LD37 — One room

VR Player Simulator by SoKette 2016-12-12T16:21:00

A very fun little game! I really enjoyed it, even though I need to git gud.

I Need A Sleep by AXaViaN 2016-12-13T16:54:00

Absolutely hilarious. After two tries of them not getting the message, I kept screaming until I saw red.

Captain Hyperspace by frosty 2016-12-13T04:59:00

I had a lot of fun with this game - interesting take on the theme. :)

Space Mail Room by StarshipTrooper0589 2016-12-13T15:43:00

I love games like Papers, Please and this is in a similar vein to that. An interesting concept, and I liked the humorous names and all of the Star Wars/Star Trek references.

Watchers by Roffe71 2016-12-13T15:41:00

A very neat concept and good execution given the time frame and it being your first Ludum Dare. :)

Shit Happens by vrojman 2016-12-13T22:58:00

This was a very interesting concept - unfortunately one of the men got stuck leaving the stall and I wasn't able to progress further in the game.

Having made my own game engine in C++ previously, I completely understand how fickle they can be, so don't be too hard on yourselves for the bugs. :)

Cursed King's Court by kraftkar 2016-12-13T23:15:00

It was really cool how the audio synced up with the day cycle! I really liked the graphics as well. :)

Game Jam Fail 01 by phil 2016-12-12T05:14:00

Hey, something is better than nothing. :)

The Failures Of Felix by QuinnandWin 2016-12-13T23:11:00

Wow, this art style was really cool! Mad props to the illustrators. :) The minigames were fun too!

Slime Box by KadaDev 2016-12-13T04:49:00

A really interesting concept for a puzzle game! I would play a full game of this.

Bruce, the escaping ant by pcmxms 2016-12-13T16:48:00

Very difficult, but in a good way. :) I liked the hand-drawn art style.

Trying to jump was a little weird if you were against a surface (I didn't have a lot of room to back up and move forward to jump again), but that wasn't a big deal at all.

Overall, very fun - I'd play a full game of this. :)

The Odd Inn by Gabriel Bucsan 2016-12-13T16:30:00

Really impressive given the time frame! I really liked the graphics, and the ambient noise was really good.

Might want to include a way to quit the game from within the game (I had to alt+f4 to close it), but that's my only gripe. :) Fun game!

Gombledeens Great Adventure by IonProgramming 2016-12-13T23:37:00

The music was so catchy and beautiful! I love text adventure games - I almost made one myself. :)

Also, I played it a second time just to see if I could start spamming 1 and 2 randomly and chance my way to the end of the game, and apparently the town was saved. :)

We are going to play this game. Cause its a really great game. by angela 2016-12-12T08:00:00

Loved Blue's Clues as a kid - hilarious game. Poor Mr. Salt.

The Chinese Room by Pierrec 2016-12-13T16:40:00

I found this game a bit confusing to play, but I think that's part of its charm. :)

I really liked the artstyle and still enjoyed the game even though I wasn't entirely certain what I was doing.

Little Town by Somfunambulist 2016-12-13T23:53:00

These graphics are super adorable! Love the art style. :)

I wouldn't mind playing a full, more fleshed-out version of this - has a bit of a 2D animal crossing vibe.

Sonder by Ludipe 2016-12-13T23:04:00

This concept is really interesting - I would actually play a full game of this. This was really cool.

Octopus's breakout by Bellatrion 2016-12-13T15:35:00

As others pointed out, touching the walls would often prevent me from moving until I moved away from them, but other than that this was a neat little puzzle game. :)

Santa Packaging, Inc. by Alistesios 2016-12-13T23:01:00

Unlike the others, I didn't have any issues with the controls - WSAD + E worked just fine for me.

Loved the Christmas theme - I didn't play the tutorial but the game itself was pretty intuitive so the tutorial wasn't needed. :)

The Archwizard's Room by uheartbeast 2016-12-13T04:43:00

This is a cute little game - very good given the time frame. Love the graphics.

Christmas Factory by fauche_j 2016-12-13T16:20:00

A very interesting concept! Drag and drop controls would have been a little more intuitive, but once I figured out that pressing the help button showed the keyboard keys I needed to press, it was easy to play. :)

Abducted by HUMANICS 2016-12-13T15:32:00

Even though I could tell the game had a dark theme, I was not expecting it when the first zombie appeared. I jumped so badly.

Operation : Cheese by Afendar 2016-12-13T16:50:00

Love the art style! The mouse is super adorable.

Also, it contains cheese, so 5/5.

Otaku Den by Tezra 2016-12-13T06:19:00

Great humor, love the art style. :)

The Shifting Room by Max Amaden 2016-12-13T23:08:00

I really liked the art-style, very impressive for 48 hours!

