Vast Trivia Of The Void by JorgeGameDev 2021-05-18T17:58:03Z

This looks and plays like a professional game, I can't believe it was made in 3 days! Insane polish, amazing art, great music and sound design. I think it's only missing the possiblity to play with friends. I could see this becoming very popular as an online mobile game.

This is a 10/10 from me, congrats!

Plunder of Goblin's Grove by aurel 2021-05-18T18:24:55Z

Amazing looking game. This is just insane for a game jam, there is so much content and in 3D, props for that! A few suggestions: - The aiming seems a bit off, specially with the spears. - I think the movement is too floaty for the platforming sections, maybe reduce the inertia - There seems to be no reason to have limited bombs, it can lead to people getting stuck unable to break the brick walls.

Amazing job, congrats!

Falling down from above by Sublustris 2021-05-11T14:14:44Z

Simple concept but well executed. I got a little bit addicted to this and I managed to reach 62 points! Gets very challenging after a while :)

The music was awesome, it got me hooked up into the game just to hear more of it. The art and visual effects are nice as well.

Great job overall!

The Deepest Threat by Goutye 2021-04-26T15:43:17Z

I really enjoyed this game! I completed it in my first try.

The gameplay was simple (which I liked), and the art was nice to look at. Maybe it's missing a few more enemies, but I understand the time limit exists.

My only complaint is that the enemies would sometimes appear behind the foreground, and the music got repetitive pretty fast. Apart from that it's a 10/10 in my book.

Congratulations!

Well, that sounds fun! by Jani Nykanen 2021-04-27T00:59:07Z

The artstyle is amazing, you got a few chuckles out of me whenever a new enemy appeared. The gameplay and sounds are very satisfying aswell. My only complaint is the music, I think it doesn't really fit the game, but honestly that's just me being picky.

10/10

Descending by khofez 2021-05-11T23:56:45Z

This game has the most insane visuals I've seen so far. The gameplay is very satisfying. The music is cool and helps build the mood. The sound effects were high quality, but they were very repetitive, specially the hit and jump voice lines.

Some suggestions: - The potions shouldn't block the character, otherwise you risk getting stuck on the more narrow passages. - The enemy health seemed a bit off: the "fat" enemies were dying in 3 hits while the "skinny" enemies were dying in 4. Usually you want the weaker-seeming enemies to die faster. - I defeated the boss but nothing happened, it just brought me back to the beginning. I'm assuming there's no ending because of the lack of time, but maybe an end screen would have been enough.

Very cool game, I can appreciate the amount of work that went into this. Keep it up!

Project Orpheo by zondarg 2021-04-30T22:51:01Z

Nice game with great pixelart and sound design.

I have 2 suggestions: - There should be a way to walk on the ground, but I understande this is difficult in a game jam, as it requires resources on animations and programming. - The lives system seemed unnecessary, as it just added frustration to me.

Good game overall, good job!

Holey Hell by managore 2021-04-29T10:26:24Z

This is just so cool and original. The graphics are simple but they work so well, the sounds are satisfying, the gameplay is fluid and there's a lot of skill involved. Even the lack of music feels like it fits the style.

Honestly one of my favorites, congrats!

Celestial Corruption by godsboss 2021-04-29T18:58:10Z

This was a nice bullet hell game with good storytelling and great pixelart. I completed it on my first try!

I have 2 suggestions: - Make the enemy bullets brighter, they were a bit difficult to see against the dark background - Do not show story during the battles. It's hard to read and pay attention to the game at the same time, and the UI was on the way sometimes.

Also, I read your "No sound as (nearly) always". I just want to say that sound is extremely important in making a game fun to play, so it's worth prioritizing even in a game jam. You can find high quality, free to use sounds on freesound.org (Sorry this seemed like a lecture lol).

Anyway, good entry, hoping to see you again in a future jam!

Nuclear blaze by deepnight 2021-05-01T13:01:06Z

Awesome visuals, cool mechanic, nice level design. Just a shame it doesn't have any audio.

It desperately needs a checkpoint system though, I died in one of the longer levels after about 3 minutes and had to do it all over, which was a very frustrating.

Still an amazing game, congrats!

Deeper Than You Think by Genpaku 2021-04-27T22:43:42Z

Funny, cute looking game. It plays well and I liked the upgrade system.

My suggestions are basically what other people said already: O2 should refill much quicker, and it's too easy to get locked out of the flashlight. I read you said you didn't want to make them visible, but perhaps making that zone just a bit darker could work.

Good job!

Dieper & Deaper by Chartle 2021-05-04T11:13:39Z

Very fun game, good pixelart, good music. Got a few laughs out of me :) My favorite part was beating up everyone in that room full of people.

I think it just needs a way to speed up the dialogues.

Great entry, good job!

Stolen Time by loginaut 2021-05-18T17:24:18Z

Really cool game, very interesting interpretation of the theme! I specially liked the second puzzle, where de actions in the present influenced the future.

It's a little bit easy to bug tho, I managed to get to the limits of the map once and fell through the ground another time, wich meant I had to restart :(

Overall a great game, and props for doing a 3d game that looks this good in such little time!

Safe Cave by Papaver 2021-04-29T11:17:01Z

Really cool concept, amazing animations, good level design to exploit the mechanic as much as possible. The music and sounds fit the vibe pretty well.

Overall a very solid entry, nice job!

Deepest Sword by Strega 2021-04-27T11:30:44Z

Extremely good game, great pixel art and very original gameplay. Frustrating at times, I feel like the sword should slide a little on the ground.

Nevertheless, this is a winner in my book. Congratulations!

Mr. & Ms. Deeper: Descent to Inner Depth by SIGILL 2021-05-11T10:52:59Z

Good little game, nice art, and that little bit of story made me invested in the characters.

I have a few suggestions: - Have the buttons and doors be color coded so it's easier to identify which button opens which door. - Have the character move with the moving platforms. - Add a 2 player mode. Feels like it would be very fun with a partner :)

Solid entry, good job!

Craft, Code, Burnout by gamescodedogs 2021-05-11T14:42:40Z

Really cool game, it was so fun having a little army of robot slaves. I see a lot of potential here for a large scale game.

If you are planning on developing this further, I would start by adding some quality of life improvements, like: - Working on the pathfinding, which seemed a bit broken - Having a command for robots to interact (like wait in this position for this robot and then mix) - Adding the possibility to save and copy commands to a different robot

Anyway, props for the amount of work you managed to do in such little time. Congrats!

Coffin Drop by cdunham 2021-04-30T01:31:05Z

That was a very interesting idea for a survival game. However, I think that burying the coffins should make the zombies not resurrect at all. Otherwise I feel like it's not worth it, as it takes too much time and it's too risky to let go of the weapon.

The game is very fun and satisfying to play though, good job!

Welldiver by DevEmil 2021-04-29T09:47:00Z

Very polished game, fluid gameplay, beautiful graphics and satisfying audio.

The biggest problem for me was that some hazards appeared of screen, which made them really hard to react to.

