Nice job on the game like some of the others here I couldn't figure out how to trade and move goods so I went bankrupt.
First off it's a game with ants in it well that's just cool in it's self ;) And you did a great job of mixing the gameplay up and the story was great. 5 star work all the way.
The theme is Connected Worlds well imagine the world of Tinker Toys everything is connected :) So you play as a wheel avoiding the sticks and a stick avoiding a wheel and the other parts that connect to both wheels and sticks.

Well I would have like to do more on the sound but time sort of ran out on me. I was in the 48 compo so I couldn't outsource for music either. Oh and my daughter does the voices :) she's only 6 and she did a great job.
Ya the collision is a bit off on a couple mazes but I can't update the submitted game after the deadline. I will however be doing a nice update on the game in the future which I'll put on Game Jolt and Indie DB :)

Hey thanks, The basic principle of the game is there. I moved the game over to Game Maker Studio already and cleaned up some of the frustrating stuff already :) Have some plans for a nice update in the future
Actually I made the collision boxes 16 X 16 very small so the game plays much crisper plus I centered the sprite as recommended here so when you flip it's easier to predict. I have a couple little things to do with it and I'll be putting it up on Itch.io. I'll post a link here when it's all ready.

Thanks for all the comments this was my first Ludum Dare and it was a lot of fun :) If you like the game make sure to try the updated version it's free on Itchio. I added some nice music and spruced up the art some and added 3 more levels of play.
It took me a few minutes to figure out that I shoot with my mouse button LOL so I died a whole bunch of times.

Great game overall, my skills switching dimensions need some more practice though :)
My girls loved this game they had trouble with the jumping though so they always died right away.

Very good job Juuso liked how they melted when they got to the fire. So had a strategy to stand near it and just kill the snowmen that came from the top :)

Hey thanks for trying out the game. :) Ya there's some things that could be improved on this game. And yes it would be good for mobile. I have some plans to expand it a bit as I was a little pressed for time so likely add a deluxe build on here before Christmas with some more levels and options :)

Thanks for the comments , ya I should have tested my html build I was just so happy to get the game to load in the first place as I had to upgrade to Game Maker 1.4 as the game wouldn't load at all before. I'll have a look at it after work. An the spawning at the top I know about it. It's something I know I can fix just ran out of time to do it.
I'm happy to report the html works exactly like the original now all fixed . Thanks for the feedback. I will be working on a deluxe version of this game this week using the suggestions given.
@Omiya Games I just fixed the bug in my game that causes the bells to blink I will be putting a deluxe version up on the Itchio page soon :)

I just checked the browser version all good if they get stuck over the grid just right click those ones and keep going
You were supposed to just destroy all but one color to reveal the message at the bottom :)

I enjoyed the game made it 16 miles and survived a couple days. Had no sound though when I played it so not sure what happened.

You have to be just right to get through the narrow passages so it takes a few tries to beat the levels
It shouldn't be too hard just keeping blowing kisses by if your empathy drops your firing rates drops but with high empathy you should be able to

Good job, I had the same problem as others that I couldn't see my word due to my screen size , if there was a way to full screen the game would be awesome :-)
I liked this game had a little trouble at first figuring out what to do but once I got the hang of it I did pretty good :-)

I really liked this game I give it high marks for fun. It took me a bit to figure out to use Z then X to fly high up. Controls were smooth and AI pretty tough
Heh I have to agree that some of those hallways are pretty long , going to do a deluxe version yet have some ideas to add some more depth and I need more variety in the furniture :-)
Oh and for those folks asking about the teleporting , that's your coffee and lunch breaks every 2 hours :-)

Ya I think I need to tighten up the bounding box a bit on the collision detection. You can only scare the sleepers once per day so if a sleeper doesn't scream after a few tries he's likely a obj_deepsleeper ;)
Tonight I done a little update to the game the original version is still there but from the feedback I added version 1.0.0.1. Added WASD keys, smaller bounding box, speed power up :-)
Ya I know there's some issues with some of the door objects mainly becuase my collision box was a too big. You do need to be a certain distance from the sleeper in order to scare them :-)

