I really love this game. I had a blast and it was fun. The beat movement and attack didn't limit the game at all which was pretty impressive. The minimal art was crips and the music was engaging. Thanks for making an awesome game!
That was a pretty cool game. The music is good and i like the extra polish of how it slows down when battery is going down. It kinda gets annoying the way it sounds when you're stuck in slow down music though. That's nice how you have little mini games within the game. good job and thanks for sharing!
I am not really sure why you have spinning letters but you have interesting concept there. Keeping fire alive definitely fits the theme. Good job.
It's a good concept. Keeping the city alive by distributing water. I am not sure if I am playing it right though.
I think I get the concept - you protect yourself and the guy on the bottom by shooting spheres on the capsules. You have really good cover art, great job. The jump is kinda weird.

This is great! The sound effects and the music are good. The animations are well done. The graphics look good too. Although the controls is a bit of a problem if one is playing on a Surface Pro - no middle mouse click! Other than that, it was a fun game. Thanks for sharing! I like how you can go out of the tower and use the tower as well
It's lacking some music but I like the take on the theme where you can manipulate stuff and pick up enemies. It was hard to pick up stuff and enemies but it is fun when it works. The art is pretty cool too. The blend of 2d with 3D environments physics look good together. Nice level design also where player can tell what to do to defeat enemies. Thanks for sharing!
It's a rhythm based exercise game! It's cool you added some dialogue and story to set the mood. The mechanics work well too like a rhythm game. The music is kinda weird for a rhythm game. probably need more beats and percussion to the music. Thanks for sharing!

Great submission and great job on your 1st ever compo. This was a really fun game. Great job on the level scaling from really easy to challenging especially for a puzzle game. Probably need a better sound track that's a bit longer especially when looping especially if people listen to it for a long time lol. But it was really creative how you build your own levels. So far the best game I have played for this jam! The gameplay is fun ingenious. The design is pretty good with difficulty scale not bad at all. It's a puzzle game but not stressful and very satisfying. The animations and art fit well. Music fits very well too. great job! Thanks for sharing.
Pretty cool game you got there. That was a really cool take on the theme where you build the level from nothing as you go. The music seems a bit weird at times though, but it does create the right atmosphere. Nice low poly art, very magical. Great job !

One of the best looking games during this jam and sounds really nice too. The aesthetic is really nice, really sets a good mood and the music sounds perfect. Gotta limit where the submarine goes though because for a while, i thought the game was broken then i realized i moved outside of the screen lol

Funny how you achieved a successful life is having a gamer chair and dual monitor gaming PC. I like how you start out as convict then evolve to different stages of career. Would be nice to some change in game mechanics after each level up though.

This game is great! I really love the concept and it makes sense - sacrifice your life to save the president. Kind of morbid, but amusing, fun, and fits the theme perfectly. The art and minimalistic animation is cute and fun too. The music also adds to the mood. Lacking some sound effects but it is not really that bothersome.

The concept was really cool. I was so surprised that after the 1st phase, there was a platformer afterwards. Pretty cool! The art style was really cute too. Personally I think if you just focus on the fun part and add more features to that and make it more fun, you could cut the generic platformer section.

Great idea! Only geniuses would think of an idea where you sacrifice health to shoot. Also we have the same idea or concept lol! Great minds think alike. It makes the gameplay more strategic and players become even more careful when shooting. If only the enemies were not just cubes though, they look so much like the ground lol

Very nice game you got here. I like how you even matched the font on the theme of your game. The art is very colorful and cute too. I really like the style. It's cool, and the animations look smooth. Great sound effects and ambience. You really hit the mood there. Although I would recommend changing up the gameplay a bit so that player is not pressing right arrow all the time even if it is an obvious game over or fail. Maybe have some hints during the game to pick up your dropped items. Also shorten the duration. It got kinda boring just keeping pressing right all the time. Thanks for sharing your game!

Very cute game and i really like the aesthetics and physics of the game. When I got the gun, I couldn't open the fences of the little frogs. Was that intentional? But looks like was able to save frogs in the end because it showed a total of 18 frogs saved.

Great game man! I was impressed on the number of type of enemies you have on your game. The game feels really well polished. There are multiple weapons, a shop feature, and a lot of sprites. This game looks really good. It's impressive that you added procedural generation into it. The interface is pretty cool too. But I really don't get what is going on. Maybe if there were some tool tips giving hints on what to do next or showing that you made progress. Does M500 mean warping to another solar system? Also is there no sounds? I think some good music and sound effects would be good for this game.

Great job on your Ludum Dare Entry especially for a compo. Pretty easy concept and interesting use of theme there with the crushing walls. Good job on making the full package even with tutorial. There was one part that made me laugh when I reached the castle and then fall because I moved too much. The aesthetics of your game looks really good too. Very nice consistent style. You have a pretty innovative and good use of theme here. Unfortunately I had the same issues with other players where thoughts get stuck - which is okay because we can just delete them. But unfortunately there is no end to the game. I thought the score was going to show up later.
All in all great job on your 1st game! You might get addicted to Ludum Dare like I did. Started with LD39 now i participated in every LD since then. Nice work on publishing your game. Some didn't get to publish so you you're one step ahead!

I like the idea and it fits well with theme - more you have, worse it is. But I really don't like how it was hard and frustrating to eat sausages. I think it's best to give better control and more clever puzzles instead of making it hard to control. But the aesthetics are great! The music and sound effects fit really well. Very interesting experience you have here. The wavy thing gets annoying though. The visual art looks amazing but I think there need to be better cues on which things you can interact with because it was annoying clicking on everything and the screen getting wavy. The gameplay is alright, kind of repetitive and easy without any variation. But the art and visual style is great! The overall package with the menu screen, credits, music, art, effects, animations, feels like a complete game. Everything is great but the gameplay may need some refining. This is such a great game, I wish there was controller support and I would be playing this for hours! The gameplay is very easy and compelling. The challenge is really well balanced. The concept is also great. Being crushed or missing a beat doesn't feel too punishing, it is reasonable. The risk reward system of stacking high to get more points vs missing the stack is very clever game design. This is one of the best games I have played in LD 40. Great job!
I would love to play this game on the phone/tablet! Imagine being able to touch cars to stop them or making em go. It feels okay with mouse. The idea is fun and great, good feeling. But it can get repetitive. But a really solid entry with nice visuals. The music is alright but can get a bit annoying later on though. Overall, it's one of the best entries in LD. Good job!

Those intro art and that chick looks great. But the controls are too hard for me. It feels terrible. Not sure where you got the idea for the controls. It would be a great game if it had controller support. But other than the issue with the controls, I like how the game has a lot of elements of a great 2D platformer - melee attacks, double jump, dash, different enemy types, interactible environments, creative platforming puzzles. Great job! The art would be nice if it was bigger though.
Interesting game you have. I got to level 7 where I instantly died! Nice art on your game, pixel art looks great! Also that's cool you have a lot of dialogue, but sometimes it's a bit too much. It feels a bit repetitive up to 7, not sure if the mechanic changes later in the game. Great job implementing a lot of stuff and making the look really polished.

Really impressive looking polished game. I had the same idea at first too but instead we opted for a different idea. Good job also in adding a lot of features in the game including upgrades. The camera might need a bit of tweaking though, it looks a bit off and hard to see the far areas.
