LD42 — Running out of space

Tricky Truck by Number6406 2018-08-18T18:45:39Z

A very neat game! And here are my tips for you: - your background tiles are not matching everytime; set the "Pixels Per Unit" on the sprite to the same as they are big (eg. 64x64px -> 64PPU) so they are exacly one unit large. Put your Camarafollow in the LateUpdate method (if you have some). And disable MSAA on your Camera - The truck ist bouncing a little bit back, switch to Continuos Collision Detection in the rigidbody if you want get rid of it - if your triggers are still not working sometimes, try to use OnTriggerStay to prevent this

Good luck^^

This Way Up by Virtual Window 2018-09-02T06:50:19Z

Overall a good game, but a (local) multiplyer option would be very fun.

The Grid Room by Sarrixx 2018-08-15T08:12:35Z

Well, I'm really confused. It took me a while until I figured out how to place the diamonds. Then every attempt I ran out of time after placing ~5 diamonds. This game has mabye a big potential but I don't know what do do.

You should make a gif/video/image on this side to help the players with the game :)

Junk Rover by Max S. 2018-08-14T10:51:32Z

@edgelord We are uploading a version for macOs and linux now, have fun :)

Junk Rover by Max S. 2018-08-14T21:09:14Z

Thanks to everyone who left a comment! A hard task was to optimize the game performence in the given time. The most resource consumption is the GPU, so if you have a lot of lag try to ajust the quality settings at the start.

Junk Rover by Max S. 2018-08-21T05:36:13Z

@chrissx2 thank you for your detailed comment! We want to continue working on this game, but let’s see if we really release a new version in the future. If so, there will be some more performance fixes and a GUI rework (maybe also rover animations + pathfinding fixes). Cheers!

Ant Factory by Pavel Smejkal 2018-08-14T18:02:15Z

Your game made a lot of fun, it's hard to balance which resources are needed (and that's good). But sometimes it feels like the ants not deliver items correctly and trash it. Unfortunately there are just three level, so it was a fast playthrough. Really nice work!

LD45 — Start with nothing

Time Shelter by Max S. 2019-10-08T14:53:38Z

@spiced-pigeon now there is also an itch.io side, where you can play directly in the browser :)

ReWorld by Firesplash Entertainment 2019-10-17T13:00:58Z

It's a nice game and I can give you some Unity advice for your player movement. First, as you noticed, the object collision is buggy. When you are using a rigidbody, you can set the collision detection from "Discrete" to "Continuous". This will cause to calculate a bit more physics, but for a character it's completely fine. Secondly the player moves a bit after the button is released. If this isn't intended, you can set this in the input settings of Unity. There you have for each axis the option to set a gravity and sensitivity value. Turn both up and the controls will be much more direct.

Nothing is Everything by Yayiest 2019-10-08T15:47:41Z

It was a really cool game! Level 3 was difficult to beat, the first time I forgot the right button to dash and the other times I could not get passed the three enemies. But all in all, a very nice to play and I love the artwork^^

PrintScript by walaber 2019-10-09T15:25:27Z

I love 3d printing, so this is quite funny^^

But I think you got two mistakes in your manual: where you explain the for-loop you wrote "for int 1 = 0, 10" instead of "for i = 0, 10" and in the next example you made a "." instead of an ",". Also, the scrolling bar is upside down. I understand that there is no autocompleting but only colouring the methods, if they are typed correctly, would make live a lot easier - maybe for a post jam version or so.

Besides of this, it's super cool!

LD47 — Stuck in a loop

Beyond Orbit by Zypo 2020-10-14T15:22:44Z

Wow, that was difficult. Not the gameplay itself, but one mistake and your whole run is over. I died three times with one planet left and two times with no planet left. The main concept wasn't so obvious in the beginning because I orbited the main planet and couldn't figure out why it wasn't destroyed. But after the second planet, I understood. Overall a cool entry!

TIME MACHINE by stuartrules 2020-10-26T16:56:38Z

A very cool game! You took a concept that is quite common used in this jam but with a completely different approach. The only thing I have to criticise is jumping. Especially in the last level where you have to make a precise one but it is just not possible to reproduce consistently without to stuck a side of the moving cube. Anyway, congrats to completing the game and having a tardis in it :D

LD48 — Deeper and deeper

Deeper Well by Feraligatr 2021-04-29T07:43:20Z

Very well done for such an amboutius project! I think the only missing was some kind of restrictions (e.g. distance to the well, how many farms are connected) so you can try to optimise the layout of your city. But I know it is hard to communicate such systems to the player and takes a lot of time to develop. So well done and for the well, well that's deep!

DangerCo by Salepate 2021-05-09T07:52:49Z

This was really fun! At first I don't get how to throw granades but after figuring it out it was super satisfing to blow up stuff and watch these unpredictible granades flying. No animals were harmed in the process, only a few miners :)

LD49 — Unstable

Connection Lost by mvasko2 2021-10-06T10:53:02Z

Nice game! It was just quiet frustrating that the van can turn quicker then you, which throws you out the flow

Tipsy Farm by Tyler Miller 2021-10-10T16:33:18Z

Got to 2185 but was running out of space instead of balance problems^^ Good work on the animals, but I think the perspective isn't optimal because the platform is so far away and you can't see where the animals would drop.

Unicycle Scientist: Saves the World by MrWhimble 2021-10-06T10:27:03Z

This was a lot of fun! Really liked the controls and the little boost you get after landing a jump

D.A.D Logistics ltd. by Xparker 2021-10-07T08:25:55Z

Cool game, only missing a bit of feedback and the reward of shipping a full ship. Never thought balancing a container ship would be funny :)

Bermuda Night Fever by Drat 2021-10-07T12:39:29Z

Everything felt right and the mini games where pretty intuitive, good job!

GR/ID by Spotted_Leaf 2021-10-07T12:50:53Z

It was hard to find out what to do exactly. At first I didn't understand that removing parts was desired because the light bulb had the same destroy animation. But after you figure the mechanic out it is fun!

LD53 — Delivery

To Infinibee And Beyond! by Prakkus 2023-05-19T22:06:24Z

That was fun, it felt impossible at first but once you got used to the flowers it felt really good. The camera felt a bit static but I like the artwork and the particles all around. Good work!

Train Sort by Max S. 2023-05-01T16:18:40Z

@snotax, @niclee thanks! Yes, more automation and an easier way to move multiple boxes was planned but didn't make so far. There are a few hours left until the Jam ends, maybe I can get something done until then
