Nice game
Great visuals and mood but I found it too stressful to play. Especially with the news lately...just really unfortunate timing.
I freaking love your aesthetics and general idea. Followed your progression on discord and quite happy to see the endresult! congrats on that lil goodie.
This game seems very fun and is certainly difficult but is extremely rewarding when you save your crew from impossible odds. Good job!
Gameplay is hectic but in a good way. Cool concept and good execution, well done!
I found the game to be very good. I congratulate you
Remarkably polished game! The audio didn't seem to match the hectic nature of the game, what with all the juggling, but the audio it did have was very well done. The exploration of the theme wasn't too exciting, but you certainly made a good game around it, I think the player movement around the ship could have been a little quicker and maneuverable, but it served it's purpose well. Great job!
I'm really impressed with this game from concept to execution. My fingers have yet to work as an efficient team however.
Very delicate game~, graphic is well designed. However, one little piece of advice is that, the jumping mechanism is bit of not polished. If is designed as a 2D top view chamber would be smmoother for gameplay.
Maybe it was a WebGL thing, but I couldn't interact with the play or how-to right out of th egate. Thanks for having the directions handy on the website though!
Nice! Cool concept. The switching among the three characters, along with all the different game mechanics, could take a moment to get used to. But neat idea for gameplay. Like the sound, too.
Great game, very polished, felt like it could've done better as a multiplayer experience.
This game becomes instantly chaotic, I love it! Beautiful pixelart aswell. And great work on the sounds.
I didn't manage to complete it though. I think the difficulty is too high from the start. Maybe it should ramp up more slowly over time.
Good job!
This is really clever. I genuinely enjoyed it. I didn't make it very far though. It's decently difficult.
Really nice atmosphere and graphics and a very difficult game.
Game feels and looks great. Love the sound too. Struggled figuring out what I'm supposed to do or how to not die so quickly, but this is very impressive.
Cool game, I am really bad at it though. I am not good at the switching for multitasking. Well executed all around however.
@asdehielo I'm glad you like it! If it makes you feel any better, there is no "completing" the game, it goes on until you lose.
Great work! It has a solid atmosphere and the feeling of working under pressure (it gives me good memories of an old board game I love, Red November). I love the little touches like the warning light, the targeting radar popup, and the having the power go out sometimes. One note: I kinda wish you could multitask more (e.g. repair bars still fill for non-controlled characters). I kinda wish you had more time since I can see a lot of ways you may have wanted to take the game (flooding, opening doors to manage water flow, fires, etc). Awesome job~
cool concept! decent challenge to it
Wow, this game has an incredible amount of polish and content, I'll have to come back to it, I feel like I've barely scratched the surface (no pun intended). Absolutely gorgeous art. Bravo!
As for the tiniest feature request: could you do something about the behaviour of the ESC key? I'd love to play in full-screen mode, but whenever I pause with ESC, the browser exits full-screen mode. Any chance that a single `preventDefault()` could fix this?
This game is interesting, took me a while to understand what was happening, the gameplay feels fun but chaotic, feels like I'm playing a multiplayer game with one person.
The art and sounds are the best I've seen so far in the jam. The ship and gun movement felt a little sluggish, speeding it up may help the balance.
Very polished. A bit complicated at first, but it becomes manageable as time goes on. This game would be spectacular in multiplayer.
It took me a minute to get the hang of it but it was fun!
Wow, very difficult, but I love the art, the mood and concept. I tried a few times to get to the very bottom, but at about 80% of the way through it seems you pretty much have to man the torpedo controls full time to keep the ship alive. I would have liked to be able to repair the ship while shooting (start the crew member repairing then switch them away), as later on there's just not really any down time to repair anyway. Very cool submission!
This game looks awesome! I think there may be a few bugs but overall it seems to work well. It's really fun! I'm not very good at it though, haha.
Looks really well polished. Took me a minute to figure out how everything works. Really unique take on the platformer.
