LD27 — 10 Seconds

Maze Rush by OneL3gend 2013-08-30T20:21:00

Nice visuals and animations. Needs a bit more variety and spritelier controls though. Could be a really fun little game with a few tweaks and additions.

Steven Seagal: Hard to SWAT by farmergnome 2013-08-26T09:43:00

Awesome as ever! Loved the ram-raiding and the central mechanic is really tight. I hope to see an extended version of this...

The First Odyssey by davisan 2013-08-27T12:49:00

I liked the badass way she could fire behind her without looking! Needs polish but there is a cool concept at heart here - having to kill regularly to keep alive.

10 sec. Fast Beef by Alexander Ponomariov 2013-09-08T12:53:00

The evil twin of Angry Birds! I really enjoyed this. Great atmosphere, visuals and sound. The difficulty seemed to take a sudden hike between levels two and three but this was still a lot of fun. Excellent work!

Gone in 10 seconds: a trio of mini games by Skully 2013-08-26T21:35:00

Had to check this out because it shares a name with my entry! We must have been watching the same films.

Anyway, three nice little minigames. I feel you missed a trick by not tying them together somehow but they were all enjoyable in their own right.

Lean Mikey's Mega Muscles with Lean Mikey by handCraftedRadio 2013-08-27T12:01:00

I love this! Such a nice concept and mood. I've just impressed more ladies in five minutes than in all the rest of my days combined. Thanks Mikey!

10 seconds to save the day by Volute 2013-08-30T18:31:00

Lovely dreamy mood. Great visuals. I enjoyed playing this.

Duke Dashington by AdventureIslands 2013-08-26T15:53:00

Really nice smooth style and gameplay. A very enjoyable five minutes.

Bloodlust: Damsel Destruction by villhest 2013-08-30T15:28:00

The first game I've played in which it rains naked virgins! I could hardly catch them within the time limit though. Nice B-movie sound effects and style.

My Tenth Adventure by DiscoFish 2013-08-27T13:44:00

Awesome aesthetic, music and mood! I don't think I would have figured out the puzzles if I hadn't cheated and peeked at the spoiler but that's my fault, not yours. :) I'm also not sure how useful the mingame was but I enjoyed it nonetheless.

Great work!

Rabbits and spaceships ! by rianoto 2013-08-30T19:44:00

Nice idea but I second the suggestion of having indicators of some sort to show how long things are taking.

Fugit by jerombd 2013-08-30T19:56:00

Cute concept with nice artwork. Perhaps it could have used a bit more variety but it was fun nonetheless.

Power Struggle by TomSmizzle 2013-08-27T19:07:00

I loved the way the audio ties in with the gameplay. In fact, every aspect of this meshes together beautifully. I really enjoyed playing it.

90 Degrees by HD408 2013-08-30T13:02:00

Some more interesting art and sounds would have gone a long way towards making this more atmospheric but I'm really glad I played it nonetheless. It's nicely written and plotted. The ending made me smile and has genuinely brightened my day. Thank you!

Ten Second Sketch Racer by mollymus 2013-08-29T14:05:00

The layout of some levels was slightly confusing (to my eyes, at least) but I was just happy soaking up the visuals. Great style and concept.

Legend of Troll by Christina Antoinette Neofotistou 2013-08-30T10:24:00

I can't wait for the post-compo version! The mood of this was excellent - wonderful art, animations and sound tied to a very charming premise. The characterisation of the servile trolls and their grumpy queen was spot-on and added a lot to the game's appeal.

The gameplay mechanic is very promising too, and makes good use of the theme.

Excellent work!

10 Sec And Slash by NostraDamon 2013-08-29T12:54:00

Great concept, lovely art style and graphics, smooth controls. I did feel sorry for my little dudes! This is a very polished piece of work and I really enjoyed playing it.

Robby by Morusque 2013-08-30T21:20:00

Yep, the view from up there is really nice...

I loved this game! The writing is great and I appreciated the way you anticipated every stupid move I might consider making (dialling the policeman was actually my first instinct!). This is definitely one of my favourite experiences of the competition so far. Thanks!

SliP by Sakuyan 2013-08-30T20:50:00

Lovely style and superb level design! The possession mechanic was a nice use of the theme. I really enjoyed playing this.

Fireman Ten by Zccc 2013-09-03T18:39:00

Very nice little game. Neat mechanic and cute visuals. It's a very small point but I would have liked to be able to use the spacebar to continue between rounds, rather than needing to return to the mouse. Good work!

Elevator Pitch by Back to Browse Entries 2013-08-29T14:43:00

Fun idea. It could really have done with a heap more games in the mix as I kept getting the same few permutations but I enjoyed playing.

The Grassfires of Veldstar by Porpentine 2013-08-26T20:56:00

Lots of nice little touches here (the sultry voice acting and soaring overhead silhouettes, for example) and cool mechanics such as using the grass for cover. The difficulty level was pleasingly unforgiving but I love crystals so I kept coming back. Haven't quite finished it yet but I will...

Sky Trader by dekart 2013-09-04T20:09:00

Excellent game - lovely polished style and the mechanics worked really well. It was like a pared down 'Pirates!' and very enjoyable to play.

Minor quibbles: tenuous link to the theme and a poor choice of key for entering cities (the player has to take their hand off the mouse or keys to hit enter - space would have been preferable).

Altogether, a really strong entry. Nice work!

Poppy vs. the Night by SecondDimension 2013-09-08T12:59:00

Excellent. The story-telling was concise but evocative, the visuals and sound matched the mood perfectly and the gameplay was varied and fun. Very enjoyable!

The Saddest Landscape by BradleySmith 2013-08-27T22:32:00

Just lovely. Can't wait to see a full game in this style.

10 Second Sentai! by PixelOaks 2013-08-30T20:30:00

It's a shame the other sentai don't work yet. The skeleton is in place here for a really nice game. I hope you continue to develop it. Music, visuals and controls all mesh together nicely.

xhon by savethejets1 2013-08-28T11:40:00

This is a definite favourite. An effective lack of hand-holding, together with great visuals and music, make the world seem nicely alien. The level design is excellent. I really enjoyed playing.

Lodestar by folmerkelly 2013-08-28T10:43:00

Lovely laid-back mood and beautiful graphics. Nice music too. I played this one for quite a long time just soaking up the atmosphere. I think it would only take a few tweaks to balance the gameplay (and a few extra levels and enemies) to turn it into a really addictive little game. Excellent work!

Boxer's Seconds by madk 2013-08-27T21:33:00

This is one of my favourites so far. It's clever, funny, nicely written and planned, and just really satisfying to play. I loved all the little touches like squashing ants and signing your name too. Great work!

Apple Harvest by Spelchan 2013-08-26T21:38:00

180! Do I win a prize? :)

10s Paparazzi by Ithildin 2013-09-08T12:42:00

Nice, smart little game with great visuals and smooth controls. Snappy!

Clocked In by rylgh 2013-08-27T22:50:00

Yep, this is thoroughly awesome. Lovely tight gameplay, great audio and graphics, the whole thing just feels smooth and satisfying. Perfect learning curve, too.

Flooded Dungeons by ripatti 2013-08-30T20:44:00

A very cool little game, an RPG pared down to it's bare essentials. Lovely effective pixel art and sounds. Great fun.

Balloon Rescue by andreyin 2013-08-27T10:59:00

That was a lot of fun. Graphics and sound were nice and clean (especially loved the little Defender style people) and the jousting was tricky but satisfying. Good work!

10s drawing by Webravenz 2013-08-29T12:10:00

I think this is my favourite experience of the competition so far. I loved the fact that my beautiful(!) pictures were collated into an online gallery. I also really enjoyed looking through other people's work - some of it is astonishing given the time limit! Interesting to see how almost everyone drew 'dream' in the same way. :)

Fantastic concept realised with polish and flair. Top marks!

Mr.President! (Web) by Richard Matey 2013-08-30T18:25:00

I have ALWAYS wanted to be Kevin Costner in 'The Bodyguard'! Highlights of this hugely enjoyable game for me were:

-The bullet is sensationally high-velocity.

-The bodyguard is wearing an implausibly tight suit.

-Whitney Houston.

I did actually complete the game and I was left wanting more. I really hope your Greenlight takes off. If it does, may I request a key which allows you to put your hand to your ear as if receiving unspecified instructions. :D

Really, great work!

I Need a Lunch Break! by flyingbear 2013-08-27T17:03:00

Wonderful! A really enjoyable game with great graphics, audio and gameplay.

Time Taxi by HippyJonYo 2013-08-30T20:59:00

It took me a little while to work out how the time line was functioning but when I did I found this to be a fun little game. The concept is cool and the main gameplay mechanic is pretty satisfying.

The Unbelievable Adventures of Kamil the Cat by blackcode 2013-08-27T16:23:00

That was fun! Cute graphics and sound and a nice variety of mechanics.

Midlands Noire by Ysty 2013-08-26T10:43:00

Nice atmosphere and thought-provoking text. A few more sound effects would have gone a long way to deepen the mood but otherwise I really liked this.

YellowBox Disposal Service by TakeNapEveryday 2013-08-30T20:18:00

It was a little too short and simple which is a shame because the concept is nice and the controls and style are really cool.

Tetchy Mrs. Sheriff Saves The Day by Pol 2013-08-30T20:25:00

A nice little finger workout with a really cool story and art style. Great stuff!

Dust in the Candy Megaverse by Xgor 2013-08-30T20:13:00

Loved the Mickey Mouse style voiceover and the candy factory vibe. The gameplay was tricky in the later stages but the controls were smooth and intuitive. A little more variety would have gone a long way but I did enjoy playing this.

At the cafe by Pierrec 2013-09-09T18:21:00

Didn't have a friend on hand so I had to make out with myself, which was actually very enjoyable! Love the style and the clever mechanics. Really nice work.

TENSEC by bombjack 2013-08-31T11:39:00

I was far too slow to beat this and it was a little frustrating to be thrown right back to the start each time! I had fun, though - it's a neat concept and I like the clean minimalist style. I'm going to try it on a touch screen later and see if that improves my performance. :)

Hungry Fishers Dream Team by TijmenTio 2013-08-30T14:17:00

I second the request for a shark! Otherwise, this was awesome. Lovely concept and great style.

You're a fly by Esenti 2013-08-27T16:11:00

Very cool little game. Lovely smooth controls and a simple but addictive mechanic (it's a nice trick to have the flies closely resemble the enemies) made for a very enjoyable game. I played this for quite a while - it definitely has the 'one more go' factor.

Every 10 Seconds a Window Washer Falls to his Death by dom2d 2013-08-28T13:42:00

Superb! An amazingly polished game with gorgeous art and sound. Above all, it was really fun to play - I've already spent more time on it than any other game so far. Awesome work.

ARGENTUM FORM by blackotus 2013-08-28T23:29:00

One of my favourites for sure. Everything meshes together so well - story, graphics, sound - to create a really compelling atmosphere. Loved it.

Death Star by Nuclear_Hammer 2013-08-29T15:14:00

I'm going to echo most of the other comments and say the art is great and the controls are smooth but the game is way too demanding from the outset.

Bomb Squad by Levi D. Smith 2013-08-30T19:49:00

This was pretty funny, partly because of how terrible I was at playing it! I did get the hang after a while, though, and it's a pretty satisfying mechanic. Special mention should be made of the physics and the epic voice-over.

Narcoleptic Chicken Kid by Lianne Booton 2013-08-29T14:32:00

Great game. Superb art style and music. Poor chicken kid...

Cedarville by BenWhi 2013-08-30T19:54:00

Good concept and a terse, effective writing style. I really liked the crossover between some of the stories and the way you made the player question the limits of their agency. Good work.

Short Nightmares by Martin_Monosys 2013-09-01T14:29:00

Got stuck on the fourth night... Really enjoyed the experience up until then, however. Great moody visuals and sound, creepy and intense.

CyberMaiden by NightShadow0 2013-08-30T10:36:00

"Please hold still for best results." :D

There was a nice vibe to this, helped along by slick visuals and a fun mechanic. I just wish I could have got further but the scanner proved too quick for me every time...

The Vengeful Baby-Men by Jarcas Studios 2013-08-30T12:37:00

Cool idea! I made it through some of the songs just by guesswork and using the hints but that's the fault of my ears, I think. I could have done with the instruments coming in at different points to really make it obvious for me. Anyway, a very nice, original little game.

Murder On The Dancefloor by CustomPhase 2013-08-26T20:24:00

Awesome atmosphere and music. The gameplay was fun and the art style sat nicely with everything else. Good job!

Total Spaghettification by unusualcadence 2013-08-28T13:58:00

Excellent mood, tricky but rewarding level design. This had a real Canabalt style appeal which kept me coming back. Great work!

