LD30 — Connected Worlds

Switchboard Connection by Scott Baker 2014-08-28T02:14:00

Good use of the theme. It would be fun if you could connect the wrong people or eavesdrop on their conversations :)

Multifaceted by Riley Adams 2014-09-04T23:42:00

Woah! This was extremely good and deserves much more attention. I had a lot of fun playing it. The point system (the rewards for near misses, variety, thinking with portals, etc.) is great fun from the player point of view. Nice art/music assets as well.

If you added a few more portal levels and obstacles/challenges to up the difficulty (even faster rotation/speed) this is the kind of thing people might pay for :)

Holodeck Adventures by rejooh 2014-08-27T00:47:00

Super cute game. I'm a Star Trek fan so I got all the references ;) I will say, though, it was hard to find the rope.

Planetbeam Z by Dzarg 2014-09-04T23:13:00

Great use of typing -- it is an underrated mechanic. It's a bit short, but its still a very fun and stylish game.

Noah's Hoover by Nisshoku 2014-09-10T23:50:00

Great concept and execution. I really appreciated the different mode/levels (tutorial, showcase, etc). Of course, the art is excellent and charming -- it adds a lot to it.

Also, I love beaming animals into space -- that never gets old!

Bump Da World by belva1234 2014-08-26T23:08:00

Nice art and good idea. One feature to add would be restart without restarting the browser :)

Constellation by nxT 2014-08-26T22:44:00

It was a little confusing at first (took a little while to figure out what to do), but it was good after that. Something to check out for is when the planet hover text goes off screen, you could shift it up/over. I like the names of the planets. Nice game!

Tethernum by Eigen 2014-09-04T23:32:00

Brilliant, fun, and crazy hard.

Connected Worlds Defender by pcmccull 2014-08-27T00:21:00

Very fun. I enjoyed the resource managing, but the crazy shooting/explosions during fights was the best.

Acting Outcome by granut100 2014-08-26T23:05:00

The little guy got stuck once :( Cute art / clever idea.

System Harvest by 03gramat 2014-09-11T21:27:00

Stylish game. The resource management is a bit tricky and confusing at first, but that's to be expected.

Also, this is probably the best looking interplanetary resource game I've seen so far this compo :)

Midgord Vikings by sandbaydev 2014-09-04T23:57:00

Amazing art style. It's a pretty fun resource management. Best way to improve it would probably be to add an ending 'event' besides time running out. How about: Ragnarok!! That would be appropriate :)

Groups of Seven by 7Soul 2014-08-26T23:26:00

Wow! That was fun and actually had great progression to this. Great, great idea. You could turn this into a fun mobile game :)

Course Collision by rRootagea 2014-08-29T02:12:00

Clever mechanic and fun game -- I wish I was as good as the AI!

Galactic Bonding by alvarop 2014-09-05T00:04:00

The main mechanic is clever. It could be extended to have levels where each new level introduces a new "dad" expression. I imagine it would be really hard past 6 or so.

Charming game!

Tough Love Machine by intmain 2014-08-26T22:23:00

Good puzzles. Surprisingly hard, but very fun! The simplicity/friendliness of the style is really nice -- it stops you from getting mad at it.

Negative Space by ClutchNachos 2014-08-26T23:52:00

Ha, nice, who doesn't love a cliche ending! Overall good game. I didn't have any issues besides the slow movement.

Astral Crossroads by zdonkeyx 2014-08-28T02:06:00

This is excellent. Beautiful art style and fun game mechanics. I'd like to see more :)

The Circle Of Life by Tom Snively 2014-08-27T01:55:00

The sounds man... the sounds... (very funny game!)

I like the progression and use of the theme.

Disconnect by Colthor 2014-09-04T23:00:00

Really, really great game. I had as much fun failing as I did arranging the ship. Love the spaceonaut dude -- he valiantly gave his life many times.

Azure by BubbleChien 2014-09-04T23:28:00

Beautiful art and nice atmosphere. I found the messages in the bottle to be a little unclear, but I really liked the sudoku-type puzzle solving.

Co-uple by martim00 2014-09-11T21:39:00

Nicely polished game and fun puzzles. Reminds me a little of "Block Dude," an old game that was on calculators -- but with teleporting blocks. The art, animation, and music all really add to the game.

I used HaxeFlixel in my game, too :)

Styx by alpha_rats 2014-08-26T23:29:00

Nice art and style. Who doesn't want to shoot lasers to blast skulls across the river Styx?

LudumShudum by oogaboogacaveman 2014-09-05T00:11:00

Good and fun central mechanic.

Galactic Planet Wrangler by ATesh 2014-08-27T02:24:00

HILARIOUS. Great art style, great game.

Phil and Charlie's Adventure by LesInk 2014-08-28T02:22:00

Haha, the falling through space is the best part :)

Space Ace by Nyruk 2014-08-29T02:04:00

Great to see a typing game! It is an underrated game mechanic.

This was fun and harder than it first looked :)

Clashing Galaxies by lkr 2014-08-29T01:59:00

Wow, this had a challenging learning curve, but the easy game mode helped learn. Amazing you made an entire 4x game here :)

Now make a 3+ player version!

SpellChain by Riocide 2014-09-11T21:45:00

Very original and fun game. I think the best strategy is to spread out along the corners and watch out for areas with no vowels!

Supreme Tower Racing by Rex Peppers 2014-08-27T02:04:00

Funny character art! The biggest challenge was of course the sliding. I also like that you included a credits level.

Spayce! by torcado 2014-08-26T23:39:00

Beautiful and surreal. Had no idea what was going on at first, but I ultimately connected worlds :)

Delirium by Atridas 2014-08-27T00:30:00

Ha, this cracked me up. I like that you embraced your chosen surreal art style.

Intergalactic Delivery Services Corporation by sP0CkEr2 2014-08-28T02:27:00

Very good use of gravity / trading among planets. I didn't have any trouble with the UI. The levels were fun, too!

Aurum by Ralkarin 2014-08-27T02:11:00

Hey, I won! I like the incremental nature of the game. Nice idea.