Great job!

Fetal Fury by Squidly 2021-04-29T13:51:53Z

Cool game, the music is badass, and I like the concept of spending mere seconds on a single room, forces you to think quickly. The dialogue about shouting to a body made me laugh.

As feedback, I found the time upgrade to be overpowered. I think it would be better if it was changed for a different one (like a health upgrade of some sort), and then increase the initial time.

Great job!

Fallumns by Logan 2021-04-30T10:33:08Z

What an insane game. I love games that aren't what they seem. It's just a shame that it looks like a matching game on the outside, because it's probably turning people away from it.

10/10, my favorite so far.

Dungeon Depths by MaximBegunov 2021-04-29T09:25:10Z

The rope physics are amazing obviously, but the pixelart stood out to me aswell.

This was a good experience considering it was made in 48hr, so I have just 1 small suggestion: I feel like a little bit of faster speed when climbing would be good.

Great job!

Just Fishin' by Antti Haavikko 2021-04-29T10:12:59Z

Relaxing and very funny looking game. I liked all the little animations that make the world feel alive. It felt a bit slow early on, but it picked up once I unlocked the dog.

Overall a pretty enjoyable experience, congrats!

Just Call Your Mom by willjardine 2021-04-27T14:13:27Z

I liked the metaphorical approach to the theme, specially the fact that the final enemy is your own self. The art and sounds fit really well too.

From the gameplay perspective, I think it would benefit from enemies coming from both sides of the screen. I found that I could just carry a trash can in front of me all the time and the enemies couldn't attack me at all.

Cool game!

Infratoad by Seb_degraff 2021-04-27T13:18:42Z

The art is nice, visually it's a really fun game. The gameplay is simple but works well.

However, the keyboard controls didn't make any sense to me. Seems like both players need to have their hands crossed. I'll have to try again if I come across a controller.

Good job!

Under Pressure by OadT 2021-05-18T18:54:55Z

Funny game, it was cool trying different combinations and failing every time x) Feels like it would improve a lot just by having music.

Small suggestion, add a button to clear your ship in the hangar (I may have missed it if it exists)

Good job!

Made in the Deep by ambivorous 2021-04-28T23:56:32Z

It looks good and the mechanic is very interesting.

However, I wasn't able to beat level 3. I think it needs to be a bit more forgiving so you are not required to find the exact right path.

Good job!

Gardner Lake by AdonisDevs 2021-05-02T21:48:21Z

That was such a cool experience. This is exactly the kind of game I love to find in a jam. You managed to build an atmosphere that is both relaxing and unsettling. The art was simple but effective, the sound design was perfect.

2 minor things that I think could be improved: - Sometimes the bubbles overlap, and they are a bit hard to click. I think the layer order of the bubbles should be the same as the order in which you have to click them (as in the first bubble should be on top of the second, the second on top of the third, etc.). That way they won't block each other. - When I completed the game, it closed right when I reached the last dialogue, and I didn't have time to read it (I was pressing space to skip). I can imagine why you did that, but maybe leaving it for 2-3 seconds works too.

Good game, thank you for making this. Keep it up!

The Chasm by Re-Markable 2021-05-11T15:55:59Z

Amazing game, great concept and execution. Never thought I would play as a handle! Also, props for making a 3d game that looks so good in just 72 hours!

My only complaint is that it ended a little bit abruptly. But that is expected in a game jam.

Fantastic job!

INTO THE FRAME by Gaming Night 2021-05-03T12:24:08Z

Very cool mechanic, good visual effects, amazing music and sounds.

I feel like the levels needed a bit more testing tho, I completed many of them simply by going fast to the exit, not even going deeper. In fact, I completed the last level without going to the 3rd depth level.

Still an awesome game, congrats!

Drain the Sea by tgb20 2021-04-28T23:08:45Z

Cool, simple strategy game with great voxel art. I liked how you integrated the UI with the world.

Some usability improvements: I think the buy options should rotate towards the camera, and adding right click to unselect in addition to escape so it can be played with one hand.

By the way, the description says you have to reach 5km, but it's actually 50km.

Great game!

Deeper Understanding by detectiveLosos 2021-04-28T12:30:12Z

I always give props for doing 3D games in a jam, and this one looks specially amazing. Congrats!

For me, more than scary, it was anxiety inducing (which isn't bad, but I think it wasn't your intention). I believe the pacing was a bit off for a horror game, as in the events happened with no time between each other or even at the same time in the third iteration. And then the characters breaking into my house, that would make me go crazy in real life!

Music would have also helped to build that horror atmosphere.

Nice game overall, and very different to some of the other entries, which was appreciated :)

The Space Between Us by LaneDavis 2021-05-01T12:21:04Z

What a cool game. Awesome graphics, simple minigames (which is good), great music and sound design. Everything is just amazing.

I have one problem with it tho: I thought the dialogs were funny, but maybe there were too many of them. At some point I just wanted to complete the tasks while listening to the music and enjoying the mood, but it was impossible.

Still, that didn't really bother me too much. Great game, congrats!

Square Diver by FussenKuh 2021-04-28T23:19:52Z

Very simple but fun game. The hit sounds were so satisfying to the point I didn't mind losing lol. I liked the detail of leaving your corpse for you to see on subsequente runs.

A nice time killer!

Autumn Hike by Brusi 2021-05-01T13:10:50Z

What a cute little game. Very original interpretation of the theme. Nice pixelart, music was beautiful and fit the mood perfectly.

This is a 10/10 by me, congrats!

A Cat in the Aliens' Lair by Sheinxy 2021-04-29T18:41:38Z

Such a cute game! Nice art and illumination work, and the gameplay was simple and effective. I liked the story too.

One minor complaint is that I couldn't see the enemies on the bigger levels because the camera view was too small. Perhaps allowing to move the camera with the mouse would solve this.

Very enjoyable entry!

Journey for the Records of Remembrance by jasontherand 2021-04-30T22:16:49Z

The music and sounds were so endearing I couldn't stop playing. I didn't figure out how to get inside the heat field without dying, but I enjoyed the game so much even despite that.

Good job!

The Red Crystal by Bastienre4 2021-04-27T12:51:41Z

Nice looking game, can't help but give props for doing a 3d game in such little time. The story got me interested enough to play till the end.

Solid entry, great job!

Monster journal: a short story by Fenderbate 2021-04-26T12:15:33Z

Great graphics. Loved the gameplay, challenging but fair.

I think it's just missing some visual feedback whenever you hit a monster. And more levels :)

My own Asteroid by loonydrope 2021-05-01T12:42:47Z

Simple and fun, I liked the fact that you can anticipate the enemies and the funny voice clips. Also, very original way of telling a story.

Cool game!

Conspiracy Dive by wizard sino 2021-05-11T10:41:18Z

Cool game, nice interpretation of the concept. The puzzles were fun to figure out.

I have one small suggestion, have buttons that can be clicked to interact or close the textboxes in addition to Spacebar and i. That way, the game can be played with 1 hand.