Hallucivian by Hypnohustla 2013-08-26T16:00:00

Beautiful sound and visuals. It feels really polished and the difficulty is pitched just right in my opinion. A blast.

The Aliens Came (10 seconds to choose) by porglezomp 2013-08-30T21:56:00

Nice work! Really effective storytelling, both text and visuals, given an extra boost by the 10-second mechanic. I thoroughly enjoyed playing this.

Gone in 10 Seconds by panurge 2013-08-26T11:28:00

@CustomPhase - Thanks for playing and for spotting that goof. I guess I could change it as a typo but I might let it stand as an unintentional 'feature'. :)

Gone in 10 Seconds by panurge 2013-08-27T10:48:00

@AdventureIslands - Yes, I had big plans for the final scene but unfortunately ran out of time so I had to just rough out that little party scene with about twenty minutes to go!

Gone in 10 Seconds by panurge 2013-08-27T14:59:00

@vanderZwan - Haha, I hadn't noticed that! I also just discovered myself that you can boost one of the other characters onto your head during the final party and jump around with them perched on top. :)

Gone in 10 Seconds by panurge 2013-08-27T23:18:00

@rylgh - Thanks! Good spot with the overlapping dialogue - I'll look into that straight away. There is one 'pause' in the very first conversation which needs space even when nobody is talking but otherwise it shouldn't do that.

Gone in 10 Seconds by panurge 2013-08-29T19:17:00

@oajfh Hmmm, I'll have to look into that... Was he doing anything in particular when it happened?

Gone in 10 Seconds by panurge 2013-09-04T18:17:00

@Zccc - Thanks for the spot, I'll look into that straight away.

@Colapsydo - You are the first to spot that wardrobe malfunction! I love your pic - I was thrilled when I first realised you could boost a player onto your head like that. :)

Gone in 10 Seconds by panurge 2013-09-09T18:15:00

@Pierrec - Which browser did you use? I've had someone else make the same complaint about the hitboxes/jumping and I'm not sure why it seems to be doing that in certain cases...

Signal Delay by ChrisGaudino 2013-08-27T12:10:00

Great concept and fun, fiddly gameplay. I was really bad at it but I enjoyed playing.

You can't hide by TheThirdOne 2013-08-26T21:58:00

Really promising mechanics and mood. Just a shame you didn't have time to put in a few more levels and some more challenging mechanics. Lots of potential here.

Doctor Drown (Ph D) by paulmcgg 2013-09-05T15:26:00

Awesome atmosphere with perfect visuals and music (I'd love to see the intro fleshed out a little - it's a beautiful, succinct bit of storytelling).

I cottoned to the mechanic very quickly and am pleased to report that I drowned all the agents on my first go! *cackles*

An excellent entry which I really enjoyed playing. Thanks!

Duel by zlowrance 2013-08-28T17:34:00

Cool soundtrack and a nice mechanic. It could have used some shooting sounds and animations but it was fun to play.

10 Seconds of Grey by Almax27 2013-08-30T13:59:00

Beautiful style, mood, visuals and sound. It's shame there isn't more variety in the conversations and some 'win' condition to aim towards, but this was a thoroughly enjoyable experience.

Streaker 2013 by ashdnazg 2013-09-05T21:38:00

Ha! Whatever happened to streakers? You don't see them around half as much as you used to and I think that is society's loss... Anyway, I really enjoyed this. It was funny, nicely put together and very enjoyable to play.

Whodunit by Nezzhil 2013-08-29T20:33:00

Beautiful artwork, animations and music, really atmospheric. The mechanic is excellent too - I only wish the 10 second limit could be extended! I hope you develop this further - it has heaps of potential.

The Riddle by tmmyy 2013-08-30T15:37:00

Nope, this has me stumped...

Sacrebleu! by Liz England 2013-08-27T18:43:00

Zut alors! Smartly written and plotted, this must have been a lot of fun to write and that enjoyment is infectious - I had a blast reading it.

Bomb Disposer by glocks 2013-08-29T13:22:00

Wow! My favourite so far. A really intense experience with excellent writing, perfect audio and graphics (although these last were very basic, I think they had to be in order to recreate the intense focus needed for the task) and really satisfying, cerebral gameplay. You expected far more of the player than simple reactions or spatial logic, something really unusual in games, and I'm hugely impressed by the way you managed to mesh the story with the gameplay so perfectly.

I did complete the game, at least I think I did (it stopped after I'd cut four or five sets of four wires) but I just got a black screen at the end. Is this intentional?

Anyway, I can't mark this down at all. Thank you for a phenomenal experience.

Dinosaur Jr. vs the 1960's by devi ever 2013-08-28T10:56:00

Short and sweet. Playing this painted a big smile on my face from start to finish. Perfect graphics and audio. Also the most satisfying stomping and eating mechanic since Rampage! Excellent work!

Baking Bread by soerensen3 2013-08-27T17:09:00

Score: 990! This was a fun little concept, nicely executed.

Dungeon Crawling Simulator 2013 by MrBlade 2013-09-15T19:04:00

Bustin' doors is what I do best! :)

I'm a sucker for text adventures and this was an enjoyable little puzzler. It suffers from some of the problems which have plagued the genre since time immemorial (or, um, the 80s), namely forcing the player to play 'guess the verb' when they know already what it is they want to do, but that was part of the fun for me.

Impressively coded and nicely plotted. I really enjoyed playing.

10 Second Hero by Diogo Muller 2013-08-27T13:16:00

Fun! I would have liked even more variety in levels and perhaps a number of days with each day lasting ten seconds (maybe nights too with different levels?). Anyway, really nice work.

Just 10 Seconds by ellipticaldoor 2013-08-30T16:17:00

Fun and stylish but the gameplay could have been a little more varied. I was expecting more levels with a greater choice of boxes and colours. This has potential, though, and could be expanded into something really nice. It certainly has a lovely atmosphere.

Step Out by bitserum 2013-08-27T12:36:00

Some lovely puzzles with a satisfying mix of mechanics and a nicely pitched learning curve. Really good atmosphere too. Very enjoyable.

Ten Second Dungeon by Jimanzium 2013-08-27T21:14:00

Took a little while for me to get into this but I really liked it when I did. A nicely tuned difficulty level kept me playing and the graphics, sound and gameplay meshed together really well.

exposure by zillix 2013-09-15T14:43:00

Beautiful. The graphics, sound and gameplay are all simple but elegant and they combine to create a mood which is more than the sum of its parts. I loved every moment of playing this - one of my favourites, for sure.

<<Rewind! by NIGIC 2013-08-30T17:41:00

I couldn't figure out how to get to the crowbar and the vent in one go! excellent mechanic, though, and a really fun and thoughtful experience. Nice music too.

10 Squared by Impmaster 2013-08-30T10:29:00

Oh yeah this is hard alright! Fun though, with nice trippy visuals and sounds. I would have liked a difficulty setting but otherwise this is a cool little game.

Royal Defenestrator by BasmanovDaniil 2013-08-29T14:27:00

Who knew defenestration could be such fun? I love the concept and the style. Art and music are spot on. Throwing things out of windows is great.

Chrono Blood Ninja by theholychicken 2013-08-30T10:08:00

So much fun! So much horrifying, blood-haemorrhaging fun! I really enjoyed this - an awesome mechanic with great intuitive controls and a lively pace. Just really entertaining.

I'd love to see an extended version with more interesting backdrops (although the current minimalist style works just fine too) and a less repetitive soundtrack. Perhaps more variety of enemies too. But those aren't criticisms, just suggestions in case you plan to take this further. I hope you do!

10 Seconds Before the World Ends by Lustdante 2013-08-29T14:40:00

Smart storytelling, excellent graphics and audio, smooth controls. Above all, an awesome premise and central mechanic. I liked this one a lot!

Mission Improbable by L0gicaL1nsanity 2013-08-27T16:03:00

375 388! Nice little runner, although as it gets faster it becomes more luck than skill because you can't see where you're going to land when you jump.

Sort It Out by vanderZwan 2013-08-27T15:16:00

I really like this. My initial impression was that it was overly confusing but I'm so glad that I stuck with it (and watched the video) because when I did get the hang of the controls I found it to be a really enjoyable and rewarding experience. An excellent, innovative mechanic!

Count To Ten by anotheryeti 2013-09-15T15:01:00

Very nice little game. This should be used as a compulsory training aid in all hospitals!

The graphics, music and 'voice-acting' created a really nice, quirky mood and the gameplay was perfectly pitched - not too easy but not too frustrating either. Excellent!

Hurry UP! by Sense 2013-08-30T14:02:00

Nice visuals and audio create a really lovely mood. I like the thoughtful nature of the platforming too. Could have done with a bit more variety but very enjoyable nonetheless.

Pressurized by Pickens Inc. 2013-08-30T12:09:00

A smart little game with a nice mechanic. Maybe a little more variety would be nice but I enjoyed playing this.

Entropy by Supercannon 2013-08-30T16:03:00

Really slick and polished gameplay. Everything about this worked and I had a lot of fun playing. Good job!

Ultimate Survival Lab by Reaperguy 2013-08-30T21:33:00

The visuals could maybe do with a bit of polish but the variety keeps this game fresh and makes for a very enjoyable experience. The music is great too.

Crazy Genetist by ratalaika 2013-08-30T12:50:00

I don't care when the media says, I love toying with the fabric of nature! This was a really nice, addictive little game. It could perhaps have done with some sort of tutorial level (for slow learners like me) but once I got the hang of it I really enjoyed it.

10 Seconds Match by Tavibo 2013-08-30T12:41:00

Such a shame that I can't open this because it looks like just my kind of thing... :( I do have an ATI graphics card, however. It just hangs when I try to open it.

QuickHunt by MvdLaar 2013-08-28T14:09:00

Loved everything about this and can't really fault it at all. In an expanded version, I'd love to see more dangerous animals and a system which allowed you to upgrade your weapons overnight. That's all it would take, I think, to make this into a game which I would pay to have on my ipad. Great work!

10 Seconds to leave by Caracole 2013-08-27T13:30:00

Atmospheric and cerebral, great work. Some appropriate audio would have gone a long way but I otherwise really enjoyed this.

Ten Sec to End by AnimaLocus 2013-08-30T19:41:00

Visuals and sound are nice, as are the smooth controls, but the game really needs a bit more variety or risk to the player to make it exciting. Still a fun experience though.

Cowdown by RevelBase 2013-09-15T14:12:00

Lovely aesthetic and mood. Graphics, sound and gameplay came together really well - I thoroughly enjoyed playing this.

TrI-Deca by futuristteletex 2013-09-02T10:32:00

Lots of fun with a really nice atmosphere! The smooth controls reminded me of Canabalt and I could see myself whiling away time with this on an ipad. Good work!

Lost in the Darkness by TobiasW 2013-09-02T10:56:00

Great idea! The simple visuals work well to create a mood (I especially loved the little eyes peering at you from the darkness) and the hot/cold audio mechanic is excellent. Everything in this game just meshes together really nicely to create a very satisfying experience. Good work!

The Lost Robos by almightyzentaco 2013-08-28T17:27:00

When I saw the title, I thought it would be cool if this were inspired by 'The Lost Vikings.' And I was right - it is cool! It's pretty awesome, in fact, with great level design and a nice aesthetic. I really enjoyed playing it.

DemoPhobia by xndr 2013-08-29T11:47:00

What a great concept! Simple but very satisfying to play. I can see this idea being expanded into a much larger and more varied game. Graphics and sound were nice too. Very enjoyable.

Oxy by hbocao 2013-08-30T09:03:00

Great idea, excellent smooth controls and really solid puzzle mechanics. Proper heart too, helped by the atmospheric music - I really felt concerned for poor Dave.

I was interested to read your thoughts on Construct 2. I used it myself because I have absolutely no programming experience but in your case I can see that it would probably be more trouble than it's worth.

Overall, a solid entry which was very enjoyable (and surprisingly moving) to play.

Back for Seconds by RobotParking 2013-08-27T22:37:00

Like an unholy mash-up of Burroughs and Jeff Noon, I really enjoyed reading this. The colour scheme lingers in the retina though... :)

Ghost Pirate's Ship of Treasures by immanuela 2013-09-08T12:48:00

Simple but beautifully judged platforming. The controls were smooth and the short levels were nicely balanced. It was very satisfying to plot a course and bounce through them.

Special mention to the excellent music.

Good work!

DeepField by loolpolo 2013-08-30T12:47:00

Lovely effects and atmosphere. Felt like I was taking part in some kind of primaeval chemical battle! That said, it does of course need a lot more polish and variety to be a really effective game. But I hope you persist with it - there is definite potential here!

