10 sec. Fast Beef by Alexander Ponomariov 2013-08-27T12:31:00
Very nice game! Very funny and alternative. And great development of difficulty.

Very nice game! Very funny and alternative. And great development of difficulty.
Wow, awesome! Really great game. Actually like the small levels - had a fine difficulty. The graphics are impressive along with the general polish of the game.
Really great and fun! Quite humurous and really liked the artwork. Only thing I found a tad odd, was that a few elements didn't fit the art style ("Pick the Culpit" font, an arrow, etc.). However, a fantastic entry.
Great game, but too damn hard! Especially because the "model" changes every time, and thus what didn't trigger the bomb last time, maybe does now..
Nice game! Really great use of the theme as a game mechanic. Original.
Nice game, really great graphics and audio! And really loved the zombie explosions!
The never ending world seemed a bit odd though; would have liked a more limited world, with more zombies.
But all in all a very solid game!
Wow, not much of a game, though it was an emotional and very beautiful experience! But has great potential to become something very great!
The graphics are really great; nice to see a different artstyle. It's a bid sad that you got to have friends (around;)) to play it. Solid game mechanic although I found a tad boring - sorry, but too many draws.
However, a great entry.
Very Fine game! Challenging and interesting gameplay.
Linux: the mouse sensivity was a bit creazy, and the setting in game did not help out.
A true piece of art! The graphics are stunning and along with the audio, it really set the mood.
The gameplay was also spot on; at first I thought it would be too overwhelming with so many choices, but I managed to collect all the notes without wandering for too long.
Wow, very nice game! Funny interpretation of the theme. Really liked the neat oldschool graphics.
Like the ironic difficulty levels (wasn't quite childishly easy)
Fine concept and use of the theme. Fine idea with the hard-difficulty - was quite hard.
I really liked the graphics. However it could use some feedback to the user, when you click a fire or accident. The map was a little boring, given that it is large and just lines.
However, great work - and very hectic!
(worked fine, Linux)
Very fun game! And nice tutorial in the beginning.
Haha, wow that is some game! The controls and gameplay were crazy - which I think was intended - but it was really fun to play! Really humourus too!
The graphics and animations were simply fantastic. Really impressive.
Very nice game, quite fun! Love the idea of the human that has to open the crates - however, you could expand further on that mechanic: e.g. make him set up the guns too?
However, I had a minor problem: the zombies are not grid-aligned, meaning, sometimes they fall inbetween you lines of your shooters; thus making it hard to place your guns or impossible to shoot at them.
The graphics were nice, great work!
Btw, a small note about controls/where to put guns, etc. would be nice.
Haha, funny game. Quickly becomes quite hard. Love the story (and that there is a story!)
Very fine game. Quite fun to play. A lot of different levels, with varying difficulty.
However, the goal of the game, to get to the goal as close to 10 seconds as possible, could be a bit clearer in the game itself: like better feedback, when you get to the goal or maybe a time-based score?
I really liked the graphics
Wow, definitely one of the best games, woah! Graphics are amazing - even the game-over-screen is damn perfect!
Really like the idea, feel, mood and love the subtle yet awesome audio.
There is only one thing that I would really change about it, though: the difficulty is too easy. When you have all the upgrades, you can survive endlessly - it's only a matter of when you (after a long while, though!) get bored of it.
(subtle tip: if you could escape the upgrade-menu with any other key than escape, like a right-handed button or space - that would be great)
But really, fantastic game!
Very nice game! Very addictive; it is a really rewarding feeling when you clear multiple clouds at a time. Thumbs up for the orginal mechanics.
Very nice graphics! Really nice and pixelated.
The game was quite easy though, especially because of one of the weapons being highly overpowered.
However, considering your notes about improvemts, this could turn out to be a really great game!
A game with great potential. The levels were maybe too easy; in the second level you could kill all enemies without using the invisibility thing.
The wall bouncing thing was quite nice - you should expand on that.
Graphics were great; really like the pixelated graphics. Could use some better audio.
You can see that a lot of work has gone into this.
Nice game. Very cute graphics.
The gameplay had some minor hiccups, especially when switching between characters. Great entry, though!
Kept playing. Quite fun. Has potential.
Wow, really hard game! Took me a long time to really grasp the concept - but really a solid game! Fine game mechanics and gameplay; nice touch with the censored bad girl ;).
The music was a bit annoying though.
Quite nice game. Really liked the music and very cool use of the transition effects between levels.
Did enjoy playing it. The graphics were mixed; the earth, defender and enemies were nice; wish the HUD had the same feeling about it.
Great entry, considering you accidentally deleted your first game!
What a game! Really exceeded my expectations: at first I didn't think much of it, but the ingame graphics (the player and clocks) are actually fine; and especially the gameplay is very solid and fun. Quite a challange.
