LD34 — Two Button Controls / Growing

Double Kick Heroes by blackmagic 2015-12-17T21:02:00

Wow that was awesome! Amazing job guys.

Two-Punch Man by canary40 2015-12-18T00:59:00

Having to switch between attack and defense modes is a little clumsy. It fits within the theme but kinda wears on the gameplay.

Backwards and Bonkers! by CartoonJenn 2015-12-18T00:53:00

One of the prettiest games I've played on here.

Super Snowball Roller Mayhem 3000 by arzi 2015-12-14T23:23:00

Ha ha That was pretty great! I loved the random attributes that got added as you played.

Resonance by Starspell 2015-12-16T04:42:00

I enjoyed this a lot. what a good little puzzle game!

Drought by Kep 2015-12-17T16:44:00

Very original. I enjoyed it.

Running Of The Ball by NickMakesGames 2016-01-02T19:09:00

Good game. It would be nice if the game gave you some sort of indicator how close you were to the end.

Hero of the nest by Alexander Shukalo 2015-12-15T23:45:00

A simple good game. I like it!

Bellows by TaylorAnderson 2015-12-16T05:06:00

This was a very clever game. I liked the idea, and I loved the art. But I felt like I wasn't in control of my character though. It made me feel like how well I did was totally random.

No Space For Cows by concalf 2015-12-15T20:12:00

This is a surprisingly well polished game for a game jam.

Recnac by thedashdude 2015-12-16T04:50:00

This was great! Reminds me a lot of classic puzzle games. I enjoyed it a lot!

Lifenodes. by Remicy 2015-12-16T05:44:00

It took me a while to figure out how it was played but once I did I really liked it. A small amount of text explaining the game could be really useful.

Can't Jump by x92rwzb 2015-12-16T05:34:00

Interesting game. The difficulty is fine but it should ramp up to the level it's at, not start there. give the player time to get used to the rules of the game before you try to punish them.

React! by VersatileBox 2015-12-18T00:19:00

That was brilliant. It would be cool to see if there is a way to expand on this concept.

Pig Belly Runner by daveh 2015-12-18T00:38:00

"L : Tap to jump and remain airborne. " - No matter how quickly I tapped it I always fell right back to the ground. Is there a trick to it?

KRMENI by Zulgot 2015-12-14T23:43:00

Hey for me neither player showed up on screen, just the falling meat.

Jumper Duck by Coherence 2015-12-18T00:33:00

Hey, congrats on finishing your first game and entering it. Everybody had to start somewhere. One suggestion I might have though, would be to let the user know the rules of the game or the controls, maybe even on this page in the games description.

Get the fuck out! by pompaz 2015-12-15T00:04:00

Definitely one of the more interesting submisions

Phantom Cell by Suui 2015-12-15T00:01:00

That was pretty clever. The invisible sharks get pretty hard.

Dude On Fire by voca 2015-12-18T00:50:00

Super well polished game. The aspect ratio makes me feel like I'm going to see this on mobile any day now. Good luck with it.

LD37 — One room

13 jellyfish by Four Quarters 2016-12-14T01:25:00

Excellent game. Amazing levels of polish on this one.

levelone by dietzribi 2016-12-22T03:58:00

Wow, great game! I'm amazed by the small details that went into it like the parallax on the enemies faces and the fact that the game creators eyes follow you, and it's all wrapped in a really unique game idea. Great job!

Rhythm Rink by shillingburg 2016-12-15T17:15:00

Great game. I really liked the aesthetic. One of the more beautiful games I've seen here.

DangerRoom by hermetic 2016-12-14T04:30:00

I like the style of your game. A 2d game projected on a 3d wall is a cool take on the theme. The game is pretty hard which is fine, but if you make a game difficult you should streamline the process to get back into the game. For instance only make the player read the intro on the first load.

Christmas Time by Jon Reid 2016-12-12T17:47:00

That was really cool. I don't think I've seen a game before that used two separate tabs. My only complaint is that it wasn't longer but there's only so much you can do in 48 hours.

spring cleaning by 01010111 2016-12-12T17:35:00

This game is hilarious. I loved your take on the theme. Also the music is super catchy. It makes waiting to get all the messages enjoyable.