Summer Death Olympics by bufbot 2013-08-27T23:01:00

Cute nostalgic style and fun simple gameplay. Just needs some computer controlled runners. Good work!

Raging Clue by aayars 2013-08-30T13:08:00

Haha, I liked this! The questions were right up my street and I really appreciated the overall vibe. Today I've learnt: Pulp Fiction references the number 5 a lot. As you said, who knew? Not me.

Great work.

Jeancloud by Pestodesign 2013-08-30T13:41:00

My high score was 174! Nice style, visuals and sound. The controls seemed slightly unresponsive at times and it was really frustrating to get stuck because of the clouds' shapes but I enjoyed this nonetheless. A smart little game which could easily be expanded into a really satisfying runner.

Adventure Company by Mark Venturelli 2013-09-04T21:10:00

Awesome! One of my favourites so far. The mechanic is perfectly balanced - not too tricky but just difficult enough to be really satisfying when you get it right. The style is great too.

My only complaint is one which others have already noted - it took me a long time to work out that I had to place all the attack cones to end my turn.

Overall, an excellent entry. I really enjoyed playing and hope a full game will come of this!

AEREO by manuq 2013-09-15T14:50:00

Lovely mood and visuals. With some simple sound effects and varied level design, this could be an excellent little game - I can imagine it doing very well on mobile devices. Anyway, I really enjoyed playing.

The Duellists by jay griffin 2013-08-27T15:26:00

My first thought for the compo was actually to use 'seconds' in this sense but I couldn't think of a way to do it. This, of course, is the way to do it! An excellent little game with great graphics and audio and a really satisfying duelling mechanic. Superb!

The Choice by matthewvermaak 2013-08-26T21:26:00

A thought-provoking experience, nicely communicated. I'm glad I tried this.

GO AWAY I'M EXPLODING by sirtetris 2013-08-26T16:23:00

Fun premise and some great little touches like the maniac grins of your fans and the spurts of blood. Good tricky level design too. One or two sounds (explosions particularly) would have been nice but I really enjoyed playing this.

Cloud Gazer by Simulacrum 2013-08-27T12:27:00

Haha, I'm always happy to unleash a bit of unspeakable evil on the world. This was fun.

The 10 (other) Seconds Journey by PaperBlurt 2013-08-30T15:55:00

Fun, quirky and thought-provoking. I breezed it on my second playthrough. :)

Granny Death - The 10 second buff game by Fluffy Tigers in the Sky 2013-08-27T18:50:00

Awesome artwork and satisfying gameplay. It just had a really nice crazy vibe to it - would be fun to see it expanded into a proper dungeon crawl. Good work!

Cosmic Commander by UnorthodoxGames 2013-08-27T23:08:00

Excellent idea, nicely executed. Would have been great if the view were zoomed out just a little. Anyway, I thoroughly enjoyed this!

Some kind of Evil Pink Stuff by fluffypillow 2013-08-30T20:33:00

I love the protagonist's little smiley rectangle head! Music is good too. A shame there aren't more levels as this looked to be shaping up nicely.

10 Seconds in Hell by AmyDee 2013-08-30T12:31:00

It might have come about through necessity but the use of simple labelled boxes for all the game's elements (including the antagonist) actually has the effect of reducing them to their essential functions, making the situation seem archetypal and timeless. It made for a powerful and thought-provoking experience.

If you expand this any more, I'd suggest adding an ending for people who pile things up against the door, which was my first instinct.

Great work.

10-Second Switch by oajfh 2013-08-29T18:46:00

Running Windows 8, I had a similar problem to the one described by Paul Sinnett above. There's probably something wrong at my end so I'll keep trying. I'd like to play this.

10-Second Switch by oajfh 2013-08-30T13:17:00

Works fine with the new .jar! Very enjoyable little shooter. It could have done with a bit more variety and I also agree with the comments about the colour of the bullets, but overall I found this to be a fun experience. The visuals and audio mesh together really nicely.

A AAA Aardvark Construction Co. by DantronLesotho 2013-08-26T20:17:00

There is a really nice idea behind this. It's just a shame that the theme wasn't 60 seconds as I think 10 makes things a little too rushed! Also, I would have liked it if the evaluation screen at the end didn't cover the playing area so I could compare the stats with what I've just built.

That said, I enjoyed this a good deal and could see it being expanded into a really neat game. Good work!

Adventures of Schrodinger's cat by Cryunreal 2013-08-27T22:57:00

Great concept and the art style is just beautiful. The gameplay is very satisfying too, if a little tricky at times (slides a little too much for my liking). Excellent work!

pastiche punk. by tigers 2013-08-30T14:37:00

The control switch really threw me, which was a good thing! Kept me on my toes and was very enjoyable. Great aesthetic and the audio in particular was very effective.

Time Slime Arena by TomCooper3D 2013-08-30T16:10:00

There is a lot of content in this and it's very nicely balanced. A really fun entry with a slick visual style (the background and lighting in particular). Good work!

Hourglass by DoubleS 2013-08-30T12:55:00

Gorgeous graphics and sound, creating a great atmosphere. The little protagonist was especially cool. I would have appreciated a way of disposing of some of the slower moving balls, but otherwise the game was smooth and fun.

Defuse in 10 seconds by archaeometrician 2013-08-27T23:13:00

Simple but fun. The audio really added a lot to the tension.

Twitchy Thrones by rpmoura 2013-08-26T21:51:00

I really liked this. A simple but clever concept and engaging gameplay. And your theme tune is awesome! :)

Hadean Rampage by Zephyr89 2013-08-29T13:59:00

I was really bad at this but I had a lot of fun nonetheless. It could be expanded, I think, into a really nice full game. I dig the old school atmosphere in particular.

The Clock's Curse by M.O.U 2013-08-30T14:34:00

I loved the Alice in Wonderland stylings - the visuals and sound are just awesome. The level design is neat too - a really fun little game.

Tense Conds by Afal 2013-08-28T22:54:00

Having rated yet because the web link doesn't seem to be working. :(

Tense Conds by Afal 2013-08-29T12:23:00

Okay, it worked this time. Man, that was hard going! And I don't even like mayonnaise... Nice concept and execution. I feel a little stronger now.

I only need ten more seconds by anserran 2013-08-26T16:14:00

This is one of my favourites so far. Really creative mechanic and I loved the challenging difficulty level. It seems simple at first but there is actually a good deal of strategy below the surface. Great work!

Notes on departure by kristoffer zetterberg 2013-09-08T13:04:00

Nice, poignant little vignette. I enjoyed sending a hurried message and I enjoyed receiving it too. Thanks!

40 in 10 by djbriandamage 2013-08-30T15:23:00

A little masterclass in mood and composition. The text is sharply written too. Nice!

Seasons by awesomesauce 2013-08-29T13:55:00

Lovely concept of changing seasons and I liked the way it tied into the game's mechanic. Nice clean art style too.

Mechanical Madness by Thermite 2013-08-30T21:28:00

Lovely variety of levels and mechanics. There is scope here for a really interesting expanded version, perhaps with some more interesting hazards and enemies. Good work!

Antidote by Antidote 2013-09-08T13:09:00

Superb! Very polished with great controls, visuals and sound. I thoroughly enjoyed playing this.

Don't Panic! by parrotlord 2013-08-30T18:28:00

Ha! Nice idea. :)

Ten Seconds to Death by CLdogs 2013-08-29T14:15:00

It's a shame the ram rider doesn't keep his mount in the game! This was a cool little experience - I managed to snag a friend to test it with me and we both enjoyed it. Me especially, because I kicked his ass. :)

Antipodist by Zap 2013-08-29T11:41:00

Brilliant! I've just spent more time than I care to admit playing this. It's really satisfying figuring out the best technique to use. And the physics feel really nice - I fancy trying it out in real life now (might end badly...). The visuals and audio give the whole thing a lot of charm. Top work!

Proletarian Ninja X by deepnight 2013-08-28T23:06:00

Wow. Everything about this is great.

Popping Bubbles by Fififox 2013-09-02T09:50:00

Plays perfectly on my ipad. I loved the idea and the dexterity-testing gameplay. Really nice clean look too. Great fun!

Anti-Grav Drive by bnhw 2013-08-28T13:29:00

Impressively smart and simple. I kept going back for one more try and found the controls to be pretty intuitive once you got the hang of them. Great idea, beautifully implemented.

ILLUSIOUS by Cell 2013-08-30T20:02:00

Nice mood, simple and thought-provoking vignette.

B.O.O.B.S Saves the Day by ananasblau 2013-08-30T10:43:00

Nice topical writing with a cool premise and a smart visual design. I'm not familiar with Dedalus - I'll have to look into it. Thanks for a fun read!

BLAM BLAM PLANET by ratking 2013-08-28T13:23:00

This was a lot of fun. Loved the weapons (black hole gun especially) and the variety kept things fresh and interesting. Excellent all round. Great work!

Every Ten Seconds A Kitten Drowns by matthias_zarzecki 2013-08-26T10:51:00

Really polished and enjoyable. Great work! I would have liked to be able to see how much money I had when I was in the shop but aside from that very minor quibble I loved this.

Decasecond International by qrunchmonkey 2013-08-29T11:34:00

This is way more fun than it has any right to be! I'm still playing it now. I love the concept and the slyly humorous execution. Thought-provoking and funny at the same time. I'm going to leave it running and see how far it goes. Great work!

Atomic Time Raiders by Colapsydo 2013-09-04T18:13:00

Beautifully polished game with lots of character in the little details. I really enjoyed the puzzling and the difficulty curve was spot on. Excellent work!

Castle Escape by naufr4g0 2013-09-08T12:40:00

Very cool game. I love the art, sounds and hardcore difficulty level. I wasn't a greedy player but even without the gold I couldn't get very far... Really had that 'one more go' factor, though.

Excellent work!

The Lonely Sentry by namrog84 2013-08-30T13:12:00

Good solid level design, atmospheric sounds and nicely responsive controls. I enjoyed playing this.

Ripcord by Andromatta 2013-08-30T15:59:00

Fun concept and a nice test of tying speed! I managed to get three endings.

John Q. Adamant by nddrylliog 2013-08-28T17:46:00

Oh this was great! Excellent quirky storyline and a really fun shooter to boot. I played as William Crawford because I've always wanted a ship made of cheese.

Coin Rush by lectvs 2013-08-29T20:22:00

Excellent game! This is pure fun. I've just played it for half an hour straight and I'm sure to come back to it again later. Graphics, sound, gameplay, everything is great. I can't find any fault here. Thanks for a very enjoyable experience!

10 Sec Hero by StabAlarash 2013-08-26T10:27:00

A really nice little game. The pace of the gentle puzzling mechanic is just right. Very enjoyable!

Turnip Archer by LastResortGames 2013-08-29T15:21:00

"And she never ate turnips again..." Ha! Nice simple mechanic and addictive gameplay. Could have done with a few more enemies for variety but I enjoyed playing this.

Basketball Shootout by Shackelford 2013-08-30T16:07:00

I could only make 5. :( Fun little game, though. The physics were really effective.

Hair Cop by PixelRebirth 2013-08-26T11:00:00

I loved the audio, graphics and gameplay. Really nice style and atmosphere! Embarrassingly, I couldn't work out how to get past the second level but I'm sure that's my problem not yours...

Water Closet by Angrycrow 2013-08-29T10:59:00

Tricky controls accurately reflect the many pitfalls of public toileting! I didn't really know what I was doing for much of the time but I had fun with this.

Orction House Panic by Dry Tree 2013-08-30T17:58:00

Clever premise; entertaining art, writing and voice acting; fun mechanic. This is just a great, good-natured bit of entertainment. Thanks!

The only one by JaJ 2013-08-29T15:05:00

Wonderful mood and great, genuinely emotive, storytelling. I felt a little stab of poignancy the first time the ring activated. Good work.

Project: "Explosion" by Simple Ghost 2013-08-30T15:18:00

Loved it! A rare set of top marks from me.

I personally think the slow-mo really made it. I loved the bullet-time effect of dodging through flying debris. I would have thought highly of this game if there had just been the one level but the extra thought that has gone into it makes it outstanding.

I really hope you're going to develop this further, perhaps tying it somehow to a story. There is great potential here.

KunoNoOni's Magical Star Saga by KunoNoOni 2013-08-30T10:53:00

The falling/jumping trick was neat. It took me a while to get used to because it's so counter-intuitive but that was part of the fun. This game was maybe a little too tricky for my old fingers but I enjoyed it a lot. Nice mood and general aesthetic.

GunJoust by Vic 2013-08-29T18:56:00

Awesome! Now I really want a full game involving robot knights. As for things I'd like to see in it - enhanced jousting including foot combat; quests to undertake against post-apocalyptic equivalents of giants, dragons and sorcerors; customisable shields, weaponry and steeds. Oh there is so much you could do with this!

