LD48 — Deeper and deeper

Billy's Gone Again by KingOfNova 2021-04-27T02:02:24Z

Man, what a goofy fun game. Just awesome, well done!

A Sinking Feeling by rpgfaker 2021-04-27T01:18:01Z

Nice! Cool concept. The switching among the three characters, along with all the different game mechanics, could take a moment to get used to. But neat idea for gameplay. Like the sound, too.

Deep Dish Delivery by shaner421 2021-04-27T04:00:09Z

I think it would take a bit to master the controls but I really enjoyed this! Neat colors, cool musical vibe. And of course, a great double-whammy for using the deeper and deeper theme!

Space GELD by ElMikosch 2021-04-27T05:08:01Z

This was really fun. Might take a bit to learn to fly this craft well, but the whole visual aesthetic made me smile. For a game jam game, shockingly close to feeling like I'm flying around an asteroid field. Awesome!

Flying! In Space! But with Asteroids! by Syrail 2021-04-27T01:54:59Z

I could figure out my left and right hand nav controls but couldn't figure out how to interact in any way. So I assumed it was just me and only voted on the things I could experience. I love the look, the feel, the creepy sound track, the sound design. And I played the game in the first place because the title card was just so. Damn. Funny.

I don't think I've laughed so much playing a video game? Maybe ever? Nice work.

LD52 — Harvest

It was all for the Tuna by rosypenguin 2023-01-10T03:53:56Z

Wow. I don't expect to find a better game than this, at least be several metrics. I love the mechanic. I thought the fish AI, the look and feel of the boating and the sea, and the general feel of fishing were suuuuuuper. A+ for a game jam game, wow. I wish I could have scored this game and done sound design for it, some really great opportunities for artful, detailed, patent, understated music and sound. What's there is so mega basic, and not nearly as subtle as the game deserves, in my opinion. The very short loops wear on you. Also... I boated around forever, caught lots of tuna, but never saw a town. I feel like maybe there ought to be one or two more. Eventually I realized that the place I was starting from was a town, and I tried to keep track of where it was so I could come back to it. Overall *excellent*. Bought it on Itch and followed you! Can't wait to show this one to my daughters. Keep up the good work, and thank you!

GRIM REAPER: Harvester of Souls by dkdwrek 2023-01-10T03:25:38Z

Cool! I like the throwing mechanic. I think the little dark vignette around the edge does great things for the mood. Seems like everyone stops or slows when I swing my scythe sometimes. And I didn't see a score on the screen, so it seems like without getting onto the leaderboard I won't know how I did...

Apples of Agony by Joey Shipley 2023-01-09T22:16:26Z

Nice little game! I had issues trying to catch any fruit as it fell -- it didn't seem completely consistent whether it worked or not. I love the art / visual aesthetic. Wish it had some kind of music or sound. As observed by someone else, a great base for a not-so-idle idle game.

The Ballad of Eric Hernandez, Cattle Rancher by GeraldFIngBurke 2023-01-10T03:29:27Z

Wow. Just... wow. Points for the wide variety of "moo" sounds. They kept making me laugh. Kudos!

Shroom Hunter by Patsui 2023-01-10T03:18:14Z

Very nice! Addictive is right. And my strategy has evolved too. Great job getting enemy UI and a good upgrade system in place in such a short time. Love it.

Asteroid Rush by Aarimous 2023-01-10T18:41:09Z

Really fun game! Thank you for the funny VO and SFX! My personal strategy was trying to line up as many asteroids as I could along Pluto's orbit, and then flinging a bunch toward Mercury.

Alien Fruit Harvest by kossnocorp 2023-01-10T18:22:46Z

Congrats on finishing! Great effort. I love the colors, the main character design, and the animations/sound effects of the main character. Just awesome. I feel like the game needs some balancing—either a jumping/aiming mechanic that's somehow a little easier to control, or at least a few more or bigger platforms in the beginning so you don't risk falling so far until you're getting the hang of the mechanic. If I wanted to get good at it, I'd basically have to sit and practice aiming for little tiny platforms over and over again and missing almost every time. Having some success while learning would definitely up the fun factor for me.

Money grows on trees by Fluburbio 2023-01-10T18:56:03Z

Cute art style! It could have used some cues that upgrades are unavailable or have reached their limit. And it definitely needs downward balancing! Maybe fruit left on the tree too long spoils but you still have to pick it to grow more? Maybe trees entirely full of spoiled fruit start to die or produce less? By several rounds in I had 6 banana trees and had seemingly maxed out upgrades. With some balancing this could be really fun, nice work.
