Fun game, the waiting for other worlds on checkpoints is really useful.
It's a fun idea but the collision detection could use a bit of extra love, now it's rather frustrating bouncing the yellow sticks against everything :)

Quite a fun idea, was fun to play.
It is a bit odd that the enemies have to face away from you to be stunned by your smile.
The concept is indeed quite interesting, maybe make it only possible to move by shooting (not with up arrow).
Considering the time spent I think it looks very good.
I would suggest to skip the first level, there is not really anything to do there now.
I like the double negative or double positive effects, makes it more interesting than just plain RPS.
Just driving around peacefully when suddenly, there are three green cars and a tree on top of me :D
Fun game, controls could use some tweaking
Amazing graphics, good music, interesting mechanic.
What I liked less was the gameplay, needing to jump up the stairs, not making the jump without first having forward momentum. Also, the mouse sensitivity is quite high, which makes it difficult to aim. Finally, in the sky cities, it is a bit vague where you need to go.
Having said that, it is a great idea and good execution. Well done.
Genius concept, catching my breath now.
Maybe it would be cool if the targets were aligned such that you are whistling a song. Or maybe they already are but I'm just a terrible whistler :D

It's a cool entry.
The map is quite large and the only reason to walk around is because you run out of ammo, of which there are not very many packs. This makes it feel like the world is too large.

Fun game, quite hard to dodge those envelopes. The keyboard controls didn't really help with that, why not `W' to jump.

Good game guys, great graphics.
However hints help, now you are walking around a bit aimlessly. I could only beat the boss to win a head.

Pretty fun to throw random stuff at the enemies but could use some more polishing.
For example, I think it would be nice to see how `charged' your shot is such that you can aim a bit better.

Fun puzzle game, I like how the concept is introduced with only two options and then in the last levels you can rotate in four ways.
I also like that you can stand on the side of the spikes.

Well done, nice game. I like the funny little cars. Handling of the truck was a bit difficult but doable. I didn't get to the end in time and after a few attempts I got in a loop where I was fired immediately after restarting (after changing the difficulty settings).

My tactics were to just take out a bunch of loans at a lowish interest rate and then pay of the bills. But in the end, I was buried under a pile of them.

Very cool game! The world looks beautiful and the creatures have fun animations. The music also adds to the great mood for this game. I liked that you were picking up more members of the herd as you go along, only in my case I had quite a few casualties along the way :) so my group stayed small. Controls where a bit challenging at first but got easier after playing for a while.
A funny idea and neat graphics, I like the cartoon-ish character style. Gameplay could be tweaked a bit, I felt I was bashing mouse1 and spacebar just all the time. Maybe a slower build-up, so losing less energy in the beginning would be nice, or shoot in bursts of more than one bullet.
Well done, fun game. I thought I lost when I ended up in jail, but luckily there was my lawyer and everything was ok.
Impressive work for only a few hours on sunday and monday! I didn't really get the connection with the theme but it was still nice. On the second hole, I managed to shoot the ball off the course and it just fell down forever. It did reset when I did the same thing on hole 3, but then the put hole was gone.
I love the graphics of the robot, it's a lovely puzzle game. Maybe I was playing too well :P but I didn't notice anything of the "worse AI." Nevertheless, the game as it is now is already a lot of fun. I hope you extend it with more levels, but I'm already impressed with the amount of content for 1 jam.
Nice original idea. I would have liked a possibility to undo an action. It is now pretty hard to aim a person in the queue. What could also be nice is a small pointer that shows where it will end up when you collide now (if that makes sense). I played the web version, small note: sometimes it seemed like a player was selected that was outside the screen.
Oddly relaxing game. I liked that the words followed the same flight path as the knives, that was a nice indication of how much time you have left. I didn't mind killing chuckles in the end :D '52 knives' marks his gravestone.
It's a well polished resulting game. The maximum of bullets is well balanced, to avoid complete mayhem. Graphics are nice and clean. Would be great to be able to play online against others.
I think you used the game jam exactly for what it is good at: try a game mechanic and see if it works. The mechanics of this game are promising. I hope the positive responses motivate you to develop it further :)
Impressive work. Nice graphics and animations and cool gameplay with generated levels. UFO's are especially hard to beat when they attack you from above. It's quite easy to get stuck in a puddle and just die. I get that with the UFO's it doesn't really make sense to have health or multiple lives. Maybe it would be nice to get the choice to start a new level or to try the same level again (and keep your collected documents). I also didn't really get the connection with the theme.
The highest score I managed was 4/10 documents, but I rate this game much higher :)
Just made it with 10 seconds to go and in the end I wanted to kill them all, 10/10 for realism. It was so frustrating to get the popups over your own typing assignments and even worse to get them over the "help" sums. But I guess that was the point :P.
Beautiful, mood is very relaxing :), graphics of the character reminded me of Limbo. I love the background, sort of a sad starry night. I also really like that you pick up the words and they then appear in the letter. Gameplay was a bit odd at times, jumps didn't always seem to register and some high letters seemed unreachable. But it doesn't really hurt the enjoyment of this game, since it is more about the story anyway. Great game.
I liked the graphics, the 2D characters are very funny and work for this game. It could maybe use a few tweaks to make it easier to understand how to play. For example, how do I get rid of coal? or can't I? Also, I found myself quickly surrounded by snowmen (terrifying btw :D) so I was just bashing mouse1 while walking backwards until I died. Maybe could be a bit easier in the beginning to give the player some time to learn how to play.
But in conclusion: nicely done, fun little game.