Room Loop by piwicode 2016-12-12T16:48:00

I think this is a really clever take on the one room theme.

Paper Airplane Attack by kebb 2016-12-12T20:27:00

Great game. It's a really cool take on the theme. Only real complaints are that it could really use some sound and a cross-hair. But great game.

E:D - Avatar Shooter by DrSnuggles 2016-12-12T20:33:00

Cool target game. It would be good to put the red/blue scoring mechanic you mentioned in the comments up in the description of the game. Ran into a glitch where some of the target were unclickable. other than that good game.

Room Builder by peredm 2016-12-12T21:04:00

Really cool game but it needs some balancing. It's crazy hard.

1 Room and 48 Hours by meg 2016-12-12T20:41:00

ha ha This is a great game! I feel like you really captured the Ludum Dare experience.

VacuumBot by Dvorgaz 2016-12-12T17:52:00

This is a really clever idea. The cat seems almost impossible to avoid though.

Basically, RUN! by barning 2016-12-12T22:08:00

Nice game! The controls are interesting. they felt clunky at first but I warmed up to them quickly.

VaporArenaWave クール by Tilemapping 2016-12-12T21:20:00

Cool game. Nice aesthetic. Floating cans seem to always disappear before I can get to them. Escape button does not exit game.

Robot Disco by wwwhizz 2016-12-15T17:08:00

Very clever little game. god job.

Apricot Drop by Nixxor 2016-12-22T05:17:00

Most charming game I've played this jam.

BadRoom by MpowG 2016-12-15T19:50:00

This was great. Took me a little while to figure out the whole color coding thing, but it's a col mechanic.

Alice in The Wonder Room by lusternite 2016-12-14T00:25:00

hey, f doesn't seem to do anything. Can't get past the first stage.

Grippy Mouse by dalbinblue 2016-12-12T21:28:00

Awesome game. Really enjoyable. I feel the mechanics and puzzles were well thought out. Great job!

Nightmares by Yami no tenshi 2016-12-12T21:10:00

Cool game. It would be nice if I didn't have to click a second time after throwing a stone to grab a second stone. I realize this was probably a design choice, but it feels a little clunky.

Tomb Rusher by chocobyte 2016-12-19T21:21:00

I agree with some of the other posters, that the brown land being safe is really confusing. I was trying to avoid all the brown obstacles coming at me and couldn't figure out why I kept dying.

Window Crawler by Chao 2016-12-14T00:37:00

This is a cool idea but having to switch back and forth between windows is a little clumsy. It would be nice if the enemies didn't start attacking until the window received focus.

Shadow Fencer Theatre by ShuddaHaddaLottaFun 2016-12-21T05:42:00

This is a beautiful and well polished game. Really like the art style. My only complaint is that it there isn't more of it to play.

Possessed Room by nodoxi 2016-12-14T01:57:00

Wow I love the art style.

The Lock by fullmontis 2016-12-15T17:25:00

Arghh there was a secret letter?!! Good game that was pretty tricky.

Floor is Lava by RedPanda 2016-12-12T20:53:00

I feel dumb, but I can't get to the orb on the first level. I got to the top of the couch and couldn't make the jump to the shelf. Maybe I did it wrong.

Me, Myself And The Room by Artylo 2016-12-12T17:24:00

I really liked this one. Is there an end state though? I think I found all of the things there are to find but it never gave me a message saying so. Maybe I missed one?

BewilderMaze by Meles 2016-12-12T20:21:00

Cool idea for a game. Well polished.

Passive Aggressive Roommate Wars by UltraRat 2016-12-15T16:58:00

Very clever and well executed. I enjoyed that a lot.

Humanity Walks Into a Bar by Lipedal 2016-12-19T22:02:00

Very cool game. Is there a way to tell if people will like each other?

Xenopunch by Pietro Ferrantelli 2016-12-18T01:45:00

Amazing game. My only complaint is the second boss's one hit kill attack. It made him harder than the end boss for me.

Shush Prowler by Zemmi 2016-12-14T04:02:00

This is a great game. It took a really long time to figure out though. I can't decide if that's a good or a bad thing though.

