Noticed that respawning is bugged out. Might want to fix that. Interesting concept otherwise.
Foon → Ludum Dare Explorer → LD31 → A Dog's Tale

Noticed that respawning is bugged out. Might want to fix that. Interesting concept otherwise.
Game Window scrolled outside of screen (ironic?), couldn't play
Also had some issues with respawning. Did really enjoy the concept, though!
Pretty cool concept. Yeah when I die I go to what I presume is doggy purgatory, but I have to refresh the page to restart. My input also registers on the page as well as the game, making it difficult to move. Not sure if this is something you can fix in code or is an issue with the site.
Not working on Safari.
Starting on Firefox, but nothing happens, even if I press space or WASD oder arrow keys.
Hey guys, I think the scrolling is beyond my control, so I added the WASD option as a work-around. Thanks for the feedback.
fachexot: I've been testing on Chrome only, apparently Firefox handles input differently. I'll have to look into that later. >_<
I love it's in 3d, textures took some time to load, but in the end it played well.
The arrow keys and space bar really wig out the game view in Chrome.
Nice game and cool graphics, please add some sounds and music!
I have no idea how to start the game ._.
Nice idea but it seems a bit unfinished.
It gets a little boring. Maybe if you added some music and sfx woudl help.
I definitely need to add a bit of sound, music and polish all around. There's only so much you can do on your own in 48 hours! Thanks for the feedback, guys.
Would love me some sound effects. Kudos for the backstory.
I liked this game it was a good concept but i didnt know where to go to win the game but overall it was fun!
Pfilzweg: Yeah, I'll have to add sound to a non-compo version.
ssheep: You're supposed to attack the enemies to win.
Fun little game. Watching the dog die is heartbreaking!
Fun game. nice simple mechanics, also the game over screen was simple but effective.
Interesting game. Definitely fun to play.
The dog is running in circles and I can't control it. Played in a new tab, so no scrolling issues. Tested in Firefox and Chrome.
Firefox console says: "TypeError: event.keyIdentifier is undefined"
It's fun to hide in the bushes and attack the guards from disguise! Like it!
I'm not sure why I keep dying. There's no feedback for why I'm dying, I just suddenly keel over.
madameberry: you're getting shot by a soldier. I didn't have time to make a proper shooting animation or feedback, so pretend they're shooting you with their mind-powers. :)
Really like the dog model! :) Great animation there.
The game was quite challenging. Would have liked some indication of whom spotted you.
A fun little stealth game. I thought it was a bit hard/unfair because I couldn't figure out the rules for when the soldiers could see me, and (especially) because they'd just turn randomly sometimes -- I wasn't even able to finish the first level because with three guys in the box at the end, it seems like mostly luck..? I did really like the character models and animations, though!
Neat game. Nice graphics. Insta-death felt a little harsh. Perhaps a small transition/animation would work. Liked how quickly you could replay though. Nice job!
Wheres the audio?? Cool idea but would be more fun with some audio!
This game remembers me a puzzle in Ocarina Of Time, when you are trying to speak with Zelda, well done!
Needed some time to figure out I was supposed to kill the soldiers instead of sneaking past them (my bad), but then it all made sense. Fun gameplay, I just wish the AI was a tad more complex instead of those simple and often weird walk patterns. Otherwise pretty cool, and nice visuals.
