely forgor about players without a mouse 💀
@librory thank you! We tried very hard !
@bleys thanks! As an amateur digger, I glad to hear that from a professional!!
@brian-russell thank you for the feedback! Didn't think of the second mouse button!
@mechanicallife thanks! All the events are predetermined: it's easier to balance, people may try other options, and overall the game is very short, so no need for randomness here. Although loot is random
@hnkxobka thank you! We really spent some time making the game look good and I hope our future games will be even better!
@byebye Thanks for the feedback! Uh-uh, we didn't stumble upon the bug you described. It was because of the smoke, dust or overall image was randomly bugging? We would like to *dig* into that issue.
@heat спасибо за отзыв! Геймплей и вправду очень примитивен. Рад, что вы оценили локализацию и визуал, мы старались)
@anifan-gelati spasibo!
Very neat spin on a clicker game! Liked the graphics and sound a lot! Great job!
@buckmeister thank you! Glad to hear that you liked the game aesthetics!
Very nice game.
Nice simple game! I really liked the visuals and all the small details, you've put a really good effort into it. Thanks for the game!
A really nice game, with very beautiful graphics
A superb looking game for this short time! I really liked all the little details, like the shopkeepers face changing after you buy something, and that the world seemed to have depth ;)
Also, the biome changes were a nice surprise!
The game looks great. I failed every single choice event. It would be nice if some of the items from earlier levels appeared again after I bought upgrades, so I could actually feel the improvement. Every time I upgraded click power, the new objects also required more clicks, so I only started noticing progress around biome 4 or 5.
The game feels very polished, with great visuals and sound. I did run into one bug: in the shop, the dialogue box didn’t disappear properly and kept reappearing when I clicked (I have a screenshot, in case it helps). It eventually went away and I was able to upgrade. I think it happened because I clicked on it while it was fading out, probably because I was trying to poke the spider that stole my shinies, and the dialogue kept fading back in.
Screenshot 2025-04-12 195445.png Fun game, Great Job! It is amongst the most polished ones I played this compo.
Impossibru with a trackpad! Game look so nice though!
Edit: I found a mouse, but it is still really hard, reaching the top of the screen, the Mac menu bar reappears and keeps getting me out of the game... Some sort of mouse capture (and maybe some track assist for newbs like me ...).
In general, the game is beautiful, and the concept is nice, but in the end, it did not click for me (tracking + clicking is just frustrating)
I got tentacled :cry: Fun game, finger is worn out from clicking so much though. I think this would do good on mobile devices.
Fun core gameloop, compelling enough to keep me going through to the end and super well presented. I think perhaps the upgrade loop is both a bit too easy to complete and doesn't feel meaningful enough. However I think for a jam game it's super well made.
My mouse is on fire :D Nice game. The monsters are a fun twist that I didn't expected. the art is very nice!
Love the visuals and the frantic clicking. I would have loved to see a bit more challenge, managed to make it all the way through on my first try. But I like that it's not optimal to always sell everything and that you can use the materials for the events.
Nice graphics, well done, good job !
Hi there! Nice entry! I just wish it had some simple infinite loop at the end where you go deeper and deeper and it gets more difficult gradually, I think it would've added a lot. Nice graphics, chill gameplay, great work guys! :D
Good job, guys! Especially loved the artstyle, magnificent job for a jam
@yerkwell thank you!
@lazyanttu thanks! We really tried our best at polishing this time!
@leparlon yeah, that's actually a valid point on our progression system (about upgrades). It has a lot of room for improvement. Thank you!
@dhim we genuinely forgor about touchpad users 💀 but we'll try to account into that in the future! Thanks for some advice!
@perrin thanks! As pointed out above, the progression system is rather primitive. There's a lot of work to do in the future!
@sibi thank you for your feedback! Hopefully it will help us make better games in the future!
@bashem infinite loop fits well into the clicker game indeed, although we wanted to make a game with an end this time (and with some kind of goal, which, I think, wasn't still clear enough). Thanks for the comment!
A very good example of what wonders can be achieved through the power of teamwork! This game is *oozing* with charm, from the mixed media feeling 3D character model surrounded by 2D sprites, to the individual clickable set pieces, and all the different names for the items that they drop.
I'm not usually a fan of clicker games, but this one's rather easy on the mouse, and the resources passing by give matters a sense of urgency uncommon within the genre. The fun NPC interactions also give me a compelling reason to keep going. Had they not been there, I would have assumed there's nothing but grinding awaiting me further, no matter how deep I go. Fortunately, that wasn't the case!
The inclusion of three different upgrade options ( while standard ) does the game a lot of good, and I'm glad you had the time to make all of them into their own distinct objects. So imaginative and soulful! And of course, the Wilhelm scream cannot go unappreciated. <3
On an unrelated note, I'm curious if any of the crystal imagery was inspired by the Crystal Peak from Hollow Knight. If not, we've got ourselves a *crazy* coincidence given the striking resemblance! Although I'm also interested in hearing what other sources contributed to the game's look and feel.
Thanks for your work!
@clink
Wow! No one has ever given us such detailed feedback. We spent a lot of time on polishing in this game.
Through long discussions we came to a relative balance between mining mechanics and event mechanics. I'm glad that our efforts were not in vain and you appreciated it.
You're right, the last location was inspired by Hollow Knight in one way or another. And, for example, Spider-Pirate looks something like Zoro from the One Piece anime (I also made a reference to that in my post - https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/57/lone-digger/lone-digger-part-1).
If you heard Wilhelm's scream, then you've reached the end! Thanks for playing! Don't forget to rate the game if you haven't already!