Royal Roomba Rumble by SwedishCheese 2016-12-15T17:03:00

Ha I went with a roomba game as well. Good game. I liked the trail effects after running through dirt or water.

RoomOne by Geckoo1337 2016-12-12T20:11:00

Wow, that was crazy. I loved the art style.

St. Nick's Defense by Josh H 2016-12-12T17:16:00

It would be nice if you didn't need to go back to menu every time you need to place something. It, could for instance remember the last thing you picked and continue placing that item on click. Would be really useful when building walls of worktables.

Cancelled Refuge by SinclairStrange 2016-12-18T01:56:00

Amazing game! Loved how the map evolved each round.

The Walking Closet by andyman404 2016-12-14T02:23:00

This is a pretty crazy concept. I feel if you had had more time this could be great.

Aperta Corporata by amras0000 2016-12-12T18:14:00

This a really relaxing little game and I really like the mechanics in place. I feel if you had more time you could really build on them and create something pretty cool.

The Cranks by DemiPixel 2016-12-14T04:16:00

Good game! I'd recommend putting the controls on your LD page. Also I got the game into a state where I was no longer able to upgrade or buy anything regardless of how much money I had.

Arm's Reach by adsilcott 2016-12-14T04:55:00

Beautiful game. I loved the tentacle monster.

THE ROOM by Genpaku 2016-12-12T16:58:00

The game could really use some player feed back. " I can't do that" doesn't really guide the player to the next objective.

One Room Dungeon by Trasevol_Dog 2016-12-14T01:42:00

Cool game. The main character looks a lot like some of the enemy sprites though. With the screen shake, I lost him a couple of times.

Unwelcome by Louspirit 2016-12-19T21:07:00

A little more information about the game might be useful on your LD page. I spent a good portion of the time just trying to figure out what I'm supposed to do.

Christmas Stack! by Geck0 2016-12-22T04:41:00

Nice little game. Game gets a little difficult because you have to rely so heavily on random chance. I think it would be really cool if you added a Super Mario Bros 2 style lifting and carrying mechanic for the presents.

The Mini-Man 3D by adrian09_01 2016-12-12T19:40:00

Good game, my only compliant is that the grid based movement felt a little clunky to me for a platformer.

Square Roots by Weeping Rupee 2016-12-21T05:49:00

On one of my play-throughs I was able to create an state where the game got stuck. I quickly boxed in the expanding shape with minerals. It kept making the spawn noise but had no place to spawn. Game just kind of got stuck there. Other than that good game.

Roomba Rampage by PeachTreeOath 2016-12-13T04:53:00

Ha I made a Roomba game as well. I really like the approach you took on yours. Great character designs on your enemies!

The One Room Experiment by Siegfried Croes 2016-12-14T01:03:00

I love how everything was place or removed by those mechanical arms. That was a great idea well executed.

Kritical Kitchen by Paradoxa42 2016-12-12T22:01:00

Cool entry. I liked the weapon choices. It would be cool if there were short pauses between waves for the player to regroup.

LD39 — Running out of Power

The Problem with Putties by jimmothysanchez 2017-08-01T20:47:18Z

Yeah placing buildings consumes the putties but the hut buildings produce an infinite number of putties. You can't really run out.

Asolar by krunoslav 2017-08-03T22:42:17Z

Good game. Putting the bomb controls just over the movement controls made it a little difficult to play though.

LD43 — Sacrifices must be made

Craftsman by Gao Ming 2018-12-04T03:36:56Z

clever game. How does it determine what is / is not a worthy sacrifice?

Greedy Slime by irwatts 2018-12-04T04:25:18Z

You did a nice job on the slime. Looks great.

Breach Squad by guoboism 2018-12-05T01:38:43Z

Very cool game. I'd recommend either adding a late game mechanic or adding a win condition when only the buildings are left. There does not seem to be a way to lose in that scenario.

Reap what you sow by ursagames 2018-12-05T02:09:40Z

This was a great entry. I really liked the nightly events and the ticking clock. Good job.

