Seem to be missing links :(

aret24 2018-08-13 06:01

Cool and very interesting game!!!

endurion 2018-08-13 06:02

Starts up nice, but when playing it feels unfinished. There were only grey thoughts at the start, newer ones didn't come in.

Also, the instructions mention score, but there's no score display at all. Once all thoughts are either dismissed or digested, the game doesn't seem to end.

xinmone 2018-08-13 06:02

In my first 2 tries, none of the blocks went through :/ Just got stuck and piled up.

memel06 2018-08-13 09:20

Nice idea, very theme fitting. Graphics needs surely a polish and a tweak. Gameplay is fluid and there is no technical bugs. Nice entry overall! Please, work on it on a post jam version. Have a nice day!

vivek-sharma20 2018-08-13 09:52

Concept is good but gameplay is a lil easy. Better graphics can definitely improve the game play. Oh and try putting out a browser version. Will make it easy for people to play and rate :).

liven 2018-08-14 04:26

I love weird concepts but hate read tiny texts. So I clicked all reds....

the-shadermaster 2018-08-14 22:15

Concept of this one is great, but gameplay is lacking at the moment. Like people said before, grey thoughts only came in, in the beginning?

monkosum 2018-08-14 22:15

i like the idea, but the execution is not very good. the music-track is only 2 seconds and you can easily hear it cut off, there are still white pixels at the border of the black sprite and the thoughts get always stuck. but if you somehow prevent the thoughs from getting stuck, work on the audio and visuals, and polish it a bit, this could be a really good game. if you are planning to make a post jam update/version, then keep those things in mind

Very nice concept)

chaitae 2018-08-16 00:14

Good idea, but none of my blocks fell through.

bigbosserndog 2018-08-16 00:19

Hi, you should probably put the link for your game in the Downloads and Links section for future reference :) I'm going to honest, not really sure what is supposed to be happening. No grey blocks are appearing (which the text says you're supposed to click), and eventually everything get stuck so it overflows anyway. Hopefully your next ldjam goes better :)

mza 2018-08-16 00:23

Interesting concept. Maybe a menu with the instructions will ease the player into the game. I've also noticed that there wasn't many grey thoughts. But I do like where you going with the idea.

ndhr-productions 2018-08-16 00:28

Love the idea, but I’m not sure it’s complete. It was a bit hard to figure out at first but you definitely have a start to something! Feel free to check out my game too!

jared-york 2018-08-16 00:29

I like the concept behind the game. I can't seem to get any of my green shapes to fall through. Also, where is the score? I think the idea is very creative and I think it could really be a very innovative game after some polish. Keep it up! :)

lavinski 2018-08-16 00:29

For your first game ever, i can say that you did a decent job. The game is as many others pointed out quite unfinished. But every time you make something you will learn, i can promise that in a year or so your game-making-skills will have reached high levels and you will look back at this and be proud that you took your first steps :) Keep on working!

sauski 2018-08-16 00:33

Nice use of the theme, it's exactly how my head feels during the last stages of a game jam :P

eric-schmiel 2018-08-16 00:34

Interesting idea but unfortunately almost none of the blocks could get through :(. Also I had no idea what my score was and when I ran out of blocks the game never really ended :(. I was so torn about intentionally killing my green and red blocks to try and shift the pile :weary:

Echo @lavinski in all aspects. Keep going and you will get much much better. I legitimately like the concept a lot, it is certainly more creative than most of the submissions I have seen so far. I would love for the space in between the bumper and the right side if his neck to be a little bigger - or maybe the bumper to be a little bit smaller, but overall great game!

haley 2018-08-16 01:30

Wow look, we got the same idea! Thoughts in our head!!

akusan 2018-08-16 01:47

Good job on your 1st game on Ludum Dare.

You have a pretty innovative and good use of theme here. Unfortunately I had the same issues with other players where thoughts get stuck - which is okay because we can just delete them. But unfortunately there is no end to the game. I thought the score was going to show up later.

All in all great job on your 1st game! You might get addicted to Ludum Dare like I did. Started with LD39 now i participated in every LD since then. Nice work on publishing your game. Some didn't get to publish so you you're one step ahead!

Hey. This was among first game I spotted in feed days ago and wanted to play it but it took some time to get there. I love the innovative approach and graphics style, definitely goes somewhere, in current state it is very unfinished though, I quickly run out of negative thoughts to click on and they stop falling down completely so I have to erase a lot of good ones, all thoughts end up swallowed and there is no score in the end, but I guess you know all that, but good job, with some tweaking it could be fun.

shakedimus 2018-08-22 20:37

It's a fun game and the music and graphics gave it a good atmosphere but it was a bit too easy and I don't know if this is a bug but I had 6 gray shapes in the beginning but after that no more.

loyance 2018-08-31 18:11

This definitely needs some polishing, but I can see how fitting it is to the theme. I mostly have the same problems with design that people pointed out already, but by giving it some more work you can improve it!