For this version, I'd just echo the suggestion of allowing the player to turn around when the match is drawn, rather than having to restart.

Altogether, an excellent entry, pretty much faultless in all areas.

I'll Give You A Head Start by Tifu 2013-08-27T21:57:00

I thought this was a very accomplished game indeed for such a short timeframe. There was real tension and drama in the setup and execution.

I'm not sure why some people are saying it didn't make much use of the theme - that was the idea of the 10 second headstart as well as the running, right? I thought it was a clever concept which worked really well. I do agree that it could have used a faster pace, though. And a couple of carefully chosen sound effects would go a long way.

Anyway, it would be wrong to mark you down for that when this game is otherwise packed full of good content. Excellent work!

AGK 3000 by DevMax 2013-08-29T12:37:00

Hahaha, I loved this! Fun to play and funny too. A great concept, perfectly executed.

ROBOT PLANET by GeorgeBroussard 2013-08-29T20:45:00

Nice work! Cool art style and simple but strong mechanic. The need to make quick decisions really added to the tension, as did the panicky sound effects. The difficulty level was just about right too.

Lokopolis by Nik Sudan 2013-08-30T21:06:00

Some of the traps were pretty difficult to avoid which was frustrating at times but this was otherwise a really fun game with a nice atmosphere. The implacable cyclops made for a sinister enemy and the lighting helped a lot with the tension. The audio could perhaps benefit from being more intense to match. Good work!

Jackton Factory by Pitƶik4 2013-09-02T10:29:00

Nice concept! Just the right amount of characters and locations too - any more and it could have become confusing. I almost managed to sort everything out but had to check the youtube video to get the best ending (didn't think to shoot). 'Fix tie' was my favourite command!

Time Flies Straight by mrspeaker 2013-08-28T13:16:00

I will endorse this game even if Mr S will not. It may be, I think, my favourite experience of the competition so far. It certainly messed with my perception of time and space more than any of the others!

Stator Chronicle by Sergey Mohov 2013-08-31T11:33:00

Gorgeous visuals and music. One of the most atmospheric games I've played so far by a long way. I also like the storytelling mechanic although I have to say that by the time I was looking for four rotors I needed a little more to keep me going - maybe some new gameplay elements as I got further into the 'forest.'

LD30 — Connected Worlds

The Lion's Song by LeafThief 2014-08-27T16:02:00

This is the first full set of stars I've given this LD. I thought it was just an utterly beautiful game. Gorgeous artwork, elegant sound design, just enough interaction to really draw you into the conversation between the two characters. Above all, it was beautifully written. I especially liked the little period touches like Leos' sudden embarrassment at forgetting to ask her name.

A wonderful piece of work with a mood which will linger with me. Thank you!

Fluid Perspectives by Jezzamon 2014-08-26T17:50:00

This is absolutely beautiful! The music and artwork is lovely, the gameplay is very clever and perfectly judged, the understated story of opposites helping one another is gently poignant. Very polished entry, one of my favourites so far.

Connecting LD30 to the Real World by Will Edwards 2014-09-03T20:12:00

Great stuff! I much prefer finding games to rate through this method than Ludum Dare's own listings. Very creative idea with a slick interface. Thanks!

Mammoth Monkey Mole by ehtd 2014-09-13T14:10:00

That was a lot of fun! I did feel a little guilty for killing them so often though, especially when they trusted me! :)

Great audio and very satisfying puzzle mechanics. A little visual polish would have gone a long way but I do understand how hard that is within the time limit. There is more than enough fun here to make up for it, anyway. Great work!

Connected Sphere by mess110 2014-08-25T12:33:00

A really cool experience. The voiceover worked beautifully with the simplicity of the visuals. This would definitely bear expanding into something longer.

Intergalacticnet by divillysausages 2014-09-02T05:51:00

Great dialogue and mood. The music choice was spot on too. I was terrible at the actual gameplay but I thoroughly enjoyed it nonetheless. A very funny, entertaining entry!

Whiteout by primaerfunktion 2014-08-26T10:47:00

Certainly the best-looking and most atmospheric entry I've played so far. Really immersive. Great attention to detail as well. I'll be playing this again later and trying to find out a little more of the story...

Tribe of the Giant by MerlijnVH 2014-08-25T11:40:00

Gorgeous to look at and a really lovely concept. Hoovering up the little enemy dudes was a lot of fun, even if I wasn't very good at it. My only gripe is that I would have liked a little more audio feedback for the different events (eating, house being taken over etc.) but this is a superbly polished entry and a great take on the theme.

Boat/Mouth by PeteGrammarman 2014-08-26T07:20:00

This is a Thing of Beauty! Loved the quirkiness, the art style and the control system. Just needs a timer and some bouncy music. Really good fun!

Infiltrate to Elevate by DustyStylus 2014-08-26T15:13:00

A very interesting concept and great sound make for a really atmospheric game. I'd love to see it developed further.

Respire by Just_delete_it 2014-08-25T18:56:00

Beautiful. Music, visuals and gameplay all work well together to create a really powerful mood. I'd have liked maybe a few more radios to find, a few more things to discover along the way but that's not a gripe, that's just me saying that I wanted to stay in the experience for longer. Great work.

Lullaby by Mase 2014-08-27T20:05:00

Really lovely artwork and sound design. I just enjoyed exploring and soaking up the atmosphere. Great stuff.

Saturday Night Symbiosis by Pierrec 2014-08-26T13:29:00

Loved it. Really nicely sketched characters, a fun mechanic, well-chosen music, cute artwork and above all a lot of heart. I've played it through three times and I'll probably come back to it again later.

(My first party was mediocre, by the way, but I'm improving!)

Spejsbryggan by lightsoda 2014-08-29T08:47:00

Beautiful audio and lovely clean graphics. The gameplay itself was great if a little buggy at times. Also, I think a lot of the levels generated seemed to be impossible to complete (takes more than 30 to build the first bridge, for example)? Still, a fun experience with loads of potential.

Doggy Dialler by Lianne Booton 2014-08-26T09:19:00

Who knew repaying karmic debt was so much fun? Makes me want to go and accumulate some more. I loved the premise of this and the atmosphere was incredible - artwork, sound, the lot. A lot of depth and polish for a jam game too.

My only complaint (and this is a very subjective one) is that I had to look at the keypad while typing and so missed out on a lot of the awesome visuals. But this is my fault really for not being able to touch type...

Anyway, superb work. One of my favourites so far.

On the edge of Earth: 5000 by Hypnohustla 2014-08-25T12:14:00

Amazing. I'm more than a little in awe of this, as I am all of your games. Great atmosphere, visuals, music, the lot. I managed to rejuvenate the planet and the puzzles were pitched just right - I had to stop and think but didn't get too frustrated. Special mention for the cheating CPU and the floating stool! Top marks!

The Veiled World by panurge 2014-08-25T14:10:00

Thanks everyone!

I think I upped the twitch factor of the controls too far because I was playing the game so much yesterday that it became deceptively easy for me. If I do a post-jam version, I'll definitely bring them down again.

@mrspeaker - I was hoping someone would notice that! :)

The Veiled World by panurge 2014-08-26T11:23:00

@primaerfunktion - Hahaha. I could be sly and congratulate you on finding a secret gnome-levitating spell but the truth is I had no idea that would happen - I always use WASD to play. Thanks for giving me a laugh!

Ferryman by ashdnazg 2014-08-25T21:21:00

Fun idea, nicely executed. I loved the breaking news and the cookie clicker appeal of the gameplay. This could definitely be expanded into something bigger and more complex if you wanted to. I'd love to play a version with more control, more random events and tougher challenges. Nice work.

wrldDIVISION by orbitantlers 2014-08-26T07:50:00

Very interesting mechanics and a nice difficulty curve. Music and visuals pair really well together to create a strong mood. Very enjoyable!

Greener Grass by CogentInvalid 2014-08-26T07:56:00

Well my stress levels are through the roof but I really enjoyed myself at the same time! This is a great, panicky little platformer with just the right balance of difficulty to make you come back for more. I'm afraid to say that I didn't complete it but I felt sooooo close on occassion...

Graphics and sound are nice and the premise is cool and well connected to the theme. Good work!

Twin Bullets by KedumeBits 2014-08-25T12:47:00

Great concept and very satisfying to play. I noticed the same bug as others have but it didn't spoil the fun for me. Nice polished feel and strong soundtrack.

Flicker by PapaCheech 2014-09-02T05:46:00

Beautiful sounds and a really great concept - simple but elegant. Excellent work.

Floating Connections by Impmaster 2014-08-25T13:54:00

I think I got stuck on the same platform as Franklins Ghost - seemed a shame because I didn't know where I would be teleported to until I tried. Otherwise, a really cool little game. Nice mood and visuals - it would be interesting to see it expanded in the way you mentioned. Good work!

twone minds by Tonasz 2014-08-25T13:42:00

Good stuff, great mechanic and lots of fun to play. I was terrible at it but I enjoyed every moment regardless!

RGB Worlds by x1212 2014-08-25T13:39:00

A really nice little minimalist puzzler. The level design was well thought out and balanced. Good work.

RED Thread by NickZangus 2014-08-25T03:40:00

Wow, first game played this Ludum Dare and it's a corker! Beautiful concept, elegantly executed. I loved Balancitos so knew I would enjoy this. Great stuff!

Dare To Drive by Linusson 2014-08-27T18:41:00

Nice idea and the gameplay felt really tense. Some other racers would be great but I do understand the time constraints were a bit tight for this. I also felt maybe it could be a little more forgiving of driving off the track - perhaps a health bar or slowdown rather than an instant kill? Great fun though - I kept playing for quite a while to try to beat my time!

Linker by Stals 2014-09-13T13:46:00

Hit level 7 before getting repeatedly overwhelmed. :) I'm going to go back for another try in a bit.

Lovely clean graphics and sound with a really smart concept. Addictive and enjoyable to play. Good work!

Dreamonaut by hbocao 2014-08-27T07:04:00

A really nice story with a sweet ending. Gentle and effective. The art style was great and the action segments worked well. I'd love to see it expanded to give them a little more variety. Good work!

Tethernum by Eigen 2014-08-26T08:02:00

Nice interpretation of the theme with a good, clean look. Feels very polished already. Some gentle sound effects would be perfect.

The gameplay is hard but satisfying. I like a bit of brain exercise first thing in the morning and I really enjoyed this!

Visiting the Mushrooms by Ryan Melmoth 2014-08-25T12:25:00

I didn't know I liked exploring caves with bizarre ambient music until just now but I definitely do! This was just a really great experience. Love the art style and the sounds, they work together perfectly to create the mood.

Sinister by Joe Williamson 2014-08-29T12:08:00

Beautiful. Can't fault this on anything and so glad I played it. I'd love to see a longer game come from this.

HeShe by Manou 2014-08-25T14:59:00

Great graphics, sound, mood and mechanic. A really fun little platformer with a nice quirky vibe.

Nice to see another Construct 2 game too. :)

Yond by (Not) Ivano 2014-08-26T15:06:00

Very atmospheric. I love the style. The minimalist approach also feeds nicely into the gameplay - you're being asked to judge people based only on a rough 'portrait' allowing a guess at age and gender and a three word sentence. As I played I found myself agonising over lines like 'I'm not ill.' Does that mean she is ill and she's trying to hide it? Might she be contagious? How would the crowd respond if I shot her? Essentially, you allow the player to fill in all the gaps for themselves and try to read between the lines which makes for a very thought-provoking game. It wouldn't have been so effective if you'd made the mechanics more transparent. I had two riots before I worked out what would most rile the crowd.

Anyway, I loved it. Great work!

EBDA by capsizedmoose 2014-08-26T17:37:00

Very nice indeed. I loved the whole idea of bouncing around the galaxy jumping from planet to planet - such a cool premise. The shooting was well-handled too - combat felt appropriately twitchy and fun. Great stuff!

Linked by igoramendola 2014-08-29T08:39:00

Nice work. I couldn't do both at the same time but managed when I switched between the two. Cute graphics and story made for an enjoyable experience.

Cat planet by lorniebear 2014-09-03T20:37:00

A very cute and creative concept with fitting art and sound. The minigames are a lot of fun and provide some nice variety. Good work!

(By the way, it's great to see a father and daughter entering the jam together! I hope to do the same with my son one day.)

The Tree by Calciumtrice 2014-08-25T13:22:00

Great mechanics and lovely art style. With a bit of story, some sound and a final battle this would make an excellent full game. Very enjoyable!

Drink the Ink (Text Adventure) by TheExGenesis 2014-08-27T13:56:00

The first two games I scrabbled around desperately before giving in and drinking. On the third game, having realised the extent of my options, I closed the window on the game while my character was enjoying himself. That way I can imagine he's still there, hunched over happily for eternity...