Mountain Rescue 2019 by farfin 2018-12-05T02:51:39Z

Is the goal to save the people or to sacrifice the people and save the penguins?

Sacrificial Wool by WalterP 2018-12-04T03:13:57Z

This game is super clever. I love your take on the theme!

Skømp by phearbot 2018-12-04T04:04:14Z

Very cool, well polished game. I noticed a couple of bugs though. If you stand facing a wall and throw a buddy he goes through the wall making him unreachable. Also if you stand on your organs you can't jump, making it really difficult if you dies a couple times in the same location. All in all though a great entry.

Kaiju Attack by zaza 2018-12-04T03:22:19Z

Very cool. Just a heads up I had to rename the data folder in order to get it to play correctly.

Eartheors by MrRyzen 2018-12-04T03:53:47Z

Interesting game. I like your take on the theme. I hit a point though were it said I had 10 nukes but my button clicks seemed to stop working.

LD46 — Keep it alive

A house without a fire by jimmothysanchez 2020-04-21T14:37:02Z

@azzure - Thanks for the feed back. The heart beat rate is supposed to let you know how the fire is doing, but it's not very obvious. I've added that to the description.

Feed The Furnace by Frozedon 2020-04-21T21:48:53Z

Excellent game. I just blew an hour playing this thing. My only complaint is that it's not super obvious how to set up the conveyor belt. I accidentally set mine up taking the wood away from the furnace the first time.

The Appetite of Blaise the Fire by Drunkain 2020-04-21T02:36:08Z

This was a legitimately fun game to play. One of the best I've seen so far. Good job guys!

The Scary Job by Mikabrytu 2020-04-21T02:44:28Z

I like that the flashlight give you an idea of where the ghosts are but is there anything that let's you know where the broken things are, or a visual queue to let you know what is broken?

Hop to it by Owen Rees 2020-04-21T22:34:54Z

Good game. A couple things that I think could help would be an indicator the day before that states specifically if someone is going to die the next day. If you fail to feed a frog it let's you play 1 more day before it ends the game for you and there doesn't seem to be anything you can do in that time that would change that outcome. Also it would be nice to be able to skip to the next day once you are done planting and buying instead of having to wait for a clock to count down. That having been said it was a fun little game.

Save the Fish by Duck Reaction 2020-04-21T14:45:55Z

This is a great little game. Good work!

Tear the damn tree down by Glox 2020-04-21T03:13:24Z

Good game. If I had one suggestion it would be to feed information to the player over time. The first screen hist you with a bunch of buttons that you have to memorize for skills that it doesn't appear that you start with, and no information on what those things are other than their key binding. Might be easier for the player if you start small, say just move and shoot, and then gradually introduce plant, heal and grenade in later waves.

LD47 — Stuck in a loop

Crazy Looper by LeReveur 2020-10-13T01:35:21Z

This was great! One of the most fin games I've played. I love how simple the concept was. One thing that I think would be really cool to add would be a counter for the number of failed attempts or maybe even a score multiplier for getting it in the red zone after bouncing it off the end.

Loop Cultist by udo 2020-10-25T23:22:14Z

This an interesting idea for a game. Really nice implementation. I also went with a looping cultist theme.

Dizzy Ryder by loveapplegames 2020-10-13T01:01:32Z

This is a cool concept, but it seems a little too easy to wind up in no win scenarios based on how quickly you lose momentum, and it seems like based on how the map generates there are some levels that just start unwinnable. Maybe I'm just bad at it though. It would be really cool if there were some sort of mechanic that allowed you to re-build your momentum.

Do-While-For by primitive-concept 2020-10-13T01:10:18Z

This was a really cool take on the theme. I wish I had thought of it. The post process effects were also a really nice touch.

Chaos in the Cabin by Moritz Jaeger 2020-10-25T23:07:31Z

Great game! really funny

Loopocalypse by Kongo 2020-10-05T22:55:12Z

This is a really cute game. I like your take on the theme. I couldn't really figure out what the advantage was to any one room over another, or what affected the score. Are you supposed to match certain people with certain rooms? Also I couldn't figure out what the combo meter at the bottom was supposed to do. Cute game but it could use some instructions.