Very nice graphics and mood :) Fine and simple gameplay
Very hard to understand what's really going on. I got stuck at the stairs.
Controls were weird (Linux) - not WASD movement.
And escape did not go to the menu.
However, an interesting project.
Beautiful game, really like the artwork - seems original.
However, it seemed too chaotic to me, and I kept floating out to the border.
Protip: you should disable text-selection on the screen, while playing (if possible with your setup).
Very nice game, whoa! Fantastic graphics and easy game mechanics. Great take on the theme.
Quickly becomes quite challenging. Really liked the Indiana Jones-got-to-slide-through-the-door-just-in-time-feeling :)
Very nice! Really liked the fantastic art graphics and general feel of the game.
Something stuck me about the font though, didn't fit perfectly I think. (the ingame one)
And the award for most frustrating game goes to.... descrout! Hehe, actually quite enjoyable! Gameplay was spot on. Only the last level took me so many retries - but nice to see a game that restarts instantly to the same level.
The graphics were fitting - but didn't really catch the music though.
Great entry!
Wow, very alternative, but really breath-taking, actually! For a text-based game, it was quite fun to play.
Very beautiful graphics! Great atmosphere.
Quite hard, didn't go very far, even after more than a handful of tries. Has many elements to it; but I felt it was a bit unclear what the spikes and such do? I could walk over them without anything happening? And the different platform types and such; felt a little confusing. However a fine game.
Linux: The game seems to crash sometimes
Quite fun to play. Great game. Could use a better transition between levels; and maybe a total score. The controls worked well.
Really nice. A little hard. Did not use the lights really, just tried jumping around until I found exit. Maybe add more traps?
The game has a nice mood and feeling about it.
The graphics were a bit mixed. The bullet and particle effects were great along with the colors of the background; however this does not go great alongside the enemies and the ship. Has potential though - great entry.
Wow! That's a fantastic game and a great accomplishment in 48 hours! The concept of the game is very nice, and the gameplay was amazing; simple but both hard and fun. Really nice animations and graphics.
Really nice game. Addictive and nice graphical feel. Could have used some background music, although the other sound effects were great.
Haha, very nice game! Got to space at last. Great humor!
Funny game - really like those. Great development of difficulty. Nice thing that it supports different controls (keyboard, touch and mouse).
The only thing I found a bit odd, was that the guards escape their "chase the theif"-state; feels like they should keep chasing you or trigger an alarm.
However, great entry!
Very nice thing with voice-over! The graphics were absolutely stunning.
Wow, one of the best games I've played so far! Very fun and fast-paced gameplay! Challenging without being unbeatable.
Wow, really nice game! Really great with the upgrade-system; really prolongs the game. And the hyper-mode was really nice done.
Wow, that's some game! Really love the explosions and fast pace of the game. Really hectic! But also quite difficult
Wow, this is a real hard game! Very well made, in that it runs smoothly and the transitions are great; good use of the ticking sound.
Wow, what a game! So psychedelic! Really impressed by your approach to the theme.
Very fine idea. Great job with all the levels.
Wow, really great experience! It's more like an interactive story than a game. But it was really awesome: and with a really sweet and motivating message!
Wow, I *really* love those awesome talking heads! Cute and wonderful. Really great execution.
Rare to see someone put their handwriting out there in a game: bold ;).
Great story and solid RPG. Wish you had chosen to scale the web-version to e.g. double size (pixel-preserving of course).
Really many great things about this game :) Varying enemies (sprites mostly), increasing difficulty and 4 different weapons; the shotgun was really satisfying!
The enemies feel too similar and too easy (the rats are actually the "hardest"). I think putting a (more realistic) limit to the character's movement speed would be great.
Smart to use regular HTML-elements to implement the HUD.
Haha, such a charming game!;) And those sound effects..(:P)
It is pretty hard though; had to quit after at least 10 retries. Would like to come back and try again, solving the mystery of how it relates to the theme ;)
Lovely game. Great way of displaying controls/introduce the game (with the first level).
Wow :) Such a well-polished game. Cool idea, and funny characters to draw. Really awesome!
Congrats on your game :) Nice tiny graphics. With more levels this is promising.
Wow, so this game truly feels unique with that folding-screen-mechanic-concept. The controls/combat was a little hard to figure out. Like the graphics :)
I am really impressed with the cut-scenes! They are mesmerizing and really well done!
However, I ragequited after a few levels (the one with giant robot sliding in from the left) because I couldn't put 3 consequtive bagjumps together (the controls for this were really hard/odd to me).
I liked that Badbag is present in each level :)
Yeah: another one of those games that should come with an "ADDICTIVE"-warning ;). Really challenging, but satisfying when you match lots of drops. Also, the background-music was really well done.