Nice concept, great music and very strong atmosphere. I especially loved the personality you managed to inject into the scribe with those little animations.

HopSlide by managore 2014-08-28T21:12:00

Wow. This is just amazing. I haven't completed it yet but I'll be back later for more. Very clever, very creative, one of my favourites so far for sure.

Enduring Atlas by dickpoelen 2014-08-26T10:02:00

Great concept, excellent use of theme and a very strong mood. I really like this.

Salvation by 43iscoding 2014-08-26T09:39:00

Perfect use of theme, excellent intelligent gameplay. Loved it!

Zanlings Match - Connected Worlds by Franklin's Ghost 2014-08-25T14:02:00

The audio is so at odds with the dating show vibe that it gives the whole thing a weird otherworldly feel which is really nice. Quirky, funny and nicely stylised, I checked all three endings and would love to see this expanded.

Elyseus by Crocanti de Pollo 2014-08-29T08:51:00

Great concept and enjoyable - if slightly limited - combat. The art and audio worked really nicely too. Good work.

This Little Piggy... by InfectionTeam 2014-08-26T11:08:00

Mmm... That tasted good! They won't mess with my salad again.

Fun, surprising, playful, beautiful. Everything here worked perfectly. A great game.

Pipelines by xRubbermaid 2014-09-10T15:16:00

Nice clean presentation and a smart concept. I didn't find the instructions as unclear as some others seemed to and got the hang of it pretty quickly. I do think some sort of effect to show when a target planet is connected to the right colour would be good, however.

Unfortunately, my game crashed every time I completed a level which is how I knew I'd got it right each time!

Once Inside by TautNerve 2014-08-26T21:17:00

Wow. What a beautiful game. The first one this LD to make me stop and sit back from my keyboard. A genuinely moving and poetic story. Beautiful art and music. I'm so glad I played.

Exolink by stimpact 2014-08-25T11:23:00

Lovely slick presentation and a nicely balanced play mechanic. I'd love to see a version with an AI opponent and a few animations. Great work!

Azure by BubbleChien 2014-08-26T08:47:00

I don't really agree with most of the other comments. I thought this game worked beautifully and it's one of my favourite experiences of this LD so far.

The little sudoku puzzles were pretty self-explanatory and worked very well to give the game some structure. They were relatively easy to solve but not so easy that they didn't require a bit of thought - perfectly balanced to drive the game along without becoming frustrating.

The incentive for playing them, of course was the story. This was handled beautifully - mysterious and oddly touching. I only wish I'd had a bit more closure at the end. I finished all the totems but the last message left me expecting more. Did I miss something?

Visuals and music are great. Together with the day/night cycle they create real ambience.

Altogether, a thoroughly enjoyable experience. Thanks!

0730 by H03N 2014-08-26T08:10:00

I won't rate this yet because the jam isn't over so it might still be a work in progress. For me, it seems to have a game-breaking bug - every time I enter the nursing home, my character instantly walks off screen to the left and appears back in his room.

Loving the look and premise so I hope I get to play this later.

Intranet by bluemaroo3 2014-09-13T13:36:00

A very enjoyable and thought-provoking experience. Atmospheric and tightly written. I'm going back to try some different options now... (I couldn't bear to delete so I integrated, by the way - it was a really challenging and interesting decision to make.)

Fuga by Colapsydo 2014-08-25T17:28:00

Really lovely relaxing piece of work. The shuffling of resources is in itself a pleasant task and the discovery of new musical elements with each planet is just beautiful. Reminds me of all the links that used to be made in the 18th century between music and astronomy - harmony, the 'music of the spheres' etc. Anyway, great work.

Neanderthal Twins by RegularSlinky 2014-08-25T14:30:00

Frustrating but in a good way - I kept going back for one more try. I actually quite like the screenshake and everything else worked beautifully. Great visuals, sounds (although yes, a backing track would be awesome), gameplay and mood. Excellent!

ULTRA DEATHSTORM by Simplexcity 2014-08-28T12:42:00

Ultra Deathstorm is about as awesome as a title can get! :)

Really cool nostalgic feel to this - story, art, sound, the lot. Plus it was a heap of fun to play. Good work!

Thirteen by enderargent 2014-08-26T09:10:00

Very nice little game with an intriguing story and strong atmosphere. My only suggestions would be to increase the walk speed a little and allow players to pick things up straight after they've looked at them (the icons would disappear for me after I'd investigated something and I'd have to walk away then back again to interact with it).

Good work!

Alice by synchingfeeling 2014-08-29T12:12:00

Haha - great idea! I can't say it would be my favourite way to read a book though. ;)

The visuals and sounds make things feel appropriately panicky and I had a lot of fun playing. Thanks!

Dude Launch by smizmeal 2014-08-25T15:16:00

Very creative and intuitive control scheme. This could be expanded into a full game with a bit more story, obstacles etc. It's really fun as it is and there's something strangely beautiful about seeing a host of little naked dudes caught up between the moon and the sea - Calvino would have approved. :)

Mirror by lectvs 2014-09-09T19:18:00

Beautiful! You have a knack for taking a simple idea and tightening it to perfection (my LD entry this year actually took a lot of inspiration from 'Coin Rush').

My only criticism is that I wanted more (it does end at the pier, right?) but that's not really much of a criticism...

Art, sound, gameplay - all top-notch! A very atmospheric and enjoyable experience.

Sabotage Will Set Us Free by machine_screen 2014-08-25T17:49:00

Nice work. Lovely clean look and a simple but satisfying mechanic in the service of a strong message. I really liked it.

Lands 101 by thecatamites 2014-08-26T10:22:00

Pure play, I loved it. My favourite land was carpet land, I think. Wallpaper land was also hugely therapeutic (especially because that was one of my little worlds too but I always got told off for it). And in art land I surprised and slightly troubled myself by making a man do something sexy to a dinosaur.

Altogether, great stuff. Nostalgic and nice.

Arcaena by KunoNoOni 2014-08-27T07:15:00

I agree with some of the other comments saying it could do with a little more variety and skill in the actual fights, and I also would have liked to be able to hold down a key to move rather than tapping, but otherwise I really enjoyed this. The retro feel is nice and the premise is interesting and fun.

Intergalactic Delivery Services Corporation by sP0CkEr2 2014-09-13T14:02:00

Very nice, polished entry with fun puzzles. The 'wind-up' launching mechanic was fun too.

Only (very small ) bug I spotted was on level 4 - the list of resources held covers up the resources needed on one of the planets. Didn't really affect anything though as I could guess what must be there.

Altogether, a very enjoyable game!

Bacon Installer by badlydrawnrod 2014-09-03T20:29:00

I like nostalgia, I like bacon, I like alien abductions (so long as I'm not the abductee). In short, I liked this. A really cute, fun concept, nicely realised. Good stuff!

Dreamless by Dietrich Epp 2014-09-10T15:25:00

Really nicely planned puzzles and a lovely, mysterious mood. The challenge and the story were pitched just right to keep me playing. Good work!

See You Later, Gladiator by Devtactics 2014-08-27T07:41:00

Gets easier once the Americans wake up and come online! ;)

I still couldn't complete it though. Had a nice matador tactic going but once I got trapped against a wall it was all over. Got down to around 600 one time...

Very crafty idea nicely executed. The art style is lovely and clean. A few sounds would have gone a long way. Good work!

Space Gate Command by Tifu 2014-08-27T13:42:00

I like Stargate and I like X-Com so I am just about your target audience! All the ingredients are here for a very enjoyable turn-based game - stats, upgrades, tech, varied soldier and opponent types, random levels etc. I really enjoyed the missions I played (the little Jaffa and Goauld sprites are very cute, by the way!). The only thing needed now is polish - a few sounds in particular would have gone a long way.

DINO BOLT by GeorgeBroussard 2014-08-25T11:46:00

Loads of fun with a Flappy Bird style addiction factor. I loved the music and the little comments after you get caught. I played it for a long time but won't say my top score because it's embarrassing! :D

An excellent, polished entry.

Sender by toranoko 2014-08-26T08:54:00

Awesome graphics and a really nice crunchy feel to the combat. The little jellies are really cute until they start jumping all over you! Good work.

GuBer Taxi by mrspeaker 2014-08-25T13:32:00

Arrgh! I've always been terrible at lander games. Personal shortcomings aside, this was a lot of fun. I love the clean look and the music is awesome. A very stylish and polished entry, just as I knew it would be (I still have fond memories of Time Flies).

LD32 — An Unconventional Weapon

RELIC by CptDustmite 2015-05-09T15:25:00

Seemed to have some slight collision detection problems when jumping from moving objects? It's testament to how good this game is, however, that I persisted to the end despite that. Great writing, sound, visual design and atmosphere. I'd like to see what happens next!

Heist Time by YM 2015-04-22T19:42:00

Very nicely put-together game! I love the style and the difficulty level was spot on. I hope you keep working on this.

BED✰HOGG by 01010111 2015-05-05T19:55:00

Awesome! If bedtime were always like this I would never sleep. :D

Ring Retorter by zatyka 2015-04-25T14:04:00

Great job, really took me back to the Good Ole Days of playing Monkey Island on my Amiga. You even included that neat 'now use the same retorts in a different context' trick.

Graphics, audio and gameplay all complement each other very nicely and I enjoyed this a lot.

Quiver of Claws by Bensonance 2015-04-22T21:20:00

This is really polished. The bow mechanics are very satisfying and I love the whole style. One of my favourites so far for sure!

One of them by Pierrec 2015-04-27T16:50:00

Beautifully made and very thought-provoking. I'm usually wary of any art made to carry a message but here it's done so earnestly that I'll forgive you for manipulating my emotions!

And it is very clever manipulation of a sort that only a game could deliver. The simple act of selecting traits made me think a little more, invest a little more in the characters than I would have done had they been presented to me without any choice. The ending was far more poignant because of this.

The graphics are lovely and the music acts as a gentle counterpoint to the stark ending. Great work all round.

Get Off My Land by GarethIW 2015-04-21T19:59:00

Took me a few moments to get used to the controls but I had a lot of fun with this when I did. My favourite jam game so far. Loved the different animals (llamas!) and the gameplay was nicely balanced. Great presentation too.

By the way, the title of the game and the 'IW' in your name were enough to pique my interest... Really good to see some other caulkheads in gamedev! :)

Leaf Blower by phi 2015-05-09T15:03:00

Darkly satisfying and beautifully made. Loved it!

Kick it Hard! by f7f5 2015-04-22T20:32:00

Can I kick it? Yes I can! This was a lot of fun. Love the old school feel and the music sits well with the action. The kicking mechanic is simple but really satisfying and once I worked out how to head the ball I became pretty skilled at it. Nice work!

Nuke 'Em Ants by cmayhem 2015-05-04T12:10:00

Nice gameplay mechanic which could easily be expanded on in a full game. Lovely smooth controls and visuals too. It's a shame you didn't get to add sounds as I think a few effects would have gone a long way. Good work!

Geisterblut by nuprahtor 2015-04-22T19:20:00

I always like your games and this could be one of my favourites. I really hope you keep working on it - I do want to know what happens next! Fritz is a character deserving further development...

Anyway, great art, music and mood. The spinning targets on the ghosts were fun too.

Dueling Time, Sir! by HybridMind 2015-05-09T17:17:00

I really enjoyed my time with this. The writing, visuals are audio are first-rate and the gameplay has heaps of potential too. The only thing which let it down a little was the lack of feedback, both visual and audio, during the fights. I'm sure that would have been next on the list had you a little more time.

Anyway, a very funny and clever story wrapped around a polished game. Great work!

Special Agent by guoboism 2015-04-21T18:39:00

Lovely presentation and style. The puzzles were pitched nicely - just hard enough to make me think but not too frustrating. I really enjoyed playing.

Type Commander by Latency 2015-04-30T16:54:00

Excellent idea and the whole game has a really neat mood. I was dreadful at it though... :)

Zombie Rocket by Linkigi 2015-05-04T14:07:00

Aaah! my head hurts! :)

A really, great, mind-scrambling idea. I got pretty good at it with practice. For me, the best technique was to keep them both flying clockwise.

Very enjoyable!

Crayon Poke by Raiyumi 2015-05-08T16:39:00

Lovely game with a perfectly pitched difficulty curve, beautiful visuals and smooth controls. I really enjoyed playing this.

Poland space program by hate-marina 2015-04-29T19:48:00

Well I got Poland off the screen and it never came back. Now I feel kind of bad...

A very neat and funny little postcard!

Wizard's Bellow by Eigen 2015-04-27T17:38:00

Neat mechanic, seems simple to start with but there is actually a good deal of strategic depth here once you begin to figure out the best ways to maximise your spell use.