The idea for this game is great, but I felt like the execution needed a few tweaks. It seemed like the mines weren't really dodgeable so steering the sub didn't seem helpful, also I would have liked to be able to select a certain character for example with 1,2,3. But still, overall it was a good game.
Nice game! I really like how everything looks! Controlling the multiple characters makes it a nice puzzle game and a challenging one! Good Job !
Challenging but fun, it looks great!
Presentation and style are great. Really like the sub command system. It was too difficult for me, but I would like to see a post-ld version!
I loooooove this game, the concept is amazing and I love the puzzles (Though I wish there were some kind of clues for the mirror (Mabey I missed it)). I also was confused that the dictionary wasn't able to help me read the words on the wall. Great job!!!
This game looks very good! However, I would say that the controls are a bit odd.
nice idea, love the clean pixel art though I can't tell which action to solve which issue have to guess at first but made in 3 days this is really good
Wow great game!!! Kudos to the team... difficult but lots of fun.
That was really cool. The game is really well polished. The ship layout reminded me of FTL.
Favorite game so far. Clean execution of everything, fun and creative gameplay.
You should definitely take this farther, a bigger sub with multiplayer perhaps? Each player controls a few characters around the sub, each dedicated to a sector of it?
Amazing polish !
Good game! Great job!
Very nice concept. The game was quite challenging. The art is lovely and the mood is very good. Would love to see this as a co-op game to play with other people.
Cool idea with team management. I didn't understand how to get rid of the torpedoes that constantly follow me. And it seems that some mines cannot be avoided. But maybe I didn’t figure it out.
A really well thought out game. Requires a whole set of skills that I am yet to master!
This made me panic so hard! I am so bad at micro management but I really tried cause this was genuinely fun to play and try to go further. Well done! Having the buttons indicated in game space is a nice touch, like on the radar panel, definitely going to learn that trick for future works.
really neat!
The idea of this game is really great. The pixel-art look good and its actually fun to command your crew. My biggest problem is, that I have to have a crewmember selected for her to complete a job. This totally eliminates any multitaskig. After a certain point all I could do was repair because while one repair job was done the ship was already hit by another torpedo.
I would suggest removing this limitation and instead adding one more control, maybe a throttle, or removing one crew member to keep the challenge up. All in all, great work. Well done!
Very cool concept, though I only read the instructions on this page after a few confused tries to figure out what I'm supposed to do. Two other things: It took me a while to figure out that the sub's collider was smaller than the graphic, so I couldn't figure out how to dodge the mines. Also, the radar's aiming might be a tad too slow; if it's pointing down and a torpedo comes from above, there appears to be no way to get to it in time. Also, as the above commenter mentioned, being able to have a crew member do something while not active would have been cool. Overall, nice job; I enjoyed it.
Very cool instruction, found my self getting better after I understood the mechanic more. One thing is I still am not sure how to destroy the "depth charge" bomb things. Great art and gameplay.
The game is pretty fun! Nice graphics and sounds that in conjunction with the game mechanics, reinforce a constant sense of urgency
Really cute game! I love the art and I think the concept is brilliant! At first was a bit challenging, but it got really good quickly as well! :) Overall solid entry
very very hard, but awesome mechanic. its impossible for me control 1 life (mine) imagine 3 hahahhaa good work, I can see a future for this game.
Awesome game! I love how you drew the characters and the submarine, simple but interesting. The submarine has a Metal Slug feeling for me :) I like the different stations too, clever multitasking game! Well done!
Very cool, fun and difficilt game. Visually beautiful. The music and SFX bring a sense os desperate urgence in solve the issues. Good job!
Love the cute little ship! Even more sad when I got it crushed as I couldn't manage my people quick enough... I wonder how the gameplay would feel like if you would use more indirect controls, no direct people controls but rather give person A task X which will take some time to execute and then give person B task Y etc - that way you could in later levels add more characters. And ideally just start with one to learn the ropes.
Was thinking of posting a highscore screen but I don't think 1000something would be very good :/