Your game is a prime example of why I love LudumDare so much! :). Impressive with an implementation of *two* games in one "game". The super-fast enemy-behavior in the shooting-game was hilarious ;)
Sad that this can't be rated, cause it is really awesome.
yo
finally.
Haha, I am not sure what I just played there! A very, ehh, psychedelic experience for sure. Actually managed to win the game? (I got that icecream). Despite that it was quite hard. Really liked the mantis-eating-you-amimation ;)
Thank you! (For creating such a lovely game.)
Great that you were able to limit the controls to only LMB! (Consider that it would make a great mobile/tablet game too?)
[I won:)]
Great concept! The pixel-graphics are nice and the mood in the little cabin is cozy.
However, when you have hired the elves there is not much to do? I think it would be nice if you (e.g. playing santa) had to somehow control the elves and keep them occupied and stop slacking off, etc. :)
It has potential.
Really fun! The game is quite hectic without being overwhelming or too hard. Nice graphics.
What can I add beyond the obvious? Amazing game.
I love that game-mechanic. Although the "string" could be bigger for a more satisfactory feeling when eliminating enemies, the game concept is pretty clear and well executed.
I really like the concept of a pure text-based game. The interaction with enemies were a little confusing though? Do I automatically attack enemies with the selected weapon? Or did me spamming the "inv use"-key have an effect? If so, why do i swap weapon and attack with the same key?
Overall though, really great contribution :)
Clever puzzles. When you figure out the correct "sequence" to beat the puzzle, it puts an extra challange to do so as quick as possible. Really great idea. (Reached level 7.)
Nice game! :) Really like the pixel-art-work! Slick font too. Everything seems to work really well.
One thing though: probably use a different key than "fire" to start over when you die. (I immediately skipped to see what score I got; around wave 14.)
[+1 for using Phaser ;)]
Nice game: short and beatable :). I liked the pixel-graphics: but I think the article-effects + snowballs disturb the eye (given that they are not pixelated like the rest of the game). But the snowmen especially, were nice :)
So not much of a game. The concept is more like a kids-game. However, I find the execution to be really smooth and it was somewhat satisfying to build lots of different snowmen :D
Your art style is really cute!
This has become one of my favorites so far! The graphics really capture that retro-arcade-feel.
It is really satisfying to put the fire out with the lovely water-mechanic :).
The controls are hard; but in a really good way, because they are precise, and I think they reflect your skills.
One "critique": the "zone is on fire"-sound was quite annoying :b
Simple little game; the burning robot snowmen works especially nice. (Score: 52)
Some cute small pixel sprites there :) A simple game, but a finely polished experience.
Very nice game -- cool idea!
It's lovely to see games that celebrate LudumDare itself! :)
So the gameplay is pretty basic, but it works out ok. I like the graphics: your moose-sprite is cool -- and nice start-screen-art :)
Wooho, I beat the game in just 53.75 sec :) Simple and fun little game.
I like your concept :). The game is quite hard though, and I feel like the characters contribution is small (the blocks often match by coincidence if you do nothing).
Really like the dog model! :) Great animation there.
The game was quite challenging. Would have liked some indication of whom spotted you.
So I like the idea of shooting enemies on a rotating cube. However, the enemies were probably too easy (they do nothing to attack you, apart from the rare ones that can shoot).
Also on the white face, either your character or bullets are white too (so they are impossible to see)?
But with some polish and more challenging enemies, this is really solid :)
It's sad that you were not able to find a place to host your game (especially since it is javascript, and thus is very platform independent!).
(I had to edit the app.html to make it work: apparently the file "level/levelManager.js" was referenced in the html-file with an uppercase "L")
Interesting concept! At first I thought it was too easy, until I realized that "first", "second", "third", etc. referred to different floors! Then it quickly became quite a challenge :)
*****! First time I saw that creepy *$@!; wow I got quite a scare! Really great (read creepy) game :)
[Btw: on Linux, I had to kill the process to quit?]
Wow, these sprites were not big. The games is really difficult (many enemies, that are hard to kill).
I liked the motivational message when you die :)
So yeah, the light is pretty poor (it took me a moment to spot the gun, that you had to pick up to shoot). But I like the idea of the living-pixel-effect; it makes a good effect when you blast the invaders to pieces :).
Yeah, the controls are really hard to get used to.
The spacecraft shooting green lasers is pretty cool, and the scrolling space-invaders background is a cool effect :)
Really great graphical-work! Those sprites are topnotch, and with a beautiful background too. I found the mechanics odd, and it is far too easy to just stand in a corner and shoot away.
If you could somehow include the background story you wrote on this page into the game with progression, and fixing the mechanics you have a really great start to a good game :)