I played for much longer than I'd intended to. Great work!

The Best Policy by Empyrealhell 2015-05-05T18:18:00

A nice idea with interesting, thoughtful gameplay. I enjoyed playing, even if I did get beaten repeatedly by a child... :)

Your Opinion, Adventurer? by Ossi 2015-05-05T18:24:00

Took me a while to figure out exactly how the game mechanics were working. That's more my problem than yours however! And the neat text descriptions made it all worthwhile.

Monkey Business by colludium 2015-04-22T16:36:00

Nice control system, graphics, audio, learning curve and animations. Also, acrobatic pooping! Nothing to fault here. :)

Badass Inc by deepnight 2015-04-29T10:34:00

You hit the mood of the three influences you cite exactly. And add some badassery of your own! The story is darkly funny and I'd love to see more of the character.

Graphics and sound are just amazing for 48 hours, gameplay is great. One of my favourites so far for sure!

The Higgs' Gun by Jeasonfire 2015-04-22T17:14:00

A neat idea, nicely executed. The puzzle difficulty and learning curve was spot on. The tutorial text was really well presented and in later levels had a touch of portal about it. :)

With a little more polish (and less annoying music!), this could be made into a really satisfying full game.

Wild tales: enlightenment by psychonull 2015-05-02T12:42:00

Nice ideas and gameplay - these would work really well as part of a bigger, Warioware style game. Sound, graphics and presentation were excellent too. I was really bad at playing them but I had a blast!

Unconventional by vogon101 2015-04-21T18:28:00

Boom! Took a few goes but I destroyed the enemy empire. I would have liked to have found out what the 'unconventional weapon' was...

This is a really fun little game and it has an addictive balance of gameplay. With polish and extra enemy/tower types, this could be shaped into a very nice full game.

Super Recoil Gun by cleitoneldorn 2015-04-29T17:39:00

Fantastic work! Great controls and an awesome central mechanic. The difficulty is hard but never unfair - the player always knows it is their fault if they fail. It's also very satisfying to make progress.

The presentation is very solid too. An excellent entry!

Where Is Your Gun Now, Mr. Chekhov? by Mike Mezhenin 2015-05-08T19:18:00

Here's the winner for me - I loved everything about this! Ingenious, playful and beautifully made. I've given a rare set of full marks.

Battle of Tolzford by Franklin's Ghost 2015-04-24T19:02:00

Very well-written and funny! I loved the little epilogues and found myself nodding along sagely with the skull crusher... Word indeed.

Excellent graphics and audio too. Awesome work all round!

ClanFree by Daiwen 2015-04-22T19:25:00

A really neat mechanic - reminded me of the thingies that what's-his-name had in Guardians of the Galaxy (if you've seen the film, you'll know what I mean!). With a little polish, I think it would work really well as a combat mechanic in a full game.

The presentation was understandably rough around the edges but I do hope you'll keep working on this. The gameplay has real promise.

HoneyGuy by rallebauz 2015-04-21T15:47:00

I love the walk animation! This has got a nice bouncy feel and could have used some lively music to match the gameplay. Good goofy fun!

Hold Space To Fart by talecrafter 2015-04-22T17:37:00

Well that is an impressive bout of flatulence! I'm not a trained doctor but I would advise her to look carefully at her diet.

A really fun game with great graphics, sound and mood. Highlights for me included the little remarks which float off the visitors and the central painting which reminded me of something I can't quite put my finger on...

Holy Alien by Simaflux 2015-04-23T17:15:00

A really simple idea which works very well. Once I got the hang of it, I kept coming back for another go.

Maggie by Bergara 2015-05-06T21:13:00

Great mechanic! I would personally have liked more frequent checkpoints but this was a lot of fun in every regard.

PALBOT by Hot Box Games 2015-04-22T17:55:00

Wow, there's a lot of content in this. The story is presented really well and the controls, although slightly fiddly at first, are really intuitive when you get used to them. A very impressive entry!

Frazzle Dazzle by hexdie 2015-05-05T19:15:00

Amazing game, possibly even my favourite so far! Everything about this works beautifully and the level design is just outstanding. Top marks!

Protector Of The Shrine by maunovaha 2015-04-23T18:07:00

The controls could do with a little tweaking but this is a really fun game and you've hit the Ultima feel just right.

I made it to 1200 points which I think is pretty poor... :)

Catholic Apologetics Simulator by Kalman90Grape 2015-05-02T19:22:00

Great idea and I liked the need to seek answers outside the game (those who don't have a Bible can surely use the internet). It's a really interesting and thought-provoking approach.

I agree with some of the other players that it would have been nice to click on the links rather than type but that's a minor quibble.

Renfield Hearts Dracula by A-Flat Miner Studios 2015-04-21T15:40:00

Lovely moody gothic visuals and sound. The gameplay took a bit of figuring out but was all the more satisfying for that. Great fun!

Thanatos and the Cat God by jmf 2015-05-02T18:53:00

A very nice little game. Loved the sly take on its source material. :)

Controls and visuals worked well and the audio , though simple, was very effective. I enjoyed the final questions too!

SUPER BRO THROW by SinclairStrange 2015-05-06T21:20:00

Very polished with great graphics, audio and controls. I enjoyed every moment and the gibs were so beautiful that I didn't mind losing! One of my top games so far.

HipStar by dkdwrek 2015-05-10T18:52:00

Nice little game - simple but fun. The music got a little repetitive but that's my only gripe. I loved the crunchy SFX.

Deadly rain by Sublustris 2015-04-23T18:16:00

Excellent moody visuals and audio. The gameplay has the desired effect of making you feel really vulnerable and panicked. Good work!

An Unconventional Weapon by Rulrite 2015-05-10T18:46:00

Okay, that was great! Put a big smile on my face that even the ending couldn't wipe off. Great mood and style, a really enjoyable experience!

Project Pigeon by LimeniusTeam 2015-04-21T15:33:00

Great use of the theme, nice presentation and well-judged difficulty. This was a lot of fun (although maybe not for the pigeons...).

The unconventional weapon trader by Prowler 2015-04-22T18:00:00

Justin Bieber better watch out for that crocodile...

I has a lot of fun with this. Thanks!

Not Nice Knight by Nebulaic Toaster 2015-05-10T18:15:00

That knight is so mean! Except at the end when he wasn't. I enjoyed this a lot - lovely visuals and audio and some very funny writing. Great work!

Bar Fight by nihilaleph 2015-04-21T18:33:00

Took me a while to get used to the controls but once I did I was flinging banana like an old hand. Fun!

Tongue Lash by benjamck 2015-04-24T19:16:00

Fantastic atmosphere, audio and visuals. I never knew I'd enjoy stapling giant tongues to the ground until today! It's great to learn new things about yourself...

There is a lot of talent on display here. One of my favourite games so far.

Just my own two cents by NekuSoul 2015-04-22T17:27:00

My favourite entry so far by a country mile. Loved the art style and the puzzles were beautifully planned and really addictive. I couldn't stop playing until I'd completed it. Thanks for making such an enjoyable game!

The narrator is dyxleic by madflame991 2015-04-23T17:09:00

I love word puzzles and hadn't seen a mechanic like this before. Really good, clever fun!

The Rock the Paper and the Scissors by BIZM 2015-04-30T17:06:00

Fantastic! Can't really fault anything about this - I had a blast.

TOUCH MY POOBY by sxmn 2015-04-22T19:37:00

I'd never been asked to touch another man's pooby before so I wasn't sure if I'd like it or not. I'm happy to report, however, that I loved every minute of it! I should listen to my heart and my ass more often.

I thought this game might just be a quirky novelty but it was a genuinely fun experience with an excellent atmosphere all of its own. Thanks for making it!

Evil Cupido: Haters gonna hate by Pixel Heart 2015-04-22T17:04:00

I pwned this game! Took me a few tries but I enjoyed it all the way through. Not sure why so many people are finding it quite so difficult. Graphics are nice and the puzzles are pitched at just the right difficulty.

I went for a Cupid as the hero of my game too but I must say that yours is way a good deal more badass!

Mr. Whiskers by redding 2015-04-29T19:39:00

I saved the world! Neat.

Chemtrail Madness by zsoltbartok 2015-04-29T19:45:00

Fantastic idea and nice smooth controls. I got the hang of it pretty quickly and had a lot of fun. Good work!

Adaptation by Grahhhhh 2015-05-09T18:14:00

Very nice! Once I got used to the controls I found them to be very intuitive and effective. The presentation was great and the whole game feels really polished. Good work!

Hula Fighter by matt beckett 2015-04-29T19:30:00

I scored 46 before my fingers started freaking out. Contrary to how that might sound, I really enjoyed myself! Fantastic goofy gameplay, visuals and audio combine to make a fun game with a great mood. Thanks!

Fjuffy teh kloud by jordgubben 2015-04-22T17:45:00

Lovely style and control system. A bit of audio would have really made it.

Fun, funny and kind of relaxing to play. Thanks!

Kitten Defense by Archonthewizard 2015-05-09T15:08:00

Kittens are such badasses! This was a lot of fun to play.

Walkmask by nuuup 2015-05-09T17:07:00

Lovely aesthetic and a really neat concept.

I'd have liked some little bit of feedback when touching a character with a gift to make it clear that the act of giving was what moved the scene on as I didn't realise this at first.

Thoughtful and idiosyncratic - I like!

roadtrip by PlasmaErnst 2015-05-02T12:28:00

Neat premise and style. Would have really benefited from a few sound effects and an increasing difficulty level but I had fun playing. Good work!

Photo Fight! by garrisondarkwind 2015-05-01T18:19:00

Wonderful concept, I'd love to see it expanded into a full game (maybe some sort of goofy paparazzi sim!).

Graphics, sound and controls are all great. The style is frankly magnificent!

You stole some freezing device by FrozenCow 2015-04-21T19:26:00

I won! Took me a while to get the knack of using the freeze ray to slow myself down but I got pretty expert with it in the end. A really nice idea with a fun mood and slick controls.

LD35 — Shapeshift

windowframe by managore 2016-04-21T08:17:00

Very innovative mechanic and lovely mood. An impressive amount of content for the time limit. Great work!

Stone sacrifice by hadesfury 2016-04-19T17:23:00

Loved the way they sat patiently with their hats in their hands under the shadow - almost made me feel guilty! I thought this was beautifully presented with outstanding visuals. The gameplay itself could have used a little more conflict or variety to really keep me engaged. A very impressive and enjoyable effort nonetheless.

Shape Shifters Inc by roxflame 2016-04-20T18:39:00

A pretty accurate portrait of my working life so far, only I've yet to earn a crab hat...

Great sound effects and visuals. Awesome, goofy gameplay. A really funny and entertaining experience (together with an unexpected existentialist twist at the end!) - top marks from me.

gay vampire from outer space by Bendix 2016-04-19T13:20:00

I have awoken! As well as being a lot of fun to play, this game is a valuable and timely exposé of the reptilian overlords who control our destinies. Your mom is a very wise lady.

Speigas by mitkus 2016-04-19T09:16:00

Effective AI, simple and intuitive gameplay, nice visuals and music. Great work!

Zord's Dank Carpet by CryoGenesis 2016-04-19T08:42:00

Haha! This was a lot of good, clean, goofy fun! My own entry could almost be a companion piece to this - it shares the pursuing 'shadow' and has a similarly hapless protagonist.

Anyway, I enjoyed it a lot even if there is no chance whatsoever of me winning the Megaprize... Great graphics, sound, controls and mood.

Rude Bear Requiem by Alex Rose 2016-04-21T08:40:00

Great, now I have to get a priest in to exorcise my computer! Be aware that I will be sending you the bill...

Aside from the inconvenience of having my hard drive possessed, I thoroughly enjoyed this experience. Fantastic visuals, sound and atmosphere. Neat control scheme. Awesome twist. Hail!

Bee Gone by bobismijnnaam 2016-04-19T09:46:00

Lovely mechanic - once you get to grips with it, it feels really intuitive and satisfying. I played this for far longer than I'd expected and had a lot of fun. Only one very tiny suggestion - I would have liked the dead bees to look 'deader' somehow. :)

Awesome work - one of my favourites so far!

Shamanic Panic by panurge 2016-04-20T07:03:00

@abuzreq Yes, the spirit animal is completely random! I like your idea for the last level - I'd been planning something similar to ensure that you couldn't just fly through all of it but I didn't have time to put it in. And that's a good catch about the mystic balls - I forgot to give them any range limit. Thanks!

The Combinator by El Cabaro 2016-04-21T10:02:00

Man, I've always wanted to go back in time to screw around! Not only did this scratch that itch but it also had fun visuals and sound, a cool gameplay mechanic and an unexpectedly challenging difficulty level. Loved it!

