Very calm, simple platforming with no real bugs that I can see.
Well... As a story the is place great. However as a game it fails on the fun front. ;)
A very good title, the only problem ... I suck at puzzle games. However one thing I can see is that this is going to go far.The place really has the sense of a place to collect your thoughts and think.

One of the better uses of theme I've seen. Also the sound was rather good. My only problem was that the lines were rather alised . Some AA there wouldn't hurt.
This i not an innovative game, not by any stretch of the imagination. However it is well executed, and rather fun. I tried to see who could get the highest score among my friends, and it killed more time than my shooter!

Time doesn't reset between levels.
However apart from that there are some more problems. Overall your game was rathe poor in the whole graphics/audio department. This is really killing it's mood. Using the default UI skin the comes with unity GUI doesn't help either. However I found your use of the theme refreshing on paper, this did not translate into a fun game though. The reason was that even with the character walking so slowly I still couldn't see what was coming up in time.

Just for the laughs(also the bullets arnt killing things).
This is the first game I've seen so far that has humor nailed.
Hell, this game is hard. Brilliant use of the theme though.Maybe I should try it on easy? Also mars has an atmosphere, so you can realistically add some background ambiance. Wind maybe?
Give me some feedback. It feels like it is disappearing under my mouse. It isn't, but that is what it feels like.

Game get's stuck on loading
The amount of things that can happen in this game is awesome! eg. Runs in front of car. Car spins out of control following me. I walk into another cars side. first car hits me. Explosion!

Nice, my only comment is that the destroyed asteroid sound effect was a little ear-bleedy. Might want to try a high-pass filter to about 15Khz

The mining levels are kinda fun, however the fighter level really let it down. They move far too fast.
Very good, but some ambient sound would make your game a lot more appealing.
Currently the background silence is killing it, even some noise would do, just make it subtle.
Nice! That is a really good useage of the theme there. You gfx style is simple but charming. The sound is really good at breaking up what otherwise would have been boring. So overall good job!

Wow. That was the best story in a ludum dare game I've seen. I wish i could give 10 stars for the mood, perfect! Nice theme use " this creature has a gestation time of 10 seconds ".
This is one of those ideas the sound awesome but however when it comes down to it it breaks down. The reason is that when I finally get used to a gun It changes wildly.

As a platformer it is rather good, however your use of the theme is rather generic. Although, my game is based on the same principle. Overall your mood is nice and cheery.
Nice gun model. Also you need to break up the tiling more, did you take those with a camera by the way?

1) The mouse sensitivity is far too slow, what is that gun made of ?
2) Your terrain has some strange waving texture effect on it.

Being text-based I can't really give a good gfx rating, but the rest of it works fine.

The sound works fine in chrome. Or is there supposed to be other music? Also this is one of those "Hard to learn, Simple to master" games where if you get how to play, you become very good at it.
I have a feeling that you arn't going to get that many ratings only having support for the xbox.
This is one of the better games i've seen in this contest. However one or to things stand to mind. The gunshots are far too loud. Head-shots are apparently the way to end everything as the AI is far too slow for anything else. Also when he AI does wizen up it kills with no exceptions.However I'm currently on my third play-though, so it's still awesome.

More games need a Quantum Superposition Button. :) However if you made the cats collision box a bit smaller it might "feel" a bit more responsive.

I use unity almost exclusively, but I did try other engines like UDK and CryENGINE. For things like ludum dare (speed events, game jams and the like) it by far is the better contender and let's you do things your way.
>Positives
1) Vast amounts of control. (don't like the interface, change it!)
2) Ease of use. (For programmers unity is one of the better engines)
3) Asset Pipline (Dear god this is good. Save your file in photoshop/maya unity auto-imports! It also can read most native file formats like .blend, .3ds as well as the usual ones).
4) Many programming languages(Unityscript,C#,Boo).
>Disadvantages
1) Bad out of the box rendering (No lighing presets, hdr is disabled, no post-process, however don't panic Advatage 1 comes in here also with custom shaders!).
2) Free version is rather limited with only one shadow-casting directional light.
3) Bad rep(think slender, slender clone #1 - 100).
Also I am using unity free.
They spawn right next to you. Also will do a small tut on my game to ease the confusion. Now to rate more games
for the unity window just zoom out.
Thank you did you find any secrets? Those are the real way to play. Actively look out for them and the game will be tonnes easier. I will be doing a small playthrough my game later and you can see if you missed one.
JUST FOUND A GAME BRAKING BUG WHERE YOU CAN HAVE NEGATIVE BULLET-TIME! just going to fix it. Just shows how little bullet time I use ! ;)

Also, your game was the only one that I consistantly found myself going back and saying "One more level"!

The sense of speed in this game is very good. In-fact the whole game is rather well-done. The only problem that I can see is,that while it is well implemented, your design is a bit lacking.
Please make a mac build as from your screen shot it does look rather good.

Is this a compo entry? As that looks like a unity standard asset skybox.
The graphics for me were spoilt by the use of a standard assets skybox. Also your lighting is all in the gray-scale. If you had made the sun bluer to match the sky it would have looked better. Apart from that great game!
If you are using default assets then you should be in the jam and not the compo.
Skyboxes are not exempt assets. Only fonts and some musical assets are.
This game is great at making you think. Also the theme is being used in a rather generic (ie. as a timer) fashion.
Also you might want to turn down the shield's health.

Why oh why are there so many keys? It's not like its rocket science, is it?
The wall-jump is nice once you get the hang of it, however maybe if you let the player stick to the for a brief period of time (0.02s or something like that) then the problems should be easier.
Overall this game had a great mood to it. However there was one small problem . Your spider texture should be set to clamp not to repeat.

Ok currently this is taking up space in the default catagory. So I'm sending it back 'till you delete it.
The project isn't working on Mac osx,I have Java installed.
I really suck at being a detective. Also after 3 or 4 good attempts I found that clicking every box in frustration at the beginning didn't work. So I have to ask, how did you decide who did it?

My only real problem with the game was the lack of consistency between the input methods. Having to switch between click to place and drag and drop kinda broke my flow. Also I could be that I just suck.

Those controls are very slippery. While I get that you need some weight to the character, it currently feels like you walking on ice.

I have to be impressed that you did this all by yourself in this time period. The best I could do is make pixel art.
This game is too funny. However I did find find that some of the text didn't fit the screen on my MBP.
I don't know how you handled collisions, but there are better ways to do it. Also there is a sharp difficulty spike at level 3.
About the background. It is supposed to slightly distracting. If it is too high then I might tone it down a bit. Also just realized about the restart thing. I'm calling it a game breaking bug as you might get stuck forever.
