That's a good idea you have here! However, I don't have as many creatures as you have in the trailer (by the way, it's awesome that you had time to do one), are they supposed to naturally come during a playthrough?

bram-ve 2017-12-05 20:34

@kegnarok They are waiting for you later down the line, we thought it would be good to first let the player get a feel of how to control the ai, and then give them loads of animals to herd.

Tho indeed we might have better added that earlier in the level since having a lot of animals in your herd makes the game shine :)

guilhermesouza 2017-12-05 20:44

amazing!

Great concept, with nice art and SFX. I think it might be better if you accumulated creatures more frequently, to emphasize the challenge of herding a larger group.

bram-ve 2017-12-05 20:48

I uploaded a balance patch in which more creatures come earlier and increased the speed of the creatures in the later stages of the game. It should fix the boring start and no challenge in the end game :)

Very cool game! The world looks beautiful and the creatures have fun animations. The music also adds to the great mood for this game. I liked that you were picking up more members of the herd as you go along, only in my case I had quite a few casualties along the way :) so my group stayed small. Controls where a bit challenging at first but got easier after playing for a while.

Really liked the mood and the colours in this game. The gameplay is really nice as well. Very chill and amazing (y)

mateusculpo 2017-12-05 21:13

Brilliant, seriously I spent a lot of time playing. I hope you can conclude with more difficulties, characters and challenges.

z4zion 2017-12-05 21:51

Man the game was great!!!

blarfnip 2017-12-05 22:25

The game fits perfectly with the theme. As I got more and more in my herd, it became harder and harder to handle. Awesome job!

akusan 2017-12-05 22:27

Amazing nusic you have, it's very relaxing. The game play and innovation is great too. Very well use of the theme. Great job!

simone 2017-12-05 22:28

Really cool :)

jamioflan 2017-12-05 22:35

This game looks awesome, and plays awesome... until the camera decides to lock on to a handful of animals way back from your group of 20-odd that are now inevitably rolling to their deaths. Perhaps it would be best to lock on to the furthest forward group, rather than the largest, or whatever else is making the camera jump back from the leaders?

Their movements are so cute! Great environment as well. Keep it up!

drnoir 2017-12-05 22:45

One of my faves so far, got me in touch with that nostalgic part of myself and it's a good concept too, will play again.

timesprinkler 2017-12-05 23:01

@drnoir Thanks! I'm really glad you enjoyed it. I know I'll definitely be playing it more.

drnoir 2017-12-05 23:02

I have done a initial react / video review - posting up on YouTube now

gaming-night 2017-12-05 23:12

I'm not sure if your game really fits to the theme but I really enjoyed playing it :) Well done guys !!!

drnoir 2017-12-05 23:13

mowztouch 2017-12-05 23:19

Good One! Nice Graphics, intuitive gameplay, good music. Very well done!

kirk-markarian 2017-12-05 23:53

@dmoir - man, thanks a TON for the wonderful video review! I'm glad somebody else was able to recall the Lemmings game (sure are making me feel my age here) :D It was a blast making this game and we're glad you had fun playing it.

nardandas 2017-12-06 01:16

Fun little game! I found it kinda annoying the way it jumped to another pack when yours died or something, so I didn't push too much past that. I also noticed when I just had one little guy, it was hard to get new guys to follow you.

timesprinkler 2017-12-06 01:58

@nardandas Glad you enjoyed it! Those are great points that we would definitely look into some design solutions for if we take this game any further

jeffchen 2017-12-06 06:37

Graphics and musics are impressive!

taldius 2017-12-06 13:01

Nice game with a chill vibe. However I didn't see if there was an ending.

Anyway, good job!

poundthegroundstudios 2017-12-07 00:00

Very odd controlls

poundthegroundstudios 2017-12-07 00:01

good job thought love the graphics

joel-davis 2017-12-07 05:41

Really neat. I wish you could draw line instead of block, but overall the creature's movement was very well done and felt controllable and manageable. I liked the stylish graphics and the sound and music was great, especially the little animal squeaks. Nice!

tom-panton 2017-12-19 22:12

Ace game! Well done on making such good audio and graphics in such a short space of time :) I found the game a little confusing at first, though; perhaps there could have been a tutorial to teach new players what to do. However, I really enjoyed the game once I started to understand it. Great job!