In the beginning you think it will be easy. Then all the balls come and they bounce against eachother and you can't clear them in time and 890 points. Funny game.
'Only' 63 deaths :) I think most of them were due to me dying and then immediately spawning and jumping, because I was already going to jump. Some levels seemed impossible to get right in one go, because you had to jump immediately. Anyway, nice work.
Nice idea! It is now quite hard to predict how far the ufo will travel for each card, making it a bit too challenging (farthest I got was until the moving asteroid). Maybe it would be cool to have a ' joker' card that would allow you to shoot asteroids?

Well polished game! I like how the alien worlds feel and the look of the enemies. It's a bit difficult to dodge when they start aiming at you, but we were warned that it wouldn't be easy :) I also like that the batteries give your gun some upgrades.
It's a really neat idea and a good execution. Maybe it could be a bit more 'forgiving' when you don't exactly click on a block. But I guess that gives trouble when two blocks are close together. I enjoyed the music, it fits the mood well. I also liked the death animation.

The balance between the two is really good, which keeps the game playable despite the multitasking. Although I found it quite awkward to play with qwer controls, but there has to be some challenge :)

Adorable character design and shooting mechanic. It would be interesting to maybe mix the genres a bit more somehow, now it's indeed more sequential. Still, nice work in only 2 days!
I like that the ball slows down when you have to type. But do you ever lose or win? I miss-typed and lost the ball quite often but the game kept on going. I also think the game could be improved by allowing to steer the ball more, for example that it bounces to the left when it lands on the left side of the paddle. But the music gave the game a great mood.

I think that unfortunately, this game proofs that these two genres are incompatible :D Perhaps some polishing of the commands could make it a bit easier to play because now you have to play with the manual next to you.
It's a fun little game. Maybe it would be fun to balance the two parts a bit more, now you only die from failing the jumps but maybe you could also die from not killing the terrorists. But anyway that's just an idea for extending it, it's already quite fun considering the short development time.
Really impressive work, your theme combination works out great! I also really like the steering wheel menu and that you basically already learn the controls in the menu. Maybe it would make more sense to place the car a bit lower on the screen? But that's details, fantastic effort!

I really like the idea of the game. One thing that I think could be improved is the portal system, it would be nice if you could use a portal when you stand on top of the text, instead of inside it. That is especially useful in cases where the portal is on the bottom line, such as in the apple tree scene.

I'm not really sure what the theme relevance is, but the game does look and sounds great. I love how the character perfectly depicts a monday morning feeling. I was playing full-screen so the ending scared me for a second :D
