I like the battle system, I know I could pause it, but I like to live on the edge. I liked the characters, made me chuckle a bunch. Great job.

Very fun, I'd have loved it to be a bit longer to really get to feel the power of the upgrades piling up ! Really innovative combat system as well I really liked it
Yo this game is dope. Love the old Windows aesthetic, and the gameplay reminds me a bit of Dicey Dungeons. Love the mix of realtime/pause strategy mechanics. Great entry overall!
I love the visuals. I could see this game has potential as a really good deck-builder type game, but as of the moment it doesn't feel very interactive, the game kinda plays itself.
Really cool aesthetic! The gameplay was simplistic but fun and the attention to detail with the faux desktop etc was superb. I would've happily fought a couple more battles!
I really liked the Pokemon vibe of the UI, and the dice mechanic was fun; I'd play an expanded version of this game.
As dice games go that was fantastic! I really enjoyed playing this and was sad when it was over
Fun game! I liked the addition of a real time element to dice mechanics. Visually the game is great, with lots of attention to detail. I'd love to play an expanded version. The humour did fall a little flat for me, but that's always subjective.
Wow, that was really cool! I have a weakness for dice AND deckbuilding AND Pokemon, so this hit me just right :) It's also nice to see other projects in Godot.
The desktop theme was really interesting too. All in all this is a really good entry!
Really liked this game!! I loved the dice mechanic, alot of little decisions (should I buff heal dice, or buff an upcoming 2x attack dice to end the battle early etc). The pokemon naming convention and perspective really suited the style and humor you were going for.
While I was playing, I thought an interesting mechanic to add would be if you get multiple dice in a row of the same number, maybe a special attack happens if you can pull it off. That way you could buff a dice to make it the same or buff a different dice because you need the instant boost. I think it would add an extra layer onto what you have.
Loved the game! hoped you enjoyed the jam
pretty good! love the art style and theme. just needs some 90's EDM
Fantastic game, want more battle now !
First I thought it was like a Pokemon clone but with the dice mechanic you really created an innovate battle system, well done! The theme fits too, "Deep Web" was an interesting idea.
As I started to appreciate combat system flexibility, warmed up, hoped for the weird imageboards, forgotten tumblrs, myspace relics, personal webpages, the game ended just like that. I guess that's the only minus in this little gem of a compo. Thank you.
Nice one! I liked the gameplay and the graphics, it would have been cool if it had some audio
This is a really great idea, but I dare to say that this would be more interesting if we couldn't pause to use abilities.
such an attractive little game, had a lot of fun playing!! sick graphics, great idea and execution :)
Nice concept! The theme implementation is a little surface-level, but the dice-based combat mechanic is very unique! Love the graphics too. This has a ton of potential!
I really enjoyed this one. Well executed!
I liked your game. Short but nice. And I also love games related to computers/coding.
Very cool pokemon battle like, with lot of humour for the name of the character (inspirated by megaman), the different competences after each battle is a good idea. It's a bit repetitive after 5 fights but the idea of the dice is good ! Interesting !
It was absolutely worthy! This game was fun from start to finish, easy to pick up, beautiful art and funny dialogues. It's just a shame that it has no audio.
Still, one of the best I've played so far this jam. Congratulations!
Great game! I liked that you could get abilities after the end of each battle.
This was a really clever idea and a fun auto-battler! I wish there were slightly more things the player could besides bumping dice, but as is, it kept me engaged and the upgrades were really fun. I would love to see a longer version of this game. Really cool entry!
This was really fun! The dice added a nice flow to the game and the little powerups added nice engagement. Reminded me of my pokemon and megaman battle network childhood haha.
The dice mechanic and the upgrades make the combat interesting and really fun. Overall, a cool concept with good humor.
Really cute and charming game, I love the art, great job!
The game is perfect 10/10.
I had a great time, writing is fun, I like the graphics and battle system! Only comment: dragging action with a mouse is a bit annoying, clicking 2 times ( action then target ) would feel better on pc ?
It's a shame you didn't get the sound in, I almost managed to hear the beeps and boops of the servers. The idea and execution are great! Battles seemed a tad bit easy, though. Graphics and mood were top-notch. I'd totally play a full version of this.
Incredible! I would buy a full version without hesitation!
The dice mechanic and the whole battle system is great. It's a real pleasure to play.
I love all! the combat system, the idea itself, the graphics! I just think it would lack sounds
Fantastic compo submission - one of the best I've seen this jam. It's like Pokemon and Dicey Dungeons got put in a 48h gamejam blender
The use of the inspirations is pretty good! It's actually a great start for a bigger game, maybe? A really good idea and nice implementation
Another computer game! Dice mechanic is very interesting. Like Saerki mentioned sound would've been great
This game was amazing! I only wish there was more to explore. The mechanics reminded me of Dicey Dungeons, but it was incredibly polished for something done in 48 hours. Well done!
This was realy cool! Shame no audio but ive got pokemon battle music ingrained in me through years of exposure so all good. The art was awesome though and the shrinking bit at the begining really made me chuckle. great job!