I also found a bug: The bookshelf's textbox was empty, so I had to randomly guess I had to press i.

Keep up the good work!

[WebGL/HTML5] Who am I? by leorid 2021-05-06T17:58:02Z

Great concept and great game, it's a complex mechanic but you executed it so well. The ending is amazing, adds another layer of "depth".

This is a 10/10 by me, congrats!

Bunny Bunny Dig Dig by ZakAmana 2021-04-29T00:55:48Z

This is such a good game, you can tell at first glance it's going to be one of the winners.

Everything works so well, the art is cute, the animations are funny, the gameplay is polished, the sounds and music fit perfectly. Even the itch page is nice to look at.

I have just one small suggestion: It would be nice if you could hold the button to dig instead of spamming it, my hands start to get a bit sore after a while.

Congratulations!

Depths of the Library by Klaus Peter 2021-04-30T22:36:37Z

The graphics are pretty good, and the sounds fit perfectly with the mood.

However, the game was way too difficult. I think it needs a fair bit of balancing work, which I understand is hard to achieve in a game jam, so it's not something really important.

Good job!

Age of Dwarves by DangerBlack 2021-04-29T11:33:21Z

Great art, deep gameplay (pun intended), fitting music and sounds.

I think it's a good game but maybe too ambitious for a game jam. The UI felt unresponsive at times and it needs a way to control multiple units at the same time like some other people said.

Nevertheless, great job for such little time!

Deeper Into The Mind by michaelyount 2021-05-11T14:04:57Z

Nice game, good art, music and sound. The gameplay was simple but fluid.

My suggestions are related to having a bit more clarity, as in: - Some visual and auditive feedback when you hit an enemy - A healthbar of some sort for the player - It was a bit too hard to see the tentacles in the first level - Better hitboxes for the obstacles, at least the first level was a bit hard to maneuver

All in all, good job. Keep it up!

Momo Hides His Box by xDGameStudios 2021-05-03T11:49:19Z

Hey, I really liked the concept. Usually in this kind of game it's easy to get the box stuck in a corner, but you solved that in a very creative way. Level design was good, I specially liked the level where you have to let the enemy push you into the hole. Art is pretty nice too, music and sounds fit well.

I had a problem with it though. I'm not a fan of having to redo everything if you fail. It is very frustrating and adds nothing to the game in my opinion. A level select would have been nice, but restarting the room you failed could work too.

Great job, keep it up!

Deep into the mine by BubakGames 2021-04-27T00:51:00Z

The graphics were really funny. I also liked the illumination, it does capture the atmosphere of a mine.

The biggest problem for me was the jump, it was way too fast and didn't feel satisfying to use. Still, I liked it enough to play a few times and I managed to reach 300m. Those damn spiders!

You Know The Drill by Maksime 2021-04-30T01:20:00Z

I got the heart! Very addicting game, I just wanted the next upgrade, then the next, and so on until I finished the game. Digging is so satisfying once you get a few drill upgrades. It's just missing a sound effect.

I liked how you used the story to introduce all the main mechanics (collecting the minerals, the randomized layouts).

Maybe the pacing could be a bit faster, but that's just my personal preference.

Just a solid, enjoyable entry. Good job!

Jaws of Earth by IceEye 2021-05-18T18:37:05Z

Cool game, the creepy story got me intrigued till the end. I personally liked more the "outside" part of the game rather than the circular stairs, but those definitely fit with the theme.

As a suggestion, some music would make the game much more immersive. By the way, you seem to have forgotten to implement the walking animations when going northwest or southeast x)

Good job, keep it up!

Into The Nightmare by Bungalow 2021-04-30T09:53:00Z

Props for doing a 3D game and making it look so good in such little time. The atmosphere is well achieved and the monster is scary. Great horror game.

My only complaint is that the camera stun is too short. I like the mechanic because it lets you interact with the monster, but I found it to be completely useless.

Great job nevertheless.

Chthonic Brilliance by cassowary 2021-05-08T23:58:03Z

Fantastic puzzle game, cute character, great sound design, good music. I liked the way you introduced every new mechanic through a simple puzzle. The levels were well designed, some of them maybe a little bit confusing at first (specially the sand levels), but there was always a logical solution.

This is a 10/10 from me, very good job!

Shovel is just Love Spelled Backwards by very dark lord 2021-05-03T11:36:16Z

Visually amazing, I loved the sand physics. The music is cool, and I think it goes well with the theme of hell, but the gameplay is too slow to really fit.

Solid entry overall, good job!

Pheromones by Shakedimus 2021-05-18T18:12:00Z

Interesting concept! Was fun having an army of dumb followers. I could see this being expanded into some kind of puzzle game.

Good job!

How to Swim! by backurio 2021-04-30T10:01:23Z

Hey I'm sorry but the tutorial didn't really help, it taught me to swim but I still don't know how to dive!

Jokes aside, very funny game, good job!

Power Station Beta by Dock Frankenstein 2021-05-18T18:48:32Z

Cool game, the mechanic is fun to use and I see a lot of potential in it.

I think the enemies move too fast though, sometimes it felt more like "Press the button at the right time" rather than "Solve the puzzle", which was a bit frustrating.

Still a great entry, good job!

The Icarus by PowerAnze 2021-04-27T17:33:55Z

When I read your post I was a little bit turned off because you said it would be too cryptic, but I tried it anyway out of curiosity. And I was pleasantly surprised!

I've got to say this game is insanely well designed. I understood de UI pretty quickly, and it blew my mind that I could "see" the level layout just by looking at a radar.

This is one of the winners for me, congratulations!

A Sinking Feeling by rpgfaker 2021-04-27T01:18:48Z

This game becomes instantly chaotic, I love it! Beautiful pixelart aswell. And great work on the sounds.

I didn't manage to complete it though. I think the difficulty is too high from the start. Maybe it should ramp up more slowly over time.

Good job!

Sblaaf!! by Thob 2021-04-28T11:50:48Z

Cool game, looks good, plays well, the music and sounds fit pretty well. What else do you need?

I found a bug tho, after some runs I died but the menu didn't appear, so I had to force quit the game. Not sure how to replicate it, sorry.

Great job!

Quick Scrap by Vimlark 2021-04-30T10:09:55Z

High quality pixelart, fun game mechanic, satisfying sounds.

I personally would have liked a little bit more horizontal speed, but that wasn't really a problem.

Great entry, congrats!

6 Feet Under by theStoff 2021-05-03T21:43:17Z

Amazing game, extremely polished. You created a mechanic that's very satisfying to use and has a high skill ceiling. The art is nice too and the music is fun.

Simply excellent, one of the winners for me. Congrats!

Memory Dive by Kirbloid 2021-04-29T21:57:01Z

The pixelart is insanely amazing, the storytelling is good. The vibe in general is pretty cool, the music is simple but fits perfectly.

