I agree with some of the early comments of it being a bit too easy, but super fun and well made none the less!

The art and the sounds were absolutely amazing, and although the song stopped after "I'll suffocate ya" and just left him sitting bobbing his head, I was cracking up the entire time. Thanks for this
I just want to point out that I had the song stuck in my head so I had to go back and play it again :P
Love the sounds! I made it to the theme eventually, but I agree with what you've said about limiting the abilities. Great game though!
Absolutely hilarious game
man I love how much it actually mattered how you maneuvered the balloon to control your speed. like if you move a bit in one direction it bounces at a weird angle and makes you a bit slower. Really makes you concentrate. For a first time using Blender?? The graphics look great!
Love the idea, but I’m not sure it’s complete. It was a bit hard to figure out at first but you definitely have a start to something! Feel free to check out my game too!
@jan Thanks for playing! All of the bugs I could find (mentioned in the changelogs above) have been fixed, so there is now sound and working ships!
@bobgar The ship has now been fixed, so feel free to buy another!
@aaron-horrar Thank you for the feedback! Balancing was one of the main issues I knew I would have, so I obviously put it off until the last few hours. I hope to continue to update this and add some new features in the next few weeks, so working to make sure it is balanced will definitely be the main priority.
Love the physics and graphics. Also the music was very ambient and nice
Simple, extremely well done, and fun!
That was such a great game (but I've forgotten my high score!) I had a similar idea during my brainstorming session but even if I had done it that is an amazing way to do something like that. Fits with the theme perfectly!
This was an AMAZING game. The art, music, sounds, movement, and goal were all absolutely amazing. The web one was a bit slow at the beginning of new rounds and at the startup but other than that everything was very smooth and I loved it!
Wow that was a little harder than I was expecting. A blast for sure though!
Had a blast, although shoving that TV in there hurt me a little...the audio was a little messed up and kept repeating, but I honestly got used to it and didn't mind it :P
Amazing graphics. Hard to control on a keyboard, but i'm sure it's much better with a gamepad (which it seems like it was designed for, so I won't mark it down for that)
I'd love to see this game progress. Kind of like a slow-style version of tetris. I lost because of fuel so I definitely would love to see somewhere to refuel or something like that, but this is a great concept that mostly needs polishing.
That was great. Personally, I loved the death particles most (as dark as that might be)
It's a pretty fun game but the stars near the edges can have projectiles enter and be unnoticeable and hit you when you grab the star
Thank you everyone for the feedback! I really appreciate all of it. The obvious improvements are to balance it (I strongly agree), to add capacity every few waves, and to make sure sacrificing them is actually necessary. I am planning on going home tonight and hopefully adding all of that into a version 2.0!
v1.1 was just released! I fixed a couple of issues, balanced a couple of things, and added some of the suggestions. A graphics update (new animations, enemy types) will be coming later this month!
@papaver Yep, it's something I've been thinking about. I'm planning on doing a graphics update for Christmas, and I really want to add in some new feature that makes sacrifice necessary...not exactly sure what yet thou. Thanks for playing, though, and I'm glad you liked the :ice_cream:
I kinda wish it didn't have to be on controllers...but good overall!
This is such a great concept for a game. With more time, it could definitely be turned into something.
@squirmonkey @somnolentPumpkin @teenythanos @mega-marlon @owinmowe Thanks for the feedback! The audio effects were added in pretty last minute so no mixing was done. As a quick fix (since we want people to play the game past the first level) we've released a new version that resolves it and added a changelog for future players to know that we added it past the deadline.
@walrusesareawesome Thank you for the feedback! We had a lot of plans for this game and, to be honest, a lot more than we could handle in the time, so the ending unfortunately got cut short by the deadline and some fleshing out of some features (like the pixelation over time) had to get put on hold. We hope to resolve some of the issues with movement over time and we would really like to make some of the features we were never able to finish.
I haven't noticed the behavior with the water, perhaps it has to do with your mouse position? The direction you shoot is wherever your mouse cursor is on the screen, although that wasn't very clear in the instructions admittedly.
@greybeetle I'm glad you like the jokes mechanic! During some playtesting after the deadline we realized the issue with the death canyons vs the next level holes, so we'll be sure to make it clearer in future updates.
@hempuli I'm glad you liked the sound design! Due to the deadline, the ending was intended: that little sequence was thrown together in the last 10 minutes or so...we definitely want to refine that soon
That was pretty fun and I think it has a lot of potential. The air movement was a little too slow and I think you should die immediately when you hit the side (you can't get enough momentum to get back into the dropping part so you just keep dropping and losing hearts). Honestly the art and music was really awesome tho!
The art and sound was amazing! Overall, the only improvement I'd suggest is letting the player know how much a building upgrade would be, but besides that it's an amazing game. I absolutely loved the voice lines.
The graphics and audio are super duper satisfying and the game is kind of addicting. The movement is great
That was super duper calming. I could see that being expanded on a ton
