Played it a couple of times trying to trap the train until I realized it's not possible :) Fun game and well made. Especially I dig the graphics and the idea of a having a train to run over something.
Very interesting! I really liked the setting and the graphics! Unfortunately, there seems to be a bug when you want to get out of the secret cave: I always fall through the ground under the iceberg and die :( Tried a few times. May be I'm doing something wrong?
But nonetheless, well done! Nice game!
PS: for people using a 64bit Linux, you need to make bin_unix/lamiae64.bin executable in order to start the game.

Actually I liked the visuals so much, that I really wanted to play the game; but I don't run Windows so I made it compile on Linux. So if there's anybody on Linux too, here's a patch file (better use "save as" because of the CR's):

Actually I tried to procedurally generate the levels but that didn't work out too well. That's the reason there are only four levels :) Generating a well balanced but increasingly challenging distribution is quite delicate.

No, I just didn't realize because I was hitting space all the time while developing. Auto-respawning will be definitely in the post-compo version.

This could be so immersive!! Really cool driving music, quick gameplay and really nice graphics. Somehow I really like the use of hex tiles with that idea. But sadly I feel it's just too unfair to really get me going. As other have mentioned, the turret is moving too slow and you don't have a chance to get astroids coming from above or below - or am I playing this wrong and there is a way?

Oh wow I got lost in this one! :) Has all the right ingredients for me. I like the setup (scientist in a lab), that warping sphere effect, the discreet sound and those puzzles of course. Impressive entry!

It's very nice that you made the skeletons not immediately lethal but simply destroy an item you can re-buy later. Interesting and very creative concept! Well done!

First time I played I lost my settlers almost immediately what basically means game over because I couldn't get any faith to build more. Second time I had fun with fire and flood and slowly get a hang of it ... ;) The depth of the game is just amazing for a compo and I really liked the humor very much. Well done!
