Yeah the problem with the foreground objects was something I only noticed quite late, and the text disappearing quickly was a function of some really baffling bugs that happened when I made the text stay. I decided cutting that out and finishing the game made more sense than troubleshooting. It's the Jam way.
Really cool, I love how simple it is and how much things can change. Nice job.
It took me a while to work out that there was a second 'verb' but once I did it got very interesting. really cool.

excellent! I love the level design. The fast inner paths vs the safe outer ones, the tricksy mazes that feint which way you should go, etc. very cool! nice work!