I got the bad ending, but I'm not sure what I did wrong haha.

LD48 — Deeper and deeper

Fear by NoobDude 2021-04-27T00:09:04Z

Character sprite looked great! Dialogue system looked very smooth as well, which is impressive given the allotted time (my dialogue systems are always a bit finnicky even after spending a week+ on them)

Super Drill Diver! by Cornflowerblue 2021-04-27T03:42:15Z

Absolutely love the art style. The gameplay makes me feel really nostaligic for oldschool platformers; I'd play a full game of this.

Ludum Dare 48: Deeper and Deeper by somnolentPumpkin 2021-04-26T23:40:55Z

@devparty We used [MagicaVoxel](https://ephtracy.github.io/) for the 3D models!

Ludum Dare 48: Deeper and Deeper by somnolentPumpkin 2021-04-27T16:29:19Z

@congusbongus Thanks for letting me know about the Mac build, I removed it for now until I can figure out why that's happening. :slight_frown:

Clowns Aren't Funny by NDHR Productions 2021-04-27T04:06:45Z

This game is, indeed, a clown-based game.

The squelching sound in the first map got old pretty quickly, but I really liked the speech bubble combat, and the water spraying in the next level.

Rip Deeper by Hozoku 2021-04-27T00:49:22Z

I gotta say: WOW. So polished for only three days. Loved your game from the moment I saw the sick camera transitions on the main menu, you guys nailed it on all fronts.

The gameplay itself took me a sec to figure out (was my own fault), but was fun once I got the hang of it.

Ludum Postal by jvolonte 2021-04-27T02:50:56Z

Really enjoyed this once I fully understood the color mechanic

Dwarf Inc. by Matthieu Riboulot 2021-04-27T01:11:37Z

When there's a beer shortage, the alert pops up repeatedly which makes it hard to buy more brewers

But overall, a cool idle game! Don't see a lot of those in game jams. Art looks great, and UI is intuitive.

The Icarus by PowerAnze 2021-04-26T23:59:54Z

Truly awesome concept; Just last week I thought it'd be cool to make a game where you navigate via a radar, and here you've accomplished it perfectly in just a few days!

I would play a full game of this.

Club U.G. by kr0s 2021-04-27T03:40:31Z

Loved the Stanley Parable reference

Why do we fall? by Cem Adiloglu 2021-04-27T06:31:54Z

I like the unique take on movement with the rope. The art kinda reminded me of Maple Story!

SeaSnap by Cral 2021-04-27T00:14:38Z

What a cute game! Always love games where you can take your own pictures, and the art style is very cute (will always have a soft spot for 2D graphics in 3D environments)

Would def play a full game of this.

To The Core by Paulsams 2021-04-30T08:09:27Z

Really fun game! The gameplay reminded me a lot of the Surf maps from back in counter-strike: source. But, like, if you also had a portal gun.

Congratulations, Debt! by Thinh 2021-04-27T06:30:53Z

Really fun concept! I liked the art on the merchandise.

The Dwarven Brigade by Wolfier 2021-04-27T00:58:35Z

Very cool, kinda reminds me of dwarf fortress

Into the Deep Web by Jon Topielski 2021-04-27T03:03:42Z

I really liked the Pokemon vibe of the UI, and the dice mechanic was fun; I'd play an expanded version of this game.

Descend by DevParty 2021-04-26T23:52:09Z

Really interesting gameplay! The movement reminds me of Toybox Escape from Neopets back in the day.

Overall I enjoyed it; the timed portion added a lot of suspense!

Who Killed Tim by fullmetal_automaton 2021-04-26T22:12:43Z

Always a fan of dialogue systems that don't freeze your character in place; was a really nice touch.

Also, the urban environment looks great given the time allotted!

Into the Forrest by frompdx 2021-04-27T00:39:46Z

Don't see a lot of RTSes in game jams. Not only did you try it, but you did really well at it!

And I know you mentioned the art came from an asset pack, but the assets you picked complement your game really well.

OVERDRILLED by everedx 2021-04-27T06:07:20Z

Wow! The sprites and animations look so polished. I'm not sure I fully understood the gameplay mechanics, but really impressive stuff!

Aquaphobia by Szenos 2021-04-27T00:23:45Z

Definitely fits the theme well! The game's humor has charm, and the tentacle caught me off guard.

Palette's Bottomless Backpack by CeltiCo 2021-04-27T03:50:34Z

Really funny idea! Every time I kept expecting it to run out of items, it just kept going.

Through the Anthill by nessie 2021-04-27T06:11:55Z

Gameplay loop is simple, yet fun! I liked the zoomed-out camera view in the corner, and the beans reminded me of Bertie Bott's Every-Flavored Beans