Very fun to play, would love an extension on that game format - was a little disappointed, that it was over so soon! A full game would be great :)
Very nice game idea and graphics.
Cool idea, nice output. Kudos for doing this in compo!
Great mix of Dicey Dungeon and Pokemon elements as an auto-battler! I was definitely itching for more and was just getting excited for bumping the fire dice against Science Man thinking of what could lay dormant deeper into the web! I really loved the visual style of the characters too, it had a great cartoony charm!
Really great game mechanics and style
Good job on this entry! Really polished! I like the mix of Dicey Dungeons and Pokemon. Loved the initial sequence, gameplay felt good. Snappy interface. Overall a solid entry!
I liked a lot your game mechanics and general idea!
I wish there was more content, maybe a hard boss, since I beat the game without losing. The gameplay is so good that I completed the game a second time.
Thanks for bringing your game to my stream to play on Monday night! I really enjoyed it! If you'd like to watch it over again you can find the highlight at https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1005053860
Short, funny, could really use some chiptune soundtrack, but otherwise great compo!
This is great, love the retro windows feel. I def get an Earthbound/Undertale kinda vibe from the battles. Would have loved to hear some sounds or music, let me know if you ever in need of that tyoe of thing!
would love to see it fleshed out into a larger game
The combat system is quite interesting, as is the concept of the game itself. It's a fun way to learn about what's on the deep web. The graphics are nice and along with the CRT filter really sell the retro look. Funny as well. Nice job!
Not to repeat what everyone else has said, but the style and aesthetic take this game a step above the rest. Not to discount the combat system though, which is a really interesting take on the other turn-based battle games that this seems to take inspiration from. Would have loved to have some audio too, but for a compo game this is stellar!
Pretty cool games ^^# got enticed by dem pokémon aesthetics :P I gotta ask - were you influenced by random dice? My brother was crazy for that game for months at a time it's neat! A bit short - but neat! Well done fam :)
@strangeryann I haven't played Random Dice, sorry xD. This game was influenced by games I've enjoyed like Pokemon, Mother/EB, FTL, Slay the Spire, Autobattlers, Dicey Dungeons, and the lovely art of Splendidland.
I'm obsessed with the game's aesthetic and the interpretation of the theme. Well done!
@jon-topielski Love your references <3. Thank you for bringing me this moment of joy! (Too bad the start button is not clickable ;p)
Such a great idea, I love the game, but it was a bit short.
I wanted to play more, keep working on it, I think it has potential.
Such a great experience, good job.
Pressing the Start button is not working
That's pretty cool, I quite enjoyed it.
Combat moved a little fast at the beginning, was hard to tell what was going on, and I guess I forgot that I could pause =).
Visuals where great and the feel were spot-on.
Wow, this has a lot of potential I like the battle mechanics and the encounters, I did quite enjoy the anticlimactic ending! A bit of music and audio, and it would be perfect!
short, enjoyable and great interpretation :)
I thought this was a short but enjoyable game
The long short of it: There are to few video games about dice. Thank you for fighting for the good cause!
Really cool game, congrats!
If you have plans for a post jam version, I would suggest to apply the selected ability to the upcoming dice when you tap it (leaving the option to drag it for others strategies).
Fun game and cute idea. The combat system is very interesting. Good work !
Hello! Your game was played on stream ( https://www.twitch.tv/ursagames/videos ) on 5/03 (Day 2 of LDJAM streams).

Very nice game, audio would help a bit to get it to the next level of polish. other than that awesome! Can you play and rate my entry?
Cute game! I hadn't thought about the deep web when I saw the theme "deeper and deeper". great idea. Congratulations!
The presentation on this entry is excellent. The ideas for the encounters did a great job of sticking to the theme of the hidden or lost side of the web while also utilizing non-obvious choices. I look forward to the post-jam version!
Brilliant theme and art. When on fullscreen it really did feel like using the old OS which brought back many memories. Combat could be improved abit as it wasnt very engaging however for a gamejam this is great. Good Job :)
The graphics and UI of this is great! And the combat system is very fun and a nice twist to turn-based combat.
Audio would obviously do a lot to help the overall mood, and I could've done without the scanlines (or with "fancier" scanlines), but very nice entry overall!
Awesome game! Hope you continue working on this, the battle system has a lot of potencial
Really interesting mechanic going on with the dice rolls and the abilities available it would be cool if you started with the shuffle ability so there was some cool interesting player choice from the very beginning. Congrats on making such a good looking compo game!
Interesting and different entry which is always nice to see in these jams. Liked how you had a story flowing through the gameplay which added a deeper meaning to the game. The art style worked well and liked how the power ups made the dice more interactive each fight.
[Thanks for submitting your game to the stream!](https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1023830637?t=04h02m10s)
I loved just how packed with charm this little game was. I had to double-check to make sure this was a compo game, lol. It's pretty crazy how much you were able to crank out this weekned!