The gameplay is very confusing tho, I only understood what I had to do by reading the comments here. Even after reading, I didn't know how to figure out which memory should I sync with (For example, in the second level you have to "sync with a memory of her friends", so I synced when I read "It was good to see them again", but that wasn't it)

Some suggestions to make it more engaging: - Simple animations on the sprites, even if it's just 2-3 frames like the fire, will make the world feel much more alive. - Some visual and auditive feedback whenever you dash or get hit. - Put a little bit of work on the itch page (background, etc.). You can do this even after the deadline. With your art skills you can definitely craft something eye-catching, and I guarantee it makes a difference

You have something with a lot of potential here, keep up the good work :)

Deep Mole by hutchings90 2021-04-29T19:13:45Z

The mole with the sunglasses and with that voice are hilarious to me lol.

Even though it's very simple, I want to give a couple suggestions: - Having the cockroach be both food and damage based on the color is a bit confusing (I only found the gray ones are food by accident, as I was trying to avoid all of them). I think you should stick to worms for food and cockroach for obstacle. - The survival mode increasing and decreasing speed made it very easy. I think the speed should only increase, so it becomes more challenging as you progress.

Keep it up!

Billy's Massacre by DS Nahogara 2021-04-27T11:03:26Z

Huge props for doing a 3d game for a jam, I know how difficult that can be. I enjoyed this game, it scared my pants off lol. I got a few suggestions though:

- The exams take way too long to complete. You basically need to go back to the library every time, which makes it a bit tedious. Maybe if they were shorter but more scattered around the building it would work better. - The walls and some of the other materials were too bright, specially for a horror game. - It seemed to me that once the monster finds you, you can't escape (or at least it didn't seem like it)

Overall, very cool game

Through The Crust by sweer 2021-04-28T20:09:03Z

Challenging game, I like that there are 2 different highscores you can go for.

I think a nice addition would be to zoom out the camera when you accelerate, otherwise it's too hard to react on time.

Keep it up!

Muggy Lake by Bossus 2021-04-27T14:47:15Z

Cool game, you managed to build a very creepy atmosphere with the darkness and the fog. The gameplay was alright, I would suggest reversing the backwards control so it works more like a car. Also, I think some animations whenever you use an item would go a long way towards making it more engaging.

I loved the ending sequence with the monster chasing you at high speed. It scared me off lol.

By the way, I tried playing again with the konami code but I just couldn't move. Was that a bug?

There, Again by Honey Pony 2021-05-13T10:57:28Z

Great game, got pretty challenging near the end. Art is nice, music and sounds too. You really blew my mind with the bouncing on rocks mechanic. Wasn't a big fan of the "throw against the wall a bounce" though, it felt too precise, which made it very frustrating for me.

One small suggestion: the character movement felt a bit too floaty for a precision platformer, maybe make it a little tighter.

Awesome entry, keep up the good work!

Turn of the Tide by Polyethyleneglykol 2021-05-01T21:46:13Z

I won! Good pixelart, great music, and thank you for that speed up button lol.

Even though I completed it, I feel like I missed a big part of the game. I see people talking about AI allied units, but I don't really know how to access those or if I have any input on them. Maybe a dedicated help menu would have been helpful (it was probably my bad anyway).

It's a good game nevertheless, I can appreciate the hard work that went into this. Congrats!

BAD GAME 2 by waleed122 2021-04-27T13:30:03Z

This kind of low-effort games appeal to me for some reason. Definitely got a few chuckles out of me :)

Spelunking Simulator Pro 2022 by roryh 2021-04-26T15:14:26Z

I managed to complete it! I really enjoyed the early levels, they felt more *puzzly*, but towards the end there was a huge spike in difficulty that made it a little bit frustrating.

I enjoy a good challenge though!

Catlantis by fabula_rasa 2021-05-13T23:53:41Z

Lovely game! Cute art, satisfying sounds, relaxing music. Really enjoyed just exploring around eating some fishes. I wasn't sure what to do after finding my friend. Did I need to go back up or something else?

Great job, keep it up!

@fabula-rasa Totally missed it x) I'll definitely try again!

Submersive by deadmanjw 2021-04-28T23:38:31Z

Relaxing game, I like the idea of just enjoying the scenery and taking pictures.

I really don't have anything to add over what other people already suggested, so I'll just say that if you ever update it, let me know!

BUGGED by Mr.developer 2021-05-04T12:03:38Z

Cool concept, nice presentation. Fun, fast-paced gameplay. I see a lot of potential here, I can imagine infecting different people granting you different skills or weapons (but there's only so much time in a jam).

My only suggestion would be to have infected people die in 1 hit instead of 3. It feels like now it just slows down the game and doesn't really add anything.

Good game, congrats!

Cutting Edge by Notan Lemon 2021-05-09T10:55:45Z

Neat puzzle game, good concept and great execution. Every little mechanic is well introduced. I could see the puzzles becoming very convoluted if you decide to keep working on it.

Also, props for having level selection, it's something I've missed in many games.

Solid game, great job!

Archeo by zimny11 2021-05-06T20:12:46Z

Cool concept, it gets very satisfying as you unlock more workers. It got stale after a while though, as it became impossible for me to lose and I didn't see any win condition.

I could see this working as an incremental game, where at some point you can get your workers to do their job automatically (maybe even the artifact cleaning) and you just watch as they dig deeper, maybe upgrading their speed.

Good job, keep it up!

Space Oddities by Ben Yazi 2021-04-29T22:11:52Z

Fun, simple game, I enjoyed it from beginning to end. I can't believe my minions are cannibals.

Good job!

Deeply Organic by DoctorTM 2021-05-11T23:42:29Z

Cool game, funny story, nice art. It's amazing that you managed to fit 4 different genres in a jam. However, I believe it's better to focus on 1 mechanic and try to explore and polish it as much as possible.

Some suggestions: - In the first level, it would be nice if instead of teleporting the movement was continuous (also the guy seemed to be falling backwards). - In the second level, the guy seemed to be looking away from the camera, which was a bit weird. The collisions seemed a bit off too. - In the third level, having the enemies disappear when you hit them doesn't feel that good. Some particle effects could be good enough.

All in all, it's a great game for a first game jam. Keep working, I see a bright future ahead!

Into the Mind by Kanda 2021-04-28T14:42:40Z

Great game, I see a lot of potential here, so I'm going to try and give some extensive feedback.

Things I liked: - The character and enemy sprites - The level getting more messed up as you go "deeper" - The tight controls, great for fast paced platforming - The mystery, which got me intrigued enough to finish the game

Things I think can be improved: - The tileset needs a bit more detail for it to fit with the rest of the artstyle - Enemy placements seemed a bit unfair on the later levels, making the game a bit frustrating - Sometimes it's hard to determine what is an enemy and what isn't (the grass, some guys are enemies some aren't) - The grass was a bit hard to tell apart from the background at times.

Very enjoyable entry, congratulations!

slide! by chertkov 2021-04-27T10:44:01Z

Cool concept and music, this game really messed with my brain lol.