Souleater by Crefossus 2016-05-02T10:34:00

I enjoyed this a lot. The minimalist graphics and the gorgeous audio combined very nicely to build a distinctive mood. I would happily have played a much longer game in this style.

The NPC comments were also handled well - sketching out an intriguing storyline in short, simple strokes, without interfering with the flow of the gameplay.

The story itself seemed a little arbitrary, especially the abrupt ending, but I understand that a gamejam like this constrains what you can do in that regard.

The actual shapeshifting was great - the flying squirrel power was very cool and enjoyable to use. Potential to build some great puzzles around abilities like this, especially if a few more forms were added.

Altogether, a really accomplished entry with heaps of potential. I really hope you expand this into something fuller - I'd genuinely love to play it.

Sculptor Simulator by agrdev 2016-04-19T07:51:00

Fun in a relaxed sort of way, I got sucked into this really quickly and played until I realised my bust was beyond saving! Great concept and mood. I only wish the sculpture itself could be placed a little further to the left so the guide picture didn't interfere with your view so much (unless I've missed a way of minimising it?).

Thanks for 10 minutes of contemplative fun! Very enjoyable.

Amoebattles by LevelUpJordan 2016-05-02T09:44:00

Awesome game! One of the best entries I've played for sheer, addictive fun! My only suggestion would be to use a different colour for the enemies or bullets as it can get a bit confusing at higher levels because they look (to me at least) a little too similar.

Otherwise, high marks all round - great visuals and audio, fantastic concept and polished gameplay. Good job!

Doodle Book Survival by CarlsonAndPeeters 2016-05-08T08:17:00

Great little game. Simple concept but heaps of fun to play (my top score was pushing 2500, by the way). The animations are especially nice - really distinctive and full of character. Good work!

Feather by runvs 2016-04-21T10:14:00

Nice, atmospheric little tale. I'd love to see where you could take it given more time.

Prince Charmless by Pietro Ferrantelli 2016-04-25T15:19:00

My favourite game of this LD so far! Hugely polished and heaps of fun to play. The dual mechanics worked well and complemented each other nicely. The sound effects, art and music were spot on. The whole thing just felt right! :)

I hope you continue to develop this - I can see it making a very successful mobile game.

Only one tiny quibble - I hit the same bug as some of the other players and found the screen wouldn't scroll up when it was supposed to (I was using Firefox).

Brutally Shifty Dance Crew by Franklin's Ghost 2016-04-20T19:20:00

Nice! I always like your stuff and this was no exception. Great aesthetic design and simple but enjoyable gameplay. I still got the moves. :)

Wood for the Trees by ratking 2016-04-19T19:56:00

Fantastic mood and an intriguing story, beautifully told. I'm just frustrated that I couldn't complete it (I think) - I got stuck after I found the 'figure' (trying to give no spoilers here!) and couldn't work out how to proceed.

Anyway, high marks all round. This is really good work.

Skywind Temple by Ogniok 2016-04-19T19:16:00

Lovely! Hugely polished with beautiful, intuitive controls. I can't really fault this one!

Werehunter by sadenly 2016-04-19T07:58:00

Excellent take on the theme and a really cool mechanic. The set-ups were very clever and I guessed all of the animals correctly except for the spider. I did have trouble figuring out which animal was best for killing them in one or two of the rounds though.

Altogether a really smart and enjoyable game!

Sheepshifter by merzlot 2016-04-19T08:10:00

The look and feel of this is incredible! Fantastic concept and great atmosphere. I did feel the actual gameplay could have done with something extra to keep me engaged past a couple of rounds but I really enjoyed playing nonetheless. Great work!

Shift that Shape! by Lagoe 2016-04-18T22:16:00

Solid concept and mood. Could have used some sort of twist to make it more than just a speed challenge but I did enjoy playing. The graphics actually felt really nice to me - I liked the colour scheme especially. Good work!

Quad Vector vs the Quantum Cats by madmarcel 2016-04-19T09:39:00

Those cats genuinely freaked me out a couple of times! Great presentation and interesting gameplay. The driving controls seemed slightly odd (turning at low speeds causes the car to stop?) but once I got the hang of it I did pretty well. Good work!

Goons by gogo199432 2016-04-19T11:14:00

Pure fun indeed! I played all 3 levels and had a blast. Nice art, sound and gameplay, very satisfying experience. My favourite object to use was the fan, I think. :)

gunshift by pixzleone 2016-04-18T21:28:00

Fun! I had to quit level 6 before I popped a blood vessel though... :) A really solid entry with some neat mechanics.

Shadow of the Red Hand by andyman404 2016-04-21T07:11:00

Awesome game - the innovative visuals and mechanics work so well together and the music also helps to build the mood. Sometimes the jumping seemed a little unresponsive but that's the only (very small) quibble I have with this. Top marks from me!

Pacifist Hill by wavertron 2016-04-19T09:23:00

Haha, awesome sound effects. :) There's a lot of charm here, despite the fact that the rectangular shield is possibly the worst invention ever! I had a lot of fun playing and I'm impressed by the variety you managed to squeeze in. Good work!

Beach Bods by Rulrite 2016-04-21T18:56:00

That's me ready for the summer! I had a lot of fun with this - it's a great concept with sharp execution. Graphics are nice and the audio is superb!

Can I beat a score of 15? Well I got 9. So no. :)

VHS WARS by goodbadokay 2016-04-19T19:00:00

Wow! Really good, solid fun. Perfectly balanced and genuinely addictive. Loved it.

The Night Shift by silkworm_sweatshop 2016-04-18T21:58:00

Loved the rant at the beginning! The 'Stop Smiling!' line made me laugh aloud. :)

Neat mechanics and gorgeous visuals/sound. Tricky gameplay too, without being too tough. Nice work!

Potion Laboratory Expert by Sébastien Bernery 2016-04-20T18:57:00

I won! Could have used a little more challenge but I enjoyed playing all the same. Gentle and entertaining. Also, I fulfilled a secret personal desire to be a beaver!

Barber Blues by Tijn 2016-04-21T09:40:00

If I'd known being a barber was this much fun, I'd have quit my job years ago!

Can't really fault any aspect of this game. I had a blast and picked up some styling tips along the way. :)

Potionshift by ekkiiiii 2016-04-25T18:55:00

The shapeshifting mechanic isn't just bolted on but really does make for a neat twist which alters the gameplay. I played this for way longer than expected and really enjoyed it. Nice presentation too. Good work!

The Esoteric Order of Shapeshifters by Somnium 2016-04-19T07:10:00

I love this! It does indeed seem pretty esoteric at first but as you get used to the rules it becomes really very satisfying to play. I'd love to see it expanded with a mode in which you fight against another wizard by changing your animal accordingly (but I do of course understand that time was a bit limited for this - you've done a lot of work here as it is!).

A very cool concept which really works. One of my favourites so far!

Shape Renegade by Kryptarchy 2016-04-19T08:27:00

Okay that was fun! Simple, sweet mechanics and a lovely crunchy feel. Very enjoyable!

Shapescape by AlexLamarche 2016-04-18T22:06:00

A neat little concept, presented in a very clean and polished way. I felt it needed some further twist to the gameplay to keep me engaged past a couple of tries, but it was a fun and strangely calming experience. :)

JaJa's Bizarre Transformer by reckhou 2016-04-19T12:49:00

I have to admit that I have no idea what the reference other players have mentioned is, but I certainly enjoyed this a lot! Great art style, awesome gameplay, fantastic overall mood and feel. My favourite entry so far!

Henkan Pachinko by AnaGF 2016-04-21T10:08:00

Really enjoyable - great mood and a simple but sweet concept. The difficulty curve of the puzzles was pitched just right. You could make a nice full game from this basis. Good work!

Starship Janitor by studdert249 2016-04-19T09:02:00

Fun and surprisingly strategic! You have to think about when to shoot just to delay enemies and when to move in with the net. Graphics and sound were nice and functional although a few animations would have gone a long way. Gameplay was tight!

The Professional Shapeshifter by DivineOmega 2016-04-19T06:41:00

I got the job! I'm glad I played for a second time and realised that you had a bank of questions rather than just one set. This was a really fun little experience - would be perfect with some more challenging difficulty levels. Great music too.

ShapeOff by MisterMortal 2016-04-21T09:48:00

Great visuals, sound and general mood. An interesting mechanic too. I would have liked a much wider variety of clues (and more emphasis on using them to guess the right shape) but I really enjoyed playing. Thanks!

Geometry Shift by aiden-deloryn 2016-04-19T09:30:00

Sometimes the simplest concepts can be the best! This was lots of fun - Smooth mechanics with a satisfying difficulty curve. Nice work! (Score: 250 twice!)

Shapeshifting Ice Hockey by LavWa 2016-04-18T21:48:00

Ha! I've always thought ice hockey could use a few more bears. :)

This was fun to play with potential for some interesting gameplay if all the shapeshift classes were implemented. The controls weren't immediately intuitive but I did get used to them.

I'm not quite sure how the bear helped me. Less vulnerable to being challenged?

Anyway, a fun and creative entry!

Reptile Politik by aegypticus 2016-04-18T15:26:00

I'm too embarrassed to post my high score but let's just say I barely hit double figures. :)

This is a smart, fun little game with a nice take on the theme. I really enjoyed playing!

The Door by Joanrelos 2016-04-19T19:25:00

A nice, playful little trip. Glad I took it!

Sumo Shape Shifters by brainybeard 2016-04-19T13:27:00

I can't fault this. I didn't know I wanted a game about sumo shapes until just now. Couldn't get four players but had a blast with three. Great graphics, perfect voice-overs (the sheer vitality and energy in your gruntwork is outstanding!) and slick gameplay.

Roger is my favourite.

Chrysalide by Pierre 2016-04-18T22:11:00

Once I figured out exactly what to do, I loved this. The music and visuals work exceedingly well together to make a really distinctive mood. Excellent!

Exhuman by Arvydas 2016-04-19T17:12:00

Slick presentation and heaps of content given the time. Impressive work! I found it initially very hard to get into but it became more and more satisfying as I unlocked new content. A very solid game!

Oops! My Dear is a Deer by Remdiky 2016-04-21T18:51:00

Excellent concept - I really can't wait for the post-comp version as I think there is a huge amount of potential here!

Sweet graphics, audio and controls. A really polished and fun entry!

ShapeShifters Escape by sxm1041 2016-04-21T08:57:00

Very neat, especially for your first game! The puzzles were well thought out with a nice difficulty curve. Even one or two sound effects would have gone a long way but it was very enjoyable nonetheless.

Space Pole And Monkey by kronosfere 2016-04-28T09:19:00

Haha that was fun! Love the very serious expression my little Sun Wukong has throughout. :)

The controls are really awkward but sometimes that's quite fun in itself, in an Octodaddy sort of way.

Altogether a very entertaining entry. Needs a little polish but has lots of charm.

Dreadwood by Le_Sarus 2016-04-19T08:03:00

Really solid mood and concept. The controls felt a little floaty and a few more animations would have gone a long way (even some simple up/down on the legs for walking) but I felt there was a lot of potential here. Some respawn points would be nice though!

Altogether a really nice and atmospheric little platformer. :)

Shape Shift Racer by kivlor 2016-04-18T22:26:00

Put me in mind of the great Spy Hunter right away. Thanks for the nostalgia trip!

Smooth and engaging gameplay although I did find myself wishing I could see a little more of the road ahead. Solid sound and visuals.

Mission: Decomposition by MurderPunch 2016-04-19T13:53:00

Nice! I didn't know maggots were so cute or so aggressive. :) Lovely atmosphere, great presentation and slick gameplay. Good work!

BlowRider: Legends by WojtaW 2016-04-20T18:45:00

Fun! I never did like gnomes anyway. :)

Really clever mechanic, smooth controls and lots of polish for the time limit. Good work!

Liborio the Shapemancer by MightyToastStudio 2016-04-21T09:10:00

Really enjoyed this. Nicely thought out puzzles with a neat mechanic. Beautiful visuals, music and mood too. I had a couple of problems with characters getting stuck against walls or in corners - I had to quit the first level at one point because I walked behind the girl as a cat and couldn't get out again - but nothing which really spoiled my enjoyment.

Great work!

Go Away, Zeus! by Crimson713 2016-05-09T17:27:00

Zeus was such a kinky old goat, wasn't he? I love the premise of this game even though I wasn't very effective at keeping him out of my marital arrangements... I did figure it out eventually though.

Art is functional (I'd be a hypocrite to criticise!) but with some very nice little touches. The sound effects were great!

Overall, a very fun and entertaining little game with heaps of character and humour. Good work!