LD48 — Deeper and deeper

Dwarf Dig Deep by Lintfordpickle 2021-04-27T01:44:20Z

Nice game. I'm really impressed that you made the engine. The art also fits it well. This seems like a lot of work for a compo game. Congrats on finishing.

DieAblo by Emkani 2021-05-18T15:36:06Z

This is a really cool idea for a game with a decent execution. I think the balance is a little off, but surprisingly good for the amount of time you had.

MineWell by superpokeunicorn 2021-04-27T01:29:16Z

This was great. I really like the art style and the game-play felt juicy.

Deepest Darkest Double Bogey by jimmothysanchez 2021-04-26T17:57:25Z

@morphine Hey thanks for playing the game and leaving a comment! For anyone reading the comments in the future though you can increase the swing power by clicking on the on-screen buttons in the lower right corner. Controls.PNG

**edit:** which I'm also now realizing have a typo....

Deepest Darkest Double Bogey by jimmothysanchez 2021-04-26T18:07:56Z

@morphine Ah, yeah. I was trying not to have the screen be too busy by adding too much text, but I guess it doesn't read as well.

Deepest Darkest Double Bogey by jimmothysanchez 2021-04-28T13:18:24Z

@dninosores Oh man. Not sure why you can't. I'm pretty sure I checked those checkboxes when I set this page up, but it looks like I didn't and I can't change it now for some reason. oof

Deepest Darkest Double Bogey by jimmothysanchez 2021-04-28T18:33:56Z

@dninosores Thanks for bringing the missing ratings categories to my attention. I was able to reach out and get that fixed!

Press Space To Jump The Gap by foolmoron 2021-05-11T03:55:16Z

This is great man! I played this for quite a while. It's a really clever take on the theme. I loved the everything crashed message when I attempted to use a beta version. My only real complaint is the snapping on the zoom. Maybe my mouse is garbage, but getting zooming in and out became a bit of a chore, and at one point my window got stuck at the most zoomed out level and refused to zoom back in so I had to restart the game. That being said though these are small complaints on a really cool game!

Deepest Sword by Strega 2021-05-13T04:01:36Z

This was a fun and original game mechanic teamed up with a great art style and decent execution. Nice game and good job!

Deeper And Deeper by hypp 2021-04-27T01:36:47Z

Congrats on getting that done in PICO8. I'm sure it was no easy feat. The game was good, and I really liked the opening montage.

Dwarf Inc. by Matthieu Riboulot 2021-04-27T01:13:08Z

That was a pretty cool game. I noticed there's a glitch when a balrog attacks where it says it's going to remove some miners but it never does. Also I was able to work out what did what, but it might be nice to have a little description of how the game works on the LD page.

A Sinking Feeling by rpgfaker 2021-04-27T01:19:58Z

This is really clever. I genuinely enjoyed it. I didn't make it very far though. It's decently difficult.

RRRR U Scared ? by Chalivat Quentin 2021-05-03T01:28:11Z

Hey I think My comments are going to echo a lot of the comments you are getting. The game looks great and plays well, but the controls feel pretty off. I'm not sure what the reason was for mapping the turns like you did, but it seems unintuitive. Also the mouse look feels really floaty in a unappealing way. But I will say that those flaws are overshadowed by the good qualities in the game and that this is overall a really decent entry.

Depper and Depper by gerudoking 2021-05-18T15:56:06Z

This was a really interesting take on the theme. I liked it a lot. My main complaint though would be on user interaction. The scrolling of the text was way too fast if I clicked on the handle on the right and way too slow if I used the mouse wheel. It made getting through large amounts of text really cumbersome. Other than that though great job!

Deeper get Deeper by maxi1324 2021-05-03T01:16:57Z

Hey looks like this is your first Ludum Dare. Don't get discouraged by bugs. Your game plays pretty decently for a first time entry, and you finished within the time limit which should be celebration enough in it's own right. Congrats on entering and good luck with your future games!

Leap of Faith by Sombrero Guy 2021-05-11T03:34:50Z

Your art is amazing. I really liked the shirt parachute mechanic. I only wish that the difficulty ramped up a little bit more as you got further down. I barely touched my controls and made it to the bottom with all of my hearts.