Well you just walk up to the bed and hit the spacebar a few times :) and the ones that wake up will get scared the others who are deep sleepers will just sleep away. So if someone doesn't wake up right away you better move to the next bed before you run out of time

The audio didn't work very good for me so I turned off otherwise a good shooter game
Great little game I liked the mood of the game :-) I just kept getting carried away killing the archers that I jumped right into the arrows.
Heh I kept getting tripped up with my answers , doesn't look too good for Trump in real life
Nice little shooter , graphics looks good would though consider maybe adding a couple more frames to the bats and slowing your image_speed a notch :)

Nice job on your game , played very smooth. Couldn't climb the rope to get wood after I got too cold liked the fact it looped back and you could pick up where you left off.
I like games with bugs and this one is no exception , I managed to make it a couple rounds but those grasshoppers are nasty :)

Yes @fabula-rasa I could include a zip file but even those when you go to unzip even my Norton tries to block every Ludum Dare entry I've tried so far. @blushine I think you also noticed the fact that writing dialogue is pretty tough and I didn't want to make it too nasty with swearing and profanity so I started to get some writers cramp towards the end. Sounds is something I could add yet for sure but would also have to add some sort of ambient music as well if I do that.

@mika-la-grand They should have worked fine it was built with Game Maker Studio so not sure why they wouldn't work . I know my Norton Antivirus has been blocking LDJam games perhaps your antivirus program is blocking it before it loads.
@mika-la-grand I thought about the zip file not working and I figured I should redo the zip file as I just put the installer in the zip file not the game unpacked. So I just put the unpacked game in the zip file now it should work better for you

Scorn is when you reply to a troll example "How can you think like that because that's not very nice...." Might be effective of getting a reaction (depending on what you said) and I retort would be " Whatever troll *insert smart remark that insults troll here* " Again I made the choices sort of random (you couldn't see what you were going to say) I figured it would give you a laugh and think I'll retry the game to see what the other ones were :)

Thanks , I did get a bit of writers cramp towards the end but again not everyone is going to make it that deep if they don't guess well enough. Ya I just have a time event that restarts the room could easily just shorten the time , just want to be sure not to reset too fast though as the player might not have time to read the last post.

I had not entered Ludum Dare for quite some time so I'm pretty happy with my scores as they are higher than some of my past entries. Nice to see folks scored high on the humor as the dialogue was perhaps the hardest part of putting this game together.

Great game made in just a short time , I'm a huge fan of RTS games so I really liked this entry. If this was my project I'd be thinking about adding some AI for the enemies :)

This is my favorite LD46 game I've tried so far. I have spent the last hour and a half trying to beat it and I've been close a couple times. I love the mood , graphics and just the feel of the game. Excellent work !

I really liked the game :) I was consistently losing my health on my flower even in the rain while using the umbrella not sure what I'm doing wrong. Good job overall though

Some potential with this game if you could start to use different mixes of color to get the right potion. It's always tough to finish in this jam either but you put together something anyway which is better than nothing.

I played through the game , overall good job on everything. Art was good and dialogue was great . I basically used up my gold and made sure there was plenty of food resource and that seemed to do the trick.
Cool little game , I liked that once I lost on the 2nd floor it didn't make me start all over. Good sound on this game.
Great game kept my tree alive for 149 seconds. Would have liked spacebar to shoot as I sucked at moving and using mouse button.

It reminds of good old Wolfenstien 3d so right away I found myself hitting the spacebar to open doors. Sounds would make the game much funner to play.Otherwise good job.

I tried the game out and it looks pretty cool but I couldn't get past the can and can't level it seemed my left mouse button would not shoot each time I clicked and the room would reset . Not sure what I'm doing wrong. I thought that perhaps the bottom of the game screen was below my laptops task bar.