I like that each level introduces a small variation in the mechanics. I think the levels should be a little bit longer, or maybe there should be more levels, but I understand this was probably because of the time limit.

Fun game!

Untitled Simulator by Eugenik 2021-05-03T14:37:02Z

The name is brilliant, props for that. The concept is interesting, very creative interpretation of the theme. The atmosphere is alright, it fits with the historical nature of the game.

My only problem is that it got a bit slow, maybe having a button to skip to the next text would fix this. But I understand why it's the way it is now, it feels more like a conversation.

Very nice job, congrats!

Cookies Underground by Tom Kun 2021-04-29T01:02:42Z

It's a nice attempt at turning prop hunt into a real game, props for the originality! (no pun intended)

As a suggestion, I think increasing move speed a little bit would make it more fun.

Cool game!

Pescuit Pe Plajă by Trexxak 2021-05-01T23:53:45Z

I think I saw everything there is to see. It was cool getting to new environments and seeing all the random things you can fish.

Fun game!

DEEPER by eboatwright 2021-05-12T00:04:49Z

Cool game, gameplay is tight, sounds and art fit very well. I got a little bit addicted!

I see the potential to expand this further, like having moving platforms or enemies of some kind, powerups, etc.

Keep up the good work!

Into the Deep Web by Jon Topielski 2021-04-27T18:35:07Z

It was absolutely worthy! This game was fun from start to finish, easy to pick up, beautiful art and funny dialogues. It's just a shame that it has no audio.

Still, one of the best I've played so far this jam. Congratulations!

Blackout by Frasse 2021-05-06T17:40:02Z

Very nice game, art and music are amazing. The story was funny, wasn't expecting the twist at the end! The puzzles were good, made me think a little bit. I just got stuck looking for the lighter, but luckily you thought about that and put a clue inside the game :)

I think the only thing it's missing is a way to speed up dialogues.

Awesome experience!

Spellunker by Naamed 2021-04-27T19:02:50Z

I enjoyed this game, visually it's amazing and the gameplay is very fun. The story was alright, it got some chuckles out of me.

However, I didn't complete it. It drags on for way too long considering the levels are very similar to each other and you don't get any new skills later on.

As a suggestion, it would be nice if you could store the ingredients you get by going back to your base, so you don't lose them on your next run.

Good game!

Shaaark! by josemhv22 2021-04-26T21:56:08Z

That shark made me jump off my chair the first time lol

Needed a few tries to complete it, pretty challenging!

Mycelisation by bereg 2021-04-27T13:54:08Z

Visually amazing, great sound design aswell. I managed to complete it after a few tries.

The only flaw I see is that the "+1 AP" upgrade seems useless. Since the goal is to survive until the bar is filled, it seems counterproductive to move 2 times, as it can lead to your sprouts dying faster and therefore generating less water per turn.

Amazing game anyway, congrats!

Burst Vein by Caladrius 2021-04-30T21:52:53Z

This is such a good looking game. I enjoyed just walking around, exploring the mine even if I wasn't able to solve the second puzzle lol (the one where you have to rotate the card suits). I honestly think this would work as a walking simulator, with such good music and graphics.

My only suggestion would be to get rid of the stairs. When you are in a cave, you don't see stairs. You see natural ramps, and that little bit of realism would take your game to another level.

Great job nevertheless, congrats!

Scatter Gold by Sthealthinator 2021-04-29T00:03:38Z

Nice, simple platformer.

Small bug I found: clicking around the middle of the screen restarts the level.

Small suggestion: I don't think it's necessary to show the "You are x meters below sea level" every time you restart the level. It just slows down the game.

Keep up the good work!

Astral Descension by nyxkn 2021-05-11T14:59:11Z

Great concept. I got the best ending! The music and story really built that mysterious and dire atmosphere for me.

I just have 1 minor nitpick: I'd love to move with WASD instead of the arrow keys.

Keep up the good work!

Paperload - Deep Bass Edition by frokes 2021-05-18T17:34:51Z

Good game! Nice hand-drawn art. The gameplay picks up really fast, and it is very fun when you become overpowered. The ending was awesome and unexpected.

It's only missing some more sounds, like for digging, flying or getting a mineral.

Solid entry, great job! (Also, good job with the itch page!)

Penguin Run by Nurav 2021-05-08T23:36:31Z

Nice little platformer. I just have 1 thing to add over the other comments: The robots didn't seem like enemies to me, I only found it out by running into them lol.

Keep up the good work!

The Super Futuristic Shrinking Veterinarians by jogy34 2021-04-30T10:51:11Z

Fun platformer, nice interpretation of the theme.

The shooting was a bit off, but I enjoyed the game as a whole. Good job!

Deep Mind by JRevel 2021-05-02T14:17:27Z

Cool concept, I see a lot of potential. I liked how the "deeper" you go, the harder it is to get out. The music really added to that sense of dread.

It gets stale pretty quickly tho. I think with a bit more time this could have been something very interesting. Also, I went to work after getting fired and got fired again (probably a bug).

Very original entry, good job!

The Deep Underneath by creepyface 2021-04-28T13:59:35Z

Cool looking game, I liked the dark atmosphere and it kept me intrigued till the end. I also liked the detail of always shooting left no matter where you are facing, since the enemies only come that way.

My suggestion would be to add some skill expression through crouching or jumping for example (and making enemies that require you to do so), otherwise it becomes a game of just spamming the spacebar. But I understand that this requires a lot of time and 72 hours might not be enough.

Good job!

Third Party by Duckonaut 2021-05-04T14:06:52Z

Amazing graphics, cool mechanic, excellent mood. Needs a bit of polish tho, like sometimes bullets would go through the meat shield, or being able to walk while dead, but such small things are expected in a jam.

I didn't like the elevator ride in between levels, it took too long.

Good game overall, keep it up!

Dungeon Slide by DotSquare 2021-04-28T13:39:39Z

Really original concept, amazing level design to teach you all the little mechanics. Good pixelart, fitting sounds and music. I honestly fell in love with this game, I just wish it was longer!

Just a small bug I found: Sometimes when going to the next level, my character would make the first move on its own (nothing game breaking, as simply restarting the level fixed it).

Amazing job, congratulations!

Underneath by HumanIsRed 2021-05-10T18:13:42Z

Very cool game, great art and sound design. The mechanic feels good and is really well executed, having both the walls and the flip to slow you down.

Fantastic job!

ROOTS by TheGreenWorm 2021-04-28T20:02:45Z

Beautiful, relaxing game. Everything fits perfectly, the art, sounds, music and gameplay. Also, it feels very rewarding seeing your plant grow bigger as you progress.

As a suggestion, I think the grain effect isn't really adding anything to the experience (but I haven't seen the game without it, so what do I know lol)

Great job!

deepfeater by Shoc 2021-04-27T11:28:02Z

This game looks amazing but I believe it's broken. I pressed every button during the "fight" and nothing ever happened. Let me know if this is fixed (or if I did something wrong) so I can check it out!

