This was a neat entry, I liked the interaction involved. I feel like extra clues in the room (like movie posters for the movies with the years on the) would go a long way

Cool and original game. Does one thing and does it well.
Nice to use all those movie trailers. It was actually quite a bit of wikipedia-ing to find all the answers.

Creative and unique game. It has an interesting tone and atmosphere. The cons is that the clips loads pretty slowly, and that i managed to get stuck on top of the box in the corner.

This is a great entry. I would just silence the ambient ding - dong - ding sound though. at least while watching the movies :D

This is an awesome game, and I've never seen anything quite like it before.

I'm really impressed by this. Its a really great idea to implement for the compo and nicely done. It took me an embarrassingly large amount of time to realize a movie was playing so I was doing it by sound looking at the computer screen LOL. I'm glad its quite forgiving as I made a few mistakes too and I didn't want it to reset to 0. Anyway thanks and best of luck. -RS

Pros:
Very cool idea and I'm impressed you got the videos loading. I laughed when I lost the first time. Didn't see that ending coming!

COns:
Too much headbob on the camera. Also I would like to walk faster.

Interesting game concept, I enjoyed it although I found myself actually just watching the movie clips because I've actually never seen these movies. The 'game over' ending was hilarious :) I would have liked to have a little more interaction or clues from around the room, but overall it was enjoyable. Good job :)

The question on King Kong gave me two answers of "2005" and the one I picked was wrong somehow |:
I tried again and... lost when the door opened... does this game have a time limit? Cos that seems pretty bad for a game that requires waiting for downloads/waiting through long trailers :S
Technically impressive of loading the video into the game, though. As others have said, having clues in the environment, on posters, maybe some news articles you could find, fake reviews and such would have improved this I think. Would make it possible for people who don't recognise a movie, and give you something to do while loading.

Like for "man cave" design)

Very cool concept!
I was not able to finish, not even pass the second trailer, because when the 2nd trailer ended, the door opened. I tried to restart the game, but the same thing happened again :(

But then I noticed it was random trailer and I was impressed. I loved the idea.
I didn't like the game over scene, I think it disrupts the mood you accomplished.

Overall, a really complete entry. Good job!

Great use of the theme, unusual and highly entertaining gameplay, fantastic atmosphere.

On my first go I didn't notice the floating box over the computer and just looked at it directly while spamming keys and trying to figure out why the vids kept changing. Needless to say, I freaked out a little when the door opened!

On my second go, I got the hang of it and completed the game. I even managed to do it without resorting to the internet. :)