Ball Blitz by Dante2001 2016-04-21T16:47:00

Fun! I spent way longer on this than I'd intended to. The only extra thing I would have liked is some little 'ghost' of my previous shot strength and angle to help guide me, a little like in Angry Birds. Great work, though!

Shapegrammer by APantaloni 2016-04-19T17:02:00

I was terrible at this but I enjoyed it all the same! The way the tangram reshuffles itself is really cool. Lovely presentation too, right down to the evil laugh when you lose! Great work.

Jugales by OrangePop 2016-04-19T06:53:00

Fantastic! Great take on the theme and really satisfying, almost therapeutic, gameplay. The visuals and sound set the mood perfectly and I passed quite a few happy minutes on this! It would work really nice as a minigame within an rpg, I think. Great work!

Do Robots Dream About Yoga? by MementoGames 2016-04-21T18:37:00

Dare accepted and promptly failed! This is one of those games, however, in which failure accounts for a lot of the fun. :)

Great idea, charmingly executed. The choice of music was perfect.

Morphlings by TomaszHajas 2016-04-19T13:35:00

It seems there's only one map of three available? I enjoyed it a lot though, very satisfying mechanics and good atmosphere. Potential for a much bigger game here.

The Other Woman by Nesferjo 2016-04-19T13:03:00

That was fantastic! What a great idea for a game, so many clever mechanics and possibilities in there. I'd truly love to see this fleshed out into a full game. :)

I just wrote in my previous review that I'd found my favourite game so far but now I need to update that! I loved everything about this - art, music, atmosphere and gameplay. Definitely 5 stars from me.

LD37 — One room

13 jellyfish by Four Quarters 2016-12-22T11:29:00

Excellent game, by far one of my favourite entries. The gameplay is paced and balanced beautifully and the style is superb. I played for a long time and loved every moment!

Defeat the Kraken by quentinus60 2016-12-19T10:31:00

Fun and challenging - I couldn't get through it on the higher difficulty levels so I dropped to easy to experience everything. The different mechanics were clever and required a good range of skills.

A little more feedback when you hit and get hit would have gone a long way.

Altogether, a fun and engaging little romp!

Domain by dobnarr 2016-12-22T11:48:00

Good stuff! I liked the premise very much ("This seems a pretty plausible future," I was thinking until the tanks rolled up!). The mechanics also worked well, with an impressive amount of new content as the levels progressed.

levelone by dietzribi 2016-12-30T20:02:00

Awesome! Can't fault anything about this. Very creative indeed. 'Single-handedly' got the biggest chuckle from me. :)

Dark room by cushycode 2016-12-13T14:16:00

Caught it! Fun concept and nice visuals. A little sound would have gone a long way, even if it were just footsteps and meowing. I appreciated the festive mood. :)

Shoot inside a room is DANGEROUS by Neowedge 2016-12-17T12:30:00

Shooting inside a room is indeed very dangerous. I like a game with a responsible message!

I had a lot of fun playing this. The gunplay is really very satisfying and I liked the way the weapons ramped up. The goofy sound and visuals add to the experience. Great work!

Rhythm Rink by shillingburg 2016-12-14T18:15:00

Looks and feels really nice. I can't pretend to have been much good at it but I enjoyed myself a lot!

KILLOBIT by bitslap 2016-12-13T20:18:00

Can... not... stop... playing... This is super hard and super fun. Fantastic aesthetic too. Nothing to fault here!

Last Pig Standing by HotByteDog 2016-12-18T09:21:00

A cool premise and a nice take on the theme. Multiple she-wolves! This is the part of the story we rarely get to hear...

Gameplay was fun and frantic although, as others have said, I would really have appreciated the ability to shoot while moving. After a few attempts, I made it to Wave 3 (just).

Altogether a very nice little game!

Steamjunk Racers Nine Thousand by mmason 2016-12-17T12:05:00

Took a while to get used to exactly how to operate the ship (especially given the delays) but once I did this was a lot of fun. Very nice use of the theme too!

Try, Get fried, Repeat by pagi 2016-12-13T19:04:00

Whew! That was tense and fun. I only just managed to beat 30 seconds but I had heaps of tries. Very addictive once you begin to understand the mechanics.

Agoraphobic by tylerraz 2016-12-13T19:10:00

A very good amount of content here, given the time frame, with hotzones, pickups and different stats all adding to the fun. Lots of quirky enemy types too, good stuff. I would have appreciated more feedback when you hit and get hit but that's a minor gripe really. Good work!

1 Room and 48 Hours by meg 2016-12-13T11:03:00

Really fun with a neat little mechanic. #345 was my best and I think I'm unlikely to top that in this compo! The addition of a hygiene was a nice touch. :)

Code Red by oultrox 2016-12-20T19:25:00

Excellent tight controls and nicely balanced gameplay. Graphics and sound are great too. Superbly polished game!

Nobi Sword by matthewpalaje 2016-12-13T11:32:00

Neat mechanic - a very nice base upon which you could build a full game by adding some variety to the combat, locations and enemies. I really enjoyed playing and beat all three levels.

Shit Happens by vrojman 2016-12-17T12:56:00

Nice little panic game. I liked the visuals, chilled soundtrack and general concept. The plunger animation was especially nice. :)

Unfortunately there still seem to be quite a few bugs. I found my character hopping about the screen a bit on certain animations until he finally got stuck at the left-hand side and I couldn't get him back. Great fun while it lasted though!

Consume Room by BallingerBallingerandBallingers 2016-12-19T11:18:00

Great concept and a clever mechanic! Visuals and audio were very solid too. A really nice game!

One Room Cat by gtacker 2016-12-13T11:11:00

I won't rate this for now as it doesn't seem to work properly for me but hopefully I'll come back and do so later if it gets fixed. I seem to have the same problem as the other commenter - the cat jumps the wall towards the dancers and is teleported to another area from where it can do nothing but return to the first room.

Really hope I get the chance to play properly - visuals, music and mood are excellent.

SPAB by Spab 2016-12-13T16:47:00

I'd forgotten how confusing I find isometric key controls! That's my problem though - this is an awesome little game with very neat mechanics and a lovely mood. Really enjoyed it.

Conștiență by Uliana Galich 2016-12-17T12:45:00

Nicely chosen objects/descriptions and good pacing make for an especially poignant ending. There seemed to be a few slight bugs in the object selection but the gorgeous aesthetics more than made up for them. Loved it!

Mechaxolotl Rampage by TeamAxolotl 2016-12-19T11:04:00

19,251!!! My favourite so far this jam, I think. Loved the mechanics, the visuals, the audio, the premise. The whole thing was very polished and very enjoyable to play. Thanks!

General Room by jeroenwimmers 2016-12-14T17:43:00

Can't fault anything about this! Perfect mood and excellent, innovative gameplay. I expect to be playing this on my tablet sometime in 2017. :)

Where is the room? by Thijs Tak 2016-12-22T11:33:00

Good control system and nice, varied mechanics. Loved the intro too! It took me a while to get the hang of it but I had fun when I did!

The Chinese Room by Pierrec 2016-12-14T18:11:00

You know I'm predisposed to like your games but this may be my favourite yet, in concept at least. I really hope you expand on it in the future - the idea is so cool and (as is not often the case with cool ideas...) it really works in terms of gameplay too! Story, visuals, sound, all spot on. Top Marks!

(I couldn't complete it, by the way, but will definitely be returning to it later.)

The Lock by fullmontis 2016-12-13T11:54:00

Loved it! A really nicely thought-out puzzle - I couldn't leave until I'd completed it and found the poignant secret letter too (had been wondering what that was in the bottom right...). Great work!

Humanity Walks Into a Bar by Lipedal 2016-12-20T11:00:00

Lovely art and mood, also a great take on the theme. I wasn't bothered by the lack of things to do and I was kept interested trying to figure out the rules which governed their interactions. A great entry - very polished and enjoyable!

Xenopunch by Pietro Ferrantelli 2016-12-17T11:56:00

Like some of the other commenters, I would have appreciated a gamepad option but apart from that this is awesome! The amount of polish throughout is very impressive - great graphics, audio and general design. The gameplay itself is satisfyingly crunchy and the difficulty curve is spot on. I played for a long time and enjoyed every moment. Thanks!

Five Star Hotel by paradxil 2016-12-13T16:56:00

I seem to have lost all feeling in my left hand! That was a very hectic experience but a lot of fun too. I like the mechanic and the clean visual style. Good work!

Feather Gladiator by Garris 2016-12-17T12:17:00

Simple and sweet. Neat mechanics and an enjoyable style. I liked it!

sweet dreams... by Jan Peter (jpdev) 2016-12-17T12:01:00

I'm not usually bothered by spiders but this did make my skin crawl a little... I assume that's what you intended so well done! It got genuinely tense as the spiders started reaching the bed.

Overall a great entry - look and sound are atmospheric, shooting mechanic is nicely balanced. Well done!

RoomOne by Geckoo1337 2016-12-17T12:20:00

Gorgeous visuals and sound. The environment had a genuinely vertiginous feel to it and the jumping controls were just right.

I'm afraid I didn't mange to complete it but I did watch the vid!

Excellent work. :)

Huge & Cute by michidk 2016-12-13T20:25:00

A lovely idea, beautifully executed. Even the simplest sounds would have gone a long way, I think, but the gorgeous visuals made up for that.

Room One by Yamzho 2016-12-19T11:15:00

Nice idea and good use of the theme. There's a surprising amount of content here but I felt it needed a few more random events (preferably with options for handling them, like the TV repair one) to add more of a skill element to the gameplay.

Still, a fun experience with nice visuals. Good work!

Fancy Goldfish by A-Flat Miner Studios 2016-12-14T20:38:00

I consider myself to be pretty fancy but this fish takes it to a whole nother level! Beautiful visuals and audio. A surprisingly relaxing experience considering I was getting flushed down a s*****r every few seconds.

At a slower pace, I would have something like this sitting in a little permanent window in the corner of my desktop...

Loved it!

Porno Tales: part 1 (Warning: NSFW!!!) by Sublustris 2016-12-13T11:18:00

Very tricky game but it's amazing how the promise of a pixelated sex scene will keep me playing... Music had a nice bouncy charm and the gameplay was just the right amount of frustrating.

Tehos : Rebirth by Atmog 2016-12-19T13:54:00

Really fun! Played for way longer than I'd intended and got to level 15 or so. My only gripe is that the ability upgrades didn't seem to do much?

Fantastic balance and quite a lot of strategic depth once you get the hang of it. Great work!

Elevator staff simulator 1932 by jordgubben 2016-12-18T09:12:00

Excellent writing, subtle and precise with little flashes of humour and poignancy. A very enjoyable experience and a great take on the theme.

Nothing to fault here other than to ask if it would have killed you to put a few little elevator 'dings' in there. :D

Great audio and visual design, nicely atmospheric! I think I perhaps got as far as was possible but I'm not sure - I turned the computer on but couldn't figure out the password. It certainly has potential and I'd be interested to play the full game if and when you finish it.

Gorgeous visuals and mood - by far the best atmosphere I've encountered so far. There's also something very satisfying about the monster-zapping and the light sources dispelling the dark nightmares was a nice touch. Good use of the theme too. The only disappointment was that it seemed to just freeze at the end. Anyway, great work!

Your first room by Naca 2016-12-22T12:20:00

Cute and creative! Not sure why some players would find this inappropriate or disturbing. When I read those views I prepared myself to encounter some sort of strong statement on abortion or infant mortality but instead I find a gentle rumination on one of the most natural processes in the world. Good work!

The One Room Experiment by Siegfried Croes 2016-12-14T20:48:00

Awesome visuals and animations. A really clever use of the theme too. Gameplay is tight and satisfying, some of the jumping puzzles were especially neat. Great work!

Escape from Man Cave by Treborginho 2016-12-19T10:55:00

Great use of the theme, unusual and highly entertaining gameplay, fantastic atmosphere.

On my first go I didn't notice the floating box over the computer and just looked at it directly while spamming keys and trying to figure out why the vids kept changing. Needless to say, I freaked out a little when the door opened!

On my second go, I got the hang of it and completed the game. I even managed to do it without resorting to the internet. :)

White Room by MementoGames 2016-12-22T11:38:00

Okay, I was terrible at this! I kept forgetting which key was which colour and getting confused between the next ball colour and the colour of my gun etc. There's quite a lot to take in and I don't do well under pressure!

However, that's all my problem, not yours. :) I did have fun playing and I really admired the concept, the controls and the style. Great work!

Ha! That is one sprightly butler! Loved the gameplay and atmosphere of this - very amusing and enjoyable. Soundtrack was spot-on too!

Haha, this is hilariously good fun! Such a simple mechanic but so joyously frustrating to play! I'm a teacher myself and I have to say that this is a pretty accurate simulation... :)

Great work!