Deeper Into The Forest by SnappyPath 2021-04-27T01:10:19Z

I wasn't expecting to see an on rails shooter at all! It was a nice surprise.

The scenery was beautiful, and it got me hooked from the beginning till the end. Also, killing the enemies was very satisfying.

However, I found there was too much walking and too little shooting. It would benefit from a lot more enemis. Also, I think these games work better if you have to aim with the mouse, but the simple controls were fine.

Cool game!

The Whole Game by NBumgardner 2021-05-06T18:34:43Z

Hey, I played your game for a while and got some feedback to give :)

- The letters in the menu were barely visible (this might be my bad, I'm colorblind) - Like many people pointed out, the drill speed is too slow. Speeding it up a bit would make it more fun. - You need to place a pivot on the center of the drill so the rotation works correctly. - I think this game would work better with hand crafted levels, as the randomly generated enemies can just spawn in non-dangerous positions - or on top of the player, happened to me in my last life :( - I didn't see any incentive in collecting the coins. Maybe having a highscore would be good enough, although it would be cool to have an upgrade system (but I understand there's only so much time in a jam)

Keep it up!

10,001 - A space exploration game by tengusheath 2021-04-26T12:03:20Z

This game really captures the vastness of space. Very good visuals and audio aswell. My biggest complaint is that the gun overheats too quickly and cools down too slowly.

Peace & Liberty by plo 2021-04-27T00:30:27Z

Very satisfying gameplay, I loved the recoil mechanic with the starting gun and the shooting sounds. Also, the amount of content you managed to include in such little time is amazing. I have a few suggestions: - I think the camera should move a little bit towards your aim - Some visual feedback whenever you hit an enemy - The spaceship in the middle of the level that takes you back to the hub should not be clickable (I clicked it on accident more times than I would like to admit)

Anyway, very fun game, congratulations!

LostBrother by MeritCoding 2021-05-06T18:14:57Z

Hey, since you asked for feedback, here goes mine :)

- Level design: I think you could go for levels where you have to explore a little bit more. As it is now, you just have to go to the right which is not very interesting. - Audio: Try to have one sound for every action in the game (shooting, jumping, dying, etc.) - Art: Start by having the character face the direction you are moving, and then add some kind of walking animation. - Gameplay: The pickaxe skill was cool, you could maybe expand it so you can mine in every direction.

Hope this helped, keep up the good work!

1000 Fathoms by Dom De Re 2021-05-01T11:30:13Z

I liked the small pixelart and the sound design. I think this game would work better as an endless survival, instead of needing to reach 1000 points.

Small bug, when Player 1 attacks, it changes to a different color.

Good game!

I'm So Deep by liammasters 2021-04-29T11:09:42Z

This is incredibly funny, I'm very bad at rhyming but I enjoyed it solely for the NPCs.

Thanks for the laughs!

Pirifurm DCleaner by emeraldboy44 2021-05-03T15:41:29Z

Fun game, creative interpretation of the theme. The graphics are simple but very crisp and nice to look at, the sounds and music are okay.

I think it could improve by making the player a bit faster (move speed and gravity).

Enjoyable entry, good job!

Tropical Singer by Kevin S 2021-04-26T15:20:40Z

The story was funny, and the graphics were good.

The levels felt really long though, I think the first ones specially should be shorter since they are very easy.

Good job!

Deep Space Janitor by kristof 2021-04-29T19:23:55Z

The simplicity of this game was endearing to me. You managed to make me care for the crew even though I never even got to see them. Sound design was on point aswell.

A little bit of atmospheric music would have been nice, but it was a good experience anyway. Good job!

Asterisk by Crychair 2021-05-07T20:44:37Z

This game is so charming, amazing pixelart, good music solid gameplay. Great voice acting aswell, it built up the world for me.

10/10 from me, congrats!

GOBLIN HAMBURGER LASER ARENA by youthfulIdealism 2021-05-11T11:34:30Z

Genius concept, great execution. I died in the last level, which was a bit frustrating, but I was hooked up enough to try again. And it was worth it, very funny ending!

One small suggestion: Maybe increase the rotation speed a little bit when you are shooting.

Very cool game, congrats!

Don't Pull It Out by Shin0nome 2021-04-28T11:40:39Z

Very original idea, great interpretation of the theme. I played a few runs and found a bug: if an enemy attacks you while you are stabbing yourself, you are instakilled (might be intended tho).

I've got to say that I found the controls a bit weird, the 3 "powers" (Dash, stab and powerup) are too far apart from each other on the keyboard. My suggestion would be to use Q, W, and E or Z, X and C, and keep movement on the arrow keys.

Good game!

Katavasi by variable_enigmatic 2021-05-09T08:39:35Z

I got a little bit addicted to this, managed to get to -10. Very challenging game! Visuals are cool, gameplay is satisfying.

I didn't like the fact that shooting decreases your "health". Seems like you are punished for shooting, which is the most satisfying aspect of the game in my opinion.

Congrats on your first ludum dare :) Keep it up!

The Final Journey by kernon 2021-04-27T00:41:04Z

The music and the darkness really build a cool and sad atmosphere. I think you managed to capture the "last journey" vibe you were going for.

Just to give some feedback, the submarine sprite seemed a bit crusty, many white pixels around the edges.

Congratulations on your first finished game!

Platforms Overlord by progdamn 2021-04-29T09:38:09Z

The idea is good, and it looks cool considering everything is a square. Good post-processing work!

I have some suggestions: - I think the challenge is good enough without the death or bouncy platforms. Those are nearly impossible to avoid and hitting one means you are dead, which makes it very frustrating. - Maybe a fixed camera (at least horizontally) would help, since sometimes with camera movement it's difficult to click some of the smaller platforms.

Overall it's a great game for your first jam. Keep it up!

Deep Dive by mharitsnf 2021-05-09T10:42:16Z

The concept is cool, but I got stuck in level 4 because I couldn't pick up the treasure (I think it had something to do with me dying twice at the same time by hitting the spikes with the character and the treasure).

What bothered me most was the choice of key to throw the treasure. In my keyboard, I have to press 2 keys (shift + colon) in order to get the semicolon. Usually you want to use a letter because it's more universal.

I agree with some of the other comments, I enjoyed more the puzzle parts than the precision parts. Still, it was fun while it lasted. Keep up the good work!

Unto the Eight by Threeli 2021-05-03T16:55:16Z

This was a really cool game, the mood was perfect and the world building was great.

The biggest problem for me was the light. Without light it becomes very frustrating, and I found almost no coldfire plants in my multiple tries.

Very original tho, it was a nice experience. Congrats!

The Adventures of John Drillman by Stanislav Angelov 2021-04-30T10:14:06Z

Simple, fun game. I liked the pixelart, and some of the obstacles made me laugh.

I think this game would work better with a vertical camera, so you have a little bit more of reaction time.

Still, funny game, good job!