Peripherals by KeyFriends 2021-05-08T03:58:29Z

That was a really clever game. I enjoyed the key binging mechanics. It kept things from getting stale. Nice entry.

LD50 — Delay the inevitable

Life's the Wurst by jimmothysanchez 2022-04-06T14:37:29Z

Hey thanks everyone who has played my game and given some feedback! I realize the game starts pretty easy but if you let it go for a bit the enemies spawn at faster and faster rates and the forks and knives fire faster and more accurately as time goes on. That having been said I probably should have sped that process up. Thanks for the feedback.

Like Rabbits by ruthiepee 2022-04-04T19:48:28Z

This is great. I love what you did with the theme. Game is super hard. Personal highest score was 77.

Sheep Heard by ChrisAntem 2022-04-05T20:24:03Z

Wow that was definitely a concept I hadn't seen before. It's really clever and I think you did great things with it.

Inevitable Defense by CodeChomper 2022-04-04T21:15:10Z

Cool game. The art style is nice and feels reminiscent of older 8 bit games. My only complaint would be with the controls. I feel like you intentionally made it a little difficult to turn around to help add gameplay difficulty, but due to that it's nearly impossible to look at an enemy without flying towards it. That mixed with a small screen size makes a lot of inadvertent collisions with things you are trying to shoot at. Overall though I think the game is really good.

The Coup by Darylsteak 2022-04-06T00:31:20Z

This is really cool. I really dig the aesthetic and the gameplay is fun. I recommend adding some more instructions to the page though. The rules aren't self apparent.

Unhoarded by Andreas Roschal 2022-04-06T00:44:47Z

This is a solid entry. I liked the main game loop and adding the ability to upgrade your skills between losses was a nice touch

Rising wind Island by ShivArt 2022-04-05T23:07:17Z

This is a great entry. Probably the most fun game I've played this LD.

Too Cute for Space Fights by YogurtTheHorse 2022-04-05T20:14:03Z

Great game. Great art. I think you did really well with this one. My only complaint is that there needs to be a little more feedback to the player. As the player if a shield is down, and my ship is on fire it's impossible for me to prioritize one over the other as I have no idea which is more important. I also feel like I'm doing things around the ship to improve the duration of my survival, but it's never really communicated back to me that what I did made any real difference.

Wait For It ! by Forgin Bits 2022-04-04T13:55:09Z

Great game. Adding a leader board was a really nice touch. This is an amazing entry for a compo submission.

MARCHINE by Freeb 2022-04-05T22:11:49Z

Cool game. It took me a while to figure out that in order to open the upgrade menu you have to go to the Marchine and press z while your bucket is empty. You might want to add that to the instructions.

Pits and Bricks by jimmothysanchez 2025-04-07T20:52:46Z

@spexxilove ha ha ha... well that's not supposed to happen...

Pits and Bricks by jimmothysanchez 2025-04-07T21:11:27Z

@dingbat I think the trick to winning on hard is a combination of well placed barrels and dumb luck.

5K to Mars by ruthiepee 2025-04-08T02:42:00Z

This is fantastic. I thought it was a good game but when I realized that there's multiple puzzles that took it up a notch. Are the puzzles procedurally generated? It's got a lot of character to the game. I played through 3 rounds and it took me longer than I would like to admit. Great job!

One thing of note though is there seems to be a bug coming out of dialog where runners can get stuck on top of each other and can't be moved after that. Capture.PNG

DOWN INTO THE DEPTHS by red 2025-04-10T00:24:37Z

This is a simple concept executed really well. The little mechanics such as the time it takes to reload, the fact that you don't immediately stop when you quit falling and way the light reacts to the ledges really sell the game. You can tell that it's been well though out. Great job this is a really nice entry.

The Cleaner of the depth by Egor Iv 2025-04-14T23:35:08Z

This is one of the most aesthetically pleasing game jams games I've ever played. It took me a minute to figure out that the sounds were key in determining if a tooth was safe or not. I got to a point though were I felt like I had tried every tooth at least twice and cleaned all the safe ones but nothing happened.

