I ran out of cards :( seems pretty fun though, I could see expanding on this.
I had an issue trying to play the game. Dialog plays fine, but in-game I can't see anything. I've included a link to the recording

... okay, the link won't show. I'll share the link with Nick
@sn4pi The only file I'm able to download is from the google drive; the other two lead to a "file not found" page
@sn4pi I am so glad I got to play this! First off, Nick and I are gonna have a chat, the sfx are too spooky  This game gave me chills, it was really fun to play. When I noticed my other soldiers just disappeared, I paused and started looking around, trying to go back up. The first monster also got me a little. The only gameplay issue I had was after my first death, about halfway down the stairs the camera kept rubberbanding but it cleared up when I stopped moving and started again. This was a really good and fun game to play, you guys did a great job!
The only thing this is missing is a soundtrack! Very cool and challenging puzzle game. I love the unique mechanics and trying to figure them all out. Very good style.
I really liked how the grappling hook acted as a jump button while moving, but had increased functionality beyond that.
This was really fun! My only note is that when I use one bomb type (like sticky on 2, and impact on 3) and I run out, the key press changes even if the indicator doesn't. Other than that one issue, this game was great. I love the style.
This is super fun! Not only were there multiple ships to choose from, but the enemy variety was there too.
Very chill and cute! I love the art and music, and the juice on moving items felt really nice.
The music was awesome! Those eggs are hard mode though. Really fun game!
Extra chill minesweeper!!
Very polished in pretty much every aspect. It's a bit too easy to squish your divers, but other than that, this was a very good game!
I was a bit confused as well. I got a game over after 800 meters. I'm sure there's a reason, but the drill takes a long time to actually stop once you press the button. I felt like between the time I used the radar to spot something and the time the drill actually stopped, what ever I saw was gone already.
With some audio and a few fixes, this game could be a good bullet hell! For some reason, after each enemy, my guy just stops shooting for like 20 seconds.
Sometimes it hard to tell the background and foreground apart, causing me to crash into something I thought wasn't an obstacle. Other than that, it was an enjoyable game.
This is foolish, and I love it!
Brings me back to the Atari and NES!
I would have loved slowly building a deck; I feel like it would be impossible to reach the end of the whale when the cards reset each run. I like the concept.
Very beautiful game, love the crisp pixel art. There is a nice pace and enough change to keep it interesting.
Moving from left to right is disorienting, and not being able to shoot up or down made this really hard. Other than that, good game.
This was really fun! Played this for about 30 minutes, caught a lot of fish and trash!
This was awesome! I played this for like 30 minutes straight! On my first round, I wasn't happy about the timer until I figured out "dig down" and that helped a lot. I thought the "Three Goblin Wobblin'" easter egg was pretty cool. I tried to dig the ground out from under the ship but it didn't work  Love the gravity aspect and voxel destruction. Very good game.
Reminds me of Signal Simulator / Voices of the Void. Very enjoyable game with great (or maybe clear  ) atmosphere; nice to just vibe out looking through space.
@wolfier the flashlight is kinda bad, yeah. And yeah, I totally forgot about that bug, sorry about that.
@jordanfb nice! Glad I could get someone with that
Thank you both for the kind words!
@hit3c @milkiway One day we will learn to let the cryptids dance in peace
@tomastanhgor Yeah... this really hit home when my GF (who doesn't play games much) tried it. Then a friend tried it. They both realized the music stopped playing once the song was over, and didn't loop, which is literally the only way to find him. My bad.
@sylf A kind soul  I hope you enjoyed his dance!
@ukulelefury I tried to work out the duplicate music bug, but time didn't allow  I'm glad you enjoyed it though
@crozzy :two_hearts:
@thereddevil I'm really glad you enjoyed it! Thank you for the feedback
@slay-a-stone Yeah, once people started playing it I realized there was a few things I should have been more clear about. Thanks for playing!
@zenorke Thanks! @nrankin13 is to thank for the wonderful audio in this game!
@mars88 Thanks! We're shooting for it!
@matimay The backstory and reasoning and really most explanation is left to the user's imagination. As for the theme... well, I don't expect a high score on that. "it's underground" was the best I got. I wanted to make a fun and funny game, following the theme was secondary at best.
@bob152 Thanks for checking it out! And yeah, sometimes the video doesn't count when it should, poor "looking at" detection on my part
@i-pots Thanks! I really liked Depthborne, really good job on that!
@sudocoffee @nbumgardner @jonathan-ray-pollard @loka @designernap Thank you all so much for playing! @nbumgardner I'm glad I could bring a little tension to the game for you. @sudocoffee Yeah, @nrankin13 did the music on this one and I think he nailed the audio, especially the music tracks. I thought about trying some spatial audio, but I didn't have enough time to get it in so it's just panning.
I was lost man. I have no idea what I'm doing, I was hitting keys at random and I was able to flick a lever, but I had no idea what it was doing. I feel like the game has legs, but no eyes; we need some visual feedback on what we're doing, and some direction to do it.
This was really fun! Feels like a single-player version of Bokura
I found myself looking at the balance indicator instead of the character or the scenery, which is a shame because I feel like this could be a really scenic game.
The graphics are really well done. I don't know if this was intentional or not, but the first screenshot looks like a pseudo-anime woman which was elicited an immediate response. It took me a bit to figure out how to play the game, but once I did it started to make sense. I think something which reminded the player of the rules (the opening screen) would have been helpful. it also didn't play well with 21:9 resolution, but I get that, like every other game here it was made on a strict time budget and 21:9 is not a common aspect ratio. Good job!
This was really good! Very nice opening, and I loved the music.
I got tentacled  Fun game, finger is worn out from clicking so much though. I think this would do good on mobile devices.
Reminds me of an environmentally unfriendly version of Mario party mini games! Watching the batteries being yeeted into the ocean was fun.
Selecting cards are a bit wonky, and some of them (like ????) seem to have no effect. The audio and visuals are amazing! I love the idea of entities inflicting madness instead of damage. I think with a bit more polish this would be a really good game.
I feel like I'm fighting the controls more than anything else, but aside from that, this game is really good!
The music was really well done. I'm not sure the function of the upgrades text at the top, didn't seem to do much. It would have been nice to revert to the main menu without hitting F5, but that's fine. Without going fullscreen, the UI was a bit cutoff, so the first time I failed because I ran out of fuel, but I couldn't see how much fuel I had.
So my strategy of spinning like a madman while holding the fire button didn't work! I love how you keep velocity in this game. I messed up with the shop though, didn't know it wouldn't pause the game.
The itch.io link points to a 404 page :(
Pretty cool game. For some reason, the light acted like it was only shining to the left, not based on the way I was facing.
This was quite fun! I really like puzzle games that switch levels like that.
I'm not going to rate it because it's probably an issue on my end, but I get about 8 steps in before the game crashes. Tried to play it about 4 times, so idk. Looks cool though.
@katastudios I played the patched version. I have Ryzen 7 3700x and RX 5700 XT. I'm not finding an error log, though I suppose it didn't crash, it just infinitely hung. I just tried it again and let it sit, after a few minutes I gave up. It crashes after about 5 seconds of in-game play.
This was a pretty cool puzzle game, loved the interface!
The music and sound effects are really great! The visuals are well put together and the buildings have a lot of nice details. I kept dying though, even if I had enough resources, and I'm really not sure why. The last time I even waited until I was maxed out on resources, tried to upgrade the dome the second time, and a few seconds later I got the restart prompt.
This is pretty cool! Really requires some dexterity and a bit of puzzle solving.
This is a pretty cool roguelike/extraction game!
