Great game, I thought the mechanics worked very well.
However, in browser (Chrome, Windows) using WASD just sends me inside the walls, and I then can't jump. Works fine with arrow keys.
Quite challenging, I liked the graphics and mood.
Cute, but too easy to find the creatures. Maybe have some objects in the foreground?
Interesting idea. I think you should make the explanations at the start clearer though, if not make a brief tutorial level.
Some of the graphics felt like they all blended in to each other too much, but maybe that's just me.

One thing - if the bird got scooped up by the blue tentacles AFTER dropping the egg in a safe place - the level was still completed. Is this intentional?

Fun game. Really need feedback when you get hit, and it would be good if the player collision mesh was visually obvious.

Are you sure you hadn't run out of arrows already?
If I fire whilst waiting for level to change, the arrow count on the UI does go down, but when the level loads it is restored again.
Thoroughly enjoyed this, could have done with a couple more difficult enemies though. Excellent polish.
I like the graphics and the mood they create. I think you need to add more gameplay elements though.

It's very frustrating with the slow motion controls, however. Maybe you can tweak that a bit.