Plundersea by Hugimugi7 2025-04-24T03:27:10Z

Interesting take on a minesweeper game. The color based mechanic was interesting and forced me to take chances I would have otherwise not taken. I think you were a little too generous with the extra lives but that might just be personal taste. I thought the audio really took this game to the next level though. good story telling through a minesweeper game.

Cinderseed by val.ociraptor 2025-04-08T02:54:10Z

This one was a lot of fun. Took a few tries to win. The Cinderseed is extremely fickle in what it's willing to eat. The art is great and I really liked how the music helped convey the sense of urgency. Well done!

Depths of Hell by GabrielGameDev 2025-04-10T00:38:32Z

This is pretty cool! Nice degree of challenge, good and consistent visual aesthetic, and well done audio. It felt really polished for a game jam game.

Dig Down by Rustywolf 2025-04-07T19:18:23Z

This is pretty cool! Took me a bit but I eventually found the win screen. Is there any way to lose?

Ludum Dare 57 Depth Of A Phrase by Beebster Games 2025-04-07T22:00:35Z

@beebster-games I think there may be a bug with how you are getting mouse location. Might have to do with different screen resolutions? If click on the puzzle nothing happens but if I click in the area to the left of the puzzle letters start changing color.

Ludum Dare 57 Depth Of A Phrase by Beebster Games 2025-04-08T03:51:26Z

So after some trial and error I was able to click to the side and eventually solve some of these puzzles. The wife played with me and has a real knack for word puzzles. We managed to make it through 4 of them. Just a heads up There's a typo in the answer for the 4th puzzle which adds an extra bit of difficulty. Overall though we really enjoyed this game. This was a lot of fun. The music is also really well done. Despite sitting with the game for quite a while I wasn't tired of the music loop.

Minersweeper by vegasword 2025-04-07T19:03:23Z

Neat game. I found the audio cues helpful, but a more detailed explanation of the rules might be useful.

Nailed It! by Rachenite 2025-04-08T02:13:34Z

This is a great entry! The take on the theme is really novel. I love the art it looks great!

LD41 — Combine 2 Incompatible Genres

Golf with Guns by Issac 2018-04-28T03:59:03Z

This is a great idea with excellent execution. Nice job!

FishOut by auxC 2018-04-23T21:39:27Z

This is a beautiful game. The graphics are great!

FeedTheFatties by CaylebLucas 2018-04-23T22:54:50Z

It's really hard to throw the food to the people. Is there a trick to it?

Tetrodef by demaw 2018-04-23T22:34:09Z

The fact that the tower pieces have kickback makes stacking nearly impossible. It would be cool if there was some sort of mechanic that could lock two pieces together. Like if you got a perfect stack. Cool concept for a game though!

Card Royale by Ruoyu 2018-04-23T21:06:31Z

It's a cool concept. I think it might work better turn based. As it stands now the best strategy just seems to be to play cards the fastest.

Putt Putt Boom by AndrewW 2018-04-27T01:53:54Z

Really clever concept. I found it a little frustrating that my towers could knock the ball closer to the cup as well as away from it. I'd also have to agree with some of the other comments that the game would be much improved with les of a straight shot map, but otherwise a good job!

STEW'M by Bradalli 2018-04-24T22:53:34Z

Aiming and turning felt a little off. There seems to be a delay between when the character's body/face turn and when the gun does. It's a cool effect but it's a little disorienting for the player.

Red Rock Harvest by popcorn_hat 2018-04-28T03:42:00Z

Great game. I found it oddly relaxing. Its a great basis if you ever feel like going back and adding more variety to the weapons, plants, or ,monsters

SCARE-CADE by lum 2018-04-27T01:43:46Z

It's a really nice touch that the enemies can pick up weapons. This game is fun but it would really benefit from the addition of a minimap.

Python Barrage by Blackbird 2018-04-28T03:03:47Z

Very well done. I agree with the other comments that you've found a great way to combine both the genres in a way that improves them instead of detracts from them. My only advice is that it's a little hard to see the power up against the background, and that pressing esc doesn't quit the game. Other than that great job.