Find The Page! by Rouge_dragon 2021-04-30T11:19:51Z

Such a funny interpretation of the theme. I could see this going viral, the "six degrees of wikipedia" is a somewhat known "concept".

One of the most original entries, congrats!

HELL deep is your love? by Villanelle 2021-05-18T17:47:16Z

Great game, very cool art and music. The movement is tight and responsive, which feels good for such a challenging game. I like how the levels are designed in account of the camera movement.

Personally, I would have liked it more if the camera view was a bit larger vertically so you can react a bit better to what's below, in addition to a higher camera speed.

Good job!

Baby Drill by aburron 2021-04-30T09:27:47Z

The graphics and sound design were amazing, I felt like I was in the mind of a baby playing with his toy.

I wanted to complete it to see the ending, but I couldn't. It becomes extremely hard when you are about halfway through. The ship overheats faster and faster everytime for some reason, so I had to cool it down nonstop. At some point I had to shoot and refill energy aswell, which made me lose. Maybe I've missed a mechanic?

Cool game overall, good job!

the truth in the darkness by ImZary 2021-04-29T09:11:54Z

Cool, atmospheric little platformer. I liked how sometimes you would know what to do by reading the narration.

I noticed that when you get the x4 powerup, you keep it until you pick up a different one, which made me try to avoid the x3 and x2. Perhaps you should limit the use to 1 time (and make them reappear), or simply remove the lower ones.

Keep it up!

Junk.E by kev_The_GameDev 2021-04-27T01:27:48Z

This game looks gorgeous, and the gameplay is so fluid.

My biggest complaint is that sometimes the camera would move on its own, which made my character move unpredictably

Really enjoyable experience.

Deep in the Well by TheNiceGuy 2021-05-01T18:12:36Z

Very simple game. I liked the random events, they aren't seen very often in this kind of game and they forced me to change my playstyle quite a bit, which was cool. I played a few rounds and always got to about 200 points, seems like there's a point at which you always lose no matter what.

My suggestion would be to make the camera vertical, so you have more time to react to obstacles, and then you can work on things like increasing the speed.

Keep it up!

Paragon by LakshyaIsAGod 2021-04-26T12:09:14Z

The concept is cool, I ended up wanting more levels. The controls are a bit too floaty for me though.

Very enjoyable nevertheless.

Fish for Meaning by Steve Johnstone 2021-04-28T20:19:04Z

Simple and relaxing, I liked how not only the submarine was going deeper, but also the questions. I turned on the music and I didn't think it was terrible, but it didn't fit the game at all.

A small suggestion, I think it would improve with a faster rotation speed.

Good job!

Super Deep Olympic Diver by Bruno Bombardi 2021-04-27T11:14:13Z

Beautiful pixelart, very funny game, I can't believe I went deeper than the Mariana trench. It plays really well too.

My only suggestion is that the dolphins should move a bit faster laterally, otherwise it's too hard to avoid obstacles with them, specially the deeper you go.

Great job!

The Deeper The Deadlier by EPU 2021-05-02T09:25:10Z

Simple game with nice visual effects. I liked how you get more and more powerful as you progress through the levels. I managed to reach the final boss, but I couldn't beat it.

A few suggestions: - It desperately needs a checkpoint system, or at least a level select. - I think it starts a bit too hard. Maybe a first level with just 1 box would have served as a nice tutorial. - You should not be able to push the weapons, otherwise it's possible to push them outside of the level, which means you can't do anything (happened to me more times than I'd like to admit lol)

Cool entry, haven't seen anything similar yet, so props for that!

The Deeper The Deadlier by EPU 2021-05-02T19:08:25Z

@fredripper2077 Yeah, I think having the option of enabling checkpoints is good. That way you can cater to the players that just want to reach the end (like me).

I see you talk about "Rage games". While I haven't played many of those, I believe they usually have some kind of checkpoint system or level selection. The problem with returning the player to the beginning is that they have to do all the easy stuff again and that's a pretty big turnoff.

Hope this helped, keep it up!

Gobs of the Deep by Tiseno 2021-05-01T12:03:56Z

Simple but effecive graphics, and very difficult! I think it needs to be a bit slower paced.

The sound when killing an enemy was too high pitched, it was somewhat irritating. Other than that, I enjoyed exploring the huge cave.

Cool game!

Space Mouse by Remn 2021-04-27T15:07:54Z

I got the cheese! The music was amazing, and the pixelart was great.

I think it suffers a bit in the gameplay. At first the meteorites seemed impossible to dodge, as they were too fast compared to the digging speed. Then I figured out I could simply hide below the rocks, which made it extremely easy.

My suggestions are: - Add an indicator to where the asteroid will fall so you have more time to react - Maybe make the rocks just slow down the asteroids instead of destroying them so it's more challenging - Make the powerups much more powerful so they are worth collecting (honestly they didn't seem to do anything at all)

Keep up the good work!

Ludu Hare and the Magical Carrot by Mighty Mufflon Games 2021-04-28T11:25:55Z

Fun, simple, good-looking platformer. Completed it on my first try!

I have one suggestion: I read the controls after completing the game (don't ask why), and I noticed there were 2 skills, kick and roll, that I never used. It would have been nice if the level design required you to use them.

Keep up the good work!

Blue Square and the Mystery Cave by asdehielo 2021-04-27T13:59:16Z

@jani-nykanen Thank you for the feedback!

Initially I didn't want to include camera movement because I wanted the players to use the balls for scouting ahead, but now that you mention it it's probably a good idea to at least let them move it right, left and upwards.

Blue Square and the Mystery Cave by asdehielo 2021-04-27T14:00:20Z

@kevin-s Thank you so much! Yeah, too little time, too many things to do!

Blue Square and the Mystery Cave by asdehielo 2021-04-27T14:02:06Z

@kernon Thank you! I honestly was afraid it wouldn't be clear enough, but seeing people figure it out makes me happy :)

Blue Square and the Mystery Cave by asdehielo 2021-04-27T14:03:18Z

@sweer This was my first time creating my own sounds, so this kind of feedback is greatly appreciated. Thank you very much!

Blue Square and the Mystery Cave by asdehielo 2021-04-27T14:16:29Z

@thegreenworm I definitely agree, the camera needed more work in general. Thank you for the feedback!

Blue Square and the Mystery Cave by asdehielo 2021-04-27T14:31:07Z

@tgb20 I'm assuming you are talking about the parts where you have to choose where to fall. My intention was that you would throw a ball to see if there are spikes below, but I guess I could have done a better job at communicating that. I'm just happy that you liked the game even despite that :)

You are totally right about the music. This was my first time creating music, so I was a bit lost in that matter.

Thank you so much for the feedback!

Blue Square and the Mystery Cave by asdehielo 2021-04-27T21:36:57Z

@trabasura Hey, just to clarify, the intention was for you to throw the balls down to see if the ground was safe - but that's on me for not communicating it better.

Thanks for the feedback!

