Very cool and calming vibe! I am very bad at minesweeper so I appreciated that I had a health bar (and the ability to restore it). Dividing the board into three segments is a really interesting twist!

I love this version of minesweeper its very calming

Really good mine sweeper remake. Despite it's remake it's really creative and well thought out. Also voice acting is good. For me the game on 3rd and 4th levels became really hard but still good job on this

pickydogfish 2025-04-08 19:06

Nice vibe, but I honestly think the gameplay is just a worse minesweeper. the maps being split into different colors where you can only open tiles of that color just breaks the flow imo. The fun part of minesweeper is when you get a streak of easy tiles to open, and this just breaks that flow. The powerups are fun though, and good job on the voice acting, it adds a lot :)

Extra chill minesweeper!!

sam-gorman 2025-04-08 19:23

This is a really polished experience, and I enjoyed the little additions to traditional Minesweeper like the items and multiple floors. I also loved the worldbuilding from the walkie-talkie!

I do wish the game was a little more than just a good Minesweeper, though. It could use something to make it stand out as its own original game.

pythorogus 2025-04-08 19:35

Too much fun, I had almost finished it, too bad! I love the minesweeper so this game was made for me, thank you! Everything's cool, the voice acting, the animations, the revisited Minesweeper... I'll probably play it again to finish the game. Great job!

christian-zommerfelds 2025-04-09 06:19

Ha, you also built a Minesweeper game, nice!

Maybe add a loading text in the beginning, because I thought the game wouldn't load (took a while). But wow, I was pleasantly surprised when the game loaded: there was voice acting and a beautiful screen! Some more feedback:

* Nice mechanic idea with forcing you to pick a color! I wasn't quite sure if I should use the preview for strategic thinking, but ended up mostly ignoring it. * I found the game too easy. There is so much health! * I found it a bit confusing that the return tile gets revealed after I click on the first tile (see screenshot). Was this needed to generate a valid puzzle? * Maybe the sonar item should only uncover mines I don't know yet about (haven't marked)? * Music is nice, it didn't get boring even after 20+ minutes of playing

I didn't manage to get to the end but definitely want to get back to it later.

christian-zommerfelds 2025-04-09 07:50

Update: couldn't keep my hand off of it. Played again and beat the game! Very well done game.

Since you have to go back and for between the levels I accidentally proceeded to end the game without finishing the last board completely, bummer :)

trocentraisin 2025-04-10 00:19

Congrats, you managed to make me enjoy easy-mode minesweeper, with forced 50/50s, sub-par auto-uncovering (angles of 0 mines tiles don't get revealed as they should) and without chording. I mean it without an inch of sarcasm, normally any of these aspects would be a deal-breaker for me, but the polish is good enough, and everything works well enough to be actually enjoyable and chill, with an allowance for being a little sloppy and playing vibe minesweeper

paulhocker 2025-04-10 05:00

what a fantastic minesweeper game -- love the added elements and the funny monologues -- added to my replay list -- thanks for making it

stratcat66 2025-04-10 17:20

Interesting zone idea, that I haven't seen before (this is not the first minesweeper-like game I have played!)

onhore 2025-04-10 17:22

Funny cute graphics!

beebster-games 2025-04-10 17:31

Wow, what a mellow experience. It was excellent.

Not sure of a strategy, but the game plays extremely well.

Thanks for the play.

phoque 2025-04-10 18:30

Played it multiple times but could not get to the end unfortunately :( This is a great entry, almost perfect, the 3 layers per levels is new but quite annoying actually it breaks your flow when you have some eaasy tiles to break in a row. Another thing, sometimes the game forced me to click a bomb as it was the last tile available of the current color

librory 2025-04-11 11:54

Thats second game on LD57 i seen with a minesweeper mechanics, and this one is so cute. Nice voiceover is just and music and everything) good game, very much polished) but still i feel like there's should be more that minesweeper, though some attemped to make to this game some extra mechanics deserves to be noteces)

idos 2025-04-11 20:33

cool game, it's addictive and I also like the colors you used in the graphics

silkworm-sweatshop 2025-04-14 16:47

Super chill and polished. I haven't played minesweeper in years and ended up playing for a while . Having some upgrades kept the idea fresh and the relaxing music and occasional voice lines made me stick around.

mrdumpling 2025-04-17 09:10

Interesting rethinking of the game "minesweeper" :о

The pixel art is great! I shake hands with my colleagues for a job well done!

I like the "immersion" system, it not only complicates the level itself, but also changes external factors of the game, for example, the background and music. I like it :)

I did not complete the game :( 6 complete solutions and reached level 9, this is my maximum.

Maybe someday I will reach the end :р

Good job partner! ;)

P.S. The voice acting is also cool!

very well polished and a really fun take on this type of game!

spookyman999 2025-04-20 11:02

do like the art, it has a very specific vibe to it, its very chill and very fun!

thoastbot 2025-04-21 13:50

Wow, great game! Always loved minesweeper but felt like it was lacking something to make it a "real game" - i feel like you just made what i felt missing! Voicelines are amazing, Graphic looks clean and in generall everything worked well. Was a bit confused, after finishing the first board i loaded the second one with an exit revealing itself - but i just didn't saw that it had two arrows up instead of one arrow down :D Well done!

jacobingalls 2025-04-23 06:07

Great entry! I found the game quite challenging due to what I assume is just bad luck. Clicking on a board with no hints and hitting a mine was quite common for me, and doesn't feel good. Similarly, being forced to click in a blue area with no hints and getting a mine isn't fun either. Relatedly, getting a 1 in the middle of nowhere gives no info about where the mine is, so again, lots of lost lives. I'm sure this is really hard, but it would be good for the first click to always give enough info to not hit a mine (if paying attention). I was only able to make it to level four, and again got a string of (what I would consider not my fault) mines. Ugh. Great entry otherwise though, the high quality everywhere else makes this feeling stand out, if that makes sense. :pensive:

jimmothysanchez 2025-04-24 03:27

Interesting take on a minesweeper game. The color based mechanic was interesting and forced me to take chances I would have otherwise not taken. I think you were a little too generous with the extra lives but that might just be personal taste. I thought the audio really took this game to the next level though. good story telling through a minesweeper game.

cherrybcake 2025-04-25 11:00

Whoa, awesome take on minesweeper! I absolutely love the narration, it's top notch. Really well made game overall.