Blue Square and the Mystery Cave by asdehielo 2021-04-27T21:41:17Z

@genpaku Glad you found that mechanic! There are a few secrets to find by doing that ;)

Blue Square and the Mystery Cave by asdehielo 2021-04-27T22:45:04Z

@fussenkuh Yep, the camera has been the biggest complaint so far, and I absolutely agree.

Thanks for the feedback!

Blue Square and the Mystery Cave by asdehielo 2021-04-28T15:49:55Z

@bytinggames Thank you for your thoughtful comment!

Theres is only 1 path to the bottom, but there is a small bifurcation that leads to a secret. It's hard to reach tho ;)

Blue Square and the Mystery Cave by asdehielo 2021-04-30T00:39:38Z

@metalfox-dioxymore Hey, I'm not mad at all at your comment. In fact, it makes me extremely happy! You are the first person I see that finds the secrets.

That in and of itself is an indicative of why I didn't use it as the main mechanic. This game has been played by thousands of people (it got wildly popular on newgrounds), and I've only seen a few mentions of people bouncing on the balls, and no mentions at all of people finding the secrets, until now.

When I found that mechanic, I knew for sure I had to do something with it, because it is indeed very fun. However, it was risky to design the level around it for obvious reasons: if you fail the jump, you gotta restart because you can't jump back up. You can then argue that I should have implemented a jump aswell, but then we would be talking about a completely different game. In the end, I settled for including some secrets just for myself and for the most passionate players. For better or worse, this was my decision.

But who knows? Maybe I could use this in a possible sequel. We'll see!

Again, very happy to read your comment. Thank you so much!

@zondarg Yep, I had some problems with the camera that I didn't figure out how to fix. The spikes that can't be seen was intentional tho, you were supposed to throw balls to see if it was safe - but it probably wasn't clear enough.

Thanks for the feedback!

@brusi That's what I was going for :)

I'm glad you liked it!

@youthfulidealism Never thought about it this way, but you are right: the fact that you can't go back up feels a bit off. Very interesting point of view!

I also see your point with the save points (no pun intended)

Thanks for the feedback!

@felo07 You are totally right, the camera was a bit problematic for me x)

Blue Square and the Mystery Cave by asdehielo 2021-05-18T19:03:05Z

@frokes The idea was to throw a ball down the pits first. If it bounces it's safe! I tried teaching that through the level design but it could definitely be more clear.

Also agree with your point of spamming the balls.

Thank you for the feedback!

Cool game, nice sprites (I'm a fan of the shop guy). I think with more mineral types and upgrades it could become a very addicting game.

One thing though, on my first run I didn't pick up the gnomes when leaving the level, so on the second level I could do nothing. I think you should either force the player to pick them up before leaving, or simply refill them on every new level.

Keep it up!

Marble Maze: Descent by Ohmikron 2021-04-28T11:14:07Z

I love games like this so I enjoyed it from beginning to end. I found a few bugs tho: - The next level button always returns you to level 1 for some reason - The music doesn't loop - In level 3, the zoom on the hole rotates the camera, but the tilting directions don't change, which makes it a bit confusing

And I also have some suggestions: - Rotate the camera so it becomes completely top-down view. That way, tilting forward won't block the view. - The quit button after completing a level shouldn't shut down the game but return you to the menu.

Nice game!

Hey, congratulations on publishing your first game!

I did a few runs, and there are many things to like here: - The randomly generated map makes every run feel a bit different - The fact that you can mine and attack from a distance makes it more bearable - The sounds fit very well

However, there are places were I believe it can be improved: - The music was very annoying for me, and I ended up muting it. I think this kind of games work better with more relaxed themes. - The snake enemy was too difficult to attack (I was never able to beat one). I'd suggest making it slower or increasing the hitbox. - The world feels empty. More enemies or even just simple decoration would improve the game greatly, although I suppose this was not feasible with such a short time limit.

Keep up the good work!

Down Under by anactualhuman 2021-05-04T14:33:47Z

Nice little short game. The main mechanic was nice.

I think you could have given some more pickaxes without breaking the puzzles, just to have a little margin of error.

Enjoyable game, good job!

Dungeon Painter by IanTheBee 2021-05-01T18:03:39Z

Cool concept, great execution. It was so satisfying to paint the whole level. The art was simple but effective. The music was a bit repetitive but the game isn't that long anyway.

Great entry, congrats!

The concept was nice! I liked how you used programming language as a mechanic.

It was too short tho, I was barely getting into it when it ended.

Keep up the good work!

The game looks really good and it's weirdly addicting.

It's very confusing tho, I have no idea what I'm supposed to do. The root growth seemed completely random.

I still enjoyed just exploring randomly and creating flowers. Good game!

Potato Pandemonium by SugarSugarSugar 2021-04-26T14:51:40Z

For some reason I got hooked up instantly to this game, and I couldn't stop until I killed the eggplant.

The controls were a bit rough, which made the platforming a bit frustrating. It got better when I unlocked flying. The bosses were the best part in my opinion.

Bob's Depth by phealsout 2021-04-27T00:13:33Z

The graphics were fun to look at and the 2 color mechanic was easy to understand.

However, I think the balancing needs some more work. The enemies take too long to kill from as soon as level 4, and sometimes the spiky enemy would appear right on top of me and send me back.

All in all, cool game!

"Deep" Thoughts by Sevit 2021-05-04T19:27:12Z

Cool concept, innovative interpretation of the theme. It's nice that people randomly buy your work, it adds a little bit of progression.

However, I think it needs way more card variety. It got stale pretty quickly.

Enjoyable little game, keep it up!

Defiled Reflection by BidentWorks 2021-05-03T12:12:16Z

Cool concept, beautiful art. I liked the early levels much more than the later ones. It became more like a skill game rather than a puzzle game, and it was a bit frustrating. Many times I found myself just waiting for the enemies to sync themselves so I could pass.

Since you asked for thoughts about the audio: I didn't really like it. I think you were going for a "scary" vibe, but the game looks so cartoonish and cute that it doesn't fit in my opinion. Still, I can appreciate the hard work that you put into it.

Good entry, keep it up!

Taaanks! by Squerf 2021-05-11T15:34:27Z

Cool game, plays well, art is nice. I like that the minimap shows the projectiles aswell.

My only complaint is that the sounds were a little bit noisy in my ear.

Just a solid little game, good job!

U Cave by RoueSoify 2021-04-29T00:18:16Z

Good game, the pixelart, layered background and illumination are on point. The music and overall isolation create a creepy atmosphere. I liked the three different mechanics, I think the shovel could have very interesting uses, but I guess you ran out of time.

My biggest problem with the game was the UI, the icons were too big and they were almost in the middle of the screen.

Good job!

Deep Breath by Saltysa 2021-05-01T22:07:46Z

Cool game. Nice graphics, interesting mechanic, good music, and you really made me feel scared for the character.

I had a problem with it tho: I never knew how "deep" should I be to overcome each obstacle. I feel like there wasn't really any indication, specially later on.

I managed to complete it anyway. Very enjoyable game!
